It was the closest to my home, then I moved 25 minutes away, where there are many nail salons, but I keep going back to Anh, she’s absolutely the best!I don’t usually write reviews, but after my last visit, I witnessed unfair treatment from walk-ins, who I’m sure leave some of the negative reviews. They have a sign that states they can’t accommodate walk ins posted in the front door. Three people (different instances, not a group) walked in while I was there and when they were informed there was no availability unless they scheduled in advance, all three were rude the owner because they didn’t get their way.All the technicians there are always professional, kind and do their best. I also really like that it doesn’t smell of acrylic at all. I can’t stand most nail salons because the odor is so concentrated. Maggie Knesel: I’ve been to this salon a couple times now, and I have never been disappointed in their service until today. I called this afternoon to see if they had any openings and she told me they could squeeze me in at 5:45. Wonderful. I walked in at 5:45 and I sat in the pedicure chair until 6:15. For 30 minutes, I did not have a single person talk to me besides the initial instructions to pick out my colors. They did not even fill my water bowl to soak my toes. After 30 minutes, I picked my stuff up and left. I appreciate them attempting to squeeze me in but it was a complete waste of my time. Just tell me if you’re too busy and I would have come in a different day.

First with a standing appointment but I was understanding because the person I wanted to do my nails was out for surgery. Yet I am still being turned away ! Hours before they close even after taking the time to call ahead and confirm availability. Kathryn Vanwijk: Went in for an appointment at 3:30. Under staffed! We were asked to take a seat in the pedicure chairs (no water was even on or in the tub). At 3:50 I asked how much realistically longer we would wait and I was told another 15 or 20 minutes before they would start. There were 6 people before us, it would have been much longer. Called another salon and was able to get in with them right away. We left and will NEVER go here again after their lack of service.

Chris Goode: Do not support this business.If I could rate them a zero I would. My wife and I set an appointment for late afternoon yesterday to end the weekend relaxing. We were treated very very poorly as of we were not welcome and a bother to the staff. I watched other black people be treated poorly as well and even leave while we were there. The lady was extremely pushy trying to get me to upgrade my service and seemed to Pictish me for asking for warmer water by making it go too hot. She proceeded to grab my toe so tight to the point it hurt. At at point during the service I asked my wife if she wanted me to just pay and we leave. When I realized she rushed my manicure I asked could she clean up my obviously rushed cuticles because I have an important photo shoot today and she got an attitude. The lady doing my wife then tried to take the tool she was using on my wife's toes and use it on me. At this point I said don't worry about it and paid and let them finish my wife. The manager tried to give a discount but I paid in full and still tipped. Being black often comes with mistreatment but this experience was one of the worst I've encountered. Aixa Grajales: Ever since I started coming here, Ive never been to another place. They treat you like a Queen/King!! They also offer free drinks when you come in (including alcohol🍷) which is super nice if them. Their prices vary. My nails do not break, they are consistent, on time, no long waits and small intimate space with no more than one additional client present. They are such a friendly couple with good energy. Deb: What the woman in the first booth right side did to my nails is awful! Charged me $43 and I got out to the car and my right thumb paint had already melted away. I should dispute the charge with Amex because this is wayyyyy below subpar. It was awful. I guess she wanted to go home because she kept rushing not allowing them to dry. Then the next day the paint came off of part of another one. I needed them done is the only reason I went. The lady in the last booth to the left was really rude. I wont go here again ever. Awful! Awful! They owe me an apology for this mess.

D Jackson: Got a manicure yesterday at Nail Spa 39. The women were very nice and that's the reason for the 2 stars. The nail tech took her time and gave me a great hand massage at the end of the service. But the craftsmanship was subpar. My nails are lopsided and uneven. If the edges and corners of my nails weren't missed completely during the painting process then they are already chipping away. I visited at 6:30PM and they closed at 8pm. This may be the reason my nails turned out this way. I didn't complain to the nail tech and still left a good tip because she was kind and tried to be accommodating. However, I'd only visit again if it's the last resort. If you're a perfectionist then PROCEED WITH CAUTION or not at all.

Carrin Parker: To start, they seemed annoyed that I didn't want to uncharge my service with Gel polish or the sugar scrub. Next, they used a pumice stone that had been used before and then threw it back onto the cart for their next foot fungus victim. Then came the gross pink lotion that they rubbed into my left leg for so long it became weird. They were lost in conversation with another co-worker and complete forgot about the other leg (thank God)! Barely pushed back my cuticles, cut my nails square and didn't round the edges, slopped on some polish and done. Worst pedi of my life (not that I've had a ton) but this was far from relaxing and definitely not worth $28 plus tip. I'll paint my own nails next time.Service:Pedicure

iffy vicky: So I went these to get a simple acrylic design with color around the rim of the nail and my nail lady said she would “try” so I ended going thru 2 more ideas and didn’t even end up getting the last one. I had to point out that my nail and jewels were crooked. I was wait for these for a hour and a half and ended up leaving with nails that weren’t fully polished and a couple lumpy nails. Most definitely was not worth the wait nor price. Would highly not recommend.

Teagan Gibler: I’ve been coming to Luxury’s for years. Today was probably my last. Getting your nails done is supposed to be relaxing but this visit was far from it. I sat down and Anna, my nail tech, immediately starts complaining about how long it took her to do her previous customers nails. I don’t think that’s appropriate. I can already tell she’s in a hurry to get my nails finished as she can’t even take the time to completely file off the previous gel polish I have from my previous manicure. I’ve been working hard to grow out my nails and I asked them to be filed shorter but she went ahead and cut them as short as they would go. She couldn’t even take the time to let my gel polish set under the UV for the appropriate amount of time. My “manicure” was done in 15 minutes which I don’t think is enough time for a good manicure. My nails are different lengths, my gel polish has wrinkles in it because it wasn’t allowed time to set long enough, and safe to say I am extremely disappointed. I understand your previous customer took up a lot of time, but you shouldn’t take it out on your next paying customer.Service:Gel manicures
