The Last Hotel STL: what do users think?
Mary Avalon: The hotel is really cool and the beds are incredibly comfortable although for some reason they had two flat sheets and no fitted sheet. The air conditioning is so loud that it wakes you up at night rattling. I'm traveling with a bunch of other military people and it was the same for everyone else, not just my room. While I understand it was out of their control, there was an emergency fire alarm because somebody decided to smoke in their room. This happened at 1:030 in the morning. I ended up oversleeping and I asked the manager if he would please comp me a breakfast because I missed the breakfast at my event sleeping through my alarm after finally falling back asleep. All together I understand that he's under no obligation but it would have been nice to not go through the first part of my day hungry.
Steve Raimondi: I had a reservation for Saturday night. They sent me txts earlier in the day confirming my stay. I arrived around 5:00 and they told me my reservation was canceled due to a pricing glitch. No notification, no willingness to help, the only option they gave was to rebook it for a significantly higher price. The woman up front was not helpful at all. She said I should have been notified earlier in the day. I showed her the only communication I had was them confirming my reservation. I even responded to them confirming it. She just said nothing she could do.
Jamie Toby: Beautiful unique industrial decor! The restaurant was great the steak and potatoes was one of the best I've ever had with the gorgonza butter! Loved our date nite experience here!!!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet …More
Brandon Ratliff: I booked the room on Monday for the upcoming Saturday on their website everything was fine until the day of I receive the email saying that they computer gave me the wrong price and they cancelled my room 30 minutes before I was supposed to be there to check in everything went through on the computer I received the email time to come check in they left a number to call I called plenty of times the voicemail is full like no one's never checked it I would never recommend this to nobody my job always do business there and I definitely will be letting them know to find somewhere else
Catherine Im: The staff here were amazing I every interaction I had with them. The rooms were unfortunately very dusty and likely only given a cursory clean. I was missing all toiletries (including hand soap!) and found shimmery makeup on the sink. My nose was instantly stuffy when in the room, and the tops of the green curtains were almost gray from dust. in addition, I think the ceiling was crumbling onto the bed. On the bed, directly underneath some black spots on the ceiling, were black particles. The final negative is that they only provide a stool for the desk.Otherwise, the room was spacious and had a great view from the tall windows, and the bed was very comfortable.
Peter Capano: Wonderful staff, the rooftop pool, and the pub in the fabulous lobby add up to a great experience at The Last HotelRooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Norma Arnold: Beautiful hotel, fabulous amenities, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Washington street is packed full of restaurants and bars. Not to mention the city museum is around the corner so there is a lot within walking distance. The only downside is parking. It’s a city atmosphere so it comes with city parking challenges. You can vallet park for $50/day or use the public parking in an open lot across the street for $30. They obviously don’t tell you this before you book so it’s something extra to consider. With that said, I’d stay here again anytime and If you’re in the STL area and need a quality place to stay, give this hotel a try.
Poe Castillo: Very cool place. Valet parking was nice. Wish there was more to do and see around the hotel. Short 10 minute walk to Busch Stadium. The rooms were very comfortable. Unfortunately our TV didn't work, but no big deal!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More

Justin Wisniewski: Overall the experience was good. I had did have one bad experience where the guy at the front desk gave people the room that I was staying in and they just keyed their way right into my room. He was quick to apologize but it was still awkward. The pool was the defining feature of this hotel ! Definitely worth a visit.Rooms: Rooms had a nice style, with a cozy feel.
James Ziglinski: Dirty room. Hair and dust everywhere, fingerprints on tv, scuffs and brown streaks on all walls. Had a dirty towel with a brown stain and someones hair folded up among the clean towels. No robes as shown in pictures.Rooftop bar was closed and atmosphere was absolutely dead.Housekeeping entered our room without being requested while were gone. The next day housekeeping barged into the room again without being requested or even knocking. We were showering and getting dressed. Totally unacceptable.Pretty sketchy part of town. I was approached and asked for money every time we walked down the block. I saw someone checking car doors right in front of the building. Saw a fight at the bus stop around the corner at 2 in the afternoon. That's not the businesses fault, but worth noting. Not a safe place to be.We left as fast as we could for an actual 4 star hotel, this place is a 3 on a good day. I would not go back, even if it was free.In hindsight, the name of the place tells all. This is the last hotel you should stay at in the Lou.
michelle rindal: First of all, I just want to say, I do not seek any kind of compensation by leaving this review. This is 10000% honest, and I am leaving it here as a warning for other people traveling to STL. I will say, I think the place is a cute idea, and was excited to stay here. The execution if it, though, needs some work. I would be leaving 1star, but the front desk staff overall seemed quite nice. if it wasnt for that, I would absolutely be saying 1 Star. There were some serious issues here:1. "The last rooftop" was not as expected or promised. The bar is still closed for the season even though the website says otherwise. The pool itself and the whole rooftop is quite dirty. We spent all of 5 minutes there before we left because of how dirty it was.2. Another example of things not being expected as promised- no bathrobes or minibar in the room. When I found this hotel, I had a filter that included those with parking included. This does NOT include parking. It's valet and it's $40/night or you can take your chances with street and other public parking.3. Cleanliness. Our room was actually pretty dirty. There were carpet stains, towels with hair and makeup on them still, the comforter had stains, grimy surfaces, and I had to wipe my feet anytime I walked across the carpet because there would be hair and other stuff stuck on my feet.4.Housekeeping. there is no way to opt-out of housekeeping. There's no 'do not disturb signs' or anything, so we had thought it would be service by request, as many hotels do. Well, BOTH days the housekeepers came in. The 1st, we were gone and they refreshed towels and nothing else and it made us uncomfortable to know someone was in there. The second was at 10am on the morning of checkout (checkout is at 11). The housekeeper DIDNT KNOCK. Literally just barged in while we were getting ready (showering, getting dressed).5. The last thing is that this really isn't a 4-star hotel. It's a cool concept. But, it's super expensive for the lack of things they actually deliver. Even the toiletries (shampoo and soap) are super low quality. I know that part is the least important, but it adds to all of it- this whole place is badly managed and just a money grab. it has no business being a 4-star.Rooms: The rooms look nice from the pictures, but they were not clean and did not have bathrobes or a minibar.Nearby activities: It is right in downtown, which is great, except the downtown vibe has gone downhill. It is very close to city museum so that's nice.Safety: This was not a safe location. There was sketchy behavior right outside that we dealt with every time we left the hotel. The non-valet parking is very unsecured as well.Walkability: You can definitely walk around to downtown, but it can be risky to do so.
Eve: Ive had two maids walk in on me naked! Even with the privacy thing on door! There is no parking you literally have to pay parking every two hours on the meters unless you find a parking blocks away, It is a beautiful hotel though
Jon Scott: The hotel is so cool. It used to be a shoe factory. Old hardwood, exposed beams. Very nice... City museum is right behind it. Great for the kids.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Stephanie Spencer: Orlando & Marvin went above and beyond during our stay and were the ultimate professionals, welcoming & helpful at all times. The food at La Cucina is simply amazing! Had the fried cauliflower, goat cheese & gooey cake. Hat's off to Chef Montrell Jones! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting St. Louis.Room is very nicely appointed with modern upgrades while retaining the charm & architecture of the original building.
Tim McGrail: This hotel advertises themselves as 4 stars but the current experience is more similar to a 2 star hotel. This hotel needs help. The owner seems combative in the reviews so if they respond to me, know that I cannot respond back on this system. Everything I am saying is my honest review after staying there for 5 nights.-Valet is unavailable 11pm-7am DAILY-Even when valet is available, unlike other 4 star hotels I stay at where there are MULTIPLE valets outside ready to help, nobody was outside at all, and it seemed 1 valet was stuck with full responsibilities-Online room service was broken and giving me an error. I called the restaurant downstairs twice. No answer. And their voicemail was full so obviously this has been an issue for a while lol.-After the above I called the front desk who said they'd have someone call me back to take my order. Nobody ever called back. I had to eat elsewhere.-The fridge in the room does not stay cold enough to properly keep your foods-Room was dirty on arrival and obviously not professionally cleaned. I did have the maids clean my room once halfway through my stay and that time the room was MUCH cleaner.-Obviously short staffed in ALL ASPECTS of the hotelThis hotel has potential and I hope that the owner takes these comments seriously. I'm simply being honest. I want you to get better. You can fix the above issues. No excuses. Just progress.
Rachel Peterson: The Last Hotel is great! Beautiful rooms, nice service and a decent location. I would highly recommend if you're staying in downtown STL. It's much better than the generic chains in STL and I've stayed at a few.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Hotel Saint Louis, Autograph Collection: what do users think?
Alonzo Jones: Upon arrival entering the room there was a 1/25 of toilet paper amongst two adults. To my surprise there were no additional toilet paper. fancy hotel with TVs in the bathrooms, but then I soon find the telephones didn't work. In addition to that I could not control my own temperature (It was chilly) that also did not function. On the following day I come step out of my room to find piles of the linens from the room next door in front of my hotel room door. Vacuum that was stashed also adjacent to room. I then express my concerns with the staffing downstairs once w "Shanae", then another w "Crystal". It took me 3 staff members (a gentleman off the clock) at almost 11pm at night to finally retrieve any of my concerns met. Before leaving this review I requested a call back from management "Drummond Riles" on 2 different occasions..Nothing.. So here you go Hotel Saint Louis...
Larry Rhines: I loved working there it's got the quality and professional standards that are second to none. I would also like the thank everyone I met there for the experience and dedication that is put in everyday by those there.
Matthew McKinney: Poor service, particularly for an autograph collection property. Left a message with a manager after being redirected by frontline staff (who were wonderful) and did not receive any follow up. Staff at desk were great, rooms and location were nice. Lobby outside the guest rooms were dirty with trash and old cleaning supplies left out on the floor. Would try one of the many other options in the city/would not return.
Carolyn Adams: This was my first time staying at this location and I absolutely loved everything from the people,,to the rooms,to dinner reception.. We had a balcony room which I loved and I also love that they have a rooftop bar and pool.Rooms: The rooms were absolutely gorgeous. Even came with the old school record player with the records.Food & drinks: They have a rooftop bar and grill where you can get drinks and order appetizers.
QB B: Really cool historic hotel...walk back in time to the 1920s...Art Deco, and tons of ornate historic character.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Joshua Knepper: The rooms are large and nicely upgraded. The staff is incredibly helpful. Within walking distance of the Arch, convention center and lots of restaurants.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Peter Jackson: It’s a great hotel. Clean, recently remodeled. I have had a lot of trouble getting room service delivered.
Robert Hillman: As far as the rooms go, they're really neat. The building is really cool. The front desk staff and bar staff are really professional and knowledgeable. Loved having a record player in the room. I did place a room service order at 1015pm (the website when you scan the barcode in the room says it's open until 11) and waited until 1115 for anything to show. Nothing did. Called them downstairs and was told it actually closes at 10. Maybe update your website or at least have it not allow you to put the order through or even give me a notification that it didnt go through. Otherwise a really nice place.
Daniel Molinares: Spacious rooms, excellent attention from the staff, they have EV chargers if you valet your car.
Bill Love: It's an awesome pet friendly property. It so hard to travel with an adult German Shepherd but we stayed there with no problems!I give the location 3 stars only because it St Louis- the hotel is close to the Arch and sports venues but it's still St Louis.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Clayton Russell: This place is a gem in St. Louie!Really cool building, right in the middle of the city. Hotel staff are fantastic and the rooms are eclectic and a really good size.Bar on the rooftop is a great addition and they just really took care of us here.Highly Recommend
Cem Goral: Loved this hotel.

The Westin St. Louis: what do users think?
Zohaib Jabbar: Came here due to a work event. Thought the place was really nice, clean and spacious and the front desk people even nicer. I stayed here for almost a week. I really didn't require any house cleaning so I can't comment on that. The location is great as it's right next to the metro and right across the street from Busch Stadium and ballpark village. Many options here to eat!I highly recommend staying at this hotel!
Aaron Heard: I stayed at the hotel for a week for business. I don’t recommend this hotel for this purpose.Reception and bar staff were fantastic; however house keeping was atrocious - the room was poorly serviced, the bed was never made properly (the cover sheet was pulled over, not made) the room itself was basic. After day three I permanently put my ‘do not disturb’ sign as I refused to tip for poor service. The neighbourhood is not safe after hours, so many Uber drivers told us not to leave the hotel at night.I can only recommend this hotel if you’re staying overnight for a ball game. There are many other options in nearby neighbourhoods.
Russ Hammock: We had a great stay at the downtown St Louis Westin. It was what we expected from a Westin hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms, good food and great service. However, one thing sets this hotel apart from most others I've encountered.... the hospitality of the staff was absolutely above and beyond measure. Not to knock most hotels we stay at because most have friendly staff, but friendly only scratches the surface at this hotel. Everyone we encountered from the valets, to the front desk staff, to the restaurant staff, to the housekeeping staff and others, went out of their way to help us, to remember us, to ask us how are day was, etc. The hotel management clearly makes hospitality a major priority. Well, I guess I've made my point, but if anyone from the hotel reads this I'll just end this review with a huge thank you to every employee we had the honor to meet at the Westin St Louis.
Sofia L.: The bathroom was nice and spacious, the bed was good, the lobby looked nice BUT, the room carpet was dirty, the bar in the lobby was closed and they wouldn’t bring a microwave to the room! We had to go to the hallway and warm up food we brought from the outside. The property was beautiful but it needs a lot of improvement and maintenance. The downtown area was lonely, the area around the Hilton a few blocks down has more stuff open and things going on.
Benjamin Prijatel: To be fair, I have never stayed at this hotel. However, I was attempting to make a reservation. After one unanswered email and three unreturned phone calls, I was able to speak to someone in the sales department who was not interested in my business. If this is any indication of the service they provide, it is probably a good thing that I'm not staying here. I will be staying next door at the Loews in July.
Brookshire International: The bathroom was so dirty. The valet left my luggage behind the counter after i walked through the huge hotel for 30 minutes lost because i was so far away from the elevator it was ridiculous. The phone didn't work when i tried to call downstairs and I just hated it. It is the Only Westin I have ever stayed in that gave motel 6 vibes. Just awful.
Tim Krumm: Good location fine staffRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly …More
G Suarez: We planned a family weekend in St Louis. We were excited to stay at the Westin in Jr King Suite with plenty of room. The location was good and a short walk to most of what STL has to offerThe lobby is nice and the hotel is in a good location directly to the West of Busch Stadium and near a Metro Stop.A few issues1. We were given a suite facing South overlooking a parking lot. That location seems to be the popular spot for overnight hangouts and general noise. Very loud and one would have thought with a lightly filled hotel that more thought would have been given to room assignment.2 Although the hotel was recently updated, our room was dusty and there was not a lot of thought put into outlet locations or even how shower doors open. A lot of missed opportunities to really bring the hotel into the 2020s3 Front desk staff was barely there. We used the chat feature and they never replied. I went down to the desk to resolve my issues but had to look around for someone to help.4. We used the sofa sleeper and the bag of sheets and blankets was in the room but missing all the bags and blankets. A little frustrating after a long day with everyone just wanting to get to bed.5. The TV interface was painfully slow.I expected a bit more from the Westin and this is my 2nd stay at a recently updated property where the update seemed to have fell short
Beth Remillong: Great location for baseball games. Rooms are newly renovated, very clean and nice. Staff are super friendly, even when things are really busy. The bar was hopping on Cards opening day!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Lindsay Ward: First, let me say the staff was very friendly and welcoming! The room was decent upon walking in, however upon further inspection, there was some kind of food stain on the chair. There was blood stains on the bed spread and the carpet was frayed. My family did not get any sleep both nights we stayed due to people outside doing burn outs on the street below. A car with a loud muffler drove by several times till 3:00 in the morning. This is not the hotel's fault, but frustrating nonetheless.Great location to all things downtown if you can overlook the things listed above.
Bret Ward: Worst Hotel Stay Ever!!!!First the bad, so you won't overlook it. My wife, 7 year old , and I got ZERO sleep. That's not an exaggeration! Our room was in the smaller building facing 9th street and there is a Sports Bar on the corner of 9th and Spruce that stays open till 3 am. Which is not the end of the world, but apparently, it's popular for the locals to do burnouts and rev their car engines in front of there. I'm a car guy, so I know cars, and these were extremely loud, like they have open exhaust. They did this till after 3 am. Then, apparently, it's also popular to lay on your car horn, nonstop, as your leaving the bar. Then there was also the normal young bar crowd screaming and yelling at the top of their lungs outside all night. We stayed two nights and this happened both nights and the second night this went on tIll after 5 am. The car exhaust noise also echoes off the tall buildings so it's popular for people to rev their engines for blocks all around and that is pretty much non stop at night too.The good. The hotel staff is friendly and courteous. The room itself was good enough. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. I didn't like the down pillows that squish flat after a short time. The property is located close to a lot of things, so that was nice.Overall, I probably wouldn't stay here again due to the noise, but hey, if you will be out partying till early morning, this would probably be great for you.
Janelle Hunt: Location amazing, the rooms are huge and nicely updated!

The Cheshire: what do users think?
Hollie: While we absolutely loved the theming and charm of this hotel, the cleanliness needs to be addressed. We were in room 332 and there was dust on everything! There were dust bunnies clinging to the ceiling, the furniture, and layers of caked dust along the baseboards, behind the bed, and in the bathroom around the vanity/cabinet. The whole place desperately needs to be thoroughly deep cleaned from top to bottom. It also seems a little tired - like it's starting to need some updates. The "frosting" on the glass on the bathroom door is starting to disintegrate, carpets are starting to tatter, flags on the front of the hotel lobby/entrance are shredded and dirty, etc. The whole place needs some love - with a deep cleaning and updates, it could be fantastic.
Madelize McCandless: Nobody answers the phone! Then when they finally did they hung upRooms: 3/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Matt Bollinger: Family and I Just shared a holiday weekend with Folks at the Cheshire. We were in town for wedding and our stay could not have been better. Hotel clean, People super friendly, rooms so cool. Each one named after famous English Author or character. Fox and Hounds on site bar makes you feel like your lost in an old English novel a hundred years ago. By all means, it will be the only place I stay when in STL.Food & drinks: Fox and Hounds... super cool bar
Sean Ingle: Don't forget to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking any place. This website will compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in the area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you definitely won't be disappointed.Very nice place to stay, all the staff we encountered were just fantastic, friendly, helpful and a delight to speak with. They even have an adult and kids scavenger hunt which we did. If you like or are into British poets authors or playwrights or just like that atmosphere definitely a cool place to stay. We'll be back for sure
Steve Hobick: Our previous stays at the Cheshire have been good. This time began bad when I asked for new towels and cleaning the trash. I was told they couldn’t do it that day, but would do it tomorrow. The next day no one came. Then my wife called the front desk. The man that answered was unprofessional and clueless. My wife asked for towels and cleaning the trash. He brought two towels and trash bags. After pulling the bag from the bathroom trash, it smelled like urine. He mentioned the help wasn’t very good. I had a thought, if not why doesn’t management fix it. New ownership or management doesn’t seem to care. As for our family, we will NOT go back to the Cheshire.Noteworthy details: First three stays greatThis one was badWont be back
roland boguszewski: Called the front desk on our 2nd day as we set our used towels next to the room door in the hallway that morning. Housekeeping never gave us new towels or even picked up the dirty ones. The guy at the front desk didn't answer the phone, so I walked to the front myself only to find him standing at the desk, ignoring the phone ringing while I watched. My wife got physically sick after eating the fish at the motel pub.If you have difficulty walking, don't park in the downstairs parking garag. There is no elevator until you are on the 1st floor. So unload your luggage at the front entrance.
Andrew Bobrowiecki: Had to change rooms because the bath tub was dirty. Doors were busted and scraped. Staff was great, but for the price ($300/night) would not stay here again.
MsStingFan: Very close to where I needed to be. Excellent service in boutique hotelRooms: Very clean and quaint with book themeFood & drinks: Fox and Hound charming Lond pub style place. Dark booths but can play games.
Jonathan Kraft: Didn't stay here but went to pick up some family who were staying here. What I loved about walking into this place was all the unique names and decor, and the location close to Concordia Seminary. That part was great for older family members who needed to be somewhere close.

Nysha Nelson: The Cheshire is a really unique property with loads of charm and character. Direct out of an sweeping English Drama the rich woods, antiques and eclectic accessories fulfill the fantasy. The staff was kind and helpful. The restaurant, The Fox and Hound had a limited menu but our choices of Bangers and Mash along with Shepherd’s Pie (actually cottage pie made with beef as opposed to lamb.) was tasty.Breakfast was carb laden — not great for anyone gluten sensitive but there were berries and some apples and bananas. As for the room — this is where the accommodations start to fall short. The room was nice enough. Kept refreshed for a property that is sixty some years old. The bathroom has been updated recently. Though why the light switch was across the room from the door under a towel seems an oversight. Not even an illuminated switch to help one find it.The mattress was decent. The pillows however were more the size of a lumbar pillow rather than a bed pillow. The headboard was attractive but uncomfortable to lean against. There was a gap between the headboard and mattress that eat the pillows. The base of the bed is much larger than the mattress and bruised a shin bad enough for an ice pack to be needed for the evening.Nice enough and interesting yet the next time I am heading to St. Louis I will go elsewhere.
Lu Ann Flechsig: We enjoyed the breakfast every morning. Great coffee, fresh fruit, eggs and sausage, plus hashed browns (not every day with the hashed browns. Muffins, toast, bagels and pastries. Croissants one of those days. Only thing was that one of the days, instead of separate scrambled eggs and sausage, they mixed them, which left vegetarians with essentially nothing warm to eat. Room was decent, but the bed posts were killing us. We both managed to bang them several times, and I see in other posts that it wasn't just us. I think they need to pad them.:-) The downside was that there wasn't a microwave or fridge in the room. You could request a fridge (I wish they would have mentioned that more clearly when we booked) but they are limited in number and when we asked, none were available. The restaurant right next door was convenient. Public is seated one floor down, so no windows, and quite dark. The main floor is for events I believe. Reminded me of Cheers with the big center bar, but I would have preferred a little bit more light. I think they used gas lighting/lamps. Food was good. It's literally a block from the freeway entrance and exit so it was very convenient for us. There was a gas station on the other side of the restaurant and a little Chinese takeout restaurant that we tried. It was ok. Very old school Chinese food. Where we live there are many great Chinese restaurants so it was just ok. Very nice owners.

Al Di: There's a few really nice employees working there but there's one manager or I don't know who she is that constantly is scowling at you, she gave me a dirty look two times I ask for something. My nephew is in the ICU would have been nice to be treated nicely and kindly my family was going through a lot and to be given dirty looks each time i left and spent 700 dollars for 4 days stay. I also think it needs a good cleaning its really dusty and dirty the girl wiped our breakfast table crumbs onto out chairs it was strange the pillows are flat like pancakes for the prices you would think they could afford new pillows. I got one last eye roll for the road ya I saw it when I walked out the door. We didn't do anything to be treated so badly we didn't ask for a room cleaning nothing so why is it they think its ok to treat us poorly because they think we can't see it? Get out of the hospitality business

Angad Arts Hotel: what do users think?
Tayler Bertelsman: The rooftop bar is great! Its nicely decorated (like the rest of the hotel), has great views, good drinks, and good music.
Stephanie Renz: Arts district. Very avante gard. Staff very helpful and willing to help. PS lobby is on the 12th floor. All rooms are King.Nearby activities: Right in the middle of the Art district. Fox Theater right across the street. Several restaurants and SLU right in the area
Kloe Duncan: Only giving five stars so this can be at the top. My group was super excited to go to the rooftop bar and the bartender, Courtney was so rude to my group. We ordered a charcuterie board, and a couple drinks. 40 minutes later no charcuterie board, and no drinks. We hadn’t been checked on once. Finally after an hour were asked how everything is going and we mentioned the board. She says the kitchen was now closed but it was clear that she forget to put our order in. Im and understanding person but this was just horrible service all around. This was not because she was busy as she stood behind the bar laughing and talking with a customer there the entire time.
Wendy McKim: The rooms were very nice! We got a suite so it was really big and spacious! The hotel is very neat and it's a very cool concept! We got the green room. I like all the artwork around the hotel. Unfortunately the rooms were pretty dirty! The shower floor had a little blue spots of mildew all over it. The mirrors and surfaces were just cloudy and dirty! We had asked room service for some mosh racks because we were only given one. We were in our room with the do not disturb sign on our door and we were working up by the maid coming into our bedroom! All in all, it was a good experience and the hotel is really close to some good things! The neighborhood is good too!
Dave Erickson: Weird room layout. Tiny bathroom eclipsed by huge dining area with big table with seating for 6. Several large kitchen cupboards and drawers all completely empty. Generally lacking in amenities, no washcloths, no vending machines. no bar soap, no ice on our floor, and no blanket on the bed. Restaurant and rooftop bar very overpriced. $25 each for simple breakfast. $12 for a half glass of domestic wine. Elevator floors were sticky from spilled liquids. Garbage bags sat in hallway all day. Location is very good to downtown attractions. Management should forget about art and concentrate on hospitality.Walkability: Walking distance to Fox Theater, Circus Flora, and area restaurants.
D E: This was probably the coolest, most interesting hotel we have EVER stayed at! The concept of choosing the color of the room is very fun and interesting. The decor of the rooms, hallways, lobby and public spaces is very cool and trendy! Room was not huge, but certainly large enough, super cute, clean and perfect! Comfortable bed, Nicely updated, beautiful bathroom as well! Our room also had a great view of the arch! We went to the rooftop bar with some local family and it was a great spot to hang out and the drinks were fantastic! Also felt very SAFE, gated parking, separate guest elevators that required your room key to operate. Will definitely stay here again. We were going to the symphony at Powell hall and it was right next door!
Sara Line Frisk: Centered amidst the vibrant arts 🎭 district of St. Louis, and proximal to the SLU campus + FOX, the Angad Arts Hotel offers a safe, artsy, and entertaining visitor experience to passerby’s and city goers alike.Upon arrival, one must head to the 12th floor to check-in, and while there are small signs, it is a bit confusing which can make one feel a little put off and could benefit by larger signage. Though, there is plenty of art surrounding the entry way and the lobby, so it feels like it balances out. The receptionist service was fair and not as welcoming, but we made our way to our room - the blue room - with ease. The rooms: Each room has a unique color to match ones feeling - and we choose blue for freedom and peace. Candidly, the aesthetic feels a bit dated, left over from the late 2010s Instagramable rooms trend, however it is, nonetheless unique. As for positives, the view out to the city is impressive with large windows, the room is spacious, and complimentary coffee. Though the hotel is newer, renovated in 2018, the furniture and walls were showing their age, plastic and bright paint gets scuffed easily, clearly. Carpets were fraying a little. The TV and bathroom mirror were not polished, some streak marks left behind. Additionally the sliding bathroom door did not close. No USB outlets (just plug in) by the bed.All of these things are not anything to complain too much about but, the supremely negative quality was the dust. The night stand, lamp, and mini bar were coated in a layer of dust enough to run one’s finger through it which is a bit off putting. Notably, there IS an air vent above so it could be that it accumulates…however there is such a thing as air duct cleaning. The excuse at the front desk was the hotel was a renovation of an older building, and that they have received multiple complaints, however, clearly they have yet to remedy the issue. (We have stayed in numerous other renovated hotels…so it seems a poor excuse). The rooftop bar: This is worthy of a visit even if you are not staying here. The views of the sunset 🌅 are incredible, the bar staff are knowledgeable and very friendly, and the vibes are amazing. Even the bites are delicious.Overall, the hotel was an enjoyable stay but the dated and dusty rooms were not as pleasant. No valet but gated parking ($17).
Lee Cooke: Spent way too much on this room for what we got. We spent 3 nights in a blue room on the eleventh floor- the first two nights were alright (though the attached restaurant closed an hour early without saying anything on their door or website and accepted our reservation, only to turn us away at the host stand). The hotel is definitely form over function: the art is nice, but they're egregiously understaffed. The towels and linens are very cheap and our duvet had a hole in it from wear. They're clean, despite a few stains. The kicker was our last night- since the lobby and lounge are on the 12th floor and we were put in an 11th floor room, someone booked a party from 8 PM to midnight directly above us. We could hear every dance move, bass thump, and even song lyrics that whole time. Called the front desk and they brought us the most useless earplugs and shrugged, because the party had paid too. It was so loud, we could tell when the cha-cha slide started! No offer to change rooms, no money off ("because the manager isn't in today" when we checked out), just the offer of a breakfast coupon, when we already had reservations elsewhere and needed to drive 5 hours home.Overall, very cool Instagram photo and not much else. Angad needs to put some work into guest experience, not just aesthetic (which gets quickly undercut the second you take a closer look and notice the dust and stains and broken zen garden rake). Not at all worth the money to stay the night- spend $15 on a watered down cocktail at Art Bar and walk through the lobby, and you'll get all this hotel has to offer.
LaTonja Estelle: Now this may be the place that puts STL on the big city nightlife map....rooftop with views and eclectic space...can become 'seen b seen' spotService: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Cheryl Bell: Rooms: We loved our stay at Angad Arts Hotel. Very nice rooms and very quiet.Food & drinks: The breakfasts were fantastic. Lots of choices. The waiter was exceptional.Noteworthy details: Love the art distributed throughout the hotel.
genevieve d: We absolutely loved the Angad Rainbow Terrace! The 360 view was breathtaking! The staff was welcoming and courteous with us all!
Robin Hoback: Rooms: Nice roomsNearby activities: Close to fox theaterWalkability: Walkable to many restaurantsFood & drinks: Bar on top floor with food. Colse to many restaurants
Greg Crueger: Rooms: The theme of paintingsA, everything in the room one color is a cool artsy concept, but the colors are way too bright. my room was all one color -red. I would want it to be something more calm like a pale blue - not primary colors. That’s really the only thing that I definitely did not like about the hotel.
Nico B: I stayed here for a night because I went to the Fox to see Wicked. The hotel has easy and convenient parking and it was a 2 min walk to the Fox, which made it nice. The room was clean, but I do feel like it needed a deep clean to really impress me. I loved the color idea for the different rooms. I did not have shampoo in my room only liquid soap in the shower and at the sink. I felt like they could have had a different type of soap for the shower (i.e., body wash) and actual shampoo. Overall would recommend. Staff was very friendly and helpful because the building at first is a bit of a maze. I had a good experience there and it was well priced!!
Brian Trentmann: The hotel is very interesting you just got to look aroundRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great view, Romantic, Quiet …More
Jr: If I could give this place a negative -5 stars I would. I had a confirmed reservation at the Angad Arts hotel in St Louis Missouri April 29th and was coming to St louis for an event from ohio. I spoke with Amber who is the manager of the establishment and she advised to me in advance that I could pay cash for the room due to the room charge being more than the credit limit on my credit card and she said I was able to use my credit card for any incidental charges. I was looking forward to staying at this hotel for months up until my arrival, I was immediately stopped in the hallway by an employee as I was looking for the front desk so I can check in. I told the gentleman I had a reservation for April 29th. He immediately told me that there's notes in the system to not accept cash and to do card only for the full transaction of the cost of the hotel. I was confused about his response as I've already confirmed my reservation and situation with Amber a few times she advised to me that she would be able to honor the request to accept cash for the room and to pay the incidental charges on my credit card and to ask for her upon my arrival. The guy kept repeating the same thing advising there's nothing he can do and that his hands are tied. I requested for him to call Amber because this was not what i was told so he calls someone which could have been anyone and he said that she said the same thing that's listed in the notes. I requested to speak with her myself and he refused and kept repeating himself saying that his hands are tied and that the notes say can't accept cash with a weird smile on his face. The man was not helpful and he gave off a weird vibe that felt discriminatory. This was a huge disappointment as I've been lied to and traveled a far distance looking forward to staying at the hotel. The hotel was unprofessional and also has a history of guaranteeing requests to customers and upon arrival not honoring their word. This was the worst experience I have ever experienced from any hotel in my entire life not only that but later came across a video on tiktok from another guest that stayed at the Angad arts hotel and in the video she showed a book that's included in the rooms from the hotel that showed weird pictures of naked children. Overall the hotel gave me a dark eery vibe and the location doesn't seem the best as the area appeared ghetto where people may feel uncomfortable. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Avoid!!!!
Robert Collier: Had wonderful timeRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Melanie Yates: The check in process took way too long. There were only 2 people checking in guests and there was a long line. The rooms were okay but not very clean. The chair had stains, there was hair in the shower, dust in the restroom, used toiletries (opened qtips & opened conditioner), bathroom floor and baseboards had dust and dirt and something (dirt/smudges) on the walls in the restroom and the light switch/plate. The staff was friendly and brought new toiletries. We did not notice the other issues until returning to the room after 10:00 pm.

AC Hotel by Marriott St. Louis Central West End: what do users think?
S N: Rooms as described, clean and well kept. Walls a bit thin, TV was huge tho. Service was pretty good, check out took a bit longer than expected.A tip: spend the extra $35 and use valet parking -their garage is two blocks away- as most reviews for the parking garage across the street (unaffiliated with the hotel) reference break-ins and stolen tags, etc. Not worth the risk if you're traveling with a full car like I was.Location is awesome, perfect for walking down west central STL. The cathedral basilica is in walking distance, as is Whole Foods and a bunch of great restaurants. Clementines Naughty and Nice is opening a storefront there soon, be sure to get their amazing ice cream (alcoholic infused options, vegan options) if you're stopping in STL.Thank you to the Team at AC Hotel for our stay!
Christopher Conway: It’s a standard AC Hotel by Marriott, clean, updated, friendly, and more upscale.Parking garage is across the street.Staff was friendly.Room was clean and up-to-date. Bathrooms very nice and had all the amenities.I would stay again. Slept great.
Emily Rosenzweig: My room was spacious and modern, and bed was a perfect level of firmness. Front desk staff were super friendly and were able to give me an early check. Location is great -- lots of food and huge park in walking distance.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Sushi Koala: I was charged an extra 30 dollars after I left, for no reason, and when I called to ask why I was hung up on. I believe they think they'll get away with it by saying that I valeted my vehicle when I did not.
melissa peavler: The location is a little tricky and confusing to get to. However the rooms were very nice and all the employees there were very helpful and fun to talk to. It is definitely worth staying at if you are in the CWE.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 3/5 …More
JK Mama: Walkability: Very walkable to food shopping.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Marmot: This place exceeded my expectations. I do have status with this hotel line, so my review is a bit biased. However all of the staff were very kind, the room was very clean, and my room was upgraded when I arrived.Overall I think if you can get a good price on this hotel then it would be worth it. You are very close to great dining, shopping, and things to do/ see. I did not feel unsafe during my stay here, and the gym was up to date. You can use the valet parking for 30$ a day, or use the parking garage across the street for a variable rate.If I am ever back in STL, I will be staying here again.

Sarai Mena: Markesha front desk was so sweet and polite helped us with any question we had. Also all of staff was great from the valet girl to the woman hosting breakfast. I didn't get there names but they made our stay so convenient and amazing. When I left I had left my engagement ring in my hotel room. I went back she already had it ready to pick up. Truly sincere and amazing staff. They need a raise
Venegas Fed: I enjoyed my stay the only negative review is about parking!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jacob Supa: Great staff, very kind and helpful to all. Would stay again. Close to a nice little bar/restaurant district as well.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Mike L: Housekeeping is scant and not effective. They must be understaffed. We asked for extra housekeeping and the room was barely touched. The bathroom was still dirty and the dust and dirt collects under the TV floor area.Rooms: Small but comfortable. Housekeeping is lacking.
Louis Hugo: Interior is nice. Walls are paper thin. I Could hear every noise in the hotel. Kept me up. Smoke alarm was loose and fell off. When I put it back on the light kept flashing. Maintenance came up to look at it. Apparently fixed it. Same problem again. Not fixed. At midnight they offered to move me. Too little too late. Not a great experience. I won’t be back. There are better hotels. Period.Room was small. Everything else was ok. Needs work.
Kelia: Great location to stay in the Central West End of STL for visiting. It was a close drive to the Missouri Botanical Garden and there is a stretch of bars and restaurants nearby that are walkable.THE ROOM was nice but could use a careful cleaning. They missed a corner cleaning and we saw some coffee splash marks on the wall by the left side of the bed. There was also a small crack in the shower, bottom by where the sliding door closed. We wished the bathroom mirror light was brighter for makeup and the movable reading lights by the bed had some residue buildup on them.Service was good. We ran out of conditioner during our stay and asked for more towels. The staff brought us more towels and conditioner timely. There's a parking garage right next to the hotel that you can self park at for $15 a day.Rooms: Comfortable but management needs to focus on some details for cleaning and upkeep.Nearby activities: Bars and restaurants nearbyNoteworthy details: Next to parking garage. Available parking but not free.
Lauren Sammons: Where to begin. I have never written a review for anything before in my life, but my experience here was so bad I had to. Check in went fine, hotel interior is beautiful. Got up to our room and everything looked fine. My dad went to do his hair in the bathroom and the door to the bathroom broke, trapping him inside. Not even kidding. Door is a thick tempered glass barn door sliding door. Had to call the front desk. Maintenance came up a few minutes later and had to leave 2 times for tools and had to get another person. After about 30 minutes my dad was able to get out, but the door was still broken. (Off the tracks). We did not miss our dinner reservation, and the staff was very apologetic. Maintenance fixed the door while we were at dinner. Door never moved smoothly or properly though, so we did not close the door fully for the rest of our stay. Got back that night and wanted to tune out the loud neighbors (adjoining room) and sounds in the hallway (terrible sound proofing) so we turned on the tv. Didn’t work. After 20 min of messing with the tv we gave up as there were no channels. At check out, we notified a staff member that the TV doesn’t get any channels, and they replied “oh yeah, I feel like half our rooms don’t get any channels, I should really tell maintenance about that,”. They made it clear this has been a reported problem for quite a while that they have no intention of fixing. Astounded at the numerous issues at a hotel at this price point. No coffee available before 7am. No fan in bathroom. Valet is $30, public parking ramp right across hotel entrance is $15 a day and worked great for us. Dad bought ice cream from the lobby and all they had to eat it with were plastic forks and knives. General impression was this hotel chose beauty over function. Again, staff was very nice, hotel was not. Would not ever go back and will be warning others against visiting. I would post photos, but do not wish for staff members in the photos to be punished for the failings they aren’t responsible for.
Tim Jones: Super friendly staff. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. It was a very relaxing atmosphere.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Christina Cross: Absolutely do not stay here. My husband planned a romantic evening, stay was over $300 for the evening, and we woke up to the hot water not working. Front desk response was terrible, refused to offer compensation, and the excuse the hotel was fully booked. So you design a hotel without adequate hot water setup to accommodate? Front desk manager’s response was disgusting. I understand she was tried of explaining no hot water to EVERYONE, including people that had been staying there for MULTIPLE DAYS, but what a shame. Book your stay without the expectation of a shower.
