Rainbow Savvy: Don't usually put in the effort to do negative reviews but this particular situation was pretty disappointing. We purchased a couch here in April 2022 with the warranty through Montage Furniture with it, which was offered to us when we mentioned we had cats. Sales associate said it would cover any and all pet damage up to 5 years. $149.99 extra for it. And for a $1300 couch that definitely seemed worth it. Some months later we ended up filing a claim with Montage which was denied and said they would not cover the damage, which is what we purchased the warranty for in the first place. I looked up Montage online and found an immense amount of bad reviews about them. But what made me feel we'd really been had was when I went on the Furniture deals website to find the couch we bought to make sure I was referencing it by name correctly, found it. The Benchmark. Then some weeks later it's name changed. Same couch, but now called something different, the Tracling. We should have done our research on all ends as now we are sat with a couch that wont be fixed under a warranty we paid for that should cover the damages and no refund for either. My advice to others to do your research first.

We went with the Breckenridge because we specifically like the solid, heavy feel and have NOT been disappointed.They were upfront about the time it would take to complete but the anticipation was worth it. It took a little less than six months to get the table but that was early! The team that delivered it was very professional, took their time, didn't bang into anything while moving it in and explained everything about the care of the table.Lastly, you get what you pay for and it's worth every penny.

Most furniture today is manufactured overseas and is finished with some type of paint that will eventually chip or peel. Unruh allows you to select the type of wood and uses a high-quality stain that is covered with an extremely durable water base topcoat that will last forever.The Unruh staff helps you through the selection process and keeps you updated on the construction of the furniture. I liked the no pressure process and payment only when the furniture is delivered.

Kimberly Griswold (Lady Red): Nothing in Stock. Rude, disrespectful staff. Before placing an order for a sectional and oversized ottoman. I contacted the store to see if the items are available for delivery Before Christmas. I was told the right arm would need to be ordered but a left arm was in Stock and could be delivered in 3 days. The ottoman needed to be ordered and that would be late December early January. I placed my order online on December 6th. Waiting for delivery today I received a call stating he had placed my order and it would be end of December early January. I informed him that is not what he and I spoke about as he was the person I spoke to. He rudely cut me off would not give me a reason why he before said he had the item once I said i could not wait until January. He lied to get my purchase. He hung up in my face and will not answer the phone. Now I have to dispute the charges and wait for a refund. Bad place to go. This was a Christmas and birthday gift for my loved one.

Marybeth Criddle: This place was very unorganized and the workers are very rude and sketchy. My husband and I went into the store to find a table for our new house. We found one that we were interested in, but there were no workers around to help us and then when someone did help us he didn't seem to know what he was doing. So, we decided to come back at a later time.When I called them the next day to see if they still had the table the guy that answered, Andrea, said that all the furniture upstairs was sold and that it had been sold for almost two weeks now. Which didn't make sense because when we were there the night before the place was packed and the table didn't say sold on it. So, we gave up and went somewhere else.About two weeks later we were interested in going back to see if they had anything that we could pay for upfront and then immediately take. The furniture was nice and cheap, so it seemed like a good deal if we could take it right away. When we came back in the table we had wanted was still there!! I don't know why the guy told me it was sold, but we paid for it right then and there and took it. It's a great table, but really not worth the hassle.If you do decide to buy something from there pay for it upfront and then immediately take it. The place is so disorganized that I really don't trust them to save the table for you, even if you paid for it.

All I need to tell him is what I am looking for, and he finds it. Approximately 40% of the furniture in my house has come from David these past 30 years. Also, there are erroneous reports in these reviews about Bob Bateman linking him to Bargain Barn. David is not involved in Bob's issue with the City of Gladstone. Just because the last name is Bateman does not make these two one in the same.This is not your everyday Furniture Store. Patience will go a long way in helping you find the look and quality you desire. Bought this Thomasville Corner Hutch a year ago from David, and it's absolutely stunning (it still is today - quite the conversation piece)! Written 12/11/2021

Perryn Thomas: First, they could NOT sell furniture that is infested with bed bugs. Second, in the event an infested item slips through the cracks, they could provide some semblance of customer service or human decency and accept their product back and provide a full refund. They have many Amish suppliers who specialize in various types of furniture. The animated lamb distracts from the quality of furniture offered here. Jordan in dining tables was very helpful to show available customization of Amish tables.

When purchasing our furniture at the furniture of mall in Kansas, we were told that our dining room set was solid wood. After using the sat for less than a month, there were scratches that were obvious on a normal surface that was very similar to fingernail polish. At one time I had called for the scratches on the chairs and no turn collars made. In the spring of 2023 I called in another, scratch as well as bubbling of the laminate on the top of the what was supposed to be solid wood table. It is now been two months from the furniture protection company that was sold to me for $599 from the Furniture Mall Kansas. I’ve been given the runaround whenever I called they say they can’t help me that they’re just answering the phones even though it’s during daytime hours. I’ve called three or four times most recently today where the person on the other line told me that they don’t have anyone that is even their supervisor. They simply didn’t answer the phone and get your name and number. For $600 the service is unacceptable. I would never buy furniture from this company again.

Kyla B, Blended Threads Co: BUYER BEWARE. My husband and I ordered furniture from here almost a year ago, and had a great experience with our sales rep. We paid nearly $6k for a gorgeous sectional and love seat. Knowing it was pricey, we also purchased the insurance to replace or return it should it be ruined by our pets. They also offer a 10-day money back guarantee. Well, once our furniture was delivered, it only took SIX days for the damage to occur because the quality of material is lacking. We immediately emailed the customer service address we were told to work through, and it has now been almost a YEAR with NO ONE helping us. We still have the ruined furniture, and cannot get ANYONE from their "customer service" department to speak to us or email us back with any pertinent details. They emailed once to ask for photos, once to approve our claim, and now will not proceed with replacing or refunding anything. We even tried calling the store, and were informed they could do nothing and we'd have to work with their customer service department....who doesn't respond to emails or answer any phone calls.

Susan Wiley: Terrible customer service for any repairs or information about an order. Once you are in the store, the salespeople on the floor are super nice because they want the sell. However, being put on hold and transferred several times to get an answer for arrival dates is another story. We purchased a sectional with the USB charging ports in each end. The 1st replacement we had to pay for because it was after the 1-yr warranty. However, when the same one quit working 4 months later, I wasn't willing to pay another $90 for yet another replacement. I was finally told that the manufacturer would replace it this 1-time. After a month of no part arrival, I called again to see where the part was only to be told that I would now have to pay for shipping and that they had no idea where or when it would be in. I have left 2 voicemails for customer service after hours and they were never returned. After receiving a text message today telling me to call about my order, I called in yet again, only to be told they didn't know when it would be here. The girl was not very helpful and seemed annoyed that I would be inquiring about it after the text. They sound super disorganized and they always have to put you on hold in order to retrieve any information for you at all.

I am giving 3 stars because of the “poor” communication between manager and employees. It took 6 trips to my home with DAMAGED furniture before they were ABLE to bring furniture that wasn’t damaged. I talked to Jason, the manager on numerous occasions. Advising how he would make things right after everything is settled. Well, when time came to settle he didn’t answer his phone nor text. Jason left it up to his assistant Colton.Colton, the assistant manager thought 11% compensation was something I should have been excited about. What about the inconvenience over 3 months of time.Never received the gift card!This is not how you treat your repeat customers!!!!!!

Suzanne La Pointe: I ordered a custom fabric couch from the Olathe store in January and was advised it would take 6-8 weeks for arrival due to supply chains, transport, etc. Since then, without my asking, I’ve been texted personal updates on my couch’s progress. Today I received another text from Jennifer profusely apologizing for a delay and giving me a new time frame. You’d think I’d be irritated but Jennifer’s heartfelt apology came thru loud and clear. It’s evident she understood I would be disappointed and did her best to make it better. She succeeded. When I return for my next piece of furniture, it will be because of Jennifer’s way of ensuring I know that customers are very much valued here.

Tamara Neff: We have used furniture mall for multiple purchases and have been pleased with the quality of furniture, thus I can give a couple stars. On the other hand we having been dealing with service issues for well over 6 months. Upon delivery of our sectional it was dropped and damaged. We received the new piece months later and it has non matching legs. For months I have been trying to get the legs that match and have them installed with little to no action. The lack of response or care once you have paid for the furniture is extremely frustrating.
