Some people are unpleaseable no matter what but when we are at work we need to make money too . it's a dance joint for ur entertainment which is ran on tips and we serve drinks too. Bring your good vibes . We have awesome bartenders and staff.

Madison Tough: If you are looking for THE place to go out with the girls while still feeling safe to mingle, The Pepper Lounge is where you need to be. From the bouncers to the DJ, drinks, and singles, there is nothing lacking here. I went out with some friends this past Saturday to celebrate my 21st, the bouncers we’re super polite and professional (good looking as well) and were also sure to make it known to the manager, Kelly, that the birthday girl was in the building. Kelly then ensured I had the best night with two complimentary birthday shots, a refund of my personal cover charge and a souvenir cup with a nightcap to keep my drinks safe for the remainder of the evening, as well as his contact card in case I had any problems. I was absolutely blown away by the hospitality here! Kelly frequently checked in on everyone throughout the night to be sure there were no issues and seemed to keep up with his staff too. The club didn’t start to get busy until around midnight, so it’s more of a late night lounge, but there was plenty of seating, staff, three bars and room to get out on the floor. Without a doubt, I will be returning for another night out.
Rising Phoenix 81 (True_Gamer_81): There are no rules on dress codes on any of their sites, nor social media. Be aware no athletic gear of any kind or you will be turned away. My only complaint is the lack of transparency that causes problems.

Kisha McCoy: For my brothers birthday we reversed bottle service and a booth. We had a blast and the DJ was playing good music. The vibe and energy was very live as well. I loved the bottle service girl Alicyia, she was funny, professional and she made sure we had everything we needed as well. That was the first time coming their and i would definitely come again, they also had a lot of sercurity which made me feel more comfortable. Their no seating unless you Reserve a table but, their are tables where you can put drinks on otherwise you will be standing up the whole time. So make reservations for a booth if you are going to be in heels!!!! It will be pricey though!!!!

Dan Latham: Pepper Lounge hosted the second part of our holiday company event. Richard, Louisa and Hannah and of course the rest of the Pepper Crew made us feel welcome and the service was awesome. Definitely put the place on your list for a PARTY! Oh and the 2 DJs west absolutely the best, great fun!
Jared Bradley: Literally the most genuine club in STL. I had a great time (a little too great) lost my phone, and coat. The owner himself kept them in a lock box and even offered to deliver them to me. I won’t be going anywhere else!

Early 20's- Went sunday night and was charged 20 bucks reading the reviews I was most likely overcharged but I thought it would be worth it at the time but it wasn't. 85% of the people were in the VIP lounge and some got in w/o a "wristband" most people on the floor were early 30's and up. There are other places that are free to get into or cost 5-10$ that are livelier than this place.

bronwyn miller: I love the patio here, and usually there's quite a few people, which is sometimes difficult to find in St. Louis. It's a nice atmosphere for the most part, but the DJ's are very hit or miss. I've gone there when they did an amazing job and I've been there when the music was so bad I left. I definitely still stop in on nights out fairly often. The cocktails are really awful though, and some of the worst liquor I've had. You're probably safer sticking to beer.

Annie Melber: Every time we go it is so packed you can’t move, people knock your drink all over you. The drinks are way too expensive especially since the bartenders ignore you. Still spent $50 for 5 lemon drop shots that’s were way weak and tipped well. I honestly just can’t believe how full they let it get. It’s not a club if you can’t move to dance and no way should they charge a cover for that. I have been 3 times and it’s worse every time

Stevie Stevenson: Last night my friends were thrown down a flight of stairs by SECURITY as they were LEAVING. one friend was looking for her sweater and was dragged on the ground by HER HAIR. they were asked to leave and they never argued with security. never complained or threw a fit. they left and as they were waiting for the rest of the group they were thrown down a flight of stairs by a blonde security guard named taylor. Nothing was done. No one seemed to care that two of my friends were assaulted for no reason. My friends are not violent or confrontational people. they were completely out of the bar waiting for the rest of the group and THROWN down the stairs. This security guard is going to hurt someone VERY badly if she keeps working there. Someone can crack their skull or be paralyzed. I am still in disbelief. Avoid this place at all costs if you don’t want to leave in a wheelchair.
The CS AWP God: It wasnt even that bad inside, but the girl at the front letting people in was easily the absolute rudest person Ive ever met, we were standing still waiting in line for an ATM (they dont take card here for some reason) and she started screaming at us to get out because she thought we were trying to sneak in. Not going back
Olivia Zupko (Graham): We visited PBR for a night out. From 8-10pm the environment was cowboy style, country music, bull riding. From 10pm on, there was a younger, go-out crowd which was fun to engage in as well. We danced to great music & had great experience with the staff

Wasn’t going to leave after standing outside that whole time. Also each bar has different prices. Ordered the same drink at a few different bars and my totals were different each time. But the atmosphere is fun

Ivor Nevin: Quite possibly the rudest staff I have ever encountered. One of the bartenders, looked around forty with greyed hair and an athletic build, was particularly rude. I had tipped well (20%) on the two rounds prior to this instance, and when I gave him my 20 dollar bill he then refuse to give back any chance despite my total being 16 dollars. Realistically, I would have given most if not all of it back anyhow but the onus is not on him to decide how my money is spent. Moreover, one group was conversing at the bar, which I was not part of, and for whatever reason this bartender then stood up onto the bar and screamed at them to walk away from the bar, for absolutely no good reason. Pretty sure this would be in violation of some health and safety regulations. A very unpleasant experience in general.

Carloas owens: First time visiting the Social Bar ! I walked in a wonderful atmosphere and a lot of tv screens ! Sign as soon as you walk in (wait to be seated) staff nowhere to me found ! We had reservations for 2:30 , and were told it was a wait. Plenty of empty tables and the manager seems frustrated or under a lot of pressure! Very disappointed in his actions ! Besides the hiccups after arriving the server made the occasion a lot better ! The food was everything! I will be back again to see if things have approved!
