Alpha Montessori School: what do users think?
L C: Alpha is like our son's second home. He is loved and cared for there by amazing educators and above all he loves going.Alpha's teachers are Montessori certified, have been there for many years, some 20+, which speaks to the fact just how amazing it truly is. Alpha provides a welcoming community for all families and for children of all levels. They work with your children and meet them where they are at.Children participate in engaging activities throughout the day but also are a part of many unique experiences at select times throughout the year. For example, Eagle Bear's presentation! It's a memorable experience for all!Alpha is also very affordable. Tuition even includes weekly dance class taught by a local dance educator, a weekly music class taught by an award-winning musician, weekly yoga classes, and an amazing once a month cooking class with Yaya. To highlight what the kids learn throughout the year, Alpha even has annual music and dance performances where the kids are able to show their friends and family what they've been working on in dance and music class. For a small amount more you could add a weekly Happy Feet soccer lesson. If you are interested I would recommend taking a tour or speaking with any of the Alpha parents. We decided on Alpha after our first tour. You could tell that the owner was genuinely excited to have our child there and didn't view him as just another paying customer.-Mom of 3rd year Alpha student
Ian Arnold: Great little school for our little one.
H. C.: Great school for the kids,
Sheila Bethel: The Teachers are the greatest!!!!

Kansas City Christian School: what do users think?
Ben Robinson: Overall, this school is a fantastic environment and safe place where your children can feel free to express themselves and their creative passions. Unfortunately, as this is a small school, there are some limits to athletic programs, but that does not mean that the school is un-athletic. the soccer and baseball programs are both excellent and provide your child with enough fitness training to be able to climb Mt. Everest. The school has incredible theater and music programs as well. Brian Miller is both an experienced actor and director, and he makes incredible shows every fall and spring. Trent Tinker is the band director, and he never fails to entertain with his fantastic performances and contagious enthusiasm. As stated above, I would recommend this school to any one.
Tereasa Gilmore: Quality education with a Biblical worldview.
Olivia Price: This school has been an amazing place to go, and I'll miss it when I leave!! The teachers are incredible and the community is welcoming and full of love!!!!!!!!!!
Austin & Rachel De Boer: I am a teacher at KCC and I love my job!
Megan Hutcheson: This school is a great pick if you want your student to grow up within close relations with his peers and teachers because the atmosphere is such a friendly and homelike place. Because of the size of the school however, you shouldn't be surprised at the lack of options, not saying that the classes are bad, but the size of the school restricts the school from greatly expanding their extra-curricular activities and classes. Otherwise the school is an excellent private education for your student to experience a conservative, traditional, and non-denominational learning experience with other Christian Teachers and Peers.
Nicholas Beach: This place is awesome yo!
Doug Goertzen: My son is in 1st grade and we love the school. Good teachers, high standards and expectations...but with teachers that love the kids.

Montessori Academy: what do users think?
Spartacus Nguyen: So judgemental call people rude... not worth it for my kids anyway..
Doanh Ho: My daughter loved Montessori. They were very accommodating and figured out a schedule for us when we first entered her. It worked out perfectly. The teachers were attentive and caring. She thrived at this school. Unfortunately, we moved and she no longer attends.
Jennifer A. Roe: My daughter attended from when she was a baby up through preschool. It was a great fit for her each step of the way. I love the staff (as did my daughter). I miss them already!!
Reaching New Heights: My grandson started attending the academy about a month ago right as he was turning three. He is an only child and my husband and I were looking for quality education and socialization for Noah. Lucky for us we found them both in the Montessori Academy. Noah is learning so much and making new friends. His teachers are great and keep me up to date with everything Noah does. I especially like the daily photos and updates I receive via text and email. We plan to keep him at the academy until he ages out.
Jessica K: Love love love this place. My daughter is thriving there! She started at... I think 8 months and is now 2.5 yrs. They are so good with kids and we love how they bring the Montessori ideas into all the ages.
Araec Areac: The Owners, Miss Holly and Miss Hailey, are absolute saints and the staff are absolute angels. This academy has been a Godsend since day 1. I don’t have enough good things to say about the caretakers and their program. My daughter has attended for 6+mo and now speaks 3 languages. She is developing at an exceedingly fast pace. We are very thankful to be here!
Courtney Lewis: We brought out son here when we had a not-so-great experience with a previous daycare facility. At first I was a little concerned because it's smaller than what I was expecting. But it turns out it's just right for the age of the kids. He was just under 2. He's now 3 and a half and he has THRIVED here. The structure, the teachers, the field trips, the activities are just beyond what I was expecting. He started in the 2 year old room and now he's on the "big kid" side of 3 and 4 year olds, and he's learning so much. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.
Erik Gustafson: Our daughter Vega attended for two years. She loved it. The staff is amazing, the activities and field trips are way above the other options out there. Vega still has friends at Crossroads from MA. I've recommended them to multiple friends.
T. Keith Hayes: None of the schools in KC MO are true Montessori because it takes a while to complete all the training! What we have experienced is let's throw Montessori on the building and they will come. That's fraud! Took a tour everyone seemed to be nice and caring but this is just a daycare so call it a daycare.
Katrina Howards: Both of my daughters attended Montessori Academy for five years. They were both cared for very well by the staff member. I would send them there again in a heartbeat.
Cherie mericle: I couldn't of made a better choice for childcare. The staff are experienced, committed, and loving. I'm constanstanly amazed by what my 2 year old has learned while being in the care of these amazing pre-school teachers. Selecting a childcare provider is one of life's most critical decisions... and I'm confident I got it right by choosing Montessori Academy!
Rachel Kelly: My daughter attended Montessori Academy from one month old until the day before she entered kindergarten. I always knew she was safe and well cared for. She was exposed to many things, even as a baby, that I could not have given her had I stayed home with her.

Jaxé: I've been to this school from kindergarten to fifth grade because I sadly had to leave. This school is the best elementary school I've ever been to in Kansas City. Claudia More: Bilingüe buena escuela
Kate Moore: A wonderful, safe and beautiful school with wonderfully equipped staff and faculty to supprot students and their families. The appreciation for cultural diversity is shown through many family events after school during the year!
Paola Reyes: Best school I could put my child in love it because they showed my kids both languages the only concern I have is the LINC staff on person is so mean with the student she will put the kids in the wall if they keep talking and leave the without lunch and Reeses. But other then that great school.

Phoenix Montessori School: what do users think?
Dee Determan: We switched our daughter over to Creekside Montessori shortly after her 3rd birthday and it has been such a wonderful experience. She goes into school happy every morning and is always so excited to share what she's learned every day when I pick her up. The playground area is so fun. Dawn, Bonnie, and Grace are always thinking of ways to make learning fun for the kids. We are so lucky to have found this gem.
Lisa Costello: My 4 year old son has been going here for about two months now. This has been one of his first experiences in a school like daycare as he was previously in a home daycare with the same children for three years straight. I was extremely nervous when he started as he is full of energy and is a bit of a wild child. Dawn was amazing when he first started and made the transition easy. They sent me extra pictures the first week or two but still send me pictures throughout the week now. My son never wants to leave at the end of the day and always seems to have such a fun time! The teachers are friendly and warm and he seems to have adjusted so well.
Erinn Roos: My 4 year old daughter has been attending Creekside for 4 months and we are so happy with her progress here. As a child that turned 1 a week before the lockdowns began, she was a bit wild when she started here. The teachers have helped her adjust, gave her structure, and seem to even enjoy her big personality. Academically I have seen big leaps in her counting, letter recognition, and language development. I would definitely recommend this school.
Megan Snyder: We are so happy to have found Creekside Montessori! Our 3-year-old had previously attended another Montessori preschool but was overwhelmed and unhappy there. Thankfully we found Creekside and our experience has been so positive. It’s a small school with about a dozen kids currently and three fantastic teachers – Dawn (who is also the director), Bonnie, and Grace. They are amazing and kind and I cannot say enough good things about them. Our son is a bit slow to warm up to others and can be easily overwhelmed but is already more comfortable at Creekside after a month than he was at his previous school after a year. Our son’s day is filled with interesting and engaging activities, and he is learning so much. Equally important, we can tell the teachers really value kindness and have encouraged that with the kids there. The playground is fantastic with lots of play equipment and room to run around. They also offer parents’ night out events that our kids have loved attending. The teachers send us pictures throughout the day of our kiddo involved in various activities and a newsletter each week with a recap of the week’s activities and the next week’s menu. Our family’s experience at Creekside has been so very positive and we would absolutely recommend the school to others!
Jamie Smith: We love Creekside! Our daughter looks forward to going to school, which is a change from the previous school she was at. While it is Montessori, I would not call it strict Montessori, which is exactly what we were looking for and works best for our daughter. The school is new, clean, and full of fun activities. Dawn, the director, does a wonderful job at communicating and the app she uses to send pictures and updates is awesome! You can tell she has a genuine love and excitement for teaching and kids. We highly recommend it.
Emma Bergin: We LOVE Creekside Montessori! The teachers (Dawn, Grace, and Bonnie) are wonderful and so caring. We feel so lucky to have found this school. From her first day, our daughter has loved coming here. It's such a friendly, welcoming environment. The curriculum is thoughtful and the kids get to learn about so many fun things in addition to practical skills. I love watching my daughter's confidence grow from her time here. This is just a really special place!
Jessica Robinson: Gear up for a hefty review because I seriously cannot say enough positive things about Creekside. If you’re an overprotective parent and/or a parent to a sensitive kiddo, this review is for you.Prior to enrolling our 3yo, we had tried a few other centers in the area, but nothing felt right and I ended up pulling my son in the first couple weeks. Our son is a big feeling kiddo, often feels shy and struggles with change. At the last preschool we tried, he would cry and scream and cling to us to not leave. I felt the teachers were often dismissive of his feelings, and it just overall left our family feeling unsure of how to best proceed. We wanted to make sure we were setting our son up to have positive experiences with school. But from day 1, he has absolutely thrived with Dawn, Bonnie and Grace. Dawn not only owns Creekside but is also the lead teacher, so staff turnover is nonexistent. She has been teaching and running preschools for like 30 years and is also certified in Montessori, which you surprisingly don’t see very often even in Montessori schools. Her mother, Bonnie, spent her entire career in early childhood development as well. All that biz aside, Dawn, Bonnie and Grace are all three just genuinely kind, compassionate and attentive teachers. My husband and I joke that our son learned more in one day at Creekside than he did during his entire time at the previous center. The level of planning, curating and involvement is next level. Let me break it down for y’all.Academic:Since starting at Creekside, our son has talked to us about states of matter (liquids, solids and gasses), he tells me how many syllables are in words, he is practicing the days of the week, how animals adapt to the winter, etc. Everything they learn is through super fun activities, play and exploration. Play really is the work of children, and Creekside curates super fun intentional play to encourage learning through all senses. I’ve been so impressed.Social:The school is still new so the group is relatively small. I think 6-8 kiddos right now. But I’ve noticed such a change in my son’s self-confidence and ability to navigate social situations with peers and adults. Sometimes he wants me to stay and play for 2 minutes during drop off, but then he’s completely fine with me leaving. Other times he practically shoves me out the door. He says he misses his friends and his school over the weekend. It’s just been this almost drastic boost in his confidence, and I believe it’s due to the environment that Dawn, Bonnie and Grace create at Creekside.Emotional:This is an important area for our family, especially as a parent to a big feeling kiddo. Emotional safety, if even just perceived safety, is vitally important for a child to be able to learn. The “learning part” in the brain will sort of shut down as finding safety (emotionally or physically) becomes what the child needs to survive. Can you imagine someone trying to teach you a new concept while you’re also being chased by a bear? Haha I know it’s extreme but their underdeveloped brains don’t recognize the difference. The fact that our son has learned and retained new concepts shows me that he feels safe with Dawn, Bonnie and Grace. They do not utilize punishment methods like the traditional time out. They offer self-regulating choices and walk through the incident individually with the kiddo in order to validate feelings while not condoning certain outward expressions (ex. it’s okay to feel mad, it is not okay to hit). Our son identifies when he’s frustrated, but he now practices deep breathing without being prompted.I told y’all this was going to be a hefty review haha. I am just continuing to be blown away with Creekside. I didn’t even get into all the extras, like parents night out, Christmas party with Santa, scholastic book orders, show and tell, family take-home art projects, pajama days, etc. I could go on and on, but my husband is laughing at me for writing a book, so I’ll stop. I’m also about to hit the character limit. Check it out!!
Breanna Nebel: My son goes to Creekside and I couldn't dream of a better place to send him. He spends his weekends begging to go to school. I can always tell each lesson is taught intentionally and through hands-on methods, as he comes home every day and teaches it all back to me and his younger sister. His language, imagination, and sense of wonder have blown me away in just the last few months. I could never even consider sending my children anywhere else. The teachers care so much and go above and beyond for their students, and it truly shows.
Jeffrey Wolverton: My granddaughter attends this school and I usually take her to school. She loves the teachers and other students. She also is always excited about school days which makes my job really easy. Thanks for all the work you do and I would recommend this school to all parents looking for a school for their kids.
Alex: My 4-year-old son attends this school and loves it, I could not ask for a better preschool experience. He is constantly learning new things that improve his life and is always excited to show his little sister (who will be joining the school once she turns 3). The teachers are all very caring and well-trained and provide a welcoming environment where all kids learn and have fun. The director provides frequent photos/videos while the kids are in school and a weekly newsletter discussing everything that has been done the prior week and what will be coming in the next week, along with a lunch/snack menu. I would recommend this school over any other preschool and I know my children will be well-prepared for their future schooling and life in general.
Julia Borisova: I am a preschool teacher with 25 + years of international experience. Found this awesome place for my 3 yo grandson. I strongly recommend this school. This is the only place in the area that corresponds to my standards and expectations. Neither MO or KS have anything similar to offer.
VALERIE MCCRACKEN: My daughter is 5 and is the oldest in the class. She loves teaching and helping the other kids, and I love that she gets an individualized education from Dawn! Love this place.
Luke Hilboldt: My wife and I started taking our son to Creekside Montessori on September 1st of this year and could not be more happy with our experience thus far. After taking over the building, the owners undertook extensive renovations and the facility is in top notch condition, clean and safe! The location is perfect for us as well, living in Overland Park but also needing access to 435. Also, the app that Ms. Dawn uses is amazing. Every Sunday evening we get a rundown of how the previous week went, the lesson plan for the coming week and the meal plan for the coming week as well. Getting pictures of our son on the app throughout the day is also great piece of mind!We could not recommend Creekside Montessori more highly!
Lauren Hilboldt: We could not be more happy with the care and education Creekside Montessori provides for our son! Dawn is absolutely wonderful and you can truly see the passion she has for preschool education. Our son has thrived with the Montessori style of learning, but we also appreciate that Creekside Montessori layers in traditional preschool learning. We have no doubt our son will be ready for kindergarten. He comes home everyday and is so excited about the new things he has learned and can't wait to go to school the next morning. We wholeheartedly recommend Creekside Montessori!
Jessica Kramer: Dawn and the Creekside staff have been so wonderful for my son. He loves going to school and is always bringing home the skills he works on during the day. The school’s physical space is beautiful and student-centered, and I can tell the staff really care about the kids. We’ve had a wonderful experience!

The Daniel Academy: what do users think?
Chad Johnson: Specific to the Daniel Daycare:This is a Christ-centered daycare for kids, which is awesome! The music is great, the teachers are great, and having the ability to go part-time has been such a blessing for our family so we can work yet still have time with our little. :-)
Michael Gerard: I would like to edit the post I made here many years ago shown below. We saw a very different side of the school as time went on and our kids grew older. I’m changing my review because I want to give an accurate rating of our overall experience over our 13 years there. We have worked with the school since 2007, and currently have our 6 children enrolled. Our kids have the privilege of being educated in an environment that encourages marvelous camaraderie, bible memorization, and prayer alongside Math, Reading, Spelling, etc. We have seen our kids blossom in their education as well as in their spiritual walk. We are truly blessed to be involved with a school like this, and would highly recommend The Daniel Academy to anyone who is looking to be involved in their child's spiritual and education growth!
Christina Quero: My family and I moved to KC from Southern California and found TDA on the web. We also heard great things about it from others in the community.Transitioning our kids to a new state let alone a new school was very difficult. We have kids ages 13 all the way to newborn. The Daycare side has truly been a blessing to our family. Amy, the director is the one of the sweetest kindest leaders I have ever met. She has a heart for each family and each child. It’s refreshing. She’s very flexible with our schedule which I appreciate and understanding. I left my baby in their care when I needed support and he did phenomenal. The building is pretty dated which brings up obvious challenges from time to time but The staff is so kind and loving and genuine. I felt peace leaving my baby there knowing he was in such loving hands. Also the school side (K-12) is such a great environment for children to really thrive not just emotionally & socially but academically & spiritually as well. Never have I seen such love and comraderie amongst school peers. The move was really hard on my older girls but attending TDA has made their adjustment so much smoother. I am thankful we found this GEM of a school for our family!
Kimberly Cervantes: I wish I could give it 0 stars. 100% do NOT recommend. Can't speak to the school, but the daycare is downright horrible. The entire building is filthy, infested with bugs and mice. Basic things like electricity and heating are regularly an issue. Incredibly unprofessional and inconvenient as the daycare may be closed on a whim. While some of the staff are incredible, others are lazy and negligent. The manager and the school administration couldn’t care less about parent and other staff complaints about neglect and abuse. Management uses gaslighting to silence concerns/questions. Do yourself a favor and take your kids somewhere else.
Christian: Not a good school. Been there since I was in kindergarten. They will control you. They have a very overbearing Policy of Opposite gender, say goodbye to any and all relationships of the opposite gender, at this school. You will feel judged. Also most of these reviews if not all of them, are done by one senior class, makes you think if it was an assignment 🤔.
Jim Heck: TDA is the people not the place.😉
Samuel Young: Great School. Love the teachers and students! Over my 9 years at TDA, I’ve had so many amazing brothers and sisters to run after God with.
Cariane 'Clayton' Knudsen: This is our first year at The Daniel Academy. I feel tremendously blessed to have found this school for my children. We came from a very difficult school last year, and the transition to this school has helped heal the effects of last year. The teachers truly care and go above and beyond to reach each child where they are academically and emotionally. I cannot say enough good things...we are blessed to have found TDA.
Christen Hines: TDA is a wonderful school to attend. I love the atmosphere and the setting. The teachers are really encouraging and the students are friendly. I love the morning assemblies and how we worship together each morning. It’s a really great school!
Chloe Kimball-Dillard: This school really is like a family!
Faith Formby: I absolutely love this school!I came in this year (junior year) because I heard of how close knit the students were as well as the biblical classes they have. I’m someone who’s moved around through many different states, so I’ve been homeschooled, gone to public and private schools. I’ve even gone to another christian academy, but I never felt a spark. When I came to this school though, I was amazed by the strong spiritual aspect of the school, in both its students and teachers. I’ve enjoyed the curriculum, but how sincere, kind and inviting the classes are is what I’ve really come to love!I highly recommend sending your kids here. This school truly stands out from all the rest.
Kay Lee: I’ve been attending this school for the past 11 years and can’t even begin to express how much this school means to me. God is given first place here. He takes precedence over academics, schedules, and sports, and it’s so cool to watch Him bless us in those areas because we choose to put Him first. The people here have rocked my life. The teachers are so inspiring and they are always ready to pray and fight for any and all of their students. They also take time to personalize the learning experience for each student and really work with each student’s specific needs.
Trinity Smithson: I have attended The Daniel Academy since I was five years old, and I am currently seventeen. There is no place like this school, as it has been a second home to me over the many years. The Daniel Academy is centered around the Lord and what He is saying and teaching. Their ultimate goal as a faculty is to raise up young men and woman who will be sent out into a dark world and live like Daniel lived. The teachers are incredible and will stop at nothing to see us be the best we can be. They fight for our relationship with God and with each other.I will be forever grateful for the memories and life long friendships I have made at The Daniel Academy.
Jeremiah Arthur: This school is genuinely one of a kind. The environment allows everybody to unashamedly run after God in their own way. You are constantly surrounded by people pushing you to go deeper into your own identity. The way the teachers lead is honestly so cool. The teachers lead as friends as well as authority figures. This environment allows for a really special way of learning, it makes you actually WANT to learn, instead of it feeling like a chore. Every student and every leader make every aspect of The Daniel Academy super genuine.
Duncan Walla: TDA has changed my life. I have been going since 8th grade and I honestly can't recognize myself from that time. A school that cares more about the students than the education, more about God than about looking Christian, and more about life than about getting a grade. The teachers, the morning worship, the vision, has inspired me to be better person. I can't thank God enough for The Daniel Academy.
Kari Smithson: This School was founded on Daniel 9:23
Jack Lepak: The Daniel Academy is an outstanding school, whose primary focus is seeking God and honoring him in everything we do. It is beautiful to see every day the hearts that the teachers and faculty members have towards the students, and in everything they do they do it well. Guaranteed, you won't be disappointed if you send your kid here.
Julian Smithson: The Daniel Academy is Amazing!
Monica McGraw: I went to this school when it was called merillac school from 1977- 1980. Then I moved to Smithville, mo. I was 7-10 yrs of age. They were very memorable times.
jack tucker: This school is such a blessing to got to. I have been blessed in so many ways.
A W: Basically you're paying money for a thorough indoctrination and some schoolwork on the side

Imperial Golf of Parkville: what do users think?
Helen and Richard Bridges: Very knowledgeable and patient.
Sophia Koury: I really loved this spot! I’m so excited to have this addition to Parkville and Kansas City! Decor, food and drink are spot on. Come here with girl friends and for your husbands to have a fun time hitting balls and working on their swing. We will definitely be back!
J Christ: They really know what they're talking about, somehow they took me and made it look like I know what I'm doing. I saw real improvement after one lesson. Wouldn't trust anyone else.
Daniel Ash: Great guys. BYOB and simulator golf. What more could you ask for.
Cade: Great facility, and the level of service you receive is second to none. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to take their game to a higher level.
Ken Tucker: I’ve been playing golf for years, have dabbled in lessons here and there but never found success or a process that truly helped me improve. Jon and JT were recommended to me and I’m glad I gave them a chance. Jon has a great approach that is both educational and fun. I’ve seen tremendous results in a short period of time, and they have renewed my passion for the game. I look forward to my lesson each week, and continually improving in their system and with their help. Good guys too! Thank you
Lance Burnside: They create a process of providing processes for their students to progress in their game.
Blake Anderson: I've been playing golf for over 30 years. I was on my school team from 7th grade up through high school, but I've never had formal, professional instruction. I never thought it would be worth the money. After all, I've been playing since I could walk. What could they tell me that I haven't already heard through instructional magazines, YouTube, or other online golf programs.I can't express how drastically wrong I have been. Jon Snyder at Imperial has been an amazing coach. I've only been with him for about 4-5 weeks, and I've already seen great improvements in my game. Every week he identifies a new piece of the puzzle for me to work on, and every week my game is getting more and more consistent.Another benefit is that they offer custom fitting sessions. It really does make a huge difference when your coach is also your fitter. He knows your tendencies, he knows what to expect out of your swing, and all that information helps him hone in on exactly what equipment best suits your game.I can't speak highly enough of John and Imperial. I would highly recommend them to anyone that's serious about improving their golf game!
Micah Rader: Professional golf instructors with a process that works! Jon and JT know what they are doing, and frankly... I do NOT! Nor do my friends! Do yourself a favor. Go see Imperial Golf and stop listening to your friends advice.
Chris Loving: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI highly recommend Jon and JT. They are friendly, professional, and great at what they do. Whatever level you are, they will help you improve your game and get more enjoyment out of golfing.
Kent Peterson: These guys are genius. Never knew this stuff. Golf is fun again.
Katie Ervin: Imperial golf has been fantastic to work with the last 2.5 years. When our daughter decided to start golf in 7th grade we did lots of research on golf instructors. We love the video aspect of seeing what she is learning and that that she can work indoors and out with the coaches for year round training. JT and Jon have been so supportive through her growth. They are a main reason she made varsity as a freshman playing competitively less than 2 years at the time. She continues to grow, improve and tweak her game with their guidance.
Joe Black: Started as a day 1 novice golfer with JT and have been getting lessons from him for about a month. I find JT to be a highly skilled player and coach, able to break down the fundamentals of golf to whatever level the student requires. Great facility and pricing...worth checking out!
Brett Jackson: Great place. Jon's a terrific instructor. Can't wait to get back and work on my swing.
Brian Martorana: I worked with JT on both a swing analysis and club fitting and would recommend them for sure...I like their approach to discussing goals around your golf game + their customer service. My experience in the past with golf instructors have usually involved a level of flakiness that doesn't lend to referrals and consistency, these guys flip the script on that notion.
Joshua Gammon: Jon and Ryan have been doing a fantastic job with my daughter. Jon and Grace work well together and her game has improved immensely. GAOTN is very flexible with schedules and it has been a great experience watching the growth and (don't tell Jon) learning by listening. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to improve their golf game. I also love the new branding and partnerships they are developing.
Darren Morris: I have had the opportunity to work with both Jon and JT. The time I spent there really helped re-engage my swing and taught me strategies to employ when I am on the golf course. I am a very big fan of Imperial golf.Last week, I brought my 12 year-old daughter in who doesn't think of herself as very athletic. After her session with JT, she walked out on cloud nine. Not only did she discover that she has a naturally on plane swing, but her dance history helped provide her with the balance and posture. JT helped bring that out and left her excited to come back. That in turn left me excited that I have a new golf partner! If you are looking to improve your game, or like me, want to introduce a young one to the sport, this is a wonderful place for both. I wholly endorse Imperial Golf.
Matthew Porter: By far the best golf instructors around! I've taken lessons in Overland Park and at my local course and neither come close to the guys at Imperial Golf. I worked with John Snyder and am absolutely amazed by his results. John is a true professional who's love for the game translates to his teaching style. He breaks down swing problems, and focuses on the root cause of swing issues, not providing a temporary fix to problems. I only had a few sessions due to a move but wish I could take his golf shop with me. Try them out, you won't regret it.
Larry McCord: I purchased a Groupon for a golf swing analysis with Jon and I was GREATLY impressed with his knowledge and with the technical equipment and capabilities. I was so impressed that with his observations and advice that I plan to follow-up with a lesson package. Both Jon and JT appear to be great guys with a definite interest in helping individuals to improve their golfing skills.
Sam Brannen: Have actually learned more in evaluation and 2 lessons from Jon than in all other lessons I’ve ever taken before put together. Highly recommend!!!!!
Daniel Tokar: Ryan Patterson is the best golf instructor that I have ever had! Have had several lessons from all sorts of different instructors and have never had the kind of results that I had with Ryans' teaching. What I really appreciated about Ryan is he first give you some basic swing instructions to let you work on and then once you have got those dialed in, he will help you fine tune other things to keep lowering your scores. Having the combo of multiple angles of video analysis and really great focused instruction has really improved my golf game. He is always more then willing to work on whatever area of your golf game is giving you problems from driver to short game and get you fixed up! Thanks Imperial Golf!

Kansas City Academy: what do users think?
Sydney Bernstein: I attended Kansas City academy from 2012-2014 and was a staff member during the 2021-2022 school year. My time as a student at KCA was transformative. After a tragic death of my parent in 2010 I was struggling academically and socially in public school. I would frequently skip school due to anxiety and depression. As a sophmore I knew I would not be able to graduate at the current high school I was attending and began to look for alternative options. A family friend who was a staff member at KCA recommended I come visit the school. From the moment I stepped foot in the door I knew I wanted to join KCA’s community. As a student I was given the opportunity and freedom to explore myself in a safe space where it was okay to be yourself and make mistakes. I was offered a lot of leadership opportunities. I wanted to come to school everyday. The faculty and staff were so welcoming and encouraging. For the first time in my life I felt seen, heard, and accepted by KCA’s community. I was so sad to graduate in 2014 but I have remained a part of the community one way or another 9 years later. I recommend this school for any student or parent looking for a academic environment that is creative and accommodating.
Sage WolfeZogg: I graduated from KCA in 2015. They teach kids to be involved in their education, to explore their own interests, to endlessly ask why. We learned to think of people besides ourselves, to break problems down into manageable amounts. I was one of the students (selected by the students) who decided on community services requirements. There were students, facility, and community members involved. Even as a 15 year old I felt heard, supported, and respected.
Lauren D: Great school. Small classes. Teachers were involved with students. Had their own garden and cooking classes. Lot of fun engaging projects especially art.
mike cowger: Kansas City Academy, and the staff that makes it what it is, has been a tremendous source of support, kindness, and growth for our son, who has just completed his first school year there. In what could very well have been an incredibly difficult time the staff at KC Academy has created a wonderfully welcoming and inclusive environment where our son has (and is still!) learning how to thrive and take his own narrative with both hands and make it his own. I absolutely recommend KCA for any kiddo and family who are looking for a place to really belong.
Margaret Chaffee: Ay KCA my child feels valued and seen for all her gifts and talents. So thankful for the compassion and creativity of the staff and students.
Suzanne Raney: We love this school and its creative, kind and compassionate teachers and staff.
Amy Parker: This has been a life-altering, amazing school for my daughter. For a kid who didn't fit in with the more traditional public school setting, KCA was just the place where she could be herself. The teachers and staff are informal, approachable, VERY supportive, and maintain a quality, meaningful education. I would never have thought a school like this existed and will be forever grateful that it does. This school goes above and beyond to not only support each unique kid but help them become the best versions of themselves they can be. I truly hope KCA will always be there for students like my daughter. I am so, so glad we took a chance on KCA.-The parent of a 2022 grad
DeAnna Skedel: If there ever was a community that puts the social and emotional development of their students first, this is it.
sloane swift: This school is bad, the kids here are bad. The teachers teach horribly i didn't learn anything. The students pushed me to attempting suicide, several times. The teachers did not investigate and it was horrible.
Samsung Chromebook #17: Worst school i've ever gone too, the staff allowed other students to bully me due to my family not being able to afford the tuition. They refused us for financial aid, and allowed rumors and lies about me spread throughout the school. I got sent death threats, and became very depressed during this time. It was horrid. Please don't send your child to this school.
Avont'e foster: The Best Experience!!
Cathy Metcalf: KCA has been extremely proactive in providing our children with a top-notch experience under the current COVID-19 conditions. The teachers spent the summer learning new digital platforms to assist with their online lessons. The school created a balanced schedule for the students to be digitally engaged with their classmates and teachers daily. KCA is consistently evaluating conditions to determine when students can return to in-person classes. The online schedule was designed to seamlessly flow with the in-person schedule once students can return to campus. We have the utmost confidence in the leadership and faculty at KCA and we know that our children are receiving the best education possible to prepare them for their futures!
Annette Wallace: Love this school! My child struggled last year as a Freshman. This year they transferred to KCA! So far the improvement has been phenomenal! So grateful for the wonderful, involved staff!
Amber DeAngelo: The best, creative, accepting, supportive school in town!
AUTO MART USA: GOOD ACADMY
Cooper Enochs: Gotta say gotta say it is relatively EPIC???? YES EPIC!!!!! Ooguns boogus
Kristine Ennis: KCA is such a Fabulous learning environment . Their curriculum and staff engage the students and the safe and welcoming environment allows for a superior education to develop. I highly recommend this wonderful, community based, small school. We had multiple years at Catholic schools and by far KCA is the best!!! We only wish we had discovered it sooner.
Aisling Crowe: KC Academy has helped my daughter be more confident. She is encouraged to think for herself here. The teachers at KC Academy are supportive and inspiring. So happy we found this unique school.
Jeff Weis: KCA has been a wonderful fit for my son since sixth grade.
Brennan G: I am a KCA graduate of 2001. This school was a great influence on how to manage my life responsibly. The teachers were the best. I loved my experience here. After graduating I moved to Los Angeles, finished college and I'm now an television editor for NBC Universal. Thanks KCA.
