Jenifer Calandra: We ordered two bento box dinners for take out, and both our selections were delicious! The Katsu chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the sushi was clearly prepared by someone with incredible knife skills. The sushi fish was fresh and didn’t smell fishy and old like it does at some other local establishments. The bento boxes also came with miso soup, salad, and two crab rangoons, all of which was also fresh and tasty. Even the rice side was fluffy and good! Will definitely be ordering from here again!
Laurel Jensen: My husband and I ordered several rolls of sushi for take-out. We were disappointed by the size of the rolls compared with how much we paid ($40). We classed it up at home using some of our own fun dishes.We might try one of their soups sometime while dining in—my husband saw a couple eating soup at a table while he was waiting for our food; the quality and amount looked much better for the price. Not satisfied with our experience here yet, but I will update the review if we try it again and enjoy a better experience.

kate debenedetti: Pretty low quality and expensive for what u get. Super disappointed with what looked like packaged ramen with just a few vegetables sprinkled in and some very old brown spotted asparagus in the tempura. Service was not super enthusiastic either. Definitely won’t be coming back here. Jun’s on Stateline is so much better AND friendly!

Jonathan Ross: While based on reviews, time, and distance, we were not going to go here, the wife and I certainly were. We are in town on a trip and wanted sushi. The only complaint we could have was parking which is not their fault.The prices on food were more than reasonable3 dollar soda6 dollar basic sushi rolls14 dollar dinner bento boxes2 dollar soups.To start, the miso and onion soup wasn't just broth and 1 leaf of seaweed or tofu. But what I felt was a fair mix, about 75% of broth and 25% of seaweed, tofu mushrooms, etc (depending on the soup choice), the sushi were larger than average. And the bento box was amazing. The fish all tasted fresh, felt like nothing was prepared ahead of time but made fresh.The staff could only be described as some of the best. Friendly and accommodating. My wife is used to a roll back home in Iowa and the server and chefs were willing to modify their existing basic rolls by adding cream cheese to make it like we were home. It definitely made our night.Our server. Jackson, was also very kind and patient with us as we as out of towners took longer than our usual to order as we discovered the menu.The soda did not taste watered down at all which was also refreshing to see they were using the right coke to soda water mix. I would recommend this to anyone who wanted a good amount of food to quality ratio. Just plan for extra time to walk here or to find parking. We ended up after 30 minutes parking about 3 blocks away which wasn't bad but definitely my only complaint.Parking: Parking was difficult to come by

I got sushi both times and loved it, and I drank a scorpion the second time and it was lovely. The first time we got the appetizer that is pork on a stick (I can't remember what it's called); it had a sweet taste that worked really well for it. Rachel Weimer: This place used to be so much better when they had their sushi bar open. It just seemed more lively. The food was just meh. The miso soup was definitely lacking flavor and they over cooked the chicken and salmon. Also the yellow sauce wasn't the best. Salad was OK, veggies were good. Overall I think it's gone downhill over the last several years. I personally would go to Wasahi (which is where we were going but they weren't open for another 2 hours so we went here inatead). Still good service and staff, just lacking in environment and good food.

Seth Lewis: Came here for dinner. Got the steak and chicken with white rice. For the price, you get a decent amount. Enough to bring home leftovers.The chef was very polite and funny.It was pretty cold in the building with it being in the 40s outside. The soup didn’t have much of a flavor and the noodles were just spaghetti noodles that didn’t taste very good either. Rather difficult to eat.I would come here again though.
