Regan Gremaud: I have sold clothing items in the past & felt I was made a fair deal. This time around was not the same experience. I went in during my lunch break around 11:30am to drop off a large bag of clothing & shoes.I had to go home & continue working & came back to collect my compensation around 6pm. When I came back, they told me they bought 10 items for $31….. I had a pair of all pink women’s dunks that had been worn one time, multiple pieces from urban outfitters, and all name brand items. When I asked to see an itemized list of what they took, they were unable to provide that. They said since I dropped off in the morning it would be too hard to figure out what they bought from me. I was frustrated & asked again & she just told me there was no way they could track down what they purchased from me. The pink dunks alone are worth way more than $31… I can’t even track how many items they actually took either without an itemized receipt. Pretty bummed because I have always enjoyed shopping at Avalon but I will NEVER sell to them again.

Adie Bennett: I Love Avalon Exchange! Friendly staff, open well organized store. Tidy, well lit roomy fitting rooms.This is a resale store, so typically, there is only one of each item. So if you find something you like buy it because I can guarantee it won't be there when you go back. They have a wide range of styles 90s, Y2K and such are currently in, and they buy vintage items selectively. (No formal wear, no business wear, etc) if you have questions about what they are buying, please call beforehand or check out their Instagram!If you sell items to Avalon, you get 30% of what they will sell the item for or 40% store credit of the list item. Store credit doesn't expire. Don't expect to get what you paid for the item. That isn't how resale works.The only complaint is that since they moved, there is no seating inside to wait for buys anymore.

Leapheeon: Haven't visited since about 7-8 years ago, but I had just as much fun browsing this time around. Lots of fun pieces and for very reasonable prices. Slightly higher prices than a typical thrift store, but the prices were still great and worth paying for what I saw. I picked up a few vintage clothing items and they were in great shape. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're into finding unique and/or vintage clothing!

Kyle Williams: Rush down here to make it on time to sell some clothes, arrived 6 minutes past allowed time, as I literally begged her to buy them because I was in desperate need and she told me "there is nothing she can do." If she was busy I could see but she literally stood there for the next 10 minutes as I watched her do nothing and it was just out of pure laziness she wouldn't take the clothes. I don't write many bad reviews but this is well deserved.

Wildpineapple “I A M N U M B E R O N E” 77: Arch Apparel lies about it believing in equality despite its owner belittling and silencing women of color because they spoke out against their partners. Disgusting and terrible. This company is not one to support and it’s incredibly disingenuous.

People start rethinking their purchases after their knees start to hurt. If yall can't get people out the door in a timely manner you ought to put some chairs or something by the lines.

Eric Eggers: Men's selection is kind of mid. We could barely find any unique pieces. I've been to other Ross's and they usually have some fun finds in the men's section though. Might depend on timing and location. Overall, I love Ross.

Aleta T: Corporate understaffs these stores to up profit margins which means you’re going to stand in line for 30+ minutes while one cashier does all the work & management stands around and does nothing. The shelves are bare because they also expect that one cashier to stock in between sales. Every single time I’m here no matter what time there is a long line because they only have one person working the registers. Either staff the store and pay your employees fair wages or shut down and become online only.

Spirit Journey Artistry: Horrible customer service here… wore shoes for only 2 hours with a bit of dirt on the bottom said couldn’t return. I’m return to another location tomorrow because I have done this before. Tiny bit of dirt shouldn’t make a difference in learning if shoes are comfortable or not. Great condition other than that. Even if this was the case, it’s completely fine. Attitude on the other hand was extremely uncalled for. Not pleasant at all. As a former owner of a business, presentation towards a company is everything.
