Eric Stechmann: Called to ask about repairing a set of headphones. Was immediately met with rude, condescending responses. He genuinely acted like he does not want my business. He probably doesn’t want your business either. Have an adventure and call them up and see what kind of rude comments you’ll get.

Jason Stephens: I bought a used Onkyo reciever that was rather glitchy and had HDMI issues. I dropped it off at Jim's around the first week of November. Mike at the counter told me that it would be about 3 weeks. Sure enough, he called and they had diagnosed the issue with my receiver, told me about how much it would cost to repair, and a time frame to order the replacement part. Around the 4th week of having it, Mike called and it was ready! I have had it back less than a week and I have watched at least a dozen movies through it along with countless hours of TV! Fantastic service, excellent communication, and an overall great experience! I will definitely use Jim's again!
Bradder Thatwelderguy: Although it's a little hard to find, because it's behind the building where Google maps brought me, I drove around the back out of a hunch and there it was. The 1000watt Pioneer stereo I thought I burned up, was actually just a safety overload and they got it figured out and fixed it. It had just gone past the 1 year warranty and it was an expensive receiver. So to find out it was something simple, took a load off my shoulders and it was at a fair price. I'll be sure to take my audio and video equipment to them from now on. Now I can blast my stereo in my shop again. Because when I'm in my shop building trucks and cars listening to my stereo, so are my neighbors.
Brandon Meyers: Just terrible. I called to ask about used equipment, was interrupted and hung up on. I've been pleased with the equipment I've had repaired here in the past, but I guess they've changed. Very sad they would let such an inconsiderate person answer the phone.
Chuck Zinner: I recently moved to Springfield and needed service on my Pioneer PL-55X turntable. They are a cash only business. No plastic or checks. To look at it and evaluate the problem was $115 up front. I believe that’s reasonable considering cost of time to stay in business. They also told me upfront it would be several weeks to get back with the diagnosis. After a month I get a call they could repair it but would cost $118 additional. The turntable is 46 years old and it plays like the day I bought it.I have other vintage stereo equipment I asked if they could service. They were straight forward that they would not work on them because parts are no longer available. If you’re looking for someone in Springfield who is knowledgeable and honest about electronics repair give them a try.

They wouldn’t even attempt to fix my record player and were very rude about that it wasn’t even worth his time. This was all before I even said anything about the actual record player. I showed it to him and he acted like I should just know it was something he couldn’t work on. He was not helpful on looking for an answer somewhere. Don’t even bother trying to take your broken items here.

When I moved to Springfield, MO in 2019, I was more than a little surprised to find not only a bricks and mortar camera store.I have worked closely with their staff this year, especially store manager Rick Orrell, on a number of purchases and they have always been patient and accommodating.Special orders? No problem, they will have it for you in days. Turns out not to be what you need? Again, no problem, let’s try again. Price match the “big boys”? Never hurts to ask (but don’t forget you’re paying for expert knowledge, building a relationship and supporting your local economy.)Want to hang out and talk photography? It’s an ongoing conversation with a staff that is talented and creative.The store has a local reputation for getting people started as hobbyists and watching them grow into serious amateurs and/or professionals. I recently mentioned Bedford’s to the national rep for one of the three big camera makers and he immediately began praising the store.I have no idea how many times I have recommended this store in the last three and a half years but it’s a lot and I hope to be able to continue to do so for many years. Ashley Marshall: Didn't honor an appointment made online and confirmed. Apparently the website allows you to book time slots that they won't work with so you'll book your slot and drive 2 hours only to be turned away. Also, don't bother calling to confirm on the morning of because it's probable they will confirm your appointment but you won't be serviced due to time (I scheduled 2 hours prior to their closing time). Staff was friendly but scheduling/inability to complete service as requested and confirmed was extremely frustrating.

Nicole Barnett: Called ahead to make sure they had the TV I wanted. Like ten minutes before I got there. They didn't have it. Had to wait like twenty minutes to even be acknowledged even though there were plenty of sales people. The dude at the register I was at didn't even acknowledge me. Finally someone asked if I needed help and told me they had a comparable tv in the back. He went to get it and I waited thirty minutes before leaving. I have an injury and am in a walking boot and I couldn't stand any longer physically and was no offered any place to sit. Went to Walmart and was in and out in thirty minutes. Best Buy your customer service sucks, and I am definitely not a Karen. I gave you an hour to get me a tv in a box. You probably could have sold me a more expensive product if you had been more attentive. Not shopping here again.

Bonesmacker: FANTASTIC customer service. I walked in and was greeted. They asked me what I was looking for and if I needed help. I told them I needed a wireless Xbox headset. He told me where they were located and that someone would be over to help me shortly (even though I didn't ask). By the time I got there, a nice young man asked me what I was looking for, I showed him the photo, and he led me straight to it. Not only that he confirmed it was the correct one and asked if he could help me find anything else! I expect this customer service for someone elderly, but I am only 38. It was truly a great experience, and he saved me some time searching for it.GREAT employees. It was a very refreshing experience.

Mr Ed: I went to Best Buy interested in buying an "opened box" MacBook Air. I was told that this item was not on display but it was locked in the Geek Squad room and I needed to have a seat and wait. I did that outside the the Geek's room for 50 minutes! I saw lost of employees coming in and out of that room. They were busy taking care of other customers. Too busy to just talk to me! I left the store, went home and order the MacBook Air on line from the Apple store. I will never go back to Best Buy!

Richard Orrell: I walked in with no appointment and was treated like royalty. My iPhone needed a new battery. Less than an hour later they were finished. I was impressed with the kindness of the staff, the quickness of their service and the reasonable price.
Jared Belt: I woke up this morning to something that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemies, a phone that would not turn on. Like anybody would, I panicked and went straight to my phone carrier. I was informed that my phone battery may have died and that I should stop by Batteries Plus to have them check the battery. As soon as I arrived, Tim was very quick to ask what I needed and when I explained the situation, he did not hesitate to start to fix my problem. He was very helpful and informative of what the problem was with my phone, and helped get it back running better than it was brand new! The best part? I know have a better functioning phone and it only took him 10 minutes! Tim has excellent service abilities and I will definitely be returning for any other issues that I may run into!

Carl Phillips: Do not take your cell phone to this location if you want it done on time and correctly the first time. Also, they damaged another component of my phone and then replaced that component with an aftermarket part. Then I found out later that my speaker wasn't working either, which I took to get fixed somewhere else because I no longer trust them with my phone. Bottom line, they advertise and price services at a premium then do not deliver on that promise. When asked for a concession on my wasted time for an additional trip back to the store (because my phone was not repaired correctly the first time) they weren't willing to do anything.
Megan Mynatt: My phone screen was fixed in the amount of time they said it would be. All the people were really nice inside the store. Yet, when I got my phone back my speaker on the screen was no longer working. I didn't have time that day to come back and get it fixed, but I came back the next day I came back. They were very helpful and fixed my speaker!
