Karen Williams: I took my fur coat in to get an estimate on what it would cost to restyle it into a vest. The white lady treated me as if I had stole her first born grand child. She is the rudest person I have ever encountered. She was demeaning and nasty. She tried to talk me into making something else, even though I could have swiped my card for a brand new fur. I will never patronize this establishment ever again. I have read other reviews about this lady. The company need to get rid of her, she should not work in customer service. If there was such thing as a half of star rating, I would not even give THAT!!!!! #lostAGoodCustomer.

Monica Hamell: 8/17/2022I patronized the Fur Centre located at 7901 Clayton Rd, Clayton, MO 63105 on June 4, 2022 and purchased The Kiki Bolero New Natural Red Fox. I placed the jacket on the lay-a-way plan on June 4th for $1,200 and put $300.00 as a down payment. I agreed to 6 monthly installments of $150.00 to pay the jacket off in time as a Christmas gift to myself. I received an email alert 8/16/2022 saying the Fur Center was having a Summer Clearance sale so I clicked the link and saw my jacket was listed for $850. I called the Fur Center and was advised that since I already had my jacket in lay-a-way a price adjustment could not be made and all sales were final. I spoke with the owner who advised my specific jacket was not on sale only the Cherry Red, Black and white were on sale. I kept telling her it was and I had pictures on my phone. She told me there was nothing she could do and if I canceled my lay-a-way I would loose all my money that I've paid towards my jacket thus far which was $600. I feel as a Business Owner there was no empathy shown to myself as a customer and I let her know my mother has been patronizing this company for over 30 years and that's the reason I wanted to do the same. But after this type of service I will take my business elsewhere! I'm very disappointed with the staff and being BULLIED over the phone. There was no RESOLUTION just the STAFF and the OWNER telling me there was nothing they could do for me! This business is a JOKE! If I could give 0 stars I would! Keep your money as there are other Furrier Companies in the metropolitan area that I'm pretty sure treat their customers with Empathy, Dignity and most of all Respect!

Roadtrip Treasures: The best Vintage Furrier in St Louis, in all of Missouri! Ms. DeMay is so kind, Knowledgeable and an artist when it comes to fur restyling. She also does appraisals for insurance purposes.I’m excited to return again soon! Highly recommend her showroom as a must stop on Cherokee Row! She has beautiful curated antiques also.

George Barker: The taste and class of a JeffCo swap meet right in the heart of Cherokee's antique row. Why go out of your way to stop at Goodwill's dumpster when you can just pop in here without climbing in. I mean they have steps because they're not Ada compliant but you don't have to climb in this dumpster you can just walk right in. Bring meter /panhandler change.

Ryan Quitmeyer: I had given her my mink trapper hat to fix. She insisted I also get it cleaned. $75 for the repair, $25 for the cleaning. I agreed and thought it was a decent investment for a nice fur piece. I picked it up, paid her the $100, turned to leave and put on my hat as I left the shop, and realized one of the holes I was having her repair was not even sewed up. I just now got home and noticed TWO other holes were not fixed. I will be going back and complaining, but come on, girl. You had my hat for almost a month and never fixed what I brought it in for. I want some money back. I would recommend using a more professional service.

YEEHAW SIHA: While I understand some stores do have a policy of asking customers to leave their larger bags at the front of the store, please consider placing an obvious sign stating that on the door.Came in to buy a jacket and it was a little jarring to be asked midway through shopping, especially after having been greeted by the cashier and the policy not being mentioned.I carry anti-seizure medication and an epipen in my bag and cannot be separated from it, had I known in advance what the policy was I would have opted to go elsewhere and not waste anyone's time.
Ashleigh Houlihan: Was in the middle of shopping with my friends and one of the employees stopped us and asked us to hand our bags over and check through our things and then put our bags in the front. There was no sign saying we weren't allowed to bring bags in, and the person in the front just greeted us like normal. Will not return again and do not recommend for anyone who brings bags to put your things in when shopping.
Jessica Eichler: Best thrift-like store I've been to in long time. They have so many styles, so much to choose from everything is in great condition, with reasonable prices. AND it's ALL so we'll organized and color coordinated. Did I mention how BIG this place really is, and covered from wall to wall with fabulous merch. I left there the first time with a giant trash bag full of items I couldn't resist and all for a decent price I had to make myself stop looking or I would have kept buying! I definitely have it on my to-do list, to visit and see what kind of summer collection they have. If it's anything like their winter gear..I CANT Wait!!

Ive never spent more than 10$ for one at a resale store but this isn't an average resale shop so it's not a big deal.. Really nice, clean, & organized. They have neat vintage items but it's strictly just an apparel store so those aren't for sale. Only taking a star off because there was no restroom. I drove a long way to get there (50 minutes) & had to go pretty bad but was told there was no bathroom but there was one down the street. Which makes me question if they even have a bathroom? But I'm sure they do & it's just not open to the public. I would have spent more time in there & probably more money had I been able to use theirs. It's just not ideal to leave a store you're shopping at & walk down the street to use the bathroom at a random place you're not even patronizing. But like I said, nice little store.

Sounds like a north face sourcing problem. Overall, store is nice and staff is helpful in getting you what you need.
Hui Li: We purchased two coats from this store. The information plates on the coats were too small to read, so we asked the seller how to wash them. We were told they were machine washable with cold water. But that caused lumps inside the coats. Not happy about their irresponsible service .
Rebecca Davis: I had to make a return on a defective product. The first employee was really sweet, but (I’m assuming) the manager was really rude about it. She said, “well, I’ve never had any returns or problems with this before..” (trust me, there’s reviews online stating it leaked - why would I lie about this?) She was very dismissive, and seemed to take it personally that I was stern about making the return.North Face products are high quality, and good products. I’ll keep buying North Face, but I don’t understand why staff is so rude and dismissive (this was both over the phone with NF customer service, and multiple times in person).

Katie Wilimzig: Today we (my husband and I) had the worst customer service we've ever experienced at any store, ever. At approximately 4pm, we got to the store and the door was closed. The sign on the door said they close at 7pm on Saturdays. We could see several customers browsing inside and a customer at the counter, so we assumed they closed the door because they were at capacity because of Covid restrictions. We had waited outside a couple of other stores due to capacity restrictions, so we waited. Ten minutes later, an employee opens the door, a few customers leave, and he refused to let us in, stating that they're closed. Clearly confused, since it was only 4pm and the fact that other customers were clearly just shopping inside for the entire time we were standing there waiting, we asked what he was talking about. He said, “we’re just closing now.” I pointed out that the sign says 7pm and there’s other customers, and he just stood there looking at us. I said, “we made a trip here to buy some hoodies, and you’re saying that you’re closing for no reason?” He replied, “yes.” You could've knocked me over with a feather. The fact that this employee cares so little about providing customer service that not only were we standing outside the door like idiots for 10 minutes, but he refused to even give any sort of explanation of why the store was closing 3 hours early and why we were being refused entry (again, while there were currently customers in the store). We stood there looking at him for a good 15 seconds waiting for an explanation, an “I'm sorry for the inconvenience”... anything. We were flabbergasted by this employee’s total indifference. I typically buy North Face every year but no longer. Not if this is the type of customer service The North Face thinks is appropriate.
