Kami Briden: The restaurant is adorable but the Cuban sandwich and papa rellena were bland. Soggy bread for sandwich snd flavorless papa rellena. I am Cuban so I may be biased though. The cheese and guava tequenos are good though!!Food: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Cubano Sandwich Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot, Free street parking …More

Julie Hoge: Went for the first time after enjoying stroll in Lafayette neighborhood and saw this place. Latin food is so comforting and they definitely don't disappoint. The plantain chips are addicting and the bowls are fresh made and amazing. So full of flavor. I will be going back frequently. Love supporting local.
Cari Morales: We need this restaurant to make it to my hometown of Indianapolis, please! This restaurant is absolutely delicious and the staff are so friendly. We had the pollo guisado as well as the ropa vieja bowl and let me tell you, it was one of the best meals I've had during my trip to St. Louis! We also had jugo de parcha (or maracuyá, depending on where you're from... Passion fruit works, too). Everything took me back to my childhood. La música estuvo brutal. Nos encantó and if we are ever back in town, no doubt, we will definitely make it back.
Yoel Rodríguez: Not good at all. Their bowls are acid the bean has bad taste and not even water they serve on the table. The air is so loud that you ears will be in pain.Recommended dishes Yucca Fries, Pernil Bowl, Steak and Cheese …More
Anthony Munns: Rudimentary cuban sandwich shop. Good sandwiches. A serving of fries is good for two people. Good for a quick lunch.Recommended dishes Cubano Sandwich Parking options Free street parking …More
Ang Robinson: As a Puerto Rican from Florida, when I moved to St. Louis I was sad that I had to let go of the many of Hispanic food joints over there. Fortunately, found this place online and we were more than happy to try it out. It was a pleasant surprise when the food and atmosphere were equally appealing. A+ on the portions. Love that this place doesn’t blast loud music like some other places. The customer service is great, the type of place where you actually want to leave a nice tip. This morning when we came, they had even opened a few minutes early. Which is extremely rare these days, especially after the scamdemic. I can’t give it 5 stars because it’s not authentic hispanic food but it does the job. Thank you guys.
K M: Just call it what it is , culture appropriation at its finest. The food is ok but missing the puertorican/ Cuban / Dominican flavor from back home .
Pat Martin: Casual, welcoming atmosphere, delicious food prepared fresh and delivered to your table- we can't wait to go back and try more off the menu!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Cubano Sandwich …More
Justin Murphy: I came here with a friend for lunch while we were visiting Saint Louis. We were looking for a nice local spot to stop at and this was definitely a great place to choose. While they were out of pork when we came, we were able to get some other unique sandwiches that were full of flavor. We left satisfied without really wanting or needing anything else, and that’s about all you can ask for. I would definitely come back to try some of their other sandwiches or bowls.
Kathy Torrington: Enjoyed the vegan options! So nice to see this fun restaurant doing well.
DeAnne Goforth-Keel: Great spot to eat! The food always tastes fresh!!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Esteban Teran: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Vicky Treffert: Advertised as Dominican, Puerto Rican, and Cuban cuisine; I guess my expectations were set a little too high. The food was phenomenal, don't get me wrong. But the whole experience felt "appropriated". Overall, mehFood: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Michael Dust: Fantastic! We went on an afternoon on a weekday and it was very chill and the staff were great! Food is awesome!

Saucy Porka Midtown: what do users think?
Jayden Phillips: Dine-in experience: Seat yourself and use a QR qode on a smartphone to get the menu and order from your phone, and they bring it out to you. You pay right from the start when you order, so there's no waiting around for a check. We ordered the mango margarita and blackberry bubbly to drink. 2 Chorizo egg rolls, which we'd order again. My partner had a Puerto Rican rice bowl, and I had 2 Tofu Baco and 1 pork Baco, which were amazing! The buns are so fluffy and fresh, and everything has such great flavor. Also tried the Nutella donuts which were OK. Love the atmosphere. Big windows, good lighting, nice music.Vegetarian options: Tofu baco is a favorite and I don't eat tofu on the regular.
Alanna Jones: I was in town visiting STL and was eyeing this place before my trip to try out. The atmosphere is amazing. I love how I can sit myself, scan the table code and order at my leisure. Love that. And the decor, aesthetic, and overall ambiance is great. Where this restaurant is lacking is flavor in their food. The textures were great but the flavors were very flat. Thank good for the tostones sauce because otherwise, not good. And the Ropa Vieja, it was spicy but no depth of flavors. Nothing had any depth. I was really hoping for a small unique place with a variation of flavors in the food, but it just wasn’t there. And be careful of the teas, they are EXTREMELY SWEET. If you’re looking for an herbal refreshing teas that are light on sugar, don’t order these. Get water instead.
Kelly Potter: First time visitor, will be back! The bacos are slightly sweet with bright flavor pairings. I tried the shrimp, duck, chicken and pork. Each one left me wanting more!Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Parking space Difficult to find parking …More

The Watcher Wallace: I really enjoyed everything I tried so far from here! It's a sure place to visit if you have not been before!!
Pat Green: Delicious food, when they say make it spicy they mean it hahaFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free street parking, Paid street parking …More
Andrew Albright: The bacos are outstanding, the eggrolls are otherworldly, and the dipping sauces should be sold in grocery stores nationwide.Let's not forget that the prices are absurdly cheap given how expensive everything is lately. There's a good amount of solid food choices in STL, but for me, this place shines above them all.Top 5 places I've been in the US.
nishe abellana: Everything was sooooo good! The atmosphere and ambiance were pretty chill and trendy. I'm definitely coming back. The staff was also great and welcoming.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Tostones, Puerto Rican Rice Bowl, Sweet Potato Fries …More

J. R. Humphry: We did take out.Everything was very good.Cheerful staff.Vegetarian options: Some are also vegan.
Teresa Cooke: Monkey Fries were delicious! The bowls looked spicy, but definitely weren’t. Hibiscus Tea was surprisingly not overpowering like I thought it would be. Quite refreshing!
Chris Coletti: Recommended dishes Puerto Rican Rice BowlMore
Maggie Rayasam: I could eat these Bacos every day!! Get one of each you won't be disappointed! The Picadillo fries were hot and crispy with tasty Picadillo meat! The eggs rolls were crispy and lots of filling! My favorite was the Duck Baco! The restaurant is very thoughtfully decorated. Comfy seating and most importantly the service was friendly, fast and knowledgeable! Don't miss this place or the Nutella Donut bites!
Austin Patton: In my eyes, this place really deserves something between 4 and 5 stars, but I'd say it's closer to 4 than 5 so here we are.The concept of this place is great! I've never tried Latin-Asian fusion before and was skeptical prior to trying it, but I was not disappointed! I tried five things: a tempura baco, the duck baco, a chorizo egg roll, the picadillo egg roll, and the Mexican pho with shrimp. I didn't dislike any of the things that I tried, but the only thing that really "wowed" me was the chorizo egg roll. Personally, I thought the tempura baco needed a little sauce or maybe some lemon juice on top, but otherwise no complaints.

The food was wonderful (don't skip the empanadas!) and there was even a kids menu. Excellent variety on the menu, something for everyone!Vegetarian options: Plenty of meatless and pescatarian options available.Kid-friendliness: The kids menu was wonderful with options of chicken or beef milanesa, beef filet, and chicken thighs. It's refreshing to see a restaurant that doesn't just offer the standard kid food. Rodney Ebrecht: We stopped in here as part of the Maplewood coffee crawl and so glad we did! They were SO nice and encouraged us to try try an empanada which was DELICIOUS! We were so glad to hear they do a brunch (always on the lookout for a good brunch place) so we decided to check it out. Food was incredible and the staff are some of the nicest, most polite and accommodating people we’ve come across in a long time. Definitely gonna come back for dinner soon.Highly recommend!

John K: Another very nice restaurant in Maplewood. Tried the Sangria and it was delightfully smooth and sweet. For the appetizer I had a beef empanada. Nice and crispy on the outside and mouth watering on the inside. For my entree I ordered the 8oz fillet cooked medium with yucca frita. The steak was cooked nicely and it had a good sear. The meat was not buttery tender as I was hoping. Several bites were a little chewy. This was disappointing. The yucca fritas were enjoyable. Tried the flan for dessert and it was smooth and delicious. I’ll be back but I don’t recommend the fillet.
Chris Dornfeld: It’s always great to find a restaurant that is just excellent in every way 😊- and Asador Del Sur is that! The service was friendly and prompt, the decor is well done and the food was nothing short of excellent - from the empanadas to the flourless chocolate cake. Even the beans and rice was worth the visit. I am looking forward to going back and trying more dishes!!
Theo: If you’re looking for great Latin food in the St Louis area look no further. A great mix of Latin flavor with every dish and drink. The service was spot on and the space is a great place for a date night, celebration or really any night. Give ‘em a try!
D'Na Hankins: Lobster salad and short ribs were fantastic!
