Aaron Watson: I have been to the office twice and the dentists have taken care of me both visits. It did require an extended time on the phone line to get everything setup but it wasn’t overly long.
Louis Robichaud: We visited the other day my mother and I. The issue was a tooth extraction. I spoke with the ladies in the front and they acted patient and responded to all my insurance issues. The appointment went good and it’s all fixed up.
Pamela Sullivan: I was dealing with quite a bit of pain with a cracked tooth. I was also waiting a long time. About 45 minutes. Not a good combination. But they were able to fix the tooth so I am pleased. 👍

H O: I had been coming to the Dentists of Independence for a few years and things were fine. Yesterday, after my x-ray, the assistant and dentist picked at my teeth and kept talking about how I need to floss my teeth more often (I agree). Then, they suggested I have a deep cleaning at another time. They brought in a young man to explain the prices, kind of like a closer at a car dealership. He informed me it would cost about $1,400. I replied this was a rip-off and was not going to do this. Of course he took umbrage and that ended things. They refunded $30 of my $107. So I wasted a few hours or my time and $77 for nothing (other than an x-ray).

Norma Melendez: Dr. Mohammed Nuru, DDS., and ALL staff at Dentists of Independence Thank You. He has a great team of family and staff. They are all top of the line professionals, with superb workmanship, artistry and state of the art equipment! A CEREC Milling Unit (for same day crowns & implants). A lab on site, 3D Imaging, and TV for his patients to watch while waiting, or just to relax if they wish. Kid friendly environment very welcoming. I thought there was no hope, unless I spent a fortune. His fees are very reasonable, accepting all insurances or out of pocket patients and still affordable for all incomes, they will work with you. The whole staff is very caring, compassionate, and patient with a desire to make each patients happy with their results. This will always be my dentist, and even if I live hundreds of miles away, I will fly or drive to Dentists of Independence, for all of my dental needs. If you need quality work, at an affordable price, then you need to call Dentists of Independence to set up an appointment. You will thank God you did. I do every day....Thank you so much!Always, your most grateful patient

devcleve: I’ve been here twice for dental repair. Once to fix a cavity in a front tooth and once to repair a tooth that had broken. Both times, I was able to set an appointment within a week of calling and upon arriving, they were comfortably busy with only a client or two present other than me.I was taken back immediately following check in and seen by the assistant immediately after that and the dr immediately after that and so on.I felt important and attended to. The assistants and dr were both very nice and professional. The office is clean and the equipment is modern.I was satisfied with the quality of the repair and received exactly what I’d asked for.I have no insurance, repairing the broken tooth was $280.All things considered, I will be coming back to this office for all future dental work.Thank you.
Bailey Johnson: The staff was all very kind and friendly but they quoted me over $600 for a deep cleaning for Periodontitis and to fix a filling and that was after insurance... I went to another dentist and they did the same procedures and said yes I need to floss more in the back of my teeth but found no signs of Periodontitis, not even Gingivitis, which occurs before Periodontitis... The other dentist was also able to fix my filling within one hour and covered completely by insurance. While the staff was friendly, I do not appreciate dentist's who over quote and charge for unnecessary procedures and want people to be aware of these types of scams.
Meena H: Pros: Clean, friendly, thorough. They don't mind outlining my options, answering questions, and are always polite. Reasonably priced and willing to work to correct mistakes. They worked with me as a new patient when another office used my benefits improperly. Now for theCons: operated by one dentist, Dr. Nuru who I'm coming to think is inexperienced.He's very personable, but takes longer than usual for simple things like fillings. He also did a same day crown for me that even a year later has resulted in more sensitivity than I had before the crown. The lower tooth that meets that crown has now cracked and also needs a crown. That's even after going back for a bite adjustment.Then on the other side he put a filling on a tooth that needs a crown which resulted in the filling breaking, and hours in the chair redoing it. Then it broke AGAIN!I'm quite annoyed that I spent so much time and money there when the filling (that should have been a crown) and the cracked tooth banging again the crown they did, might have been avoided by going to a more experienced dentist.
Taiton Wurtz: I haven't been to the dentist in 6+ years due to poor dental treatment and lack of compassion. BUT YALL... I have nothing, but great things to say about this group and facility. Their call center who scheduled my original appointment was even great! Front desk staff very friendly. Drs and tech were so nice and patient. They took time to talk to me in detail about my concerns/fears. I also appreciated that they talked through their procedures step by step. Will refer them to anyone in a heartbeat. I am hopeful after a few more visits like these, my fear of the dentist will be gone!

OranjeKola: I would never visit this office again. For any reason.When I arrived at 11 even though I had been to Aspen Dental in LS I was told that my insurance would not be accepted. I then waited an hour before I even saw the dentist who then proceeded to poke at the teeth that were in pain and send me back up front to figure out my method of payment. Where I was told my care credit would not be accepted and that I needed to call CareCredit and get my card fixed while they proceeded to ALL take their lunch break. After I called CareCedit they told me there was no reason my card would not be accepted and that no charge attempts had even been made to my card. Crazy. Then I proceeded to wait for another 2 hours before the receptionist ask me what I was waiting for?!?!? They then went back and forth with me on my insurance again and had apparently made a new patient account for me? Then FINALLY I went in to get my teeth pulled. Because I was so numbed I obviously couldn't tell but, the dentist completely annihilated my gums while removing my teeth. I had more pain from the cuts in my gums than from the tooth pull.Thanks a lot. What a horrible 4 hours of my life.If you know whats good for you, you will skip going to this Dentist.
Andrew: I hadn’t been to the dentist in about 10 years so I was very nervous. This place exceeded my expectations. Dr Nick and the hygiene Kaylee were so thorough and explained everything so I understood. I was able to get a cleaning and an extraction same day and it was amazing.
Patty Oswald: This place is horrible, had my teeth pulled for dentures,I only saw my actual dentist twice, was told it was because they had a big turn over. Then they tell you you wont pay more then they quote, then charged me over a thousand more, and would not give me my dentures until I payed in full. then my dentures were huge from the first time I put them in, and tried to reach them by phone but always rang busy,finally drove to the office and was told system was down and had been for awhile that is why they weren't answering phones. It has been an awful experience. Still wearing teeth that fall out.

But they even found a way for me to have full dentures on a small low income in my insurance paid it all. I am so glad that I went to my appointment to Aspen dental so that I could get what I needed to eat healthier and to have more self love for my smile. Thank you Aspen dental for being there while everything else in my life seems upside down you put my smile right side up thank you.update, I told my friend in tx about Aspen, I'm now sorry I did, I now also have a new dentist. If you want affordable teeth or dentures, not where the mold is is not ready in 4 to 5 visits. My friend can't even get his REAL dentures for six months and he's making payments, run don't walk to the nearest exit. My opinion. It's a free country. You have been warned.
Tammy Wickizer: My husband was having the worst pain he’s ever had we made an appointment on a weekend was able to get one the next day. Aspen was very kind from the moment we walked in the door. They made my husband feel very comfortable on his first visit. He had a really bad infection. They were able to get him in the next day to get that taken care of. I was really impressed and relieved they did a wonderful job.

Debbie Epperson: This place is a joke. Beware of all the "work" you need to have done. My husband and I stopped going here and found a dentist that is a sole practitioner. In other words, not part of a quota pushing corporation. All the thousands of dollars worth of work they claimed my husband needed was a lie. Period. They were cleaning my teeth every 3 months instead of 6, sucking all of the insurance dollars and also charging me $135 on top of it. Doing the SAME EXACT cleaning job on my teeth as they were doing on my husband. Good riddance. Beware to all.

Moriah Ireland: As soon as I arrived it was a new girl working the front. She was super nice. When they called me back the nurse that helped me was also a very nice African American lady. After they called the doctor back to evaluate my teeth she had me smile and simply said “no we can’t do this implant, go to where you normally go” because it was in the front of my smile. The nurse tried to explain to her that my Orthodontist referred me to get my implant at this location. And she was super hateful and rude to her own nurse and cut her off mid sentence saying “no. Listen to me. I said we can’t do this implant.” I thought it was very unprofessional how she was talking to her nurse in front of a CUSTOMER. Also they FAILED to tell me I had to check out at the desk after they refused my implant. The front desk woman never stopped me or mentioned checking out. I had to go to work that night so I wasn’t able to go back to pay the 20$ they charged me to SMILE. Litterly. So they need are charging me 100$ for refusing my services..I work customer service so I understand people can be very nit picky on their services. But the way the doctor treated her nurses in front of a CUSTOMER had me angry for the nice lady.

Jessi: Usually I don’t write reviews, but I made the exception for this. I came in today thinking my teeth were beyond repair, and to my surprise they fixed them right up. I was so embarrassed walking in, but they didn’t make me feel ashamed or anything. I have major cracks in my front teeth that left me insecure, but now my smile looks wonderful. When I was getting my teeth done I was shaking on the seat, which was embarrassing. The dentists made sure I felt calm and told me stories to calm me down. I 100% recommend this dentists. Such kind and caring staff who just want people to live their smile

Michelle Benson: Nurse Haylee and Doctor Ellis are phenomenal!! 😍 We have had bad experiences with a few dental offices in the past. Our daughter hated even the idea of going...but let me tell you! From the moment we walked through the door Haylee made my daughter comfortable. She helped us throughout the check in process and then took us back where we met Doctor Ellis. From the moment she came in she made us comfortable! She started talking to my daughter and myself and assured me they would do everything they could to help our little girl. At one point they both had her laughing on the table!! I highly recommend this place and their staff to anyone who needs dental care for their kids! Me and my husband will be in for our appointments soon.

Katie Kraxberger: Drilled a qtr inch wide hole, about an inch deep into the underside of my sons tongue during a root canal/filling that they have now had to do TWICE and is still not done correctly.Didn't say ANYTHING to us as parents, told my son to put Orajel on it. He had to go to the ER, get stitches and is at high risk for infection. Crown never completed. Santed us to return in two weeks!!Needless to say attorneys are now involved l, my son can't eat. Today when called the "owner" and dentist that preformed the procure WITHOUT ANY NUMBING AGENT offered to "prescribe pain medicatio" now a whole day and ER visit laterBEWARE AND BE CAREFIL

Krystin Heidbreder: My son came in for a cleaning and he only got fluoride brushed on his teeth. No cleaning, no looking at his teeth at all. Then the doctor was supposed to come in and look and speak to me about his teeth and she said not one word to me just barely looked in his mouth and an assistant said 8 cavities mom. Not telling me which ones, showing which ones, nothing. Then said we will need to do all 8 together and put him to sleep at our sister office and schedule that appt with the front desk have a nice day. I will be taking my child to a different dentist and will not be returning here. This was his first experience and I didn't like the treatment he got because it wasn't a cleanijg nor did the dentist speak to me at all like they should.
Jacquelyn Gibbs: I took my daughter here for several years and they are good with kids. Make them feel comfortable and have movies playing on the ceiling so the kids can focus on something else. Rescheduling is a pain though. They've rescheduled me out as far as 6 months. Most recently I had surgery and had to reschedule my daughter's cleaning and they were booking far out, again. Fortunately a other clinic nearby was able to get us in as a new patient within a week!

Sara Brown: Disappointed in ABC dental. I have 4 daughters. I have never had a problem with them. Until I took my 4th daughter there. The employee that answer the phone is the most disrespectful person. She thinks it was okay to cause problems between my daughters father and I. I will never take my children to this hateful place again.

Lisa Zaragoza: Never had a problem til today, the dental assistant called my kid back and the girl with black hair and blonde ends got up to give the assistant the red light til my 2 insurances went through. Once I gave the info I went back to find her laying there not being worked on, the assistant went to the front desk to get the green light from the girl with black hair blonde ends. This place is not worth being treated like you can’t afford to fix your kids teeth! Unfortunately they lost 2 patients!

Also this lady named Monica butts in and asks when was her appointment takes all the attention away from us talking and when she says 8:40 she says No with a funky attitude. Who even asked you and then to give a response like yeah not ok.....
Erika Brown: ABC Dental is a great office to visit for a routine cleaning and oral evaluation. My son had to have some cavities removed and caps placed.The staff does a great job in explaining the procedure and answering questions.
Elena Stivers: Both of my children had an appointment, one is at 8am and the other at 8:40am, so I had to bring them both together. Well, they insisted that I leave my little one in a waiting room by herself while I go in with my oldest kid. They insisted i leave her by herself in a waiting room that is full of strangers and front door that anyone can go in and out! Very dangerous and absolutely NOT safe! Will never go there again! They just lost 3 patients!!
