Sarah Hobson: Such a warm wonderful shop chock full of great yarns, patterns and knitting/crochet needles. Mary provides lessons and is advanced in every kind of pattern and is helping me reorient to knitting a complex sweater. A little time with her and I am back on track for understanding the gist of it and the next big section of this pattern. I am so grateful! Also, just look for the little yellow house on the hill on Dunn Road. My GPS from North Hanley off of 170 N told to turn right but it was a left turn up the hill and into a driveway just before the yellow house and around back to park. Enjoy!

Catherine Oldt: Just stopped by today for a birthday gift and it's a really sweet shop. The employee there was very knowledgeable and helped me pick out some very soft alpaca yarn. Just note that right now because of covid they are only allowing people in with appointments. I did not know that and still came by but thankfully they had someone cancel on them and could accommodate me. The employee said to make an appointment just call up. Also if you get a little confused like I was, the entrance of the store is the front porch that faces the highway

Jordan Werner: Knowledgeable staff, and more high quality yarn than I would know what do do with. This is the best place to get interchangeable knitting needles! Spinning supplies are limited but high quality for reasonable prices. Highly recommend

Janie Comerio: Samantha is an unprofessional manager. I ordered 2 yards of fabric on line, paid, received my receipt on Email and she couldn't figure out how to do the return. I was waiting for a simple transaction and was in the store for a good twenty five minutes. She was impolite and caused me a lot of time for what should have been a simple transaction. I did everything I was supposed to do. I even had to call this store while I was waiting inside the store at the fabric department for an employee to come and assist me as no one was nearby or in the department to measure my fabric for the return. Just sad on so many levels.

Precious Dela Rosa: I showed up well before close time, and the store was empty and closed when I arrived. Please adhere to your scheduled hours. If you want to go home at a different time, list that as your hours. Change the time on your door and Google. And then close at that time. Not a different time. I’m not trying to tell you what your operating hours should be, I’m just saying be open when you say you’re gunna be open.
Patsy Barnett: It's OK. Prices are high. I asked 2 staff members for spray glue. Each told me a different area, I didn't find it in either place.

Kellye Markowski: Today Joanns has a 20% off coupon for ordering online and picking it up in the store. I used that while in the store, selected the item off the shelf, paid for it online and now I am forced to WAIT. Wait for their system to show I made a purchase. I am told it might be up to an hour until their system reflects the purchase. They can’t look at my receipt showing I made the purchase and apparently their system is snails pace slow. What a HUGE inconvenience to their customers! I’ve done all the work for them but I’m made to WAIT with the product in my cart for their system to work. I wasn’t the only one in the store standing around waiting either! JoAnns should either speed up the electronic process or give everyone 20%!

Barbara Trice: Jo-Ann's is a wonderful place to buy fabrics and crafts, but it always takes you too long to get out of the store because they do not have enough check out personnel. It is always a 20 to 30-minute line, no matter what time of the day it is. If you are on lunch hour you cannot take that amount of time to stand in line. Maybe they need a self checkout line for small items.
