Caroline McBride: Went to a trade show there and did not stay in the rooms. It is not a luxury hotel, but it was clean. I would say decent quality for a convention, but it was not impressive.Nearby activities: Next door to a Bass Pro. Near to a major shopping center as well as a kid's adventure place.

They overbooked and bumped us up to a larger room with a seating area, bunk beds and king bed.Sound-proofing was excellent, hardly heard anything else from anyone.Water pressure was good and the provided shampoo, conditioner etc were bath & body works.Breakfast stays open until 10am.Will definitely stay here again.

This property INSTANTLY welcomes you when you walk in, the staff are sooo hospitable and sweet and the leadership exude those same attributes. As a travel nurse, this was a home away from home and a scenic getaway all in one! Definitely has become my preferred hotel for booking! Sarah Kessler: Dirty and small rooms. If we ever came back, we’d have to get a room with a balcony to be able to walk around a bit. Row machine was broken… I don’t know why it was kept in the gym? Other than that, the kids loved the pool and staff was nice :) Also a nice lake to walk around to the playground.

Cross Family Fun: We only stayed overnight while we were passing through but it was a very nice and clean room. The grounds are beautiful and they serve a nice breakfast. If we’re ever in town for a longer visit we will definitely stay here.

Tyler Baughn: Rooms were nice, breakfast was OK, and the location was great. But the hot tub and pool were closed, so that was disappointing. The main thing that bothered me was that there were ants. Bought fudge from a candy store and put it on the desk to eat, but after a few hours, it was covered in ants, and so was my drink. Will not come back again till it's taken care of.

Krystyn Quinones: Absolutely amazing hotel. The rooms were clean and the breakfast not bad. The best part was walking our dogs around the lake. It is a protected lake so there were so many animals to see and the waterfalls were super cool. My 4 year old is obsessed with hotels and said this one was the coolest he's been too and that he is claiming it as his hotel. I wish they would expand just a little to reach the western U.S. as we would only stay here if they did.

Nikki Mickelson: Just received a call ( two days before our reservation) saying that they had to cancel our reservation because it is an extended stay hotel and there were extended stay guests that decided to stay longer. No comp offered. Now we have to pay high prices for last minute reservations elsewhere because it is also a concert night.Disappointed.

jackson remacle: Maybe the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, we payed for 2 rooms, one for two days and one for one day cause my uncle got here a day before us. The day we got there the check in personal was extremely rude and snippy when we asked when are second room would be ready, That I was sitting in there game room which was unlocked they promptly kicked me out with no reason and were quite rude about it. Not sure why had no time rules posed on it like the pool did so awful dissapointed

Jim C: We have stayed at Candlewood at least 9 weekends in the last year. The location is great and rooms are clean. And staff is friendlyHowever,things are changing. I have noticed a turnover in staff and well as management.With our last stay I was charged twice for a third night reservation(1st was made through Priceline)Long story short...the hotel would not return my calls after speaking with the manager..who BTW messed up the reservation.I finally had to contact my credit card company and they got the charges reduced (as of now)BUT NOT completely taken off. Better than nothing I guess.We will never return to this hotel.

Kaitlynn D: As always, the Candlewood Suites is a pleasure to stay at, this particular location even more so.I had to book two nights last minute due to inclement weather during my travels, and the front desk ladies were very accommodating. They got my dog and I into a last minute room and they were just overall very pleasant and sweet.The rooms are clean and filled with everything you could need for a short or extended stay, and the coffee in the room really is way better than other hotels.There is no complimentary breakfast at Candlewood Suites, but I vastly prefer their cupboard options, of which there are many.The facilities are plentiful and well-maintained, and this coupled with the lovely staff and clean and spacious room is why I continually seek out Candlewood over all other lodgings.Thank you all for your hard work, especially during the holidays, and for being so kind to my pup and I as we were stranded by the winter storm.

They found a room for us, but let me list everything that was wrong that we noticed in this hotel which was why we got a refund and ran for the hills:Lobby:- musty smelling- only one person at desk- maid came in and ignored front desk worker when asked for list of ready rooms and went out the door for a smoke- hand written note on door to breakfast area saying breakfast not available until further notice per management-1 hour to wait in line then have them say they didn't have our booked room for us before they "found" a clean oneRoom(only in it five minutes):- door had previously been forced open and required full body shove to close.- sheets and blankets were stained- holes in the bathroom wall- towels were dirty- smelled like cigarette smoke (nonsmoking room)- floor was grimeyOn top of all this there were a couple people hanging around the front the entire time looking at everyone in the lobby and peering into cars.This place is filthy, and definitely not somewhere you would feel safe, comfortable or relaxed. I was very thankful that they gave a refund and we did not actually stay the night. Ugh creepy crawly feeling just thinking about it. Run, don't walk away from this placeRooms: See review. Michael Wiggins: This was by far the worst experience staying at a hotel/motel. When I checked in, they gave me a room that someone was already in, I'm sure the lady trying to sleep was just as surprised as I was when I opened her door. When I informed the people at the front desk they did not apologize they just handed me another room key and said the housekeeping would be finished cleaning it in 5 minutes, 45 minutes later I had yet to see a single person go in the room to clean it. Once again I returned to the front desk and they gave me a third room. At least it didn't have cleaning carts or someone sleeping inside it but it was absolutely terrible, tv did not work, water pressure was terrible and half the lights did not work. I would not recommend this place to anyone. One of my friends was staying there as well and she had pretty much the same experience checking in as I did and she said she would never stay there again as well.Rooms: Filthy and rundown
