Concordia Publishing House: what do users think?
De'Andre B: Quick and easy delivery
Suzanne Chisum: Wonderful resource for organ music. It is best to order it online as there is only a limited supply of organ music available to page through in the store.Wonderful resource for organists of all denominations.
Lori Colwell Vickers: Took a side trip to St. Loius on my way to AK. I'm glad I stopped by CPH. Staff was helpful and friendly.
James Travis: One of the few Christian Book stores still open. Plus, here you get acurate scripture backed resources.
Marsha Gregory: NICE & CLEAN....PARKING IS QUESTIONABLE BUT OTHERWISE A VERY NICE BOOKSTORE. THEY HAVE A VARIETY OF EVERYTHING YOU'RE LOOKING FOR & MAYNOT BE LOOKING FOR. THE ATTENDANT WAS EXTRA FRIENDLY & HELPFUL. I'VE FOUND "MY" NEW CHRISTAIN BOOKSTORE BEING THAT MOST ARE OR HAVE CLISED DUE TO THD PANDEMIC
Corine Reed: Very friendly and helpful service. Prices are perfect.
Christi Layton: Great little book store with lots of to offer children, teens and adults. Their staff is very engaging , helpful and shared updates about new products coming in. I had a great experience with ordering online too, they communicate well and ship quickly.
Theon Jones: Didnt have much to choose from when it came to commentaries and wasnt very helpful in helping me find other resources
Mike Albers: My order came in after I was diagnosed with covid and after a week or so, I was well enough to email and explain my situation. The email back was so kind and reassuring that my order would be there waiting for me whenever I felt well enough to pick it up. It was! The lady working was so happy to go get my order and glad I was feeling better. The book store is much smaller than it used to be, but still nice. And, of course, you can order online (as I did) from a much larger inventory. If you're looking for Christian books or gift items, I would recommend Concordia!
Jb George: What happened to the bookstore? Leasing the space to a non-Lutheran charter school? Probably won't be back.
Shauen Trump (Personal): Amazing publisher. Friendly, professional, and dedicated to their mission. The little bookstore at the publisher has the most common items on display for perusal and can quickly retrieve almost anything they publish from the warehouse.
B D: Great resource for the church and its people
Bruce Lucas: It shrank! 🙁 But it's still a great place to shop for books. 🙂
Jessica Hammond: The best customer service, with quick responses. Ran by people who see the purpose in their work and truly care about doing their job well to serve others.
Jonathan Koeller: This is the top place for religious resources in my family. A variety of deep and practical theological materials, with the highest quality of content, ranging from books and educational resources for all ages to church supplies have been interesting for me and my family to explore and learn from for many years.
Kim Halbert: Didn't go to this place. Only the school attached to this building.
Jon Hohgrefe: For a medium sized store, I could spend hours there
Jason Wilson: I love this place! The entire staff was very friendly and they had everything I was looking for in one stop. This is officially my new place for all things clergy.
Roger Drinnon: Great confessional Lutheran store. Great and welcoming staff. Always responsive to needs.
Deborah Wright: It was nice and friendly and helpful. and fun

Catholic Supply of St. Louis, Inc.: what do users think?
Helen Adams: As always, the best place to shop! Cards, music, candles, religious gifts ... They have it all. If it isn't in stock, they will work to get it for you. The staff is ultra friendly and helpful, giving you the best of attention and space to browse and decide amongst the offerings. I make a quarterly trip for a case of vigil lights and always manage to find a few things I cannot live without.
Cecily Erker: I’m in the middle of praying a novena to the Infant of Prague, and I felt guided to go here and get a statue. I found a statue of the Infant of Prague in the clearance section for a very low price. Thank you Catholic Supply, I was overwhelmed and held back tears at many of the devotional items and images on display. Thank you for being an important fixture for St. Louis Catholics.
Jack Carello: Absolutely one of the best places in Saint Louis! I went out of my way to buy gifts for people here because it has great gifts. The staff are friendly. If you get the chance to shop here definitely take it! Have a great day, know God loves you, and know when you learn true devotion to Jesus Our Savior he helps you become the happiest and most heroic version of yourself!
Fush Moss: All my catholic needs in one place.
Thomas Marten: Very helpful with getting supplies figured out
Sarah Davidson: I ordered ahead online, and they had everything ready and correctly packaged when I picked up a couple of days later. Everyone there is very friendly, and they have a lot of great gift options, especially if you have any upcoming baptisms, first communion’s, etc.
Tony Zeman: Was very helpful for options to get for my grandsons confirmation
Sarah Hannan: This is a great place to find all sorts of Catholic items, such as books, uniforms, statues, prayer cards, sacramental dresses and suits. The staff is helpful and supportive.
John Haley: Everything Roman Catholic you could want. Staff is helpful, not overbearing.
Michael Jay Williams: I love visiting the store. This is where I go when I need to get my clergy, collars or welcoming cards for my church. The atmosphere is great the people there are very knowledgeable and very wholesome and I really appreciate that.
Ann Kovace: I miss the west county location but they had a large selection and I found some nice things. There was staff around and they were able to answer a question and check me out quickly. I'll come back.
Andy Love: First time here and I was amazed at everything they had.
Unlucky Golf: Not lit
Royal Adriane Stefon: Very bad service :-( I was sent inside the store to pick up and was rudely questioned and interrogated by a few staff members tonight, if I would have known that they specialize in police work I would have brought donuts, but instead the energy felt cold. I don’t recommend
Matt: Very helpful and friendly staff
Wayne Bisaillon: Great selections
Janet DeSmith: Very helpful personnel
Agnes AJ: This store used to be so wonderful, with reasonable prices and many of their figurines and other items made in Italy. Now, I've noticed a definite shift toward cheaper quality things that are made in China. Also, along with cheaper quality, the prices on a lot of items is significantly higher than it used to be. My mom and I have been going here for over 15 years and we both agreed, after our last visit a couple of weeks ago, that we won't be visiting here as often. There are still some decent things to buy but, overall, we were very disappointed.
Fabian Yanez: Well supplied
Valeria Tentschert: Love it everyone is so helpful and it was a nice experience
Jeanne Weber: I'm not Catholic, but I found Advent supplies, and saw many lovely things to give as gifts for my Christian friends.

Pauline Books & Media: what do users think?
Riders on the storms: Religious articles and books run by the Pauline sisters. Good prices and they have a chapel you can visit if you're so inclined.
Bob E: The Daughters of St. Paul are a wonderful, welcoming, and devout community of women devoted to spreading the Good News through their shop. Got the Bible and card that I needed for a Confirmation gift. Always to visit the sisters and the store.
Neil McCloskey: Sisters are so great there. This is definitely one of my favorite places to visit. I want 2 of everything, the chapel is great too.
Patricia Stuckey: The lady sister Barbara was so helpful and knowledgeable about everything in the place
Danny Hughes: //: About average
Mary Daus: Very helpful. Had what I wanted. Small catholic book store.
Pete Schmit: Excellent Catholic book store!
Dominic Forget: Great place to buy books and pray in the chapel that's attached to the store :)
Cindy Aubuchon: Love this place! So helpful, kind. Has the chapel and good books / references!
Michael Kern: Great Catholic bookstore but closed on Mon,Tue & Wednesdays. I was surprised by this.
Philipjohn Assaf: Everyone is so friendly and helpful.
Pamela Martin: Very friendly & helpful
Mary Tichy: I love this store. I could spend hours in here. I always leave wanting more. The staff (mostly sisters, but not all) are very kind and helpful.
Frank X: Went there for an event. Liked the rosary collection. The nuns coordinated the event very well.
Danny Hannan: I went for a confirmation gift for a friend and a lil something for my goddaughter for Easter. The sisters were so helpful! Sr. Gemma approached me right upon my entering, asking if I needed baby help. She showed me where the cards were for confirmation and recommended a newer book based on sacraments, Mysterion. The warmness of the encounter made it feel like God put the book in my hands Himself! I'm excited to give it to my friend! While looking through the book a bit I saw, out the corner of my eye, a section of books by Fulton Sheen. I've recently been introduced to him and some of his quotes have really been resonating with me. Ended up grabbing a book for myself! Sr. Jemma then helped me pick out a book for my goddaughter. She seemed so happy to do so! Finally I ran into Sr. Laura who informed me of a video series about Mysterion that was stating up soon. She invited me to come to a public showing of the first video the store was hosting next Thursday, April 21st. Definitely think I'm gonna try to make that! Pauline is always such a beautiful and positive place to visit! I'd highly recommend it to anyone trying to find a gift or something to aid you in your prayer life. God bless!
Connie P: A very lovely Catholic book store with a helpful and informed staff. They helped me find a book I wanted and recommended another that may be a good fit for me. You can sit and flip through books at a small reading area, or avail yourself of their chapel. I will go back again, for sure.
Gordon Satoh (Monumental Pens): There is no Catholic bookstore quite like Pauline. The nuns are amazing and knowledgeable. They know how to help find the right books, especially if you are going to White House Jesuit Retreat. Their selection is phenomenal. And they have books that exude quality and spirituality. Their chapel is a wonderful place to pray. Hospitality and friendliness is the norm. They have gifts too, but it’s their books, real books, with all the smells and textures and beauty that you just can’t find in a digital copy. If I sound a bit romantic about this, I am. Real bookstores are a several hour adventure, and this one is not one to miss. Peace to you!
Thuy Pham: Peaceful place.
Mark Lorms: I love this place ❤ also a chapel in here.
Lea Nall-Williams: Very friendly and helpful staff.
Jane Indihar: Books and relious articles for all occasions. Very helpful staff.

Left Bank Books: what do users think?
Bonita Newby: It's cool.
Peter Reed: Great selection the staff picks are thoughtful and nice events
Benjamin Reha: We came to this bookstore while visiting. It’s a cool space and the two ladies behind the counter were very helpful and friendly. We got two good books and they recommended some cool stickers. If you have time and are I’m this area of town, definitely make it a point to check this spot out.
Daphne Katranides: Fabulous bookstore, helpful staff, and bargains in the basement. Hard to walk out with more than you came for.
Alexandra Martin: Very lovely library! A lots of books, I'm sure that you will find what you want read 📚 :)
Sara Davis: Left Bank Books is a very classic book store. Nooks and crannies hold lots of popular titles and a basement space has used and new books on the shelves. There is a small but varied gift selection. Everyone who works there are extremely helpful, knowledgeable book sellers. It’s the place to go for a good browse.
Michaela Kuba: Employees are always super kind and helpful
Tammy Lambert: We've been wanting to come to this bookstore for several years. Helpful staff - made several recommendations for local authors. Book selection is extensive for such a small space.
Tationa Trice: I love it. Nothing like going to a book store and being surrounded by books. They have great selections and it nice when I can go in and choose a book I would probably never read and give it a try.
Jed and Ann Brown: A more appropriate name for this bookstore would be "adorable agitprop." Or "communism with a cute cat."
Teresa Wise: Great independent book store in St. Louis. They have a knowledgeable staff and fabulous selection. Special orders are no problem. Great author special events too. I have been coming here for years and love their dedication to literacy.
Johnathon Rose-Lyon: If I'm ever looking for a specific book, this is invariably my first and only stop. If they don't have it, I order it from here. If I see a book I like at a big book chain, I take a picture of it, then come here to buy it. Because some of the coolest, most thoughtful people I've ever met in retail work here, and, without them, the CWE would be a fraction as great. They're the heart of the neighborhood. Do anything and everything you can to keep that heart beating ❤️
Tyler Anderson: Friendly staff and a great selection. Most of the lesser-star reviews are from those upset about their mask policy and the fact that they offer a large selection of LGBTQ+ material -- I appreciate that safety and inclusivity are at the heart of Left Bank.
Lauren Stiffler: One of my favorite bookstores. They have a great selection and very friendly staff. It’s a very welcoming space. I’ve found a ton of great deals on their used books in the basement as well!
Marie M: I visited the shop when I was in St. Louis on a work trip recently, and I love it. They had recently published hardcover used books at great prices. There’s also a great selection of new books in a variety of genres. While in the store, I think I spent about 5 minutes mentally trying to rearrange my suitcase so that I could bring more books home with me. I definitely recommend Left Bank Books and would love to visit again any time I’m in St. Louis.
Erin Hazelip: I love this bookstore! So many different genres of books to choose from!
francine harris: I really miss Left Bank books now that I don’t live in the Lou anymore. But even from afar they are a great part of the literary community I depend on. I also appreciate them maintaining their mask policy, making it a little safer for everyone.
Susan Talve: A true gem in St Louis and beyond
Teri Brickey: The best of independent bookstores! I often go in to browse the staff picks and find something new. Any book I want is either there or easily ordered. The staff are the true gem though - kind, helpful, and knowledgeable - they’re the best!
Amy Struckhoff: Legendary store! The employees never fail to impress with their endless knowledge. I’ve loved this place since I was a child.
Sandy Brown: An intellectually vacuous, living parable of the axiom, "Go woke, go broke." So many books, so little substance, so much agitprop.
