Kevin Carter: I used AT&T's buy onllne and pick up in store to upgrade my phone. I went to this location to pick up my phone. The person who helped me failed to give me everything to return my phone or let me return the phone in store. The email I was then sent to return the phone did not have the correct information (this was finally verified by a live person). I had to return to this store to get it taken care. The person who took are of me over talked me, was condescending and wouldn't listen. After about 30 minutes of them trying to figure it out, they finally listened to me and realized they did not understand the issue. It then took another 30 minutes to resolve. After I got the issue resolved, they advised me that next time I upgrade that I should do things differently. They never apologized for all my wasted time or acknowledge they messed up. Instead I was told I needed to do things differently. Well I did everything per AT&T, so my only guess at what should be done differently is to change wireless providers.

He even stayed almost a full hour after his shift to wrap it all up & then called me to confirm it was all set.They got busy around 5 so I’d recommend you make an appointment before the end of the workday - and ask for Josh!

Cheryl Reber: We went in to create a family plan of 3 lines, my husband from his old family plan, and my mom and I on a new family plan, leaving just her internet under her old account. We also wanted to trade in an S4 for the new S23 deal happening now. Brandyne did not talk us through anything he was doing. He charged us for the intermediate plan without telling us the options, he asked me to sign pop-up terms and conditions without talking. He tried to add a $200 Samsung watch on our order while I had stepped away AFTER we had said we didn't want it, just because the service for it came free with a nurse discount I got. He said "it's only $3/ month..." When we saw the price for the new plan, it was $40/month over what we were expecting. We asked why, and he wouldn't tell us until we brought up the online deals ourselves, and then he said "oh, insurance is an extra $17/month per line". Didn't let us decide whether we wanted insurance on top of the manufacturer's warranty?Additionally, some of you may know you have to create a log in associated to the account to view your services after you have your billing number. We said we were going to go home to finish the discount process online because we don't have that information yet. He said, "no, I need you to use an alternative email address that you don't use anymore to log in (even though it won't match your att account), so that I can get credit for this sale today." He then proceeded to complain that his boss didn't give him a whole hour lunch today.Right now looking at my mom's account, it looks like he removed her INTERNET instead of moving her phone over because it only lists her phone number under the "Services" tab. Just a lot of frustration, feeling like we had to fight to not be taken advantage of, and may have been left with incorrect services anyway. Even if we go in to fix everything, we will be charged all the service fees.I would appreciate a rep's response so that I can get our accounts fixed with respect.

Shalon Brouk: fraudulent additions to my account were made without my permission as well as loud rap music playing, i didnt add a line, it was trade-in for a 14 pro with the eligible phone being a 12, they added an iphone 13 pro max with a number i had never seen and my name misspelt as Sharon, and added protect advantage for 4 phones on my new phone when i have a two line account, and Protect advantage for 1 line on the random new phone making it act like i have 5 lines protected when i only was supposed to have 2 with no add ons. And then they also added a home protect add on, when i didnt even know it was a thing. my bill went from $160 to over $350 and needless to say i will no longer go back to that store

I understand they were busy, but not one associate bothered to acknowledge me, or anything, just gave me dirty looks and blew me off. Customer service in this store is trash. Ended up leaving and going to a different store.

Angela Robinson: I went to this location for an upgrade (9/23/22) and in the process was given incorrect information. The representative stated I was purchasing accessories for a discount but I later find out they were applied to my bill as a payment plan. I would have never agreed and didn't accept them. At a later date the manager agreed to give me a credit for the charge (which was an error) but that did not happen. When I went back to inform him of that he was very rude because I was asking him to correct his error. Still no resolution. Not to mention they changed my insurance without content. I have been a customer for over a decade and this is turning into a deal breaker. I have been dealing with this for longer than needed.

Tom Hannan: This location lied to my wife and I about a phone upgrade promotion, resulting in us getting a phone that was 50% more expensive than what they said it would be. They also showed us a projected monthly bill that was lower than our bill at the time, but it is now much, much higher, in part because they signed us up for a bunch of options that we did not ask for. Even after spending hours with AT&T getting those charges, the bill is still much higher. When I went back to the store to resolve the issue, they said that there was nothing that they could do. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will consider switching from AT&T if this matter is not resolved promptly. Stay away from this location!!!

They will say anything to get into your wallet then act like it was never said. Stick with the in-store personnel for your needs. You will be more satisfied that way.

Previn Moore: I went in today to purchase a new Google pixel 6 pro. When doing a transaction a worker named Anthony aka Tony point to where the accessories were saying that's all they had. He told me it was a buy two get one accessory free. I bought two items and afterwards found a car mount that would qualify. He told me that he could not help because it was not picked out at time of the transaction. When I asked him if their was anyway he could help since the transaction was documented and I had not left he proceeded to say nope. When I said this is kind of shiesty because I had no left he began yelling say that ng I'd I would like to argue take it up with the manager not him proceeding to send threats saying I was following him to the back. The manager d came and gave me the mount for free which is all I had wanted was to speak to him to see if he Could help. D proceeded to go back into the back for a meeting with nick coming back out attempting to tell me what I did wrong when I had no desire to speak to him. He began proceeding to call someone on his phone speaking on Spanish and addressing the situation while in store. I appreciate d and what he has In store with this location but Anthony is not the representation that should represent att with these actions. From past reviews it seems this experience is common

Maggie Carlton: I went in 2 days ago to upgrade to the new iPhone. Anthony and Marian (trainee) helped me. Everything went well besides some hiccups with training which is to be expected and I didn’t mind. It wasn’t until I got home that I realized they didn’t give me the phone that I had asked for. I chocked it up as an honest mistake. Things happen when you’re helping a customer and training a new employee at the same time.I came back in today to rectify the situation and did not have a good experience. When I informed Anthony of the mistake he told me that I would have to pay a $55 restocking fee. I asked if there was anyway he could wave that fee since he had made mistake and was told only corporate or his manager could override the fee. He then said his manager was on his lunch break and he didn’t know when he’d be back. There were no other suggestions after that nor an apology for the inconvenience. He just kept repeating the same line to me like he was reading it from a book.I returned later on and the manager, I believe his name was Steven, helped me. Steven also didn’t seem apologetic. Granted I was not an authorized user at this point so I understand him not being able to help me. Yet, I was able to get the phone two days earlier just by knowing all the log in details, and that doesn’t mean all customer service skills go out the window.After being told the same thing monotonously and with no sign remorse I ended up leaving and going to the Maplewood AT&T store where I had 5 star customer service.
Kaleigh Finney: I sat here for two hours without being helped after coming in for an issue with my bill. The issue on my bill came up after I bought a new phone at this store. I was told I was getting a deal, and that it came with FREE airpods. I explicitly confirmed multiple times that there was ZERO additional cost and would not affect my monthly payment or ANY future payment and was assured they were. FREE. I discovered that the air pods were financed on my account without my consent despite multiple attempts to confirm that there would be no additional cost. I came into the store to address this and was ignored for two hours. Do not come here, they will lie to you and ignore you to avoid dealing with their lies.

And I say that with honest conviction.Steven went out of his way to make certain everything was transferred to my new phone… spending an incredible amount of time on it.Both he and Anthony were very kind, patient and informative throughout my entire customer service visit.On a follow up visit - where I had much confusion with online AT&T support-Steven walked me through it and completely cleared up my situation and my confusion.They are BOTH ROCKSTARS and I would not consider going to any other location for my AT&T needs.

I wasn't too worried about that, I just declined and got the phone I wanted. Then he placed some 200 dollar galaxy buds in the bag and said he was "throwing them in for me" and I asked very specifically if I had to pay for these, and was assured that NO I did not. Later that night I called to cancel the data plan on my iPad I no longer needed. While on the phone I found out that he had placed the Galaxy Buds on the ipad account and I was in fact paying for them, just prorated out so that I would unknowingly just pay it with an automated deduction. I have never had such a dishonest thing done to me. The other employee was not in on it. It was the man named Steven.

Terrance D: Terrible AT&T location! This store engages in "fraud and deceptive practices". We have a very old AT&T plan where we have been told by AT&T employees not to give up this plan. However, I went to this location a couple of days ago to inquire about an unlimited plan special that was online and whether additional "access" charges would apply. They answered that question with a No. They were doing some price estimates if we switched to one of the new unlimited plans. I left the location with a paper "quote" on a potential switch with a plan to come back and visit the store in June as we have several phones for which the last payment was June. At NO time did I agree to make any changes or sign any document/ipad agreeing to any changes. No authorizations for changes were made whatsoever. Later, that day I started receiving text indicating that our AT&T plan had changed to a new "unlimited plan". I was caught off guard and completely surprised. I contacted the ATT corporate office and spent 2+ hours on the phone with them. They were attempting to revert back to the plan that we previously had before unauthorized changes were made to our account. We estimate that the new plan will cost us an additional $100 per month or $1200 per year. Guessing corporate has not been able to revert our plan back to the old plan as our account is still showing the new unlimited plan. Went back to the same store today and the manager refused to help indicating that I was disrespectful for indicating I will post the way my account has been changed without authorization and the way I have been treated. I also indicated that I was considering filing a complaint with the AG for their "fraud and deceptive practices". At that point the manager indicated he would no longer help me and refused to give me his name or a business card.

There would be NO other option even though I asked him multiple times.After we left the store the SIM cards didn't work so we went to a different AT&T store in Edwardsville the next day. They looked into the plan that had been created for us and found out that the actual plan he sold us was a postpaid 95$ (each) plan.Short version: the salesman lied to us about the price, the payment methods and the different plans. DON'T GO THERE!!

Pete Willenborg: I have bought several devices at this store. The best customer service in a ATT store I've ever received. I've worked with 3 different employees and all 3 are knowledgeable in wide range of products (IPhones, Apple watch, several accessories). I live closer to 2 different ATT stores (horrible experiences), but will always give my business at this store going forward.
Gerard Iervolino: The store manager, I believe his name was Trace could not have been more helpful. He was polite, professional, and very knowledgeable regarding any questions we had. We will definitely be returning to this store for all our AT&T , phone , etc. needs.

Carolyn Burke: UPDATE SEPTEMBER 26, 2022. Received a statement that showed I did NOT get a free iPhone iWatch that was offered to me on July 23 by REGGIE. I went to the store today as instructed by AT&T Customer Service and the MANAGER told me he had to talk to REGGIE regarding the free iWatch that he offered to me and he is not here. HE IS THE MANAGER !!!!Also, I was charged for Protect Advantage AND NextUp which I did not agree to - I was charged for the iWatch. Of course, their PRINTER did not work on the day I was there in July so I never received a receipt from this AT&T Store.July 23, 2022. Watch out for REGGIE at this location. He had plenty of 'offers' but when I received my Customer Service Summary from MyAT&T it had the Protect Advantage ($17/month) which I said I did not want and AT&T Next Up ($6/month) which I was not even told about !!! I am thankful for the main AT&T Customer Service for explaining what will happen to my billing cycle each month - which will take THREE MONTHS to adjust any discounts/credits/mistakes.
Lisa Grimm: Jarvelle the manager at this location is THE BEST! He is so knowledgeable about the ins and outs of ATT and their massive bureaucracy and procedures. He knew exactly how to fix my problem after I spent 3 weeks talking to ATT directly. This is my new go to ATT store! I will tell everyone I know and scream it from the internet rooftops! I want to go back just to hang out with them!Update: Staff at this location are amazing, but AT&T is sketchy… So I was set up with the nurses phone plan and the deal was that I received a free Apple watch and pay $7.99 for it to have service but I am being charged $22.99 for my Apple watch each month despite many many calls to customer service and going in physically to try and correct this. My mother is also on my plan and both of us are also being charged more than we should for each of our phone services! I’m not blaming the individuals at this store, I just don’t trust AT&T in general and their gimmicks because they won’t honor them and then you are stuck in a 3 year contract. Wish I had just stayed in my pay as you go plan- no hidden tricky fees or sudden rate changes with that. Can’t wait til this contract is over, wouldn’t recommend AT&T contracts to anyone.
John K: Actually I didn’t go to the AT&T store but this was a service call. Yesterday a workman cut the fiber cable that supplies my high speed internet. William A., the technician, called me to say he was on his way. He got out of his truck and introduced himself which was professional and polite. I showed William the cut cable and he said he will need to run a new line and it wouldn’t take long and it didn’t. William came inside and inspected the router and checked the speeds in different parts of our home. William was very professional and efficient.
