Food is amazing (try the cherry bombs!) and even with my shellfish allergy I’ve found plenty of items I can eat and enjoy (sans Epipen)! If you haven’t had the pleasure, Jan (the “Janager”) is the nicest, most generous, and best leader of her staff when I see her running all around the bar, kitchen and floor. Mihaela Evans: Wonderful rolls!! Got the lunch special for $13.95 and was able to get 3 nice size rolls to fill me up. The bagel roll was really delicious! It was salmon and cream cheese with a nice crispy deep fried tempura. My wife got the Rincon roll and she loved it also. Our house salads were a nice additional touch to the meal and the ginger dressing was on point. Great music to vibe with, friendly staff and overall knowledgeable about the menu. But the waiter was seemingly a bit distracted. Over all great food, but know it is a bit pricey. 90 bucks for dinner for two. Be prepared lol. Hand made and super tasty!

Sara - A Flavor Journal: Sushi Haru is easily the best sushi in South KC. The sushi is always incredibly fresh, the other food options are consistently delicious, and service is friendly. I've ordered delivery from them a few times as well, and their attention to detail when packaging to-go food is impeccable. Everything I order is consistently made exactly as expected, thoughtfully crafted, and packaged with the intention to please the recipient. I've never gone without chopsticks, soy sauce, or any other item that may be needed, as well (even when you don't ask for any, they have your back). I can't say enough good things about dining and ordering delivery from this restaurant. If you're looking for great sushi out this way, you have to visit Sushi Haru!

The food is so amazing, and I got a whole mini buffet for me and my boyfriend and it was only 100 bucks and we’re gonna have leftovers for days. Jim B: 4/26/2023 was my first visit to Sushi Haru. My first thoughts when walking in were, wow this place looks nice, clean, and well decorated. The place was larger than I thought with table choices for 2, 4, 6, or extra large booths that might seat 8 people.The crab Rangoon appetizer was perfect and the 6 crab Rangoon were at least 60% larger than I am used to seeing. Our Sushi rolls arrived about the same time we finished the appetizer. The rolls were excellent. I was surprised that they were warm and lightly fried with a delicate crisp crust on the out side. The texture and flavor were both perfect. I will be back for more very soon. I want to try all of the many roll options that they offer. In my opinion, the prices were very reasonable and a little cheaper than another place where I had Sushi a few days before I dined here.Check out their menu. They have a lot of dishes, huge Sushi roll selection, and group options.Parking: Plenty of parking with handicap and a few regular parking spaces close to the entrance.

Even more, they were able to accommodate larger (12) person group. Not many sushi places can do that. Definitely recommend trying this restaurant.Parking: There is a small lot in back and then you need to find street parking if that lot is full.

He got the teriyaki chicken bento, which came with very generous portions of rice, salad, veggie tempura and chicken and a very good miso soup. I got the two sushi roll lunch special, and while both rolls I got were good, I preferred the spicy tuna roll to the crab roll.We were seated right away and our table was nicely shaded even though we were buy the window. Jenifer Calandra: We ordered two bento box dinners for take out, and both our selections were delicious! The Katsu chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the sushi was clearly prepared by someone with incredible knife skills. The sushi fish was fresh and didn’t smell fishy and old like it does at some other local establishments. The bento boxes also came with miso soup, salad, and two crab rangoons, all of which was also fresh and tasty. Even the rice side was fluffy and good! Will definitely be ordering from here again!

Laurel Jensen: My husband and I ordered several rolls of sushi for take-out. We were disappointed by the size of the rolls compared with how much we paid ($40). We classed it up at home using some of our own fun dishes.We might try one of their soups sometime while dining in—my husband saw a couple eating soup at a table while he was waiting for our food; the quality and amount looked much better for the price. Not satisfied with our experience here yet, but I will update the review if we try it again and enjoy a better experience.

Eunice went well above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, including our drinks and extra sauce. If there is one thing about me I do not play when it comes to my sauce.
