Penny Portell: My visit yesterday for a tooth extraction was the best dental experience I have had in my 65 years! Dr. Brooke and her assistant Daisha were excellent in dealing with my severe dental anxiety. They were both so kind, patient and understanding. I was able to complete the procedure with nitrous and didn’t have to be put to sleep. Dr. Brooke was the gentlest dentist I have ever been to. No pain with the novocaine injections or the extraction. I will definitely come back and I recommend them to anyone suffering with dental anxiety.

Hagen Garner: I came here to have a tooth removed that another dentist had messed up. That last experience gave me severe anxiety and caused me to avoid the dentist for years. The tooth became so bad that I could no longer avoid it…. After reading reviews from others on this place, I decided to give them a try. My experience this time was far better than expected. Dr.Kratz and Lauren both did an excellent job extracting the broken tooth and fitting a bone graft. After years of avoiding the dentist I now have a lot of work to be done, and this will for sure be where I get it done. Thanks guys.

Randall Mars: Great place to go for a regular cleaning, but I've lost all trust outside of that. Went in for a routine cleaning and complained about a molar hurting pretty bad with cold fluids. They x-rayed and said nothing is wrong and ignored the fact that I had some very bad pain there for quite some time.Five weeks later while on vacation, come to find out it was a fractured tooth. Got it extracted a few states away. Then 3 months later I start getting pain so I came back to Borgmeyer, and after 7-8 jabs with the needle I was numbed."I think there might be fragments left from the extraction, and we'll need to drill into your gums and clean out pieces of the tooth that was left there I think". Okay, let's get this done.Was told it will feel much better by the evening. Was given no instructions on how to care for it. I had to keep asking questions and it just seemed like I was bothering them. Was told by the assistant that drinking out of straws is fine and dry socket would not be a problem. But was given no directions or antibiotics. This all doesn't seem right.I was able to get some gauze from the assistant after asking a few times. Three days later my neck and jaw was massively swollen and the pain became ten times worse. Five days after, I went to an oral surgeon and had the infection removed, and given antibiotics.I will never ever go to this dentist office again. I am baffled at how good the reviews are.
Liz Wilson: Several months after a filling that I got here, I ended up having to get a root canal on the same tooth. The endodontist told me Borgmeyer had drilled to close to my root and that the soft tissue between my root and the filling died resulting in an infection. When I mentioned this to Borgmeyer's office staff, there was no sorry or remorse, only a request for payment. So now I'm out $1000 for a root canal and a crown because they messed up a filling.I have relatives that still go here and have never had a bad experience, but I will never go back. Borgmeyer Dental has lost my trust.

jill sean: Got several teeth pulled and out of all the places this place got me in quick and it was painless and nice staff. I woke up the next day after my tooth got pulled it barely bleed it healed fast and I can't even tell I got a tooth poled I have zero pain today and I literally got it pulled yesterday this place highly highly recommend it's a little overpriced but honestly worth it because the last place I went to before I went here at Kingston dental did a horrible job my face was swollen for over a week and badly bruised. Honestly though this place was amazing the dentist who pulled my tooth so was so gentle and careful and he made me feel comfortable thank you so much Kingston dental I am definitely coming here from now on.

Arjola Hoxha: Two stars are only for the first visit I had in this office. Staff looked nice and welcoming. The lady who did the x-ray was really friendly with me, that’s why I decided to leave a second appointment and hopefully to become a patient. I left an appointment to fix an old crown and the front desk ladies told me that they need to reevaluate since has been awhile. They told me to call the insurance to see if it will be covered, since I had the same exam months ago, which I really appreciate it. They even gave me the name of the exam I was supposed to do. Two days before my appointment I received a text that they require a full mouth exam , even thoughI was not due, because the doctor cannot diagnose without X-rays and I had to pay out of pocket. They gave me the option to call my old office so they can send X-rays to them, which I did, but they did not receive any X-ray. I made it clear that I am not paying for a full mouth exam. I did not leave an appointment for this. I should have been told since the first moment I called them for the appointment that they require a full mouth exam too, not two days before my appointment. They canceled my appointment because I disagreed paying and doing the exam they were asking for, and charged me $75. I never canceled my appointment for a PA X-ray and limited exam which was covered by insurance. It looks like they do not want new patients in their office.

Taylor Noah: Scheduling was easy and everyone is incredibly nice. Texting to communicate is awesome and new patient paperwork was a breeze. X-rays & cleaning with Adita was great, no problems, was explained everything throughout which was nice too. You don’t get that often going to the dentist! Cherry on top was the new patient goodie bag contained an insulated cup full of candy chapstick, a magnet, pen, toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss. No a better way to leave the dentist than with a bunch of chocolate! Back for cavity filling in a few weeks - See you guys soon!
Lisa Erxleben-Lamons: An Amazing Experience! Staff was pleasant. The first time I’ve went into a dental office and felt that the dr or dental hygienist wasn’t trying to up sell products and services. Felt like they truly cared. Took the time to show my teen son how to properly brush teeth and why… and it’s not the old school way. Made him understand gum health and why. So amazed. Front desk was sweet, offered drinks, waiting room wasn’t institutionalized…. Felt like they cared!

Alyssa S: I had not been back to the dentist since the pandemic due to my concern. I was looking for a new dentist and my coworker (a PT who treats jaw pain) recommended I go to Dental Care STL. I am now fully COVID-19 vaccinated, but even if I were not, I'm sure I would feel comfortable with all the safety measures Dental Care STL has in place. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I work 10 hour days and I was able to secure my first appointment communicating by email only because my hours don't make it feasible for me to call an office during typical business hours.Unfortunately I had to have several fillings done. I do have jaw pain and have often had issues after dental care. Dr. Ahmad-Majeed was very sensitive to this and would allow me to take breaks (without me even asking), so my jaw musculature would not be too fatigued. She was also very aware of positioning, making sure my neck was not positioned in an awkward angle. I didn't have any jaw or neck pain after my procedure! I am so thankful for the care I received at Dental Care STL!

cufta05: Shelley and Abby were great. It seems like they know what they are doing. But on the other side, Dr. Apte did not convince me that she will a doctor to whom I would confide my teeth health. She was guessing which teeth should be fixed, also she mumbled so I was not sure if she was talking to me, the hygienist or herself. She did not demonstrate a knowledge that would convince me to go back, so I decided to find another dentist.

Not only was I anxious about the cleaning but added shame of letting it go for so long.Dr Apte passed no judgment. She was kind , very gentle and kept checking on me with every touch. I ended up having to get a few cavities filled as well --- I can't believe how easy and painless she made my procedure.The office was clean, comfortable. I can't tell you what a relief it is finding them. Now i have a team of professionals that changed the way I felt about the dentist.Thank you Dr Apte and Team!!!!!!

Harold Green: I will not be going back to Dr. Aubert. Great dentist but billing is horrible. on my last visit I asked for an itemized bill before I received any service . Up on completion of services my bill had magically doubled. My hygienist decided I needed x-rays . I’ve already had two sets of x-rays this year but it increased my bill by approximately $300.00 dollars.

Willie Foed: Have to change my review. Just make sure if you use this place to ask over and over and over and over and over and over and over if you owe anything before using them. Got a surprise bill after using them for over a year. Felt like after I asked them over and over and over and icee do I owe anything I should have gotten an accurate answer. Just be careful when using this office. Love the dentist and the front staff not sure if they had anything to do with the false information I got but very disappointed.

John Warrick: I am new to St. Louis and I chose Dr. Aubert and FPD as my new dentist because of the great reviews and that it is walking distance from my home. Everything went well with him with my first few cleanings.Then a few months ago I abruptly came in with some tooth pain and it turned out a filling from 10+ years ago had come loose and fallen out. He was very busy that day, but still found time to keep me there and put a new filling in as not to prolong the issue. It was such a lifesaver. Everything is great with the tooth today.I could not recommend Dr. Aubert highly enough!
Bat Masterson: This is an A1 dental office they are fast and VERY efficient. I came in with very crooked teeth looking for ugly metal braces after being told by multiple dental offices that I didn't qualify for Invisalign because of my teeth. I came in see Dr Aubert and he looked at me and said I'd be a great candidate for Invisalign. This shocked the hell out of me and sure enough I sit here typing this review with clear aligners in my mouth. Shout or to Dr. Aubert and his amazing staff!

Jessica Williams: I have had significant difficulty scheduling + contacting this practice. When I first established, they were not clear that I would only get the exam on day 1, and have to schedule the cleaning later, for which they were booking 6 months out. They then said there is a 300 person waitlist and I would have to call every week if I wanted to hope for a cancellation. My next appt was fine and went on without a hitch. However, my final straw was them cancelling my third appt on the morning of (I had already told work I would be leaving early), and they were only able to offer me an appt 7 months out. They should not be taking on new patients. Additionally, they are very difficult to get on the phone. I was able to get a new patient appt (cleaning + exam) at a different practice within a month. I am eagerly changing practices.
Marc Hirshman: Well run office and I’ve had good care from all the different dental hygienists I’ve seen over the years. They recently implemented new reminder system so it’s a bit overboard on the number of call, text and email reminders I get for appt.

M R: This is one of the best dental practices in the Midwest. Professors from Washington University and Barnes Jewish Hospital are among their patients. But the reason to go there is the incredible skill (and therefore gentleness) of the doctors and hygienists. The staff is skilled and welcoming. Whether you need normal cleanings and checkups, or the highest level of complex general dentistry, you will be glad you chose this practice when you go for the first time!
