Tayler Bertelsman: I came in needing a bottle of wine for a gift. James was super helpful in finding me the perfect bottle of wine in my price range! I was honestly a little jealous of the selection and almost left buying two bottles - one for a gift and one for me.I look forward to coming back for Tuesday wine tastings.Edit: I kept coming back and each time was as great as my first visit. They have a wonderful charcuterie board available (expect on Tuesdays) and one of the best patios in the area.

Sharice Carr-Brown: Went here on a date night and it was amazing. The view from the roof was incredible. The drinks were good, not watered down, but the food was not all that good. They were out of wings and the chicken nachos were not as good as I was hoping. But I will say, the customer service, music and vibe certainly made up for it!

The food terrible! Both plates came with these dice potatoes that were extremely wet and tasted as if they were barely thraw from the freezer. Chicken and waffles were giving Eggos and your typical cafeteria chicken tenders. Quiche had cooked and raw onions in it so texture was crazy. I think what was actually worst than the food was the service. We kept asking for things, (server) would either walk by us or just not bring it. We asked for water like 10 times (no exaggeration) and we never received it. It actually got so bad we just got up and started ordering things from the bar.DJ Rico was a great. Music could be a little louder it was just kind of in the background like elevator music.I’ll be back just not for brunch

Jessica Wiley: Welllll, Dj Rico Steez(one of the best femme DJ's in STL) posted that Brunch will start to be served here and since my trip to AR was cancelled, me and the hubby threw some clothes on ASAP!! We were lucky to find parking on the streets, but you can also use the parking lot across the street...now, this was our first time (and u know how I am Abt first impressions lolbvs)-so boom, we hop on the elevator cuz the bar is located on the 7th floor...when I say the scene and ambiance is EVERYTHING, take a look at the pics/videos. It wasn't packed at all and since we ran into familiar faces, it was only right to sit on the balcony. 10mins pass and no one has come to take orders so our friend walked to the bar asking how does one get served-he was told once you take a seat, someone will come to you and he then witnessed a couple servers debating on who will help lolbvs. Another 6mins go by and Mark finally comes over and takes our friends order-we attempted to get him to grab our order also, but seeing as how he didn't write anything down I let it slide...Mark returns and we initially wanted the chicken and waffles,but our friend apparently order the last of the chicken so we settled for french toast and hubby added bacon that was clearly the microwave kind😂(SIDE NOTE: Mark was clearly having a bad day or didn't really want to serve us bc anytime we requested a modification, asked questions or even order he rolled his eyes or made an awkward face)...I could go on bc the service received really ruined the experience I was hoping for-plus the food was ok, those potatoes needed salt...now my Mimosa Flight and hubbys Tequila Sunrise was on point!! I plan to try again and hopefully the service is way different

Chris Stephens: The food was bland. I got the Caesar wrap that came with about 10 chips! The drinks was good the highlight of the evening!! Until we got the bill and there was %18 gratuity added no mention or any signs posted anywhere! The service was not worth a 10 dollar tip!

Michelle: Visited the Upbar twice and two different experiences. The first time I visited was very nice, warm outside (outdoor seating) and food was perfect! The second time was opposite, during the winter on a Saturday (January) one side of the restaurant is extremely cold due to the windows are not properly sealed, which you see the openings around the window seal. The side with the bar is heated and I should have chosen that side. The side without the bar, you will have to keep your coat on and your food will be cold. The portion of the food was way smaller ($30 for the above all) was not worth the price. Music was good!

Gary N: Very disappointed. I found this place while exploring the area around the Cardinals Stadium. I walked in, two of the three employees on the floor looked at me, no greeting, and no direction on where to go/sit. So, I elected to sit at the empty bar. I sat there for at least 10 minutes before I was acknowledged. In fact, a person they clearly knew walked up, stood next to me, and they took his order before mine after I’d been sitting there for at least 8 minutes at this point.Finally, one of the two bartenders asked me what I wanted. “An old fashioned, please.” The bar tender returned and said he made it with love and apologized for not having any oranges. No biggy. He actually made a decent drink.Only moments later, as my cup lay empty in plain view, I started at the three employees in hopes one would make eye contact with me. They stayed huddled together chit chatting on the back side of the bar. They stayed there for the duration of a Maroon 5 song that played on the radio. Girls Like You to be precise. I know because I lip synced it while waited to make eye contact so I could order another drink. The male bartender sat sipping his water while the female bartender attempted to discretely suck on her vape pen…Finally, she noticed me looking at her as she scanned the room to see if anyone caught her smoking whatever it was she was smoking… When she approached, she asked, “you all good, babe?” I replied, “Can I get one more and close out?” She said yes and the proceeded to make one of, if not the worst old fashioned I have ever had. I choaked it down, paid my $22 (for two drinks) tab and vowed to never return.Maybe I was treated poorly because of my Yankees hat or maybe the two girls working just don’t care about providing good customer service. The male bartender was fine, he gets the one star I’ve awarded this place. Without him it’d definitely have been a zero (if you could give zero stars).

Eli Quinn: They never answer the phone and when they do they’ll leave you on hold for at least 30 mins. The food is mid. The last time I order food I was missing a whole meal and they did nothing about it. The only good thing about this location are the waitresses. The ladies are so sweet- but everything else is not worth it.

D W: Came here on a night where McGurks was way too packed and uncomfortable. It was about a 5 minute walk down the street so we didn't have to repark our cars. And it was the BEST decision. Drinks were decent, vibe and the entire atmosphere was super eclectic. My friend and I even got to enjoy the pool table in the back all to ourselves. It was definitely the best choice.

Kendra Quinlan: Unless you're a drunk college student, I would not recommend. The staff was combative and just wanting to go home, so we heard them say. The drinks were poured incorrectly and the food was subpar at best. We have seasoning and spices for a reason.When we asked for a manager, he was less than receptive to our complaints. He did, however, take care of our bill of untouched food and drink. Coming from a background in the service industry, I would not recommend this to an enemy. Cheers and good luck!
