W H: I hadn't been here in a while and decided to stop after the bar for a late dinner. I got the wings and my buddy got the blue plate special which was fried chicken. All of it was delicious and the people were so friendly. The chicken dinner was super crispy, not oily and cooked perfectly. The wings were fried bare with no breading the way they should be and were excellent. I need to make this a place a regular stop in the future.

bronwyn miller: I love the patio here, and usually there's quite a few people, which is sometimes difficult to find in St. Louis. It's a nice atmosphere for the most part, but the DJ's are very hit or miss. I've gone there when they did an amazing job and I've been there when the music was so bad I left. I definitely still stop in on nights out fairly often. The cocktails are really awful though, and some of the worst liquor I've had. You're probably safer sticking to beer.

Briana Greer: We used to frequent Henry's and always had a pleasant time. It's clear that the owners have really tried to build on and add to the space and atmosphere. They've really done a good job. Unfortunately, today, we had a horrible experience. When I went to the bar to order, I waited patiently as the bartender didn't acknowledge me and serviced others who came after me first. When she did come over she was dismissive and rude. On my second trip up, I again waited patiently as I watched her walk past me to customer who had just walked up. Another acquaintance (also black) even made a comment to me about how she was looked over and ignored. My friend's boyfriend (white) came to order and the bartender again ignored me and went directly to him. When he directed her to me she was rude. I asked to close out after ordering; she ignored me. When she did come back, she was rude and slammed my check and card down with additional rude comments. I never addressed her behavior. I spoke calmly to her. All of her behavior was unwarranted and noticed by other customers. While I like Henry's, the biases of the bartender has soiled their reputation.Response: I appreciate your response. She is pictured in a different review with the dark hair. I initially assumed that she was having a bad day or was just busy. However, when other customers started audibly pointing out her behavior towards me , I knew that I had given her far beyond the benefit of the doubt. I hope the behavior has changed as I have had great experiences at Henry's otherwise.
