Regan Gremaud: I have sold clothing items in the past & felt I was made a fair deal. This time around was not the same experience. I went in during my lunch break around 11:30am to drop off a large bag of clothing & shoes.I had to go home & continue working & came back to collect my compensation around 6pm. When I came back, they told me they bought 10 items for $31….. I had a pair of all pink women’s dunks that had been worn one time, multiple pieces from urban outfitters, and all name brand items. When I asked to see an itemized list of what they took, they were unable to provide that. They said since I dropped off in the morning it would be too hard to figure out what they bought from me. I was frustrated & asked again & she just told me there was no way they could track down what they purchased from me. The pink dunks alone are worth way more than $31… I can’t even track how many items they actually took either without an itemized receipt. Pretty bummed because I have always enjoyed shopping at Avalon but I will NEVER sell to them again.

Adie Bennett: I Love Avalon Exchange! Friendly staff, open well organized store. Tidy, well lit roomy fitting rooms.This is a resale store, so typically, there is only one of each item. So if you find something you like buy it because I can guarantee it won't be there when you go back. They have a wide range of styles 90s, Y2K and such are currently in, and they buy vintage items selectively. (No formal wear, no business wear, etc) if you have questions about what they are buying, please call beforehand or check out their Instagram!If you sell items to Avalon, you get 30% of what they will sell the item for or 40% store credit of the list item. Store credit doesn't expire. Don't expect to get what you paid for the item. That isn't how resale works.The only complaint is that since they moved, there is no seating inside to wait for buys anymore.

Leapheeon: Haven't visited since about 7-8 years ago, but I had just as much fun browsing this time around. Lots of fun pieces and for very reasonable prices. Slightly higher prices than a typical thrift store, but the prices were still great and worth paying for what I saw. I picked up a few vintage clothing items and they were in great shape. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're into finding unique and/or vintage clothing!

Kyle Williams: Rush down here to make it on time to sell some clothes, arrived 6 minutes past allowed time, as I literally begged her to buy them because I was in desperate need and she told me "there is nothing she can do." If she was busy I could see but she literally stood there for the next 10 minutes as I watched her do nothing and it was just out of pure laziness she wouldn't take the clothes. I don't write many bad reviews but this is well deserved.

An amazing person: The clothes are either overly oversized or too small. I did not see a coat section at all this time. There used to be a lot of coats and clothes several years ago. Several years ago there were much better quality brands. One time we went here and waited 20 minutes to check out. It took them 3 different cashiers and a “manager” to come out to process a payment. Zero empathy and the manager did not even look at us. Bad service.

Not knowing how any of the items fit, I left them. Because who wants to buy them, go home and try them on, only to drive 45 mins back to do a return if something doesn’t work? Not me.Also, don’t ask me to “come back and visit soon” until the fitting rooms are open.

Carla C: Buy so low it was insulting and the staff was condescending. They offered me 10% of retail on 8 items as a “lot” on new shoes and dresses purchased from Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom tags still on the merchandise. I walked out because I would make more money donating to charity with a tax write off. Also said in December they are only buying spring clothing which doesn’t match their website.

They ship it to a delivery service and the delivery service sets up delivery with you. It’s taking over a month to receive something I needed last week. 😔
Malik Garner: I love UO. But this location’s men side is so small and barely has anything. The women’s had the whole bottom floor and about 75% of the upper floor.
Bailey Farrar: Very limited sizes available in store. Online they have a range of sizes, but the store never seems to stock up on larger sizes.
Peter Parker: I got the cutest space/planetary socks and Nirvana's "Nervermind" album from here and I am very happy with these purchases. They're a bit overpriced though honestly so you'd probably be better trying to find items you see there second-hand.

Nicole Smith: Wow. Used to be my favorite store, but customer service here has gone down immensely. Ordered an item for curbside pickup, said they would deliver my item within 5 minutes. After 15 minutes I called to see if there was an issue and the woman who rudely answered the phone did not even ask me my name or order number, but instead said “yeah someone’s I’ll bring it to you” and hung up. Deplorable.Update: I have been waiting now for almost 30 minutes and still no order has arrived to me. What a disgrace.
