Jonathan Degood: If i was to say that this place knew what they were doing and able to respect ppl 100%... that would be the biggest lie in my life.Just got done with my last visit for my dentures, i voiced my concerned on them and the ppl didnt really listen much.. they made some minor adjustments, but with my satisfaction.. well there is none.I see myself going to a different dentist after i get ahold of my insurance and have them approve a visit.If you want some service that they do what they want and have the i'm right but ill listen to your concerns and not care attitude this is the place to be.
Courtney Breshears: I took my 3 year old and almost 2 year old to their first dentist appointments at Dr. Hashberger's office. Everyone was SO nice and welcoming. From the front desk, to every staff member we came across. They were very patient and I loved the way everyone interacted with my children. Dr Harshberger made everyone feel comfortable and was very encouraging to my scared little ones. He is one of the nicest people I have ever met.
Michele Pearson: Had to change my raving 5 review, to a 2.I thought I was going to get the best work done on my mouth based on their 5 star reviews. This is why they went from 5 to 2 (the 2 is because the are friendly and and professional in a nice way)But here's the thing. First, I paid them upfront before they did the work on my mourh.(mistake). They do not offer any sedation for getting teeth pulled.i had 5. It was a painful pull to say the least. Also, Dr. Hershberger, pulled the wrong tooth and left the one I wanted pulled. He then acted like that was alright to do when I said something about it. The two front teeth were temporary crowns that need to be redone. That's all. He left one of them and pulled the one next to it that didn't need to be pulled. My family was shocked when they saw how he left my mouth. I big tooth with the wrong two gone. My partials do not fit well, so I can't stand to eat with them in. The grand finale for me, was when I went back to get them adjusted, they wanted to charge me for it. Really, your job was to make them fit right the first time. IMO, you should not have to pay to get them adjusted. Well I will find someone else to help me get my partials fixed and make them comfortable. Do not go there unless you have a high pain tolerance for getting g multiple teeth pulled out at once. Sorry to backtrack but I had to on this one. You have been warned!!!!
Terrena Collins: Look at this smile!!! I never write reviews, because I'm just not patient enough to sit still and do it. Buuut.... this right here. I wanted everyone to see my smile. It's still in progress even!! We're not even done till I'm healed and there's no swelling! Dr.Harshberger and his staff are the best of the best. They're fun, professional, and a down right humble family environment. I'm so beyond happy I've had the opportunity to me this group and trust them to get my smile back! wanda sims: He is determined if noting else. Did not have good experience there.He insisted on making partial for my lower teeth. Told him I did not want them,but he insisted they were free so may as well make them. They are poorly made don't fit.The upper denture had to be made twice.. the ones I settled for are to loose and made very different. I'VE worn dentures for 50 yrs. Have had several pair. These Feel very strange in my mouth. The material they are made from feels slimy. Not a happy customer.
P M: Omgosh I so totally ten star recommend however I have not got the work done yet but he has made me feel 150% confident with this office and my treatment plan. So very very knowledgeable as well as patient with me and my million questions! He had every question answered!! When I asked for a display he went back and provided it, pulled up photos to show me and help me understand the process the steps and all that I needed. Very kind ladies!! I went in embarrassed to have them look and left without feeling any judgement or out of place. Great team and environment!!

It is always a pleasant experience from when you first walk in to see the receptionist to when you get your teeth cleaned by hygienists to when you speak/work with the doctor himself. Everyone is so friendly and professional. They genuinely care about their patients! I always appreciate when Dr. Harshberger and his staff takes time to speak with me and answer all of my questions. The doctor even takes time to talk about other things outside dental stuff! Side note: This place has always been super sanitary even before Covid-19. It just shows you how professional they are when comes to taking precautions with staff and patients!
Heather Bell: I can't give enough stars. I was on a search for a new dentist and found Premier. Dr. Harshberger and all the staff went above and beyond. I have a horrid fear of dentists (just from past experiences) which means *super* high anxiety. The receptionist was really kind and welcoming. The dental hygienist (terribly sorry, I'm bad with names) did such an incredible job of making me feel comfortable and at ease and was just really sweet (and gentle! Yay!). And Dr. Harshberger was so down to earth and sincere. Most of the dentists I've been to seem to be all about the money. But the Dr and all of his staff were so honest, kind, and knowledgeable. It truly was all good vibes. Also, after finding cavities during my checkup, the Dr asked if I'd like to get them filled. While I was there?! I'd never had this happen and now, after a quick and smooth fix-up (not waiting weeks/months of worry), I'm good to go until my next cleaning in six months. Couldn't be happier. Recommending to all I know :)

M.D. Stancil: The best Dentist I've been to in over 50 years. The staff and Dr. H. were totally awesome in work and service. They did the best Dentures for me ever and took care of my 16 Year old girls cavity and filling with great success and she didn't mind it. Very little or no pain she said.

H O: I had been coming to the Dentists of Independence for a few years and things were fine. Yesterday, after my x-ray, the assistant and dentist picked at my teeth and kept talking about how I need to floss my teeth more often (I agree). Then, they suggested I have a deep cleaning at another time. They brought in a young man to explain the prices, kind of like a closer at a car dealership. He informed me it would cost about $1,400. I replied this was a rip-off and was not going to do this. Of course he took umbrage and that ended things. They refunded $30 of my $107. So I wasted a few hours or my time and $77 for nothing (other than an x-ray).

Norma Melendez: Dr. Mohammed Nuru, DDS., and ALL staff at Dentists of Independence Thank You. He has a great team of family and staff. They are all top of the line professionals, with superb workmanship, artistry and state of the art equipment! A CEREC Milling Unit (for same day crowns & implants). A lab on site, 3D Imaging, and TV for his patients to watch while waiting, or just to relax if they wish. Kid friendly environment very welcoming. I thought there was no hope, unless I spent a fortune. His fees are very reasonable, accepting all insurances or out of pocket patients and still affordable for all incomes, they will work with you. The whole staff is very caring, compassionate, and patient with a desire to make each patients happy with their results. This will always be my dentist, and even if I live hundreds of miles away, I will fly or drive to Dentists of Independence, for all of my dental needs. If you need quality work, at an affordable price, then you need to call Dentists of Independence to set up an appointment. You will thank God you did. I do every day....Thank you so much!Always, your most grateful patient

devcleve: I’ve been here twice for dental repair. Once to fix a cavity in a front tooth and once to repair a tooth that had broken. Both times, I was able to set an appointment within a week of calling and upon arriving, they were comfortably busy with only a client or two present other than me.I was taken back immediately following check in and seen by the assistant immediately after that and the dr immediately after that and so on.I felt important and attended to. The assistants and dr were both very nice and professional. The office is clean and the equipment is modern.I was satisfied with the quality of the repair and received exactly what I’d asked for.I have no insurance, repairing the broken tooth was $280.All things considered, I will be coming back to this office for all future dental work.Thank you.
Bailey Johnson: The staff was all very kind and friendly but they quoted me over $600 for a deep cleaning for Periodontitis and to fix a filling and that was after insurance... I went to another dentist and they did the same procedures and said yes I need to floss more in the back of my teeth but found no signs of Periodontitis, not even Gingivitis, which occurs before Periodontitis... The other dentist was also able to fix my filling within one hour and covered completely by insurance. While the staff was friendly, I do not appreciate dentist's who over quote and charge for unnecessary procedures and want people to be aware of these types of scams.
Meena H: Pros: Clean, friendly, thorough. They don't mind outlining my options, answering questions, and are always polite. Reasonably priced and willing to work to correct mistakes. They worked with me as a new patient when another office used my benefits improperly. Now for theCons: operated by one dentist, Dr. Nuru who I'm coming to think is inexperienced.He's very personable, but takes longer than usual for simple things like fillings. He also did a same day crown for me that even a year later has resulted in more sensitivity than I had before the crown. The lower tooth that meets that crown has now cracked and also needs a crown. That's even after going back for a bite adjustment.Then on the other side he put a filling on a tooth that needs a crown which resulted in the filling breaking, and hours in the chair redoing it. Then it broke AGAIN!I'm quite annoyed that I spent so much time and money there when the filling (that should have been a crown) and the cracked tooth banging again the crown they did, might have been avoided by going to a more experienced dentist.
Taiton Wurtz: I haven't been to the dentist in 6+ years due to poor dental treatment and lack of compassion. BUT YALL... I have nothing, but great things to say about this group and facility. Their call center who scheduled my original appointment was even great! Front desk staff very friendly. Drs and tech were so nice and patient. They took time to talk to me in detail about my concerns/fears. I also appreciated that they talked through their procedures step by step. Will refer them to anyone in a heartbeat. I am hopeful after a few more visits like these, my fear of the dentist will be gone!

Andy Charles: Not something you’d traditionally think of a dentist for but our newborn was not feeding well. Pediatrician said he did not have any tongue ties, took him to Dr Deacy and she not only diagnosed him with a posterior tongue tie but an upper lip tie as well (causing it to blister from feeding) 5 minutes later problems solved. Feeding/latching a million times better.
Terrie OBrien: I have been going to Dental Art for several years now. All the Staff are wonderful . They make sure you are comfortable. I have always been afraid to go to the dentist. But I don't feel that way there.

I had about 6 teeth taken at one time to be able to get dentures and I was only in pain that day and the next morning.They really do put Excellence in everything they do. :)

Debbie Epperson: This place is a joke. Beware of all the "work" you need to have done. My husband and I stopped going here and found a dentist that is a sole practitioner. In other words, not part of a quota pushing corporation. All the thousands of dollars worth of work they claimed my husband needed was a lie. Period. They were cleaning my teeth every 3 months instead of 6, sucking all of the insurance dollars and also charging me $135 on top of it. Doing the SAME EXACT cleaning job on my teeth as they were doing on my husband. Good riddance. Beware to all.

Vernesha Creal: I have visited this dental clinic serval times looking for a new dentist office, with appointments made on two different occasions I came in just for them to look at my mouth and not do any work! One time I was having severe tooth pain, with an appointment made after waiting a week with pain there was still nothing done about to fix my problem or relieve my pain.

Moriah Ireland: As soon as I arrived it was a new girl working the front. She was super nice. When they called me back the nurse that helped me was also a very nice African American lady. After they called the doctor back to evaluate my teeth she had me smile and simply said “no we can’t do this implant, go to where you normally go” because it was in the front of my smile. The nurse tried to explain to her that my Orthodontist referred me to get my implant at this location. And she was super hateful and rude to her own nurse and cut her off mid sentence saying “no. Listen to me. I said we can’t do this implant.” I thought it was very unprofessional how she was talking to her nurse in front of a CUSTOMER. Also they FAILED to tell me I had to check out at the desk after they refused my implant. The front desk woman never stopped me or mentioned checking out. I had to go to work that night so I wasn’t able to go back to pay the 20$ they charged me to SMILE. Litterly. So they need are charging me 100$ for refusing my services..I work customer service so I understand people can be very nit picky on their services. But the way the doctor treated her nurses in front of a CUSTOMER had me angry for the nice lady.

Mary Ann Partridge: Emmanuel cleaned my teeth this year and did a fantastic job. I love going to True Dental. Thank you Dr Brown another five-star year!I really enjoy all of the staff at true dental. My husband and I have been going there for years. Yesterday Priscilla did my teeth cleaning and she did a very nice job and Dr Silver did my exam. He is very friendly outgoing and enjoyable dentist. He is also very knowledgeable and takes his time. You don't feel rushed.

He and all his staff are the best.

Pam Wilson: 2.5 years ago I started my corrective dental journey. Due to my own fear of dentists, I hadn't been in a few years. I came to Dr. Schaefer because I have 2 friends that work there. Dr. Schaefer has taken the time to make a plan, recommend braces, which just came off, and finish everything we have started. He made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire, sometimes long, process. His staff and himself are amazing to work with. Highly recommend this practice!

Melissa Hays: I have never had a simple 6 month cleaning take three people, two hours, and cause pain until I came here. Hands down the worst dental experience of my life.
Lyniece Brown: Went in for cleaning, found out I needed two root canals. Got those done temp crown continuous fall off on both tooths. Had to take on several times..then I got my permanent crowns a week later one had a hole on it had to go back, they put another temp on it that fallen off. Reached out to manager which was not helpful she said she would talk to dr about my crowns. Next time I got a call back was to let me know my crown had came in. Worst experience in a dental office. Now I have pain in my crown.
Sara I: Everyone here is super nice, I've never felt more welcomed at a dentist before. Everything about the place is comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, and even entertaining. Very easy experience.

Jennie Hammond: Let me start by saying I think Dr Anderson is a great dentist. However somehow I got switched to another dentist in the office. I had some work needing to be done. Im no pain with the tooth. Dr Perry went in to a tooth that I needed a crown on and said he'll know once he's in there if I needed a root canal or not . Said I didn't. Went home and was in pain and dealt with it for a good week. Went back and told him this is hurting. He then realized I DID need a root canal. At this point it was infected. Did partial root canal. Temp fall off the next day had to go back still hurt. He did another root canal. Didn't give any pain management for this. Then I call and they said I need to see a root specialist if it's still borrowerimg me because it's waking me in the middle of the night. At this point I now took off 4 half days for 1 tooth. Still in pain refused to give any pain meds. It's not been a good experience at all.
