St. Louis Men's Clinic: what do users think?
chris sorth: Horrible, go to your doctor or a place that takes your insurance. New name, New owners but refused to honor even after giving over 3k. Its embarrassing as a man w Ed so when paying cash the odds of a man filing a complaint they know is low. High pressure sales.
K E: All I can say is every negative review of this “Doctors Office” is 100% true. I’ve experienced all of the issues explained and then some. The owner called me a liar and asked me if I wanted them to hold my hand through the treatment process. They will do this while not making appointments to see the doctor just assuming you have a couple hours to spare when you shoe up for a T-shot. They also will not tell you when you are expected to get bloodwork done. If you do end up getting blood work done they may or may not go over it with you at some random time.I will say the plans will work for you if properly diagnosed. The problem is this particular clinic is more focused on getting your money and then kind of providing a service if it’s convenient for them. There are much better much more professional clinics in the St. Louis area that are available. I would suggest avoiding this particular business and doing your research. It will be much better for your pocketbook and overall health.
Brian Jones: Their customer service is awful. They will take your money fast, but any refunds... no way. I paid over $2000 and then bought an extra dispenser as I thought I lost my first. They charged me $20 (after paying $2000 how miserly of them) and then after I found the original one and wanted a refund for the new one, they refused!Over the phone I wanted an adjustment in duration. Fine they said come in 2 days to pick it up. Two days later I show up and told, not ready as the doctor wanted to see me. I said why didn’t you tell me that 2 days ago so I could book an appointment. The response was he wasn’t here the day you called in so tough sh..!No call to me beforehand to inform me of this need. Then they wanted me to wait an an unknown amount of time in the lobby to see the doc. I have a busy schedule, so no way. I had to book another appointment to show up yet again. The doc wouldn’t do this over the phone for some crazy reason. Looking in my eyes to make sure I’m telling the truth?!?These guys are making a fortune out of this voodoo medicine is my take now.
J Tier: Do not go to this clinic. You can get the same ED prescriptions from your PCP or Urologist, and fill them at a compound pharmacy such as Walgreens in Richmond Heights for a LOT LESS MONEY. They just want to get as much money as they can out of you by pushing their so-called "treatment plans". Plus, somebody said they changed their name because it would make them look like the new kid in town, which makes me think that they are really unstable. I paid $99.00, and all I got was my blood pressure checked and some blood drawn to check my PSA. The doctor spent 10 minutes with me, and then some "counselor (what kind of medical credentials qualified him for this role???) started pushing me towards all of these solutions, even trying to get me to finance medication. This is not a serious medical clinic. Of course, this is only my opinion, so use your own judgement.
Justin Hill: I am super happy with the results I have gotten at the St. Louis Men's Clinic. I came in for Low T treatment due to serious fatigue issues and an inability to workout like I wanted. They ran the correct labs and found my Free T was very low and prescribed therapeutic Testosterone. Within 2 weeks I started to feel my energy increase and my ability to work out greatly improved. Their customer service has been great and their prices are very affordable. I couldn't be happier with the St. Louis Men's Clinic!
Rick Rykart: First of all, I've been a client of St Louis Men's Clinic for 4 years. I don't suffer fools gladly, so for me to stay with them for four years says alot. It says, first of all, that the people who work for the clinic, in all the various capacities, run an excellent ship. It can't be easy for them because there are so many clients, each looking for personalized medical treatment, and personalized psychological treatment as well. Medically, they offer the absolute best attention to detail there is. Blood testing and consultation with certified actual physicians is available as part of the process, for no extra charges. That cannot be beaten. Now, psychologically speaking, it has often struck me that, one way or another, probably all the men who come to the clinic are initially in some sort of emotional distress over whatever their individual situation is. They may not admit it, but I've seen it, and it was so for me as well. At the St Louis Men's Clinic there is an empathetic concern for this and absolutely everyone who works there in whatever capacity, is sensitive to this. There is a reassurance that comes from the cordiality of everyone and the ambience of good feeling that is generated. It feels like a private club where men who are initially feeling perhaps isolation, or embarassment, over their particular condition are put at ease and made to feel as part of that club. Whether it's the office personnel such as Jonathon, Blake, Justin, and the others, who allay men's fears and anxieties with their professionalism, knowledge, and this empathy I'm describing--or the tremendous tech people such as Kevin or Will who have past medical experience and finely honed technique, which results in the same relief of anxiousness the clients could easily feel if these guys were not as good as they are at what they do--the experience of being a client could not possibly be any better I say with all sincerity. Personally, I view my experiences over the last four years with St Louis Men's Clinic as having been completely essential to maintaining my entire overall health. I'm in a period of life where I've seen many of my contemporaries' individual health be on the wane. I feel like I'm the recipient of very good fortune for having come to St Louis Men's Clinic to begin with, and here's the kicker--I came from another clinic which was 180 degrees the opposite of everything I've described in this review. My experience there was equally negative as this has been positive. The point being I've seen the contrast so I know what I'm talking about. So from one man to another out there reading this and on the verge of making a choice--you will not be disappointed in any way should you choose to give St Louis Men's Clinic a try for whatever your malady is...
Matthew v: Justin and the physician...( I can’t remember his name) were very good to me. The physician was thorough, solution seeking, and most importantly- kind. Justin laid out multiple payment options, without over stepping his bounds. I never felt pressured....just informed. The clinical director was also very kind to me over the phone yesterday and did not breach confidentiality in anyway. He got me scheduled , and seemed genuinely interested in my well being.Nice medical assistant too. I never got his name either. Blonde fella. Oh well.I have felt extremely hustled since I got back from Chicago, people quoting me insulting prices, and unqualified marketers giving me advice and interviewing me about my personal medical history. There are a few competitors in town offering programs at 3000 dollars. That’s insane. This is the cheapest option I’ve found, with the nicest staff. I’d recommend fully.
Reginald Finney: Hi, I was literally caught short. I live in St. Louis but I work in Springfield and I come home every other week. I was a client of Cambridge but they turned their clients over to the Men's Clinic! I checked their website and discovered they were only open during the week. So, I called early one Friday from work and they indicated that I could come in and get my medicine, well you know! I left work after lunch and sped to St. Louis! When I got there they told me they didn't have a record of the dosage I was supposed to get! Talk about being pissed and feeling like I was left HANGING, that was the state I was in. Real pissed until Johnathan step up and calmed me down. Johnathan calmly explained the situation gave me options, alternatives and his cell as he was determined to help me get straightened out. I was able to work from home the week of Thanksgiving, Johnathan worked with me directly and I merrily went on my with my proper dosage. I was no longer short and I was totally straightened out as I headed directly to my ladies house! Exceptional customer service and I would highly recommend them to anyone that need their particular health service! THANKS JOHNATHAN AND THE ST. LOUIS MEN'S CLINIC!
Ed Shalabi: Bad experiences. It's all about how much money they can get from you.
Penguin Wrangler: Guys they are real nice here, I felt comfortable. I worked in law enforcement and have injured my back. This has caused me to have some problems and the men's clinic helped.
Dennis Michael Dylewski: Its a joke. As you can see im sitting outside thier office as I have been tuned away from the appointment window for the second time. First time for being 20 MIN late. The second I dont know the doctor couldn't make it. Doubtful how this is going to turn out. But since we keep playing musical appointments I may never know. Perhaps its for the best. I have a business that takes me out of town ran here all the way from NC in snow storms just to have these astute individuals turn me away for the second time.
Tim H: The service, professionalism, and overall experience I've had at the St. Louis Men's Clinic has been excellent. Best of all, I'm very happy the results of the treatments I've received at this clinic. Based on my experience and results, I would highly recommend the St. Louis Men's Clinic. Give it a try; You won't regret it in the long run.
Michael Aichs: Fantastic staff, I would recommend without hesitation . They came through for me when my primary doctor wouldn't even explore my condition.
Rob Garner: While the staff is friendly, and the office is very clean I am not at all satisfied with the treatment. I have experienced absolutely none of the results touted by their commercials, rather I have experienced weight gain, continue to lack motivation, etc. During my last visit I was told, hey you work out so its normal. No it isn't, I eat clean, rarely drink and yes workout but I have increased belly fat. Also while i was in during my last visit, i was told that while "you am good looking enough guy, my wife is just wow, you did well" Not an appropriate comment from anyone that isn't a friend. I requested a refund and in their email stating so, I was told I am free to discuss with them further options (aka give us more money) which is unacceptable. I would not recommend this clinic and I will be pushing this issue further with my credit card company. I would give zero stars if this was an option.
Allen Lawson II: Don't let the negatives here dissuade you. True Low-T is an insurance nightmare to deal with, believe me.Low testosterone. It's an unfortunate fact of life, and it can be devastating to a relationship, your life and your health.I started feeling lethargic, foggy, weak, irritable and started losing muscle while gaining fat no matter what I tried. Coming from an active life of natural weightlifting (no steroids or cheaters) and cardio I felt I was losing the battle...at 35 years old. Being such an avid weightlifter, and a stocky fellow to boot, my primary doctor just thought I was seeking for some "help" with gym progress. I kept hearing, "It's part of aging." I can understand that, and maybe if I was 55 I would agree, but I am not even 40, and it's not time to throw in the towel yet. I finally decided to move on it and find out what was really going on; enter the St. Louis Men's Clinic.First, I called and spoke with someone who actually listened to my woes. They were engaging and actually asked relevant follow up questions to my statements. It shows they were listening, which is a definite plus. I scheduled an appointment and came on in. I spoke with a counselor and a doctor, both of which were professional with a perfect amount of levity, which is what I look for in a professional. It means they are serious about what they do while keeping things in perspective. We did a blood test and found I was definitely in the range for low testosterone. (As a precaution I also followed up with my primary doctor for potential cancer screenings, thyroid and pituitary problems and second opinions, all of which were good) The cost was a bit intimidating at first, and since most insurance companies are not playing ball with testosterone doctors, it's something you have to bite the bullet and decide if it's right for you. I did the math, and after copays and such, it's not much of a difference if I jumped through all the hoops for the insurance company by going through my primary or just did it myself. I chose to have the control of my own health and wrote the check. It was the best choice I could have made. Since then, I have regained my zest and vitality. I have been able to go back to being myself and not be the raging bull or frustration all the time. I have lost the weight I was struggling with and have been able to get back to normal.I go in for weekly injections. My visits are less than 10 minutes typically and I can be on my way. The staff is friendly and the facility is very clean. It's now to the point where I look forward to my visit so I can catch up with the guys in the office. My life is better at home, work and the gym. I would recommend a visit to anyone having the same issues I was having. Don't let pride or embarrassment get in the way, life it too short to feel like it's already over. You will find this same review on the BBB and Yelp website, where I am very active, this is so I can spread the word for a good business. It's under the same name, and I want people to know I am not paid to say the things you have read. I take reviews very seriously, especially when health and well being are at risk.
Rodney Bampton: Theses doctors know exactly what they are doing when it comes to men's health. To me this area of my health is just as important as a nuerological, orthopedic or cardiac problem and because of this I choose to go to a clinic that specializes in the area I need. Sure I could go to my primary and let them guess and test but these guys get it dialed in much faster. As far as the used car salesman cash is always king whether it's Lasic, laser spine institute, or cancer centers of America, true cutting edge stuff is usually a cash service. Once insurance steps in and you let a nurse in Texas decide what's right for you the service and results go right out the window, you do get to spend less but it suddenly becomes Walmart healthcare.
gene Forneris: I believe it's a scam. NoPhysical. They have a used car lot salesman who could sell you they product without contacting my primary doctor. I told him that I wanted to talk to my doctor first, pressure me into spending $1399.00. I spoke to my primary doctor the next day, and discussed my experience and what they gave me. I was told to definitely don't take the stronger Viagra and Cilias. He told me that because of me past experience with the standard Viagra, causing dizziness, light headedness, and hearth racing, I should not take it. He ignored me intention to discuss this with my doctor. I try to call and leave messages with Justin on 4 occasions and he never returned my call.
Rick S: BE PREPARED. This is a sales pitch ONLY. No physical, very minor blood work. $1,500 - $3,000 pitch to buy their product.
Rich Pope: Every man that leaves that clinic is diagnosed with Low-T. It's a high-pressure sales situation where they charge you thousands of dollars for something your primary doctor can solve for a $20 co-pay. The St. Louis Men's Health Clinic makes their own testosterone cream and no one knows how pure it is. Stick with the pharmaceuticals that have been researched and have passed FDA standards.
JDT: My experience at St. Louis Men's Clinic was very good. Every aspect of their service is exceptional. The staff is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They make you feel more like family than just another patient. All my questions and concerns were explained in great detail. I highly recommend St. Louis Men's Clinic!
Michael May: I appreciated every detail of my experience at the ST Louis Men's Clinic EXCEPT ONE. The appointment service is great. The reception, medical personnel, and financial folks were all super. However, the one really egregious area that is hidden until you are at a point of vulnerability is COST. The advertisement of $199 is misleading. The least amount of money you can spend if you purchase any of the product is $1500.00 or more. That is truly awful! Each treatment for an ED sufferer to enable him to perform with his wife is $25 each time and the minimum number of these in the lowest costing package is 50. That means $1250.00 for the treatment plus the $199, plus tax comes very close to $1500.00. The men who go here are pretty desperate and they should know something about the very high cost before they do anything beyond the waiting room. The preferred answer is to diminish the cost of each treatment, but another possibility is to trim the smallest package down from 50. I was shocked - it's just not right, and there's probably no insurance for this. Oh - on the good side, the product definitely works.
