Daniella Rivera: Love the work especially Laura but the last 5 times I have came I’ve been asked to come back tomorrow. First with a standing appointment but I was understanding because the person I wanted to do my nails was out for surgery. Yet I am still being turned away ! Hours before they close even after taking the time to call ahead and confirm availability. I am not sure what the issue is but I will not be returning I drive 20+ minutes to this place to be treated like less than. Very sad.Service:Nail extensions
Kathryn Vanwijk: Went in for an appointment at 3:30. Under staffed! We were asked to take a seat in the pedicure chairs (no water was even on or in the tub). At 3:50 I asked how much realistically longer we would wait and I was told another 15 or 20 minutes before they would start. There were 6 people before us, it would have been much longer. Called another salon and was able to get in with them right away. We left and will NEVER go here again after their lack of service.

Chris Goode: Do not support this business.If I could rate them a zero I would. My wife and I set an appointment for late afternoon yesterday to end the weekend relaxing. We were treated very very poorly as of we were not welcome and a bother to the staff. I watched other black people be treated poorly as well and even leave while we were there. The lady was extremely pushy trying to get me to upgrade my service and seemed to Pictish me for asking for warmer water by making it go too hot. She proceeded to grab my toe so tight to the point it hurt. At at point during the service I asked my wife if she wanted me to just pay and we leave. When I realized she rushed my manicure I asked could she clean up my obviously rushed cuticles because I have an important photo shoot today and she got an attitude. The lady doing my wife then tried to take the tool she was using on my wife's toes and use it on me. At this point I said don't worry about it and paid and let them finish my wife. The manager tried to give a discount but I paid in full and still tipped. Being black often comes with mistreatment but this experience was one of the worst I've encountered. If you are black steer clear as it appears our money is no good here. The picture is from this morning 12 hours since getting a manicure. Shameful business.Services:Pedicure,Manicure

Aixa Grajales: Ever since I started coming here, Ive never been to another place. They treat you like a Queen/King!! They also offer free drinks when you come in (including alcohol🍷) which is super nice if them. Their prices vary. Not as expensive as other places which I really enjoy, and they do a very professional work on you, whether its nails or pedicures. I love this place and Im not changing places 😆💞#LoyalCostumer 💯🤩

Through Becs Specs: I’ve lived in the Waldo area for about 3 years and I have gone to Waldo Nails this ENTIRE time. Even if I moved out of Waldo, I’d still make the drive. The prices are affordable and the staff is extremely polite & friendly. My dip nails stay in perfect condition for WEEKS which is rare. The massage chairs during a pedicure are super relaxing! I wouldn’t want to get a pedicure/manicure anywhere else in KC. There are plenty of spots to grab a drink or food after your visit!

My pedicure looks great. My only annoyance with this place is if you use a card they charge you an extra 10% AND if you want your toes and fingers to match it’s an extra $3!! I’ve never heard of that and thought it was crazy!
Tane Terrell: Do Not COME HERE! I got the Express Pedicure from a nice gentleman who did not do a very good job, the manager made some rude comments which I heard. I would recommend anyone come to this nail shop to get any service. My nails were done ok and my pedicure was below average. Being a person of color I do not feel I was treated like the others that were there getting serviced. I felt rushed and it wasn’t my fault the guy took a long time doing my nails, it took him 5 minutes to put on his rubber gloves for heaven sake…SMH And they add “tax” or what I would say a automatic tip to the service amount! Lisa was kind and helped to calm the situation but The manager Vee was very unprofessional needs some customers service training!

Emma Boxx: My nails turned out cute, but I was pressured into spending way more than I anticipated. I walked in at 10 am and let the receptionist know that I wanted a basic gel manicure. No problem. When I sat down, my nail tech asked if we were doing a full set. I said no, I would like to do a basic gel manicure. They kept asking me about a full set and I said no, a gel manicure please. They explained that they would do a short natural set and dipped nails to help grow my nails out for next time. My nails are short from my bad habit of picking at them so going to a nail salon already brings me anxiety. I did not go in wanting super glamorous nails, just cleaned up cuticles and some lasting polish. I finally gave in (because there seemed to be no other option and I was dropped off) and left spending $72 with tip. Again, the overall quality of my nails was good, but I did not appreciate my requests being ignored.
Shannon Wilhelms: They were great with working me in for a mani/pedi. I thought the lady did a great job until a day later. My nails became very flimsy to where I broke 2 so I had to cut them all off.

The nail tech was bending my fingers 180 degrees to do the French tip design and hurt my fingers. Wasn’t worth the drive or the money, I regret going. Definitely over priced and bouje.

And said she wouldn’t have an appointment for a whole week, and disregarded me.Now the second time I went, I was able to walk in and get a refill with Pat. Sareesa Kohman: Called this morning and was able to get a same day pedicure for me and my best friend visiting from out of state. Walking in we were greeted right away. The place is very chill on the inside and super pretty. We were asked to wash our hands before picking our colors, appreciated this (only thing I’d say is the sink faucets were a lil gross but the actual sink was very clean). Our nail techs were great and very friendly! I feel rude that I didn’t ask their names but they were wonderful and my guy even helped me get my baby out when she started crying so I could feed her. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back in the near future! A little pricey but you get all the pampering so it was worth it to me!

My regular nail tech (at another place) was going out of town so I went to this place before my vacation. I never have nails fall off so I was very annoyed that only five days in two of them started lifting. We are 10 days in now and they’re all off.

Not only were the workers openly talking negatively about us and mocking us, but they were directly rude to us the entire time. The first experience we had was AWFUL but we came here again BY MISTAKE today, and the service was even worse. Teagan Gibler: I’ve been coming to Luxury’s for years. Today was probably my last. Getting your nails done is supposed to be relaxing but this visit was far from it. I sat down and Anna, my nail tech, immediately starts complaining about how long it took her to do her previous customers nails. I don’t think that’s appropriate. I can already tell she’s in a hurry to get my nails finished as she can’t even take the time to completely file off the previous gel polish I have from my previous manicure. I’ve been working hard to grow out my nails and I asked them to be filed shorter but she went ahead and cut them as short as they would go. She couldn’t even take the time to let my gel polish set under the UV for the appropriate amount of time. My “manicure” was done in 15 minutes which I don’t think is enough time for a good manicure. My nails are different lengths, my gel polish has wrinkles in it because it wasn’t allowed time to set long enough, and safe to say I am extremely disappointed. I understand your previous customer took up a lot of time, but you shouldn’t take it out on your next paying customer.Service:Gel manicures
