Linda Cohen: Buyer Beware! Business', DO NOT get the Assurion insurance for your equipment. It is not valid for commercial use!I bought a Epson Workforce 7720. First, problem is they do not stay connected. You have to go through restarting the printer and I changed the port to force a reconnect. Finally after a 20/30 min ordeal you get it connected. I ended up getting another printer. I have only run about 50 sheet, mostly test pages while fighting the connection.Well, after a year of sitting in the corner, I decided to convert to a sublimation by using refillable cartridges. It worked great for about 15 prints and then the cyan caps came off the head. I tried to use the insurance to get it fixed or replace just to be told it is denied because it is being used for commercial use.I was not disclosed the Assurion insurance policy does not cover your equipment if your a business!Don't Waste Your Money for Insurance!
DJ Hop: I have been here several time. Every time I went the place was low energy and poor customer service. They don't acknowledge you and act like they are doing you a favor. I like to support stores like Staples but this place will not get my money.
Bob Parsons: This is more for the company than this specific location. Found a monitor I wanted to purchase on website. Shows available at this location. Get there and after searching they determine the stock is unsalable and should not be listed. Order online, which states "Next Day Deliver", although through the process it says it would be a Wed delivery, which is 2 days. Get the notification it shipped today, which is a Wed. Contact customer care and all they had to say is I should have checked the confirmation to see the actual delivery date. Go to the website and sure enough it still shows next day delivery, although mine is now on 3 days. Guess they don't care they a false advertising or inaccurate information. So if you want to know when your product is actually going to be delivered, you have to purchase the item, then wait for the confirmation email. Makes sense to me.
Christopher: Staples is a good office supply store, with great products, but when purchases are made, here is some advice for you. Do not purchase the protection plan, as I did, it was a total waste of money. Bought a gaming chair, the protection plan gives a whole list of coverage, but they leave out plenty of fine print, and then you are just out money that you will not see a return on...

Neil Dunham: I'm looking for simple office items. I did manage to find one item I needed. This store is an absolute cluster of a mess. There is stuff strewn all about different isles that don't belong in those locations. They, like many companies, are low on most products. The floors are covered in litter, and it looks like they have not cleaned in days. There was not one person up front to great or check me out. It took a man in a large black leather coat 8 minutes before coming up to me to ask if I was ready. "Mind you, he was shopping in ordinary clothes, so I thought he was another shopper." Not the experience I would expect from an Overland Park retail store. I will have to stick to online orders if this is what I am to expect in the future.
AJ Krehbiel: Unreasonably rude for no real reason? I went in and asked for help buying an office chair, and the associate that helped me immediately started talking about “useless mask mandates” (I was wearing mine because the store’s signage asked us to do so) and then patronized me about not getting the warranty. “We have to make sure we’re covered since you chose not to cover yourself.” If I’m coming in with a desire to spend a couple hundred dollars, I would feel a lot better about the interaction if the associates didn’t treat me like dirt. Just a really weird experience.
Andrea MCCORNELL: The management team went above and beyond to ensure that I received my personal items that were accidentally left in the store. I really appreciate their effort in sending me my belongings.

Amy Cannon: The man who runs the copies is grumpy, rude, and completely disrespectful. I came in twice. Once to ask a question and thesecond time to place an order. He made it very clear that I was an inconvenience and that he had no time or patience for me or my small order. As soon as he snapped at me and told me not to just drop in and said I should have done it online, he went back to sitting in a chair behind the counter. When I mentioned the interaction to management on my way out, the manager just nodded his head and didn't say a word to me... literally did not speak to me.

I was attempting to return something that an instacart driver messed up and I couldn’t because they would take the virtual receipt. The other manager said you have to retune it through instacart and someone comes to pick it up and returns it to the store.We have never received a receipt from our instacart drivers, I have been able to return things before even from instacart to other businesses and I was simply trying to make an exchange. Go to the staples near oak park and stay clear. The managers are rude.
Nicole Sowers: My issue is they dont have electric scooters or anything for disabled people. My husband is a below the knee amputee and when we went in my husband went and sat in a chair to wait. When it was time to leave he fell getting up. I was the one that had to go help him up. We were given a number to call in a complaint then told they didn't see it on camera and gave us the run around when trying to call corporate. Looks like it's time to get a lawyer. All stores should have something for disabled/elderly people to comfortably be able to shop. Seems like disability discrimination to me.
Linda Davis: Don’t bother using this location for copy services. They don’t have enough employees (May 2022) and are turning people away. I needed a few things laminated, was glad to leave them and pick them up in a few days but the worker told me he was just too overwhelmed to except any other projects. We made copies several times a month and this is the norm. Until they get staffing back, find another place for copy services

Each time I’ve gone in he proceeds to tell me there’s nothing he can do to help me and then someone else tells me that they can easily help me! I don’t doubt that he does a good job on regular labor but customer service isn’t really his strong suit!

Since I did not, I will just say that the overall customer service was terrible. Do better!!I called beforehand to ensure that they closed at 8. The man replied, “8 PM... SHARP!” I thought, great, and that I’ll still have time to print. I arrive at Staples at 7:45 PM. As I walked over to the Copy and Print department, the older man asked, “Can I help you?” I replied and said, “Oh, I just needed to print something.” The employee proceeded to say, “If you can make it quick.”I didn’t entertain that statement because I thought it was quite rude. I understand they may want to close on time, but it was only 7:45 PM, and I didn’t have a large amount to print... I only had to print two pages. I started my print process, and while I waited for the system to load, I saw another employee walk towards his coworker. I look up, and we lock eyes.. he doesn’t say a word to me.They proceeded to have an A & B conversation, but I could hear them. The older employee is complaining about how he’s not going to get out on time, so forth and so on. Do understand that this is all happening within a short time frame. You would think if they were so worried about getting out on time that one of them would have assisted me in making the printing process faster, but they didn’t. I was done printing and out of there before 7:50 PM... and best believe I won’t be back!

Thank you Gillian for going above and beyond while juggling 10 other projects. Your superior customer service does not go unnoticed. Bravo staples - you have a gem. Take care of her :)

David Lien: Working from home the last three weeks has made me realize that my old office chair should have gone in the trash many years ago. I went to Staples today to buy a new one because my back wasn’t starting to hurt from sitting in the old one. I found a model I liked and got the attention of a sales guy. He informed me that they were out of that model. I asked if I could buy the display model since I wanted to get one today. He said they normally don’t do that but he went to check with his manager. When he came back, he said they would sell me the chair if I bought the extended service plan which was around $50. It just felt like they were trying screw me because I wanted to buy a chair right away. I actually had never shopped at Staples before today. I probably won’t be back again.
L Mont: I like coming to this Staples because the service is always good. They also have great deals. The store is always nice and clean. The employees are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this location. Staples is a great place to get all your office supplies.
