Jerry Washington: Ive been a Hendrick Lexus kc customer for many, many, years now and they never cease to amaze me each and everytime and this time was no exception at all I was in there about a week ago and purchased a vehicle from Antonio Valles my salesman who was just awesome he really took great care of me and i thank him for all his help and patience and great attitude, and not only him but also to Sam Sammur the Sales Manager and Shayla Bates in F & I to the rest of the Hendrick Team at Hendrick Lexus in Merriam, ks. I mean these are some fantastic people each and every individual there service is always impecable and they just just treat you like you are the only person in the dealership and over time you create a bond to where its like a part of your family and they are very welcoming and patient which is refreshing especially in these times where everyone seems to be in such a hurry but its nice to go to a place where they take the time to truely engage with you hear your concerns and needs and take care of them for you from service to parts and anywhere you need help im telling you, you will be taken care of atleast thats my take on my situations and concerns that ive had and not been let down Mr. Hendrick should be really proud of his merriam, ks employees. Heaven Butler: Had an appointment with Jen & went to get my car serviced. The moment we drove in, she was with another customer. We waited by her door & after she came out she spoke no word to us to even say “I’ll be with you all shortly.” The service manager Chris seen us and asked how we’re doing and it’ll be one second. We waited patiently. Jen passed us and went directly into her office and got on a phone call. Chris put our car ticket in her office and assured us she would help after her phone call wrapped up. As we’re waiting another one lady walked in her office sat down & her keys and got situated. We looked a little baffled but still said nothing. Chris came by again and saw it and took our ticket and helped us (he was great)! After Jen got off the phone she still hadn’t look up to acknowledge us or anything. Feeling slightly weird since this isn’t the first time something like this happened. After Chris helped us, we went to the showroom and looked around. It took awhile for anybody not helping a customer in there to greet us until Joshua came from the back and introduced himself! Joshua J. in the show room had great service & showed us cars! We’ll definitely be back for Chris and Josh but the whole office needs training on proper customer service and ensuring ALL guests are treated fairly. 🙂

Rachel Lopez: This is our second time purchasing from Hendrick Lexus in Merriam. They make it hard to consider going anywhere else. Their service has been and remains superior. Jacob Castro was our salesman and we could not have had a better experience. He was patient and not pushy. I just appreciate the non "salesy" feel of the whole process. He will give you space to have private conversations if you are with someone helping to make the right choice but remain friendly and available when you have questions. My husband and I have been to 3 other dealerships looking for the right car in the past month. We should have just come back to the best place initially - Hendrick Lexus Kansas City.
Kevin Murphy: after pulling in to the service bay, there were two other people waiting and not a service advisor to be seen. We were there 10 minutes before one service advisor appeared. The lady who assisted me was very nice. I purchased a new RX 350 30 days ago and the dash molding is sagging. Unfortunately it took over an hour and a half to determine that the part was warped and they needed to order a replacement. It's on back order, so I have a brand new, expensive car with a sagging dash molding that will be this way for who knows how long. Aside from the service advisor's sincerity and attitude, it was kind of a waste of time.

The staff are courteous and friendly. My only “complaint” was that they offered to vacuum out the interior of my car and told me it was included. I agreed and was pleasantly surprised they would do that. When I got in my car to leave, the front floor mats looked like they were vacuumed by a distracted preschooler. Very little effort was put into it and all under and around the mats nothing had been vacuumed. The rear floor was completely untouched. Now to be clear, I had never expected them to vacuum and never asked for it. But if you’re going to offer the service, then do a job you will be proud of. Otherwise please don’t offer.

Sarah McIntosh: I purchased a vehicle from this location in October of 2022 and sited multiple (minor) issues with it right off the bat (only 1 of which was ever corrected). The passenger side external turn signal light still pops out of place while driving (could EASILY scratch the paint) and the clasp on the inside of the trunk that holds the door to the jack closed wasn’t replaced, just put back, so that door still opens. I purchased MaxCare for 5 yrs and that only seems to have been worthless!! The radio cuts out for absolutely no reason, the GPS switches from miles to kilometers at random and says the speed limit’s 85 in a 30mph zone or 105 in a 65. Then all of a sudden, it started throwing brake system error messages at me!! They can’t fix any of this “in house”. I have to take it to a dealer to have it looked at and corrected. Now today, my car won’t lock using the key faub OR the button on the inside of the drivers’ door!! I CAN’T LOCK MY CAR!!! They key faub is around my neck, NOT in the car. The spare set is in another city.. I wouldn’t buy another car from this place if I HAD to and MaxCare is a joke!!!

Kenneth Lain: This review is worth reading! First and foremost, Carmax is an incredibly honest company. They had sold me a Mercedes benz, which had unknown damage to the frame. When they discovered the mistake, the team at Carmax jumped into action and moved mountains to make it right. Came in with a Mercedes and left with a brand new Acura, and my payment went down! Carmax could have easily screwed me over, and i wouldn't have known any better. But that's just not how Carmax and thier team rolls.If you are looking for a car, ask for Chris J. He's one hell of a guy. Matthew, the manager, was amazing also!

I purchased a 2007 Expedition from them and the vehicle was exactly as they described. Clear history and priced below market. There was an issue with the power liftgate, but they had it fixed before I took delivery. It was really a good buying experience. I recommend you check them out.

Julie Killian: Paid full price ($5000) on a broken 2006 Lincoln Navigator. Not only did they hide error messages (disconnected battery so they wouldnt show up immediately), but after I bought the car the starter and battery went out 4 days later. I replaced those not thinking much about it. The error messages had shown up after I started the car 4 times telling me to check the suspension and the tire gauges. I have had the car since the last week in March. The first week in april the engine started making noise. Long story short it has a rod knocking amongst other pressing issues that is going to cost me $6000 or more to fix. I saved and saved to be able to buy a nice car for my family to safely travel in and you sold me JUNK!

tracey laird: Do NOT buy a car here! They are scam artist taking advantage of good people. I bought a 2004 Cadillac Deville on February 26th. It had low miles and drove great. Started having problems about a week later. We had to pay $525 to replace the power steering pump and $450 to buy new tires. We were told by the shop that the tires were 11 years old and dry rotted. I drove it for a couple days after that without incident, then started having problems again. It was shaking and smelling like burning. I then dropped it off at the Cadillac dealership to have them check it out. I got the phone call this morning. They said it needs almost $10,000 worth of work. They said there’s noway it should have ever passed inspection and that it’s dangerous to drive. The transmission is pouring out fluid, tie rods are bad, too much else to list. I paid $2750 for the car. Courtesy cars btw gave me proof it passed inspection in January so obviously those people are in on the scam. My husband is disabled and I am on unemployment so no idea how we will ever be able to afford another car or get rid of this LEMON!SPEED past this lot as fast as you can and don’t even think about stopping!

I found out months later that they provided the wrong size spare tire for my truck, hole pattern doesn't match - completely useless. I've left 5 messages over about 10 days and no one takes care of it. They could use an upgrade in responsiveness when there are problems after a sale. Same experience last year after I bought the truck. Have to leave messages several times to get a response. They finally took care of the issues last year but only after repeated messages and calls. After my Audi A7 was totaled I looked all over for another one but came across the Audi A6 with Cliff PardueI live in Kansas after we had a slight mixup about his location to complete the sale Cliff agreed to pay the Kansas sales tax when it came to tag my Audi. Then when I went to pick up the vehicle Cliff (not myself ). Noticed that my right headlight wasn’t working. So he agree that he would pay to have that fixed . So ,he sent the car off to have the repairs done and PAID for the repairs and labor !! Absolutely AMAZING!!Now , I have cancer and between treatments , and everyday life it can get very stressful and worrisome. But , Cliff Pardue handled every detail when it came to repairing my vehicle and making sure I was placed in a reliable and safe automobile. My Audi is a 2013 A6 and yes with age it’s expected that small things will arise but what isn’t expected is for an owner to go to such amazing lengths to ensure I had a safe relabel transportation.THANK TOUCliff !!.

I went first thing the next day by myself to look at it (I was off work and hubs wasn't). I knew my husband would love it instantly! They patiently answered all of my abundant questions, helped me analyze financing options, and worked with me so kindly.When we went in to look at the truck as a family they were so friendly to our kids, answered my husbands questions as he saw the truck for the first time, and built up the excitement for our test drive as a family. They had all of the paperwork and financing ready to go and were very efficient. It didn't take long at all and was simple and well explained. He also coached us through the trade in/pay-off process of our old vehicle (which we got a very very fair trade-in offer on!).We ran into a snag with our inspection paperwork as it had expired the day before. They had slightly miscalculated the timeline. They apologized AND helped us find a place to get into within the hour so we could get the title process taken care of that same day still. They also had a loaner set up for when we brought in the truck for that planned repair they were doing as part of our purchase agreement.We absolutely love our truck and our family is really enjoying it.
