Robert Anderson: If I could rate this company a -5 star I would. I’m hoping the owner of this business calls me to remedy my concern. I’m not going to float the laundry, just know these are not the best of people, and there are many many other furniture stores in the area that deserve the business, and will actually cater to your needs and concerns. I should have never given them a shot considering the amount of reviews in comparison to others in the area. This will be the last time I make this mistake.
Christopher Saul: I have been eyeing and researching the Herman Miller Embody chair for many months; with many online options and the high price tag, I felt uncomfortable taking my chances online. However, it’s not the chair you can pick up at your local Office Depot. Centro Modern Furnishings is one of the few local locations that carry Herman Miller chairs, so I decided to stop by and try it out. When I arrived, I received a warm welcome from Ginny, who was very welcoming and knowledgeable, walked me through all the Embody options, and gave me a great tutorial on the chair. I'm very happy with my customized chair and the experience. My special order arrived ahead of schedule, they quality checked it and assisted me with loading it into my vehicle. I highly recommend Centro Modern Furnishings for anyone considering a new Herman Miller office chair. Way better experience than ordering online, great price too! Very cool store and lots of interesting pieces!

Corey Diehl: I meant to write this review a few months ago. Centro Modern Furnishings service and support was absolutely phenomenal! I found them when looking for a Herman Miller office chair while working from home, and they were incredibly helpful explaining the different features and sizing of the chairs, and even let me know of an upcoming seasonal sale so I could wait for better pricing.Something to be aware of, even though they are a licensed Herman Miller furniture dealer, Herman Miller themselves do not extend their 30 day return policy to chairs sold via a dealer, and only on chairs purchased directly through Herman Miller themselves online. While Centro was able to offer better pricing than buying direct, and the chair is still covered under HM's 12 year warrantee, this is something to consider if you aren't 100% ready to buy.Despite this, if you are ready to buy, they offer very competitive pricing on new Herman Miller office furniture, and they have a wonderful showroom if you are looking to test sit the various Herman Miller chairs. I can't recommend them highly enough for going above and beyond!

We were recent first-time customers at Centro and Ginny, Steve, and Todd were so incredibly helpful in finding us exactly what we wanted. Our ordering process took some time, as we were hoping to get a piece custom-upholstered in a discontinued fabric. That said, the folks at Centro had us ready to go with multiple backup options in case it didn't work out. They took care of everything with the manufacturer, kept us updated throughout, and our gorgeous ottoman came in last week!Our experience with Centro was excellent and I highly recommend their beautiful store.

We ordered two Herman Miller Embody chairs from Todd in August, he waited patiently while we sat in all of the Herman Miller chairs they had at the store (I was unsure of which chair I wanted), and then worked with us even more to choose the exact custom made chairs we desired (since we wanted our chairs to match, he helped my husband and I make some tough decisions, which color of fabric, base, etc).When the chairs arrived at the store, we were notified immediately. When we went to pick them up, they were already put together for us, packaging left on them carefully to ensure safe transport, and placed in our car for us. We had an excellent experience with Centro, and cannot recommend them enough. We love shopping local, and are so thrilled to have found this wonderful store.

Simce giving me store credit i went in the store and pocked out a different dresser of the same value that i saw in the showroom, yet once again THAT ONE ISNT AVAILABLE EITHER ! Ive been picking my clothes from a bin and tv sitting on boxes ! Im so disappointed and will NEVER spend money here again !

Artsy Q: Was recommended years ago by my sisters, so I took a chance. Great prices on mattresses (not the other furniture though), however the customer service and systems are poor and unreliable (pre, mid and post covid). Told one thing by the manager and assistant manager, then got to the store and told something different by the same manager as if I’m to accommodate their misinformation when I’m acting as I was instructed and on time. Now a second trip is in order to pick up an item that wasn’t at the store as I was promised and which they refuse to mail to me! Won’t be shopping there or recommending again. Love my new mattress is the silver lining. UPDATE: So thankful that management was timely in resolving the issue by dropping the remaining item by my home before end of day. That one act goes a long way and I hope provides an opportunity to do better and for others to enjoy the great mattress prices here. Now for a good night’s rest!

Apparently they can’t do online orders.

Their items are great but their people and service really show you that they do not give a second thought to what happens with the customer after they get their money. Most items must go through the online routine since store inventory is always minimal. Would give negative stars if an option.
Taylor Williamson: I ordered a couch from them, waited 6 months for it to arrive. They delivered half the couch and let me know they lost the other half. When they scheduled the delivery I got rid of my existing couch as their website says they will hold all items. Customer service and their sun contracted delivery were awful. They offered to remake the couch and compensate me for my troubles but they couldn’t tell me how much the compensation would be until the couch was delivered. 😂😂 laughable attempt at high quality service. I really liked the couch I ordered but I will never do business here again.

They told me my items were sold as is. So basically they can send you the wrong item then you ordered and tell you it’s as is. What a great way to get rid of items that aren’t selling! Charge people for an item they didn’t order. They finally settled by giving me a 10% discount. A whopping $140 off item I waited five months to receive I didn’t order. REALLY bad customer service. Will not be ordering with them ever again. Go with joy bird or article! One hundred percent! Great customer service.

Did not say hello or ask me if I could find anything, but rudely asked if I left someone else's Styrofoam cup on the shelf? "Umm... No." I shrug her off and continue to browse. This associate stood there. Still frowning. Still not asking if I need any assistance. Staring at me and my friend. Mind you, I’m a younger looking black woman in her 30s. Why was I treated this way? We left. I refuse to spend any money at a place that can not provide the basic level of customer service. Work on it!

Bethany Knudtson: The staff at the St. Louis store was phenomenal! Friendly, but not at all pushy. We haven’t yet received our order, but are hopeful it will be soon. The showroom pieces were comfortable and we really hope it will be a good fit for our family. The overall price was a bit more than we anticipated, but things seem to be of high quality. And I love that we can wash the cushion covers!

She sent me home with swatches to make a final decision and I return the next day to pay. While I was paying I actually received an email for 25% off that I didn't find until later and when I responded back with questions about why I wasn't offered that Brittany made it right immediately! She went back and hadn't been notified of the sale herself and since it was literally getting into my mailbox the same time I was paying she went back to adjust so that I received a refund for the amount missed. Now I'm just waiting to find out when my sofa will arrive!

Libby was so incredible, answered all of my questions, and didn’t pressure me or make me feel like I had to purchase that day or I would be missing out. I love the sales without the guilt! There’s a heart centered way to do sales and Libby has it down. She offered to text me if a sale was coming up on the items o was interested in and she did just that a couple days later. We were able to communicate via text which was wonderful. I love clear, concise, and open communication.Service agreement was sent via email and the payment was made over the phone.
