After 15 minutes I called to see if there was an issue and the woman who rudely answered the phone did not even ask me my name or order number, but instead said “yeah someone’s I’ll bring it to you” and hung up. Deplorable.Update: I have been waiting now for almost 30 minutes and still no order has arrived to me. What a disgrace.

Michael: I've been in a few times looking for seasonal pieces. The staff is more interested in their own outfits than helping you build yours. They will ignore you and aren't knowledgable about their inventory. I tried to purchase a piece, and I waited for 20 minutes for the sales rep to come back and check me out, so I left. I won't be back to this location.

Then I went to the Bond No. 9 store and another wonder knowledgeable lady who knows all the note's off the top of her head by the name of Mrs. Carolyn helped me and my family there. My Stl experience was 10xs better than the Dallas one because they had me to email them the problem that they created and I still haven't heard back from them. No sorry no I apologize nothing. The lady's in Saint Louis made it right though.

Taylor J: So yesterday we went to the shoe department of Neiman Marcus and for the first 10 minutes no one paid attention to us they were all occupied with each other and the random security guard (that was speaking way too loud that everyone basically heard him) that was talking to everyone around the sun. There was a blonde woman who had long hair on her phone most of the time, a brunette girl with short hair who noticed us but didn’t do anything. The only one we will applaud is Charles because he actually helped us, even though it took a little bit he was still nice. Sadly this was the worst neiman marcus we have been to and we have been card holders since the 80’s. The selection was poor and the staff was even worse. So if you do think about going here be prepared to wait.

I was there for a beauty event about one year ago and experienced wonderful customer service! Fast forward to the end of 2022, and I received zero greetings or assistance. The woman in cosmetics had AirPods on and is looking at her phone! I had to repeat myself twice before she looked up from her phone and her tone was very unprofessional. Found my items on my own and had to wait for the gentleman near hair products to finish his personal conversation with another colleague before he would acknowledge I needed to checkout. Makes it very difficult to make the effort to shop in-store.

Jen W: - TLDR: unpleasant customer service experience. Just go to Saks (on the other end of the mall). Most Saks staff members are way more professional and welcoming. Prices are usually better at Saks too.- Lady in the pink sweater (in the photo): worked at the shoe area scores NEGATIVE stars in helpfulness. Gave questionable information by saying the item I was trying to exchange will not come back as it is on clearance. I had my eyes on this item for a while and know that it came back several times when the price was even lower. After I offered this info, I had to prompt for options to obtain the right size. She appeared annoyed as her speech was curt and used close-ended statements. One good thing going for her was she did quickly look up the inventory. Other than that, there were no greetings, no warmth, and no efforts made to help with my situation or explore options.- Male at the return center: I had previously interacted with this staff member before and he was helpful when I picked up an online order. However, his attitude was disengaged and unfriendly when I did return. His attention was divided by interacting with another colleague (slow to assist and continued to talk to the colleague throughout the return process). Also, did not give back my online order slip and was unaware and non-apologetic (I had to walk back to get it). Tip: return/exchange without the online order slip is cumbersome. So you want that back if there are other items on the order. I am going to give this staff the benefit of the doubt as he was helpful during my last interaction. Maybe it was a bad day.- Overall: unpleasant experience doing an online exchange and return. Many staff members are hit or miss at this location. In my experience, about 1/3 of the people I interacted with in-store were actually professional or helpful. The shopping experience is way better at Saks (down the other end of the mall) and prices there can be better.
David Henderson: I was looking for something I had already tried finding at 6 other stores. Since I'm not close to this location, I called to see if they had it. Over the course of 2 days those phone calls took up at least 3 hours of my time. Day 1 after many phone calls and being hung up on every time they transferred me, someone finally picked up and said they would have the department call me. Never happened. They need to invest in their staff and train them to use a phone. When I finally got someone close to the department I wanted that person hung up when trying to put me on hold. No one ever answered in the department I was trying to reach. In the end I finally got someone who was able to look on the computer and tell me if they had what I was looking for. It should not take this many attempts to get someone who modestly understands their job. Customers should not have to try this hard to get service. NM is way too high end and expensive to be giving this poor of service.
GuxxiBlue: Gotta laugh. The only place I've been where the associates talks you out of a sale, very odd. Asked about a discount code and I was informed there was not one, as soon as I walked out of the store, I got an email link for 15% off. When I informed the associate she played clueless. I really did not want to see the commission go to her or that department. To me they have not shown five stars of earnings a commission, if you can easily tell a customer, just get it from another merchant, the biggest reason for two stars. Do yourself a favor shop online in general, unless you have to do fittings. You would think this store has no sales plan for the week. I don't plan to come back to this venue. You should not have to go out of your way for someone to take your money. Good luck shoppers.

Kimberly Floyd: I had an absolutely lovely time at Neiman Marcus the other day! I was looking for a wedding guest dress and I had no idea where to start. The store manager, Dan, was so incredibly helpful with setting me up with my own personal shopper, Brandon. This being my first visit ever to an upscale clothing store, I was kind of nervous but Brandon and Dan made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Tim was very knowledgeable in the products as well and everyone I met was so nice and accommodating. The customer service is top notch. I chose an amazing dress and boots that Brandon paired together and I can’t wait to visit again. Truly an amazing experience!

Lucia del Pilar: Usually I like going to this Sephora but today -- on my birthday no less -- was a terrible experience. I made sure what I wanted was in stock before I came so I could get my birthday gift but since they are bad about restocking the shelves I looked in the drawer to find one of the things I wanted. I found one, and as I was looking for another an employee came up and asked if I need any help. I told her I just wanted to make sure they were out of stock. After a haphazard search she told me they were, and told me to stay out of the drawers — a completely understandable request if the products were stocked regularly, which they’re not. I then went to the perfume section looking for a rollerball. The person attending took forever to notice me as they were busy chatting with friends and when I did ask about the availability they told me, as I looked at them again haphazardly searching in a drawer with rollerballs from the brand, that they were completely out of the all rollerballs from the brand I wanted. I almost left but remembered I needed my setting spray and when I got in line to buy it the rollerball was right there in the minis section. All in all super disappointing experience; I was hoping to have a nice birthday shop but this kind of ruined the mood.

Joseph: Since moving inside the city limits, I have chosen The Galleria Macy's as my location. I find they have much more stock and better items than the South County Center location. Macy's @ Galleria carries a wide variety of men's Calvin Klein and Polo clothing and accessories, whereas Macy's @ South County only stock Calvin Klein socks. Inventory isn't always organized, but I don't mind digging around at Macy's Galleria until I find what I am looking for.

It's not too much traffic up there so the line was long at the register. As with most things in Macy's they are pricey. The store was clean, the sales woman was quick to tell me where I needed to go (in a very friendly tone), and thankfully they had a great sale going on. In and out just like I needed to be.
