Yoki: what do users think?
Trinity Armstrong: I was on my way back from a pride event in St Joseph mo with friends this past sunday and we stopped there, it's fun and cute and I found a really cool one piece music box that I purchased and I love it.
Paige Sato: Love this place! It has everything Japanese! The snacks are what I usually go for
Camilla Kachar: Sadly considering the size of the place they didn’t have much. A huge section was for food/snacks/drinks which to me feels unnecessary considering there is an Asian grocery store right across the street. Wish they had more stationary, stickers, and harder to find things.
matthew norton: Very nice place have neat things
Selena Marie: I really love visiting this store for their Japan and Anime products but the only thing I do not like is the customer service. Every time I go in there they don't say anything at all as well as just not friendly at all.
Lovely Libran 1717: They have lots of Cool items in the store that are monogrammed and other personal items specifically for the shoppers as well as snacks specifically Asian!
Neida Cornejo: It was so cute, they had a pusheen collection at the front with snacks all over. It was relatively smaller than I thought it would be.
Brooke sherwood: Lots of people say that the cashiers are rude, and I do agree, they usually are quite snappy. The items are overpriced, some are super overpriced. Never the less it is still a very fun place to shop at.
Kawaii Porpoise: This cute little Asian novelty store is awesome! It has drinks and snacks imported straight from Japan. A good number of anime and cultural memorabilia is sold here at VERY good price. Other little novelties sold here as well: keychains, magazines, beauty products, jewelry, etc. Such a fun cute little store!
Wendy Smith: It's okay.
Chris Carver: Friendly staff, lots of unique items.
tiffany ponce: Really enjoyed this place. To summarize they had a lot of specialized items from Japan such as origami paper, ramune sodas, a assorted kit Kat flavors, stationary items and a selection of plushies. Gutetama ones were super cute. 10/10 would visit again.
Scott West: Liked it
Felipe Ham: Pretty cool with a lot of asian candy, toys and other products.
Anahid Shook: This place was wonderful when it came to Japanese snacks and drinks! Yes, everything is more money than going to a convenience store, but only by one to two dollars! And trust me, it is so delicious and well-worth the money! They also have trinkets, plushies, and other platewares. Honestly, it made me miss our trip Japan and I loved it!
Donald Ramirez: Excellent store. The customer service left room for growth. The cashier did not seem friendly nor outgoing but it may have just been a rough day. Rhe selection if items were excellent.
AnnaRose Leonard: Fun place with unique items inside.
zach [REDACTED]: Awesome store. Although it is very expensive. The worker there didn't give us much attention. She was on her phone and only talked when she was ringing up our order. I'm sure if there was a different worker I'd be much happier with my experience.
Ashley Stevens: We still love this store, though have found their prices to be a bit unreasonable for some merchandise. Some is absolutely reasonable. Was able to find a honey lemon drink I have searched high and low for since visiting Thailand, in other Asian stores with no luck.Their Pusheen collection is great but you may find better on Amazon.
Emily (Selkie): Honestly for all the hype surrounding this store, the product selection is really disappointingly lackluster. Prices seemed comparable to other Asian markets, at least on the chopsticks/kitchenware?
Glenn Bisbee: It cool

Komatsu Ramen: what do users think?
Smile HD: I love this place, me and my friends go here all the time for a big delicious bowl of ramen. Their hours have certainly been obliterated by covid, but hopefully that will change eventually. Other than that, great place. Would recommend.Edit: Didn't make it in time for their last day. Will be missed.
Nikki: Greeted promptly and seated in a booth. Only weird part was a big wall beside us with a very small little box window at the top. My friend had her 1 year old and we had to ask for a height chair, get our own napkins and silverware when the food arrived. Table had a sticky residue that we had to wipe down. Now the food was amazing and made up for the other parts that were lack luster. For appetizers we had the Chicken Buns and it was hot and fresh. Buns were very soft and the miso aioli was full of flavor. For dinner I ordered the Asahi Ramen. Smoked brisket, ginger, corn, spinach, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots and egg. I was worried it wouldn't mix well together, however it mixed perfectly well. Full of spices, brisket was incredibly tender and the eggs were actually great. I was worried it would be like a jelly texture, however it was more hard boiled texture. We'll definitely be back!!!
Yi E. Lu: Never again! Can you imagine a restaurant’s bathroom has NO SOAP and NO paper towel? Table are sticky, food are terrible! I don’t wanna know how the food were prepared! Health department needs to re-inspect this place.
Steven Hendricks: Absolutely horrible experience. When we first came in, We stood at the entrance for 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us or the other 6 couples waiting on the entrance. The staff were cussing and yelling back and forth at each other lacking all professionalism. I ordered a #22 Which is suppered to come with bean sprouts and bamboo sprouts. They brought my food, sat it down and it had no bean sprouts at all and about 4 small pieces of bamboo shoot. When the server came back I asked why there was no bean sprouts, the server responded “oh we are out”! Never told me that when I ordered and didn’t tell me when they gave me my food. The egg in the ramen tasted bad. They only had one server on staff as well. Will never be comping back. There are far better Ramen Restaurant Choices in Kansas City and Lawrence. Also when I went to the toilet and went to wash my hands the faucets literally lifted off the sink. Tried the next sink over and exact same thing, Faucet just lifted off the sink. There was no running water in either sink
Michael luce (Tine): Arrived at 5:15pm to all doors locked, no signs up and other guests inside eating. Tables not full.
Eric Chamberlain: Amazing food, wonderful staff
Chris Thurlow: Great atmosphere and attitude. Food is always on point, will be coming back for sure!!
Anthony Fredericks: Food was awesome and the staff was great!
A S: Don't waste your money just boil your own egg and put it in the broth of ramuin noodles. Not very expensive but not worth it appetizers too high
Toni: Dine in: Yes Delivery: NoMore
Philip Bushman: Super cozy and the Feng Shui is ON POINT! The food is dynamite, and further enhanced by the pleasant staff. Wish I was local😋
Keno Davidson: They appear to be closed despite Google saying they are open
yolanda m: This is usually my go to place for ramen. Many options to choose from and the brisket buns are a must try. I love that the booths feel pretty private. And overall a pretty chill atmosphere.
MaGarrett Kubach: Called and confirm time that was closing when got to the restaurant doors are locked and they were closed. If you guys are going to close at a different time, you might as well edit your website because that is not good for business. The ramen is good but services terrible. Not the first time that this has happened. Highly dissatisfied with this place. Do not recommend
Kevin Medina: Hours are not correct on here. Came here (4/30) at 8:00 and the doors are locked. All lights are on but no one is there. No one answered the phone either. No sign posted on the door. Weird
ISCEL A: Not the place if you are in a rush. Food was decent. Servers were pleasant. Large comfortable booths.Dine in: Yes …More
Juwan Williams: Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: No Takeout: YesMore
Emilye Huey: THE BEST RAMEN IVE EVER HADDine in: Yes Outdoor seating: No …More
DeMarea D. Whitelyons: This once was my favorite restaurant for quite some time. I’ve ate just about everything on the menu twice with virtually no complaints and delicious meals every trip. Now it seems I can never dine in since their hours are now all over the place and seem to never be open when I try and swing by. Today is 03/27/22 and they appear to be closed when I drove pass however the website states 12am it’s 9pm. It’s been months without my Komatsu Ramen that I now make my own at home. I hope for the best but as of now I’m heartbroken.
Amie Barrodale: Not great.
Chance Palmer: Absolutely delicious, has a great feel. We arrived at an off time and they had a big party so I suspect my winter was distracted (party of 15 and us), so our young waiter was thrown off a bit. If you're looking for delicious Ramen and steam buns, pull the trigger

Sama Zama: what do users think?
Robert Martin: Food was good. I thought hospitality was nice when the door was opened for me upon arrival. Then I noticed the note on the back of the door instructing customers to please not open the door for people. Then I watched as a man and his two kids approached and was turned away. I didn't hear the reason but he had a confused look on his face. Then a guy beat the waitress to the door and I realized it was locked, but he was let in. Then other people were let in with no problem. It raised enough of a flag that I immediately came to check reviews. I now understand it's not hospitality door opening, it's gate keeping.
Garrett Allaman: Truly one of my favorite places to eat. My favorite dish is the spicy miso pork ramen, it has an excellent balance between flavor and spice. If I'm really hungry I'll get the nabeyaki udon. The nabeyaki udon is a ton of food and has a really awesome presentation, I love bringing friends here and watching their face when it comes out of the kitchen. The staff is very friendly which is another reason I come back to this place. The space is small, comfortable, and has a fun aestetic. If you are showing up with a group make sure you call ahead because seating is limited.
Silverduck: Food was amazing and the person who served us gave us suggestions on what to eat.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
andy leotaud: Edit: after reading other reviews I’m pretty sure this place doesn’t allow people with kids to come inside. Drove an hour to come here on the weekend with my family. Walked up to the door during the hours posted on the door and it was locked. Worker came out and told us they only take reservations on the weekend and to leave. No where is this mentioned on their website or even on the front door. There was only one person sitting in the restaurant at the time we went
Gabriella Mcdowell: I came to eat here was the only one in the restaurant. They keep the door locked so they have to open it for anyone coming in. As I was sitting down eating a couple with an infant came to be let in and were told they have a big reservation coming so they were closed to public…as I was in there. Then a couple came a few minutes after and they let them in no issue. So let me to believe they literally denied someone service because they had a child with them so I’d say not family friendly at all.
arieal lewis: This place was five stars all around great service and great food. The food came out quickly and was beautiful and very tasty. 100% can't wait to come back here when we're in KC again.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Angela Nguyen: The food was tasty, i couldn’t believe something like this was here in the midwest! i am thankful for this. I had tonkatsu and my boyfriend had the spicy miso ramen. We also ordered takoyaki as an appetizer. the vibes were also so uplifting, peaceful, and friendly. truly a hidden gem, hoping to stop by when momo sweets are open!
Tim Sanders: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Pork Katsu CurryMore
J Bern: I ordered the fried chicken curry and it came out quickly and was very tasty. The waitress was very nice. Their drinks are non refillable and water bottles will cost you $1 each but you are able to bring your own drink! I would recommend this place for smaller groups of 4 or less. It looked like there was a sweets shop in the same building, unfortunately they were closed when we went.
James: This is officially my favorite restaurant in KC! The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly, with beautiful art on the walls and lots of natural light. Everything on the menu looks amazing and was obviously curated by the owner with a lot of care. The salmon onigiri was a great starter, the shrimp and calamari were so fresh and cooked perfectly, and the sasadango dessert imported from Japan was light and refreshing. The person who served our food was so nice and gave us recommendations for our food, which I really appreciated. This is a great place to go if you want fairly priced, delicious food that won't make you feel heavy afterwards. I feel very happy knowing I supported a small business and an owner who has very caringly brought fantastic and fresh Japanese cuisine to KC.
Miranda Owens: Super tasty onigiri and calamari!! The person working was so nice and sweet and helped us pick the perfect meal!
Shelby Shelton: I wish I could give more stars to this place. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had in KC. The food was out of this world. Got the curry, gyoza and dessert as well! Between my husband and I we probably ordered half the menu!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Takoyaki, Potstickers Gyoza, Soda …More
Lisa Wolf: It was my first visit here. The food and staff were amazing. They have a note on the door saying they are short staffed and to be patient, but we couldn't even tell they were short staffed.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Ronald Lopez: AMAZING! I only heard of this place by word of mouth and tried it. Ramen dishes are amazing and are my favorite as well as the appetizers. Why is this place not busy? Food is amazing no matter what you decide on. Place is nice and clean and the staff are super friendly. If you enjoy Japanese cuisine, this is a hidden gem in KCMO. Never made a google review and it made me make one. Now that says something about this place.
Fabio Suave: Love the chicken katsu curry!! Everything on the menu looks so good I'm most definitely going to have to come back more for new dishes. And the lady who runs the front is so nice you can tell she's working hard to keep the place in order she moves so quickly. Everyone should stop by and try something to show support.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Will Lenzen Jr: Some of the best ramen and kara age chicken I’ve had. The space was clean and service was kind and attentive too. Highly recommend! 🍜
James Calcara: My favorite restaurant in KC. The owners are extremely kind and the food is incredible. The spicy tonkotsu ramen, gyoza, and takoyaki are a must!Vegetarian options: Many!Parking: Solid lot
Sean Coffman: Wonderful restaurant with consistently delicious food. An easy choice if you're looking for the best ramen in the city, and likely the best non-sushi Japanese food. Not only is the food great, but the atmosphere inside is second to none.
Taylor Whittemore: Absolutely cannot recommend this place enough! The food was delicious, and the setting was so comforting.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot …More

Hung Vuong Market: what do users think?
Tanya J: Fresh asian veggies!
Sad Mob: Best Asian market in KC. Much better prices, huge selection and great deals on unique produce
Stacey Heath: This is my go-to market when I'm low on Asian ingredients and foods because they have a wide variety of items and are well stocked. They have ready-to-eat foods, baked goods and desserts; A large variety of meats; A large variety of produce; A large variety of Southest Asian ingredients/items, and more. Plus, the ladies working the cashiers up front are sweet! I especially enjoy the fresh produce. However, just a heads up that you risk visiting when the produce/fruits are at the end of their shelf life. I do wish they would swap out the old with the new sooner, BUT overall, still a great place to shop.
Jackson: Good variety
Jesse Vega: This place is awesome!!
Analyn Campbell: Good workers and I got most of the Asian food I need.
AJ Dawn: Wide selection of produce and such from Asia, Africa and the Caribbean. Little pricey, but worth it.
Richard vang: Old building but it had everything I needed, great Asian store.
Erin Larson: Great Asian foods and other household items here to make also pre-made items are yummy!!!
Rodney Blackwell: Always love coming to this store and shopping. I learn something new on nearly every visit. Excellent selection and expert help when you need it. I wish I knew what all the interesting produce is, and how to prepare it. There is an abundance and it's all so very fresh.
Tracy: The area is hard to turn to and can't tell where the front entrance is, parking is hard with uneven pavement. The worker wasn't nice at all, was wanting to order boba and he just walked away. Price for things are a bit higher. Can't tell where they kept their fresh vegetables. Just a small and old supermarket, probably for locals.
Jenny Lucas: Great selection of fresh vegetables, Homemade food to go and Tons of Asian noodles and meat.
Damond Viers: It's the costcos of Asian markets.
Brian Terkildsen: No returns, no exchanges.
Jennifer Strobel: They have a very good selection of various Asian cuisines. There is a bit of an odor to the store.
Tinah Harden: I've shopped there for years. Sometimes, the items aren't priced appropriately. Get to the cash register, price is different or more than expected. I had to pay whatever was in the system. I will continue to patronize.
Akimi Weller: Lots of variety of Asian foods/items.
Linda Outlaw Gilbow: Great variety, great employees
Sekundino Ngiraingas: The employee are friendly and kind
Irish Racion: They have lots of meat options, pork, duck, beef and more. Huge cut or pieces of pork belly and fish. Fresh or frozen they have it. If you're a filipino, there's not much of filipino products here. Depending on the season, vegetables can be fresh or old. Prices are a bit cheaper than other stores. They have some fresh cooked food ready to eat and asian cooking wares. It's worth a visit. This place is bigger than other asian store.
Ben Simpson: I love the variety & wonderful atmosphere of this unique store.

Columbus Park Ramen Shop: what do users think?
subdivide: I enjoyed the Tokatsu the last time I was there, which was over 3 years ago. Hours say temporarily closed, and the store has been closed for some time. Any update on the re-opening or will it shutter forever? I'd like a chile bomb-omb.... maybe, you never know. But Broth is life.
Kristina Piccolo: Still to this day, I'm hoping this place opens again. It was such a unique and special place and it was nothing short of magical and cozy (not to mention the AMAZING food). I do hope one day I can go back and, even for just for one more time, could experience this place and it's beautiful dining experience again.
Jose Byrd: Although I am adventurous with my restaurant selections, I've never ventured to try a noodle shop....until now! What an outstanding option for my first foray. The ambiance has great energy, love the decor. The staff was helpful in answering all my questions. I opted to take their suggestion and tried the mushroom bowl with a marinated egg. Deliciousness abound! The serving was plentiful and provided lunch for the next day. Will definitely return AND continue my education in the world of noodles!
Ben Adams: Love this place, hope it opens again soon.
Sujal Shah: Excellent service, consistently great-tasting broth, and my most favorite thing... they clearly know how to pack take-out orders! Trust them for a delicious meal, paired with some great foreign beer options to pair with.
Lloyd Jasper: After a long day of looking at real estate our friends brought us here for dinner. It was a delicious first ramen experience. We love the cozy little space and the ramen warmed us right up as it filled our hungry bellies. Between all of us we had the Kimchi, chicken and pork bowls. A couple of us added the chili bomb and chili oil. It was all delicious.
Dalton Klieber: This ramen hits the soul spot every single time. Some of the most comforting food I can think to get. Love this food!
Joe Rosenthal: I really liked this place. Don't pass on the daily pickle plate. The variety of vegetables and pickling styles is wonderful.
Scott Schmidt: One of the best restaurants in the city.
Maria Ahumada: As fans of Happy Gillis that is the sister restaurant of this noodle shop we were hoping for fun, quirky and fresh food. We were not disappointed. The shoyu eggs were fantastic unami flavor bombs and a perfect compliment to the tasty broth and homemade noodles. We enjoyed outdoor sidewalk dining and will most definitely be back.
Gerry Pickett: The most authentic ramen I have found in KC so far. Their TONKATSU has the buttery goodness that comes from the long 30 hour broth.
Jalie Uzynski: The miso mushroom is so delicious and my husband loved the spicy dan dan noodles and everything was reasonably priced, which you don't always get at ramen shops. We will definitely be back!
Josh Anderson: Great atmosphere! Also best Ramen in town.
patrick neky: Kinda felt overrated. Broth was good but the noodles felt undercooked. A little pricey for the overall product and cramped atmosphere. Perhaps a one time experience but would try somewhere else before going back.
Mario U.: Soooo good
Sean “SoCalSgt” Evans: Not authentic at all. About 90 percent sure the noodles are just plan ol spaghetti. Kimchi ramen is too over bearing.
geezerfetus: Ramen this good is hard to find. Not just the Ramen is amazing. Their house pickle side is a must. Then a spectacular beer selection! Oh and I can't not mention the Kimchi! They could just sell that kimchi alone and I'd be happy. We have gone two times. We will end up going way more. Hopefully the mustard greens kimchi find its way on the menu 😍
Zach Underwood: This is the best little hidden gem! And also the best ramen I've had, period! It's a small place though, so be prepared to wait when it's busy. If you go later (after 8 in the winter) they aren't all that busy and you will get seated quickly.
katie carlson: This place is laid back and everything on the menu is delicious. My favorite place for noodles
Hansaka Perera: Great small place! Loved the food. Seating can be uncomfortable and crammed but food makes it worth it.
Jamie Poe: The best ramen in the city hands down. I'll be dreaming about that mushroom miso.

Cosentino's Market: what do users think?
Reina Murray: Love this place
Jeff Newby: I've slowly watched this place go downhill and it's unfortunate. The people at the deli and sandwich area are very rude and not helpful. Cashiers are fantastic.
Annette Rasmussen: Great bakery, made delicious hot sandwiches on the spot, marvelous shopping expy!
Henry Williams: Wonderful family-owned store with lots of local history. Can't put my finger on it but there's an old fashioned Italian-American vibe to the place. Was skeptical of their cannoli but they made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
Tom Shoemaker: We were staying in an apartment downtown and this was our go to grocery stop. Beer, wine, bakery, produce and a great deli. We became addicted to their deli's Mac n cheese.
Mea Frank: I've been going here for years and the amount of dog traffic is becoming more frequent. I can see for a blind person but, just on the regular around open cold sandwiches/hot food and just the food in general is unsanitary.Plus one of the cashiers was petting a dog that came through the line without washing her hands another time. She got mad because I asked her to at least sanitize her hands and told me, "To get out her line!" because she was in the wrongI don't think it's fair that animals are freely roaming through a grocery store...Is this a Health Code Violation?
Michelle c. Trimble: Their deli section is absolutely amazing. The store is clean, employees friendly shelves fronted, faced and shockingly stocked...lol. only gave 4 out of 5 stars due to lack of variety. It's brand name or bust here, so expect to pay for the nice curb appeal.
John Groves: Allows unprofessional employees to cuss out customers. Management was informed and they allowed it. ....... Very disappointed in the unprofessional and uneducated staff they have dealing with customers.
Rupert Young: Nice upscale grocery store. Has lots of premade food options that are decent.
Deniz Ender: Great market with gourmet selection of pastries and to go items. Loved their vegetables and fruit selections as well.
Samuel Shannon: Loved it
alexa harville: Very rude staff, other than that very nice market.
Robert Barrone: One would think that someone on staff would know the code for the men's restroom. I guessed wrong, I had a slight emergency while shopping and was told I was out of luck. I had to walk 2 blocks at 10:30AM to find one open. Pitiful customer service. I appreciate not wanting the restroom to be a public one, but for NO STAFF MEMBER to know the code is stupid, ridiculous and unprofession.
Sean Debelak: Love the selection
Daniel Robertson: I like the place.clean has what I need a little pricey but what isn't anymore.
Erwin Milanes: Very nice and clean local market in Kansas City Missouri 😊
kirk cavenaugh: Kelly is the worst
Rob Driskill: This is a really nice market and deli in the middle of downtown. The deli area has a great selection of food you can get to go or sit at one of the tables they have on a small dining area. They also have an amazing selection of desserts if like us you are just looking for something to satisfy a sweet tooth.
Benjamin Moore: I just left the Main St. Kansas City, MO location of Cosentino’s Market. The male cashier was quite unhelpful and short. When I walked up to the register, he spoke and rang me up. I selected the $20 cash back option and said, “It would be great if I could get two 10’s.” He said - in a very cold and short tone might I add - “I’ll have to see I have that.” Which, of course, I know that. It wasn’t what he said but how he said it. He opened the register and had no 10’s. So I asked for four 5’s, which he then gave me. The next customer - who was a White male - was greeted warmly by the cashier with, “Hey! How’re ya doin’? Do you need your parking validated?” As you could imagine, I was caught by surprise, because I received none of that courtesy and warmth. Also, see the picture I’ve attached. Quite disturbing. Why do I post it and bring light to it? Because this is a hint into the culture and mindset of this establishment. As a cast member of a major musical tour that is in town, it is immensely disheartening to tour this country and experience people’s bias, racism, and inequities. The same people - who quite possibly came to enjoy my performance on stage - treat me differently when I patronize a local business. What a shame! I hope you examine your policies and employees and ensure that they treat ALL PEOPLE with care and respect. It’s 2023 - time to do better.
Deron H.: It’s not the best place to hang or eat out in the store if you're dark skin.
Mauree-Jeff H.: Just traveling through KC and found this place. Great place for prepared food and easy to make meals.

Bridget Lopez: After sitting almost an hour all they did was comp our drinks,, no food. Not worth the trip I don’t recommend this restaurant especially being the only BLACK couple in the restaurant and not served. I’m not sure why we where the only table in the place that was over looked being at the door close to the register.
Anthony Conaway: Prefer here over Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse. Just my opinion. I had the chicken and shrimp.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Teppanyaki …More

Nikki Myers: I haven’t even gotten my food yet and I can already tell this is the worst service I’ve ever received in any restaurant EVER! We have been here for 40 minutes and all the service we have received was our drink order but the table next to us that arrived after us with more ppl have their appetizers and meal already… what’s wrong with this? And now after an hour plus! With no service 🖕🏿Don’t eat here ever
Eunice P: The rolls seem to taste very similar because the fish was all a bit mushy. It’s not terrible, but I can definitely tell that we are not near the ocean.Recommended dishes Assorted Sushi, Roll …More
Brad S: Salmon roe was my favorite. Nice selection and beautiful presentation.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Robert Keough: Update 3/31/23. Yep. Still best in KC. Still no natto but maybe some day. No natto in any sushi joint I've found so far in town. Fried gyoza dumplings are nearly as good as my former mother in law used to make. To be fair, nobody's as good.I've tried all the sushi joints in this area and in my opinion this place is the best hands down. Sushi always tastes fresh. Even when we're eating at the hibachi tables, I always have to have a little sushi too. Gets pretty busy on weekends especially. Further evidence of the quality of this restaurant. So call ahead reservations are highly recommended. All the folks there are friendly and make you feel welcome. Especially Kim and Jay. They take pride in what they do and always welcome you with a smile. You can also have the same meals they prepare at the hibachi brought to you at a table if you want to have a more intimate dining experience. Just as tasty but you don't get to catch shrimp in your mouth.Try the fried dumplings. Just as good as my ex mother in law's Japanese gyoza. The only thing they don't have is natto - Japanese fermented soy beans. But then, I've yet to find a Japanese steakhouse that offers it.

Sushi Haru: what do users think?
Mihaela Evans: Wonderful rolls!! Got the lunch special for $13.95 and was able to get 3 nice size rolls to fill me up. The bagel roll was really delicious! It was salmon and cream cheese with a nice crispy deep fried tempura. My wife got the Rincon roll and she loved it also. Our house salads were a nice additional touch to the meal and the ginger dressing was on point. Great music to vibe with, friendly staff and overall knowledgeable about the menu. I would definitely return back for more. 👍🏻🔥💯🍣❤
Cheryl Pound: So glad to find this place. Fresh fresh food. Large menu. Immaculately clean.
simone biles: came here and it was so good I would die to come here again so good
Brad Dieckmann: This was my first visit and it was a nice experience. I had some cloudy sake which wasn't that great. We tried a variety special. And the sushi was bomb dot com. The sashimi was okay. But the waiter was seemingly a bit distracted. Over all great food, but know it is a bit pricey. 90 bucks for dinner for two. Be prepared lol. Hand made and super tasty!
Anna Jackson: Sushi and cocktails great. Horrible fried rice, seasoning on hibachi was bleh.Recommended dishes Sushi …More
Jonna Nevins: I recently went to Sushi Haru for a small celebration, and I had the sushi and sashimi dinner. The fish was fresh and flavorful, and the rolls were beautifully presented. I also had the sake, which was smooth and flavorful. The service was excellent. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, and she made sure that we had everything we needed. We had a great time at Sushi Haru, and I would definitely recommend it for a small celebration. Here are some of the things I love about Sushi Haru:The food is fresh and delicious. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. The prices are reasonable. If you're looking for a great place to celebrate a special occasion, I highly recommend Sushi Haru. Sara - A Flavor Journal: Sushi Haru is easily the best sushi in South KC. The sushi is always incredibly fresh, the other food options are consistently delicious, and service is friendly. I've ordered delivery from them a few times as well, and their attention to detail when packaging to-go food is impeccable. Everything I order is consistently made exactly as expected, thoughtfully crafted, and packaged with the intention to please the recipient. I've never gone without chopsticks, soy sauce, or any other item that may be needed, as well (even when you don't ask for any, they have your back). I can't say enough good things about dining and ordering delivery from this restaurant. If you're looking for great sushi out this way, you have to visit Sushi Haru!
Syd Alexander: I’ve always loved sushi but never had this place so I just ordered it on DoorDash. The food is so amazing, and I got a whole mini buffet for me and my boyfriend and it was only 100 bucks and we’re gonna have leftovers for days. Arrived super fast and it’s the best sushi I’ve had out of any place I’ve been to. Definitely get sushi haru if you want something fast, cheap, but perfect.Edit: I got food poisoning from this never mind, still best tasting sushi tho
Jim B: 4/26/2023 was my first visit to Sushi Haru. My first thoughts when walking in were, wow this place looks nice, clean, and well decorated. The place was larger than I thought with table choices for 2, 4, 6, or extra large booths that might seat 8 people. The crab Rangoon appetizer was perfect and the 6 crab Rangoon were at least 60% larger than I am used to seeing. Our Sushi rolls arrived about the same time we finished the appetizer. The rolls were excellent. I was surprised that they were warm and lightly fried with a delicate crisp crust on the out side. The texture and flavor were both perfect. I will be back for more very soon. I want to try all of the many roll options that they offer. In my opinion, the prices were very reasonable and a little cheaper than another place where I had Sushi a few days before I dined here.Check out their menu. They have a lot of dishes, huge Sushi roll selection, and group options.Parking: Plenty of parking with handicap and a few regular parking spaces close to the entrance.

BX Girl: The sushi I noticed is hit or miss sometimes its on point sometimes its made sloppy so we don't go often ANYMORE it's hard to accept when you are spending the same money and it's kinda pricey so you ALWAYS WANT GOOD SERVICE and sometimes the young people at the register of course are stuck on them CELLPHONES so than there's thatFood: 2/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Roll …More

Violet Simmons: Great place to eat. The staff are always friendly. The food is awesome it's definitely some of the best sushi I have ever had. I literally drove an hour and a half to eat at this place multiple times. They also have pick up which I used and it was really easy and the food was still awesome. They also have delivery I haven't had a chance to try because of where I live but I'm sure it's just as good.

Sayachi Sushi: what do users think?
Carmen Ching: I would not call it a Japanese restaurant. Extremely overpriced with inauthentic food. Rice in nigiri did not stick together at all. Fish didn’t taste fresh. The $21 grilled fish combo, was made with a piece of bland tilapia with a lime wedge, mentioned in another comment. Didn’t even have the basic Japanese pickles in the meals. Miso soup was terrible with a bitter taste. My boyfriend and I had a stomachache after eating in this restaurant.
Michael Adamson-Kauffman: Delicious food! Our server, Jessica, was OK but somewhat crispy...they have this weird/cute robot delivering food to tables...nice gimmick...sweet reverse HH on Fridays and Saturdays from 800-1000 pm, but be diligent to ensure that your check is correct? Chloé White: Sushi here is always fresh and really innovative -- Japanese with a Mexican twist (if you love Jarocho, you'll love this sister restaurant!). Plus, a robot delivers your food!
Olivia Farmer: I cannot say enough good things about Sayachi Sushi! We sat at the sushi bar and had a very personable and enjoyable experience talking with the chef. We will definitely be back!

Audra Spiven: LOVE Sayachi. Eat there weekly. The chirashi bowl at lunch is the BEST. Their traditional and specialty rolls also make a superb dinner, which my husband and I indulge together from time to time, but I like to go by myself for lunch once a week. 🧡Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Eric Thomas: Always great service, great sushi.
Luka Galentas: Husband and I had ebisu ramen, a maki roll and miso. Food was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Atmosphere is lovely, and service was great. Other ramen shops in KC could take some notes from this place!
MJ Layne: Absolutely adorable little restaurant. I've been here every time I visited KC. Ramen is magnificent, though one could probably appreciate a few more flavor options in the ramen. Sushi is excellent, and I have no idea where they got the brilliant recipe for their crab rangoon filling, but it's unique and flavorful and not at all a cream cheese filling. ALSO, don't forget the amazing robot that brings you your meal.Parking: There's not a lot of parking spots near the restaurant, you do have to find a place and walk if you go at dinner time. Don't park at the Price Chopper, they watch the lot for people parking there to go other places.
Ale Bar: Food: 1/5|Service: 4/5More
kevin2themax (kevin2themax): The crab Rangoons here are incredible. Ended up getting the ramen lunch special. Perfectly subtle. Great wait staff
Jill Lenox: Best sushi in KC. Not trying to be trendy - just high quality sushi and service. Ebi Shiso Age appetizer is wonderful and unique - I also love the spicy crab roll even though if it's a just a spicy California Roll!
