Teddy For: They scheduled me an appointment a couple weeks out for service that they are unable to do. They waited until the day prior to let me know they wouldn't be able to do the service
Steve Gorden: I am disappointed in my experience with Lee’s Summit Honda. I had a problem diagnosed as a fouled spark plug due to failed compression rings in 2020 at 58,000 miles on my 2016 Odyssey. I was told it is a known problem for older models and the cost of the repair would be covered by Honda. The problem returned in May 2023 at 76,000 miles. I returned to Lee’s Summit Honda and had the problem diagnosed as a fouled spark plug due to fouled compression rings. I was very surprised and disappointed to be told the previous problem had returned so soon. The reputation of Honda vehicles is legendary for durability as most everyone knows. To have TWO major engine repairs in less than 80,000 miles is very strange. I expected Lee’s Summit Honda to jump at the chance to get to the bottom of this situation. The initial response was that they would cover 1% and I would be responsible for 99%. This being unacceptable to me I spoke to a service manager and a new offer of 50/50 cost coverage was agreed to in order to get my vehicle back. The original repair clearly should have lasted significantly more than 28,000 miles, and the fact that Lee’s Summit Honda would not stand behind their repair should make everyone think twice about having service performed there. I am driving 20 minutes further to another dealership to have work done on my Honda from now on.

In short, I believe I was taken advantage of.During my visit, the dealership informed me that my battery terminal required repair and insisted on replacing the part, quoting a staggering $270 for the repair and an additional cost for a new battery, resulting in a total estimate of $660. However, I later discovered that the part they claimed to be so expensive could be easily purchased for a mere $8 at any local parts store. This blatant overpricing left me feeling cheated and deceived.Ultimately, I decided to have the repair carried out at Firestone instead, where they replaced the battery and performed the necessary repair for a reasonable total cost of $270. This stark contrast in pricing only confirmed my suspicion that the dealership was attempting to exploit customers for their own financial gain.While I understand the challenges the automotive industry faces, especially given the current circumstances, I firmly believe that inflating prices on parts is not an acceptable approach.To compound my disappointment, I discovered that the dealership had also failed to tighten my lug nuts after a tire rotation back in 2020. Shockingly, no apology was offered, nor was any form of compensation or future discount provided.I advise seeking alternatives and caution against giving this dealership your business.

This is my second lease at this dealer within 2 years, and each time they have beaten out the other Honda dalers in the area both with pricing and customer service. If you're looking for a kind, friendly, trustworthy, and experienced salesman ask for Kyle. He fought for the pricing I was wanting and the entire time I felt like he was on my side trying to make the deal that was right for me. Not to mention I feel like Jaywolfe often offers extras on the cars for little to nothing added on to the price so if you want the most bang for your buck this is where you need to be shopping for your next car.

Vehicle was priced well, and they didn’t try and give me a shakedown with hidden fees or unnecessary add-ons. Very down to earth people. Michele Fry: Overall, great service. Today they were super busy during the time that I had a scheduled appointment. Was a little disappointed that the service person who checked me in, didn't make sure that everything was done before releasing the car back to me. I had a tire pressure low sensor on after getting new tires. When he returned the car to me...the sensor light was still on. Not something you can miss when you start the car. So, he gets back in and messes with the computer settings. Did he recalibrate the tires or just clear that alert? I guess time will tell.

I live nearly an hour away and when I got there in the morning for the appointment they informed me that the part was not in. I asked why would you make me an appointment if you don’t have the part and even send a reminder the day prior. They could have called and let me know instead wasted gas and time off taken. It is a “BUY AS IS”I bought a nice 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe for $4,900 at 188k miles, but once I got it fixed (the bill was $2k to fix everything) the mechanic said it should’ve never passed inspection. The car still works has minor issues. I knew what I was signing up for but the inspection part was a surprise. So be careful.

First off the horn doesn't work has a bank one system error fuel pump issue. Battery has died on me 3 times the first week having it. This is completely wrong if ur gonna sell a car and has those kind of issues the buyer deserves to know what ALL is wrong with it. Plus there's a lean on that has prevented me from purchasing plates for a whole month. This place has to be one of the worst car dealership

Eric Hyde: I brought one of our vehicles in recently for service. When I returned to the dealership to pick up my vehicle, there was a delay in getting the service completed. Not usually a problem. However on this day I needed to get to my daughter’s school for her Science Fair. Kayden offered a loaner vehicle to me for a couple of hours, so I could make it to the event on time. I was so grateful for Kayden stepping up and offering this. We have always been happy with our service at Legends Honda. Everyone in the Service Department is friendly, and they do a great job communicating with their customers and meeting their needs.

Miranda kept me informed of when the vehicle would arrive and made sure everything was ready to go. When we arrived, the car was washed and ready for a test drive. Someone had even taken the extra step of adding their big bow to the hood, which my daughter thought was great. Gregory went over all of the features of the car with knowledge and enthusiasm. Miranda and Gregory helped us finish up the buying process and it was smooth and efficient. They provided no pressure and took the time needed to make sure we understood everything even though we were running a little past closing time. At the end, Gregory gave me his business card and told me to call anytime if I had questions over any of the features. After researching vehicles for the last 6 months, I decided on a 23’ Honda Pilot. They are hard to find and I reached out to every dealership in a 100 mile radius. Last month, I was ecstatic to find out Legends had one on their build sheet in the color and trim level I wanted and it was scheduled to come in the timeline I needed. I confirmed out-the-door price by text and over the phone. With their “total transparent” pricing and great customer service reviews, I felt safe agreeing to their non-refundable deposit. Today, I noticed the website had a higher price listed for the vehicle. I reached out to my contact at the dealership to make sure the agreed upon price would be honored. I was then informed that he had forgotten to add in the premium color cost, so he could not honor the originally agreed upon price and I would have to pay more for the vehicle. If I found that unacceptable, he offered a refund of my deposit. While I appreciate the refund, I believe all businesses have a responsibility to make mistakes right. He explained policy doesn’t allow discounts. I would argue discounts and honoring an agreed upon price are two different things. I turned down multiple other dealerships after making the deposit and I am now stuck paying more or starting over with my search. Although this is going to leave me in a difficult situation because I need a vehicle quickly, I am not willing to do business with a dealership that doesn’t keep their word. While I am sure most people will probably have a great buying experience with them, that was not the case for me and I hope others do not run into the same issue. It was very disappointing.

Michael: I went in and inquired about a Camaro SS that they had, took it for a test drive and fell in love with the car immediately! Went in and talked to them about the price and then took a day and searched around for something equal for a comparison and couldn't find anything even close. They were the most aggressively priced dealership I could find anywhere for the type of car and options on the car. Went inside and dealt with Esmeralda, she answered all of my questions about the buying process, ran numbers for me as I tried to decide how much I wanted to put down and printed out the results so I could take it home and use it to decide what I wanted my payments to be. The whole dealership is very helpful without that stuffy robotic business feel but still very professional at the same time. All in all it was a great buying experience, I felt like I got a good deal on the car, and they make you feel like family as well. It took about an hour to do the paperwork from start to finish, as most things are done online now, been a minute since I've bought a car. I contacted them the day I was coming up to look at it one more time before deciding whether or not to pull the trigger, they had the car sitting by the door with a full tank of gas, fully detailed and ready to roll. Signed the papers while everyone congratulated me, then jumped in my new car and took it home. It's my second purchase from the legends stores, my first having been my wife's Fusion from Toyota. Both stores are a great experience as far as buying a car goes and I would definitely buy another car from either store should the need or want arise in the future!
