Had a supervisor who was my coworker mad that I was in the same position as him so he decided to go in and edit my time and cut my hours. HR and the owner were made aware of this as was the Plant supervisor. I was told that he would be reprimanded and to this date he is still employed and supervising. I asked several people including upper management and HR if I had done the same thing would i still be employed and they said "No". I had threats against me from him and others that had been mad at my hiring because they felt an outsider shouldn't be hired for supervision. All of this was documented and put in my resignation letter as well. To this day my lost hours were not recouped or paid for and I had to leave because of the hostility.

Elizabeth Donnelly: I have had such a good experience with Empire Supply Co that I am back for a second round of window replacements and storm windows.I worked with Gwynn and Scott last year to replace a small set of critical windows in the basement that were drafty and broken and a set of storm windows over the original historic windows in my child's room. The whole process was smooth between the survey, the bid, and the replacement I really didn't have to worry about a thing. And now that I have the new windows and storms the difference is amazing. I called every single window supplier, manufacturer, and installer I could find in the Saint Louis area and none of them came close to Empire’s price and timeframe. One set of windows I ordered in the middle of the pandemic and was told 5 weeks and they came in 3. I ordered another set of casement windows for egress 3 weeks ago and was told they would take 6 weeks, I picked them up today. Under promise and over deliver seems to be the motto here. LaTonya Bowens: Penny Window is horrible on all levels. Do not waist your time. They came out to our home & said they will get back to us, and no return call or follow-up. I only needed a frame & not a whole window and my insurance company was paying for it. Chuck really needs to retire, he came out and never called back. I had to call them multiple times and still no response. The people answering the phone are severely confused and incoherent about what is going on. This is not how you do business, I am surprised they are still open and not closed. This was a different company years ago before the pandemic and now it is trash. I wouldn't refer anyone to Penny Window or use their cheap products you will be truly disappointed. There are other reputable companies like Window World who value new customers. This company is a disgrace to small businesses. Pay attention also to employees of the company leaving positive reviews. Pay closer attention to the unprofessional owner who hasn't responded to the negative reviews or try to have a good reputation. Instead Penny Window would rather lose customers, and put the business at risk of closing as it should be closed seriously.

They never communicated with me or the leasing company to tell us that they have the windows in I had to keep calling them so they final told me in may that I’ll be receiving a phone call to set up an appointment for installation. Welp that phone never happened my leasing company had to call an they was told that now I’m looking at some time in July. I have a 2 yr old with chronic bronchitis an my mom who just moved in with me due to her recent hospital stay an is in my home on oxygen an the heat index is set at in double an triple digits this month. JJ 328: This was my first remodel using the Wedi waterproofing system and although I could have ordered a kit through my local Home Depot, or other places, I chose Masonry & Glass Systems Inc because they had a breakdown of each part that could be ordered. I called and told them what I was planning on doing in my bathroom and they informed me of what they would recommend me getting based on design I had in mind. Turns out that if had ordered the prepackaged kit from Home Depot I wouldn't have had enough materials to do the job. neal walmer: Masonry and Glass Systems was a quick, easy, and a cheaper way for me to obtain my Wedi waterproofing supplies for a master bathroom I'm currently renovating. I made a call with my shower dimensions. They calculated the supplies needed, gave me a price delivered to my doorstep, and very quickly, the supplies were in my hands. I just completed the waterproofing yesterday and had the right amount of supplies. I could've ordered a pre-packaged shower system but this was actually cheaper for me as I required slightly fewer components than the shower kit supplied. So...saved a bit of cash and didn't have a lot left over cluttering my space. When this project is complete in a few weeks, I'll move on to my daughter's bathroom renovation where I will definitely use Masonry and Glass Systems Inc on that project as well. Total satisfaction!!

Our first meeting was with Rob, nicest guy you wanna meet. He was honest and straight forward. He let me know everything that would be needed, what would happen, what I was buying. Lee F: UPDATE: To add insult to injury, the storm windows were also installed poorly. As the weather turned cold, they started fogging up and recently, as temperatures plummeted, they have begun to ice over on the INSIDE (see photos). Windows that are installed correctly should not fog or ice on the inside as they should be sealed to prevent moisture getting in. Furthermore, we can also feel air coming in many of the windows, which did not happen with our old storm windows. While this company touted energy efficiency, it is the exact opposite. This company is a joke all around. Buyer beware!I hired STL Windows and Doors to replace 28 storm windows on my home because they were highly rated. I was told that the windows would be fully custom to fit my existing custom interior windows, however, the storm windows I received are not custom and do not line up with my existing interior windows (see photos).Honestly, I just wanted this fixed as it degrades the look of our home and is not what I ordered.What the company will tell you:1. They tried to remedy the situation, but the company they use is no longer making storm windows so there is nothing they can do.2. They apologize if the windows are not aesthetically pleasing or do not meet my expectations (disregarding the fact that they are not what I ordered).3. They pride themselves on customer service, their reputation, and their customer’s satisfaction.What I will tell you:1. When I alerted them to the issue, they said, “It is what it is.” They also told me that the storm windows only came in a 50/50 split (and not custom). I contacted the supplier myself and confirmed that the windows are available to order in custom sizes. When I told the company this, they said that they had reached out to the supplier and since they were no longer making storm windows, there was nothing they could do. I asked if there were other solutions, such as contacting another supplier, but I never received an answer to that.2. "Apologies" aside, I must now pay another company considerably more money to fix the issue caused by STL Windows and Doors.3. Their actions do not align with priding themselves on customer service. To outline a few of the particulars (without going into too much detail): they’ve blamed the original salesperson who no longer works for the company, they lied about the windows not being available in custom sizes, they then blamed me after I found out that they are available in custom sizes, a window was installed broken and has not been fixed.Please share this with family and friends to help them avoid losing money to false promises. Thank you!

I had anticipated paying full price for a new window, as one in my house was faulty. No one could/would help. I first reached out to a few places as they were close to my house. Once the first few that I contacted didn't help, I figured I would try somewhere a little further away to see if they could help.That's when I found Wholesale Siding Depot in St. Louis. I dealt with Mike Krisanic. Within one hour, he had a replacement window on order and told me that it was covered under the manufacturer's warranty. He even explained to me how to remove the old sash and install the new one. Hats off to this guy and this company. The true definition of what customer service is!

Ms. C: The secretary act as if she had an attitude that morning. I was there around 7:45 a.m. She was sarcastically trying to rush me on to pick out the glass. Then when I picked it up, the person that repaired the glass had little to none glass around the window. So the person that handed the widow frame to me he was ok. When I looked over the window frame, that's when I noticed the glack/ caulk was little to known and the window had a crack in it. He had to do it completely do it over remove the caulk/glazing off. Make me wander was this done because I'm a black woman. This company was highly recommended by my caucasian friend. I would love to had a pleasant professional treatment with them. Once they got it done correctly, the attitude was still was there. I did not get out of character at all. I was still pleasantly speaking and patience. Have a wonderful day.
