Quilted Fox: what do users think?
Tess Boedeker: I was so happy to find The Quilted Fox today! It's in an unexpected location and not a large store but its well organized with a very nice selection of threads, cutters/blades, and cutting guides/rulers. And there are such beautiful fabrics, all of very good quality! I could really tell that the owner takes pride in her store and values quality over quantity. I've been struggling to find one last fabric for a quilt so I took my swatches to the shop and the three ladies were so nice. They helped me find just the right color. I look forward to shopping there in the future and hope to attend one of their quilting classes as well.
Sally Robinson: Always a delight to visit here. Lots of variety of fabric, some very unusual and interesting. A must visit every time I’m in the area. ♥️
Andrew Smith: Friendly staff. Have great classes
Richard Price: Nice shop with unique selection of fabric.
Lori Long: Sales staff not very friendly.
Helene Fry: Lovely fabrics, but service was awful. Stood at cutting table for 5 minutes while clerk proceeded to restock fabric bolts on cutting table. Clerk never even acknowledged I was standing there. I finally decided I needed no help but asked to have my shop hop passport stamped. Found clerk matching fabric & asked if she would stamp my passport, she said sure. As I was leaving the store she THEN asked if she could help me with something. Terrible customer service.
Darlene Strupp: The website stated they were open until 6:30pm. I drove 50 minutes ( 36 miles) through a rainstorm and crazy traffic to hopefully finding some fabric for a quilt. And the shop has decided to change their hours. Update your website! Even though you are moving close to my son's house, I will not ever return to your store after this horrible experience.
Ronda Taraboletti: Love, love, love the enormous variety of fabrics.
Thecheekyzebra2: This place is quite the little hidden gem. There’s so much uniqueness to choose from with fabrics from designers in other countries to the basic cottons. Staff was friendly and did not hesitate to help! No, I was not greeted right away, but I don’t need to be because I’m an independent adult that could see one person on the phone and the other handling a stack of fabric.
Margo Mensinger: Great selection, good prices, very nice people.
AlanandMichele Klein: What a wonderful shop. Friendly staff. Unique beautiful fabrics which I love!!!
Judith Gauthier: We entered the shop and NOT ONE single person said hello or welcome. We were not acknowledged at all. There wasn't even that much fabric...I actually have more in my own stash. It was hard to find. Very inconveniently located. Then, when we left, we were not acknowledged...no one said good bye or thanks for stopping in. Rudest shop in America.
Kayleen Stingley: Adorable quilt shop!
S Holtsclaw: The ladies were very friendly and helpful! It was a pleasure shopping here and having their advice and expertise. I will return!
Kay Tice: Great selection, helpful staff,😁
Susan Rudie: Very helpful staff great selection of fabric
Monique Degerness: One of my favorite quilt shops. Always visit when I come to St. Louis. Great fabric selection - batiks, Kaffe, Australian, African and wide selection of cottons. The staff has excellent quilting knowledge. Have never left empty handed.
ROGER MARSH: Nice shop. Very expensive material.
Barb Boudreau: Lovely. Lovely place!
Kathy Bandy: They have a large selection of BEAUTIFUL fabrics! The staff is always very helpful!
Calligraphy Foxx: Quaint little shop with all the new fabrics.

Grace Teague: Love Jackman's; always gorgeous materials and the customer service is amazing! Expect to pay a bit more; this is not a budget friendly store- they do have great sale prices when they have them, but with all the options they carry inspiration always jumps into the cart!

JOANN Fabric and Crafts: what do users think?
Janie Comerio: Samantha is an unprofessional manager. I ordered 2 yards of fabric on line, paid, received my receipt on Email and she couldn't figure out how to do the return. I was waiting for a simple transaction and was in the store for a good twenty five minutes. She was impolite and caused me a lot of time for what should have been a simple transaction. I did everything I was supposed to do. I even had to call this store while I was waiting inside the store at the fabric department for an employee to come and assist me as no one was nearby or in the department to measure my fabric for the return. Just sad on so many levels.
Mikayla L.: Quiet, easily accessible store, under stocked but quiet a pleasant location. Always check the back of the store for clearance!
Alessandra Abate: They have everything you need for crafting needs
Mr. and Mrs. Linnenbom: Rude clerks who have no time for customers. They really need customer training there badly. We'll never shop there again, that's for sure! What a sad, dismal lot of employees! The morale is deplorable.
Monica H: Had what we were looking for and it was on sale. Checkout went quick.
Grace Teague: Frustrating that the inventory is not up to date at all. Not sure why it's difficult to get an accurate inventory when everything is online, but I ended up only getting half of what I wanted despite checking inventory and placing a pickup order before leaving - not wasting my time driving to other stores, just order online.
Curt Balding: It has everything you could possibly expect from a fabric supply store.
Suzie irwin: Worst customer service. Went for an item that it said they had online. Couldn’t find the item, asked an employee for help and was told it is in the back and to check back next week. Called and talked to manager, Gabby, and she basically told me to order it online.
Terry Leible: Use your coupons to get the best deals.
Steve (Burnindaylight): Big store with small prices, Huge fabric selections and all types of sewing accessories. A perfect one stop sewing shop. You can even use their website to check in store availibility. Using their website plus your imagination does make it an one stop shop.
Kimberly Teague: Cute store. Such cool crafts
Laurel Wagner: The fabric selection was great and the cutter was helpful.
Precious Dela Rosa: I showed up well before close time, and the store was empty and closed when I arrived. Please adhere to your scheduled hours. If you want to go home at a different time, list that as your hours. Change the time on your door and Google. And then close at that time. Not a different time. I’m not trying to tell you what your operating hours should be, I’m just saying be open when you say you’re gunna be open.
Patsy Barnett: It's OK. Prices are high. I asked 2 staff members for spray glue. Each told me a different area, I didn't find it in either place.
cathy spengemann: Things are pretty pricey these days. This store has a lot of merchandise. Employees friendly but I did not have coupons!
Daniel Barnes: Halloween stock was low. Crafts are nice.
Shona Phillips: Their Quilting & Cosplay fabric sections have increased quite a bit, fun to see! Prices have stayed relatively the same, even better to see!!
Ross Just a guy: Nice store, nice people
Shannon O’Keefe: Staff was very helpful when I couldn’t find what I needed!
Emmy Dimes: These 5 stars are for Demarco! Thanks for the convo during check out and staying positive! Enjoy your frozen dinner, hope your break comes soon!Demarco needs a raise

Anatol's Fabric Outlet (House Fabrics): what do users think?
Kelsey Rogers: I have ordered linen fabric from house fabric multiple times! Always great quality and great customer service!! Number one choice for linen!
Grace Teague: Worth checking out what they have; great deals on price, you never know what you might find
Jennifer Verbic: Fantastic! I do not live in the area, but they make distance shopping a true pleasure! FABULOUS customer service! All of my products were as described and the sample pack is awesome too. If you are hesitant to shop this company online, don’t be. I will definitely be a return customer!
Stephanie Stephens: The customer service at Anatol's/House Fabric is by far some of the best I've seen. I've ordered multiple times and if there were ever issues with shipping or availability I got the best, personal service from their team and great solutions as well. Recently I needed samples quick for something and when a few I requested weren't available they took the time to provide their own suggestions based on what I had asked for. They were on the mark! I can't say enough good things and won't ever use another company. They are my go to.
Carolyn Torrance: The gorgeous fabric I ordered came quickly and was a complete run-no pieceing-covering both my couch and loveseat. The times I talked to Anatol's personally-they could not have been nicer! Then, after I received my order, they called me to see if I was happy with my order! Wow! Yes, I was! My upholsterers told me if I decided I did not want my pieces they wanted to buy them! The fabric was exactly what I wanted-couldn't be happier with it! And, with Anatol's!❤
Agnes AJ: I just arrived at this business for my very first visit which I was very excited about. Upon entering, I was asked if I had a mask which I replied very politely "no, I do not". The gentleman offered a mask to me and I politely declined and left, 10 seconds after entering. St Louis county no longer has a mask mandate and although I know it is their right to require a mask, I think it's absolutely ridiculous. They don't care if you've been vaccinated or not! I will never shop here as long as this stupid mask requirement is in effect.
Art of Healing: They didn’t have what I needed but they were very helpful and informative
Peggy Turner: Wonderful shop with huge selection!!
Karen Masbruch: If you're looking for upholstery fabrics, they have a small amount of fabric available off the shelf. If you're looking for upholstery fabrics to order, it might be good. If you're looking for apparel fabrics, forget it. Atmosphere is not welcoming. I'll stick to fabric shopping in Minnesota!
JG Sewing & Leather LLC: Thank you for helping all my customers & people the we sent to you.Thank you again.JG
Dave David: Awesome, huge, best selection of fabric in town. Is sooo much better than the other well known fabric/craft chain store!
Joanne Mittelbuscher: It would have been nice if they would have posted that you could not come and after driving 30 miles I was disappointed.
Katie Parrack: Drove quite a distance to shop in the store and they are closed, although the internet and website says they are open. When I called I was told to order samples online and offered no apology. I understand keeping your employees safe however it is your responsibility to communicate that to the public. Very, very disappointed.
T LL: A variety of lovely enhancing life/decor changing attentive to details fabric selections for sale. Customers have the freedom browse without sales pressure, if needed a fabric sales representative is readily available to kindly assist.
Nancy Minnick: Been here many times. Great prices and selection with helpful staff.
Jim Dawson: Great place for fabric, great staff
Lotus Auriel: Love this place.
Alice Williams: Best Fabric
Shannon Bordeaux: It's hard to get service.
CYNTHIA DEMOSS: Really love Anatols
Kitty Birch: Very good professional service.

JOANN Fabric and Crafts: what do users think?
debbie apponey: Clearly JoAnns has no interest in supplying garment sewers. Who needs that much fleece and fannel?
Susan Missey: This store has a great selection in all departments. The staff has always been friendly and helpful.
Jenna Hertlein: Good prices and super friendly and helpful employees!
Sam Reed: Poor customer service
Emily Brands: My go-to place for fabric and cosplay supplies! They're a tad more expensive than Walmart fabric, but their selection and variety can't be beat! Plus they always have coupons online so it definitely makes up for the price difference!Staff are always kind and friendly, never had an issue with them.
Leone Shurn (Designs by Leone): Love this store, always friendly and polite.
Kim: Good prices and can always find new craft ideas to do with my kids
Emily S Frohner: First time visiting and quite impressed with the selection of various fabrics.
Jan: So much to look at and lots of sales!
Mary Hettenhausen: Counter help wasn't very helpful.. vei poor selection of stock for crochet materials.
Ruth Pope: 1 sales clerk was very rude!!!!I don't usually say that because I know some people are overworked so I try to give them a benefit of doubt. But she was very, very rude.
Margarita Welch (Margie): Always seem to take forever with everything they have
Kellye Markowski: Today Joanns has a 20% off coupon for ordering online and picking it up in the store. I used that while in the store, selected the item off the shelf, paid for it online and now I am forced to WAIT. Wait for their system to show I made a purchase. I am told it might be up to an hour until their system reflects the purchase. They can’t look at my receipt showing I made the purchase and apparently their system is snails pace slow. What a HUGE inconvenience to their customers! I’ve done all the work for them but I’m made to WAIT with the product in my cart for their system to work. I wasn’t the only one in the store standing around waiting either! JoAnns should either speed up the electronic process or give everyone 20%!
Tina James: Love the quality of the material and the prices and choices!
Barbara Trice: Jo-Ann's is a wonderful place to buy fabrics and crafts, but it always takes you too long to get out of the store because they do not have enough check out personnel. It is always a 20 to 30-minute line, no matter what time of the day it is. If you are on lunch hour you cannot take that amount of time to stand in line. Maybe they need a self checkout line for small items.
patricia lipe: Didn't shop here but a good place to visit for clothing and sewing notions material and projects
Alessandra Abate: They have everything I need
Becky Falls: Got 80% off Christmas items so I got a blow up gnome ×3 and that 40% off regular priced item for my fabric
Darlene Dilbeck: The yarn and crochet hook section was nearly gone! It's the first time I've seen the cupboard so bare! I guess the sale worked!
Karen St. John: It was good I just thought there sticker selection was bad and the stickers they did have were overpriced
Mike Johnson: Wow. Whole time I talked with a clerk felt as if they wanted me to go. Most unwelcome I’ve ever felt shopping.

Jackman's Fabrics: what do users think?
Nicholas Novosel: great brother repair service sale people were kind of slow to get their attention but where nice and helpful
M S: Wow, where do I start? I shop at Jackman's from time to time and there's nice fabric and gorgeous prints of fabric in the home decor department. The store could use some updating because as soon as you walk in that carpet is so dated looking that it should be replaced with hardwood flooring. Actually, the entire store should be updated/renovated. I was shocked that the parking lot had a makeover which was long overdue. I'm also disappointed that they sell Floriani software, but don't offer the classes to learn it, so why sell a product if you aren't offering the classes on it, make it make sense. Also, why not offer classes for home decor? I have also shopped at other local sewing and fabric shops in the area, and I will say one has ethnic and exotic prints that other stores lack. It would be nice if Jackman's can offer a nice variety of ethnic and Asian prints as well. I will say Patricia is very friendly and helpful and will go out the way to answer any questions you may have. She greets you with a welcoming smile. I hope Jackman's will plan on having home decor classes for the upcoming year.
Caroline Lauschke: Susan was soo helpful! This was my first time attempting to reupholster our bed and she helped me with the whole process. Could not recommend her or this store more.
Donald Harris: I've shopped here for over 20 years and always have had a wonderful experience. Hopefully today is not an indication of things to come. Supervisor "Betty". Older lady decided to but in on a younger clerk and told her she could not measure a piece of fabric I was inquiring about. After she had fully scared the nice cleerk she started in on me. I would have nothing to do with that. Hopefully she learned. Now that I think about it this has happened several times in this store. The older lady decides to but in and demean the younger clerk right in front of the customer.
Linda Schneider: Good... very nice store & niceemployees.
Sally Cray: The variety of fabrics at Jackman's is fantastic! Everyone was so helpful, too!
Kimberly Tremmel: Great customer service and lots of beautiful Fabrics to see! Beautiful displays of amazing quilts!!
Ahner’s Florist & Greenhouses: I ran into Jackmann‘s today, and I was greeted by one of the warmest sales person there Patricia!! She has waited on me several times and her knowledge of her department is outstanding. As a designer sometimes I’m not sure what I’m looking for but she’s always willing to help me search for the right fabric!!Thank you Patricia for the great service and you have a wonderful personality I always enjoy seeing your smiling face there!!
Antwoinette Netta Ayers: I love went to Jackmans because I was referred to them but I didn’t will not go back to this location . I was in the store for a quite 10 minutes and no one offered help or a hello. And workers walked passed me😩
William Shirley (Bill): Lots of fabric and other products. Helpful employees. A place to go if you need that type of things.
Judy Strotheide: Just had a class with Jan and it was fabulous.
Yvonne Hayes: Absolutely love Jackman's Fabrics. Not only do they have lots and lots of fabric but they have finished quilts hanging above/behind the fabrics bolts used for the quilt, and the pattern for it. When I need inspiration I go to Jackman's.
Alexander Heck: Jackman's is the place to go if you are looking for a huge selection coupled with great customer service. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable and it is very apparent why this family owned business has been in operation for 119 years. Would highly Recommend over similar chain stores.
Paula Dahn: I normally do not give reviews but I am so upset that I feel that the public should know how I have been treated. First of all for me to travel to the store it is about an hour drive for me. I purchased an embroidery/sewing machine July of 2020 the purchase was $10,000.00. The day I made the purchase the staff couldn’t have been any nicer. Since then I have to say the staff’s attitudes have changed. I was in the store to pick up two additional feet that I had purchased and learned that I had life time classes on my machine. I scheduled a class in September 2021 and went to it and the instructor (not going to say any names but I have all of them written down) was extremely helpful and very nice. When I left I scheduled another class later in the month. I was in the area the week I was to have my next class and stopped in to grab some material and just wanted to confirm my class. The instructor I had was there and said no I am not working that day and the class would have to be cancelled. She went to ask a supervisor remember I am standing there and can hear and see this supervisor. The supervisor said very loudly I don’t have time for this I am getting ready for an event this weekend. She will just have to reschedule. What has happened to customer service??? The instructor said she would call me with a new date. Still waiting for this call. In the meantime I have been getting promotions from Brother on the newest brother machine and called in September 2021 to inquire if your store accepted trade in’s on new machines. I was told yes and they would call me back took my information and would talk with the owner. Never heard back. Called again on October 27th the same lady said oh my gosh I was supposed to call you back I am so sorry. I promise I will call you back first thing in the morning. The following day I never received a call back to I called again around 4:00 I got the same lady that was very rude before and said she is getting ready for a big even this weekend and can’t come to the phone the earliest you will get a call back with be on Monday. I said that is fine because the promotion end on Monday and I guess you really don’t want to sell me a machine. She promised I would get all the promotions that was offered. I still have not heard from them. I am so disappointed in this store!!
Jo Noyb: Great place if you are into fabrics and stuff. They have a huge variety you can choose from. The staff are very nice and very helpful, giving great advises and suggestions, also from their own experience.
Patricia Welsch: Excellent store, selection and staff. Highly recommend this place. Visit them whenever in town.
Debra Pike Wilson: Not accommodating for walkers. Short staffed in Upholstery side. Left without purchasing.
Sandra Wessels: Very knowledgeable ladies about fabric projects. A special shout out to Jan thank you
Louise Morgan: I brought someone here who needed help buying a Christmas present for a quilter in his life. Paula was incredibly patient and helpful. I know he really appreciated it!
Jean Cooper: Wonderful staff very helpful.
Bre Kruger: My mom and I had a terrible experience at this location. The store has a nice variety of high-quality fabrics, but the staff here doesn't seem capable of assisting customers with non-traditional fabric projects. The two women trying to help us were intrusive and rude. Several times they interjected their opinions as we were talking amongst ourselves, and several times we told them that we knew what we wanted and weren't looking for their opinion. We finally had to leave when the associate told me that the choice I was considering would look "terrible," and "that's not how you style a quilt."We ended up buying our fabric needs from the Jackman's in St. Louis - the project turned out beautifully, very bohemian and exactly what I pictured.I would only recommend the Fairview location if you have a traditional/country/calico style, or you enjoy being harassed and talked down to by the old ladies that work here.
