Mark Hutchison: I stopped in alone on a Saturday early evening, the place was busy but I was directed to a booth. The waitress came to ask for my drink order. She delivered my drink order and ask for my food order. I ordered the fish & chips they came to my table with three good size fish portions and fries. The fish was very meaty, the fish was delicious, breading was good, the fish was not greasy at all, tarter sauce was so good. The service was top drawer, the dinner was a good value.

Marcia Lahens: Their burger is the benchmark for burgers! Meaty, perfectly cooked and a great charbroiled flavor...truly fabulous! A terrific Reuben, though I would have liked a bit more sauerkraut, and roast beef sandwich, too. Their fries are crisp and delicious, and their onion rings are a must-order!

Rob Marshall: I hate giving bad reviews but O'Connell's has gone down hill over the years. My guess is new management and I think they need to hear about it to restore the O'Connell's name and tradition. The service was poor, it was like we were an inconvenience while dining there. It was as we were being rushed to eat. Twice we were asked if they could take our plates(paper trays) 5 minutes after being served. The food was decent but not worth the price. The tables, booths and floors were not clean which is inexcusable for how early we were there for lunch.

VORTEX VIPER: A dirty place, especially the men's bathroom. I don't know how they get away with it. Dark and dirty should be investigated by the Health Department. They should have invested on the inside, not on a new parking lot. And the woman standing there asking to see your covid papers before you can eat there, what a joke. What does that remind you of?
Michael Bain: O'Connell's Pub by far has the best burgers in St Louis! And best fish and chips on Friday, we come here once a week, love it.

Jack Carello: Awesome Irish Pub!!! Very good food. Indoor and outdoor seating. There is TVs and a bar to watch sports. The interior is decorated beautifully. Absolutely a great restaurant to go to!!!

Kendra Quinlan: Unless you're a drunk college student, I would not recommend. The staff was combative and just wanting to go home, so we heard them say. The drinks were poured incorrectly and the food was subpar at best. We have seasoning and spices for a reason.When we asked for a manager, he was less than receptive to our complaints. He did, however, take care of our bill of untouched food and drink. Coming from a background in the service industry, I would not recommend this to an enemy. Cheers and good luck!

If you havent been here definitely check this one out. Also the host was a very helpful man didnt catch his name but he was super nice and helpful. If you get fries also get the ranch per his recommendation. It didnt disappoint. Thank you for a great experience on our 10th anniversary.

Cindy Spencer: Great location, atmosphere, service and food. We got right in and served drinks and pretzel appetizer within 10 minutes. We're had fish and chips and the fish was done perfectly and a high portion. Had the flat top burger with macaroni and cheese which was nice and juicy and flavorful. Also had ther grilled halibut with roasted potatoes and asparagus and it was perfect. We plan to go back!

We really appreciated the vegan snacks (chips and green salad with balsamic) and a little midday space to unwind after a trip to the St. Louis Art Museum.

Thomas Robb: A nice little pub randomly chosen by my wife off the internet during our vacation in St. Louis. An interesting history and featured once on the Food Network, but we didn't find this out until after we arrived. The food was great. I had the lamb burger - very juicy and flavourful topped with apricot chutney. My wife had the truffle grilled cheese which she enjoyed. Both well presented. They have a good choice of beer, wine, and mixed drinks; not extensive but you should find something you like. The staff was friendly - Kristin was our waitress and served us well! We would go again when in town.
