Lynn Fistolu: My daughter, sister and I decided to try this place on Thursday, 05/27/2023. We had a full set and 3 pedicures. The technicians were friendly, knowledgeable and kind. We throughly enjoyed our experience and we will go back!!

Nicole Shoemaker: Nancy is the best nail tech in the metro. I have been to many, many nail salons and while I've had some pretty okay gel manicures, nothing I mean nothing, has lasted as long as the gel manicure from Lux. There's no loud music, which I love, it's relaxing. I have had my eyebrows waxed as well and also recommend.
Mauri Trent: I’m not sure how or why they have so many stars because I’ve been all over KC getting pedicures and this place is by far the worst. The gel started peeling while I was still in the chair and she got upset that I pointed it out. She then proceeded to put another coat of gel on top and pretended not to know what I was saying. Kenya: I was a first time customer I arrived 7pm on dot I rushed through traffic to get service done at this business once I arrived the man who answered the phone seen I was black and was intimidated told me to wash my hands as I was there for feet! while he finishes his other customer hands I waited once customer left he approached me with ignorance as of I was deaf dumb or retardation, I don't disrespect anyone for people who chooses to consistently send out bad service through business I will start to complain and this a racist matter!! 30 mins to wait after arriving at 7pm so that tells you what exactly? He did not want to do service with me. Money well SAVED 👍🏾

Lonique Cowan: I was not satisfied with my nails. When I spoke up to tell the nail tech that my nails weren’t turning out the way I wanted, she got reassured me it was the right design. As the process continued, I’m the design didn’t look right. So, I again, showed her the picture that I was going for, and she eventually yelled at me, and got very rude. Customer service was awful. When my nails were finished, I was not satisfied. Tools were thrown at me at some point. I was completely dissatisfied.
Kasey Hockman: The last two times I’ve gone I left without getting anything done because they can figure out how to manage their appointments and staff. The first time they had over booked and after I waited for 30 minutes, they told me it would be another hour before they could get to me. This time, one poor gentleman was working solo because none of the other techs showed up for their shifts. After 30 minutes of waiting, he finally told us that he had no idea if/when the other techs were showing up, but if we could continue to wait, he would get to us when he could but it would be at least an hour. Hopefully by posting and bringing attention to the unprofessional state of disorganization this salon is in, the owner will actually do something about it to better support the techs that actually do show up and work their rears off for their clients.

Daisa Smith: Normally I’m not one to leave bad reviews but this was my first experience here. Not only during my pedicure did he cut my cuticles way to hard and the kept cutting to the point I started bleeding which I’ve never had happen before. He man handled my feet the whole time then proceeded to place acetone and some other liquid on a cotton ball to try to stop the bleeding. It did temporarily until he decided to squeeze the area as hard as he could. Kept placing the uv light on the top of my toes ruining the paint. Mind you didn’t speak to me this whole time and did this without gloves. Then another artist took over. And did my manicure then they rang me up at 95 dollars when I asked if it was possible to get some money off as my mail is ruined and had blood all on it and I’m still bleeding she said oh no this happens all the time. Now here I am two days later with the nail polish peeling off. I got them done for my vacation and spent 95 dollars for something to not even last two days. And to top it off they opened late I say there for 20 min waiting for them to open and didn’t even get the original artist I had booked.Services:Pedicure,Gel manicures

Lots of parking nearby and the area is nice.Cons: can be pricy. inconsistent customer service depending on the nail tech you’re assigned - some customers are offered drinks & some are not.My first visit I was asked why everyone “like me” wore my hair like Whoopi Goldberg 😬 I was later informed that tech is no longer employed there.

Andrew McNally: My wife got a small infection on her big toe from a gel pedicure and her gel manicure was flaking in 4 days. It's a beautiful facility and the workers are very attentive, but these services are too expensive to have something like this happen.

Emma Boxx: My nails turned out cute, but I was pressured into spending way more than I anticipated. I walked in at 10 am and let the receptionist know that I wanted a basic gel manicure. No problem. When I sat down, my nail tech asked if we were doing a full set. I said no, I would like to do a basic gel manicure. They kept asking me about a full set and I said no, a gel manicure please. They explained that they would do a short natural set and dipped nails to help grow my nails out for next time. My nails are short from my bad habit of picking at them so going to a nail salon already brings me anxiety. I did not go in wanting super glamorous nails, just cleaned up cuticles and some lasting polish. I finally gave in (because there seemed to be no other option and I was dropped off) and left spending $72 with tip. Again, the overall quality of my nails was good, but I did not appreciate my requests being ignored.
Shannon Wilhelms: They were great with working me in for a mani/pedi. I thought the lady did a great job until a day later. My nails became very flimsy to where I broke 2 so I had to cut them all off.
Ronasya Ewing: They will tell you over the phone they take walk ins and when you arrive tell you there is no availability for the rest of the day. A complete inconvenience and waste of time.

The nail tech was bending my fingers 180 degrees to do the French tip design and hurt my fingers. Wasn’t worth the drive or the money, I regret going. Definitely over priced and bouje.

And said she wouldn’t have an appointment for a whole week, and disregarded me.Now the second time I went, I was able to walk in and get a refill with Pat. The service was fast and very detailed and he did a wonderful job. The material high quality and I was very pleased with my experience. I was very pleased with my nails.

Sareesa Kohman: Called this morning and was able to get a same day pedicure for me and my best friend visiting from out of state. Walking in we were greeted right away. The place is very chill on the inside and super pretty. We were asked to wash our hands before picking our colors, appreciated this (only thing I’d say is the sink faucets were a lil gross but the actual sink was very clean). Our nail techs were great and very friendly! I feel rude that I didn’t ask their names but they were wonderful and my guy even helped me get my baby out when she started crying so I could feed her. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back in the near future! A little pricey but you get all the pampering so it was worth it to me!
