Eric Stechmann: Called to ask about repairing a set of headphones. Was immediately met with rude, condescending responses. He genuinely acted like he does not want my business. He probably doesn’t want your business either. Have an adventure and call them up and see what kind of rude comments you’ll get.

Jason Stephens: I bought a used Onkyo reciever that was rather glitchy and had HDMI issues. I dropped it off at Jim's around the first week of November. Mike at the counter told me that it would be about 3 weeks. Sure enough, he called and they had diagnosed the issue with my receiver, told me about how much it would cost to repair, and a time frame to order the replacement part. Around the 4th week of having it, Mike called and it was ready! I have had it back less than a week and I have watched at least a dozen movies through it along with countless hours of TV! Fantastic service, excellent communication, and an overall great experience! I will definitely use Jim's again!
Bradder Thatwelderguy: Although it's a little hard to find, because it's behind the building where Google maps brought me, I drove around the back out of a hunch and there it was. The 1000watt Pioneer stereo I thought I burned up, was actually just a safety overload and they got it figured out and fixed it. It had just gone past the 1 year warranty and it was an expensive receiver. So to find out it was something simple, took a load off my shoulders and it was at a fair price. I'll be sure to take my audio and video equipment to them from now on. Now I can blast my stereo in my shop again. Because when I'm in my shop building trucks and cars listening to my stereo, so are my neighbors.

Chuck Zinner: I recently moved to Springfield and needed service on my Pioneer PL-55X turntable. They are a cash only business. No plastic or checks. To look at it and evaluate the problem was $115 up front. I believe that’s reasonable considering cost of time to stay in business. They also told me upfront it would be several weeks to get back with the diagnosis. After a month I get a call they could repair it but would cost $118 additional. The turntable is 46 years old and it plays like the day I bought it.I have other vintage stereo equipment I asked if they could service. They were straight forward that they would not work on them because parts are no longer available. If you’re looking for someone in Springfield who is knowledgeable and honest about electronics repair give them a try.

They wouldn’t even attempt to fix my record player and were very rude about that it wasn’t even worth his time. This was all before I even said anything about the actual record player. I showed it to him and he acted like I should just know it was something he couldn’t work on. He was not helpful on looking for an answer somewhere. Don’t even bother trying to take your broken items here.

Therese Jovich: They were awesome. Cracked my Google Pixel 7a and they took the phone and 2 hours later it was waiting for me. They also have screen protectors for your device. They Android, Galaxy, Samsung and iPhones along with computers, laptops, tablets and games consoles. Just about any kind of electronic devices.The staff were fabulous, courteous and explained everything they did and why.
B.D FPV: After trying to call the store 10 to 15 times during the week and getting no answer at all. I made an online appointment because I had an open support case with Google for my phone that is under warranty. I get there for my appointment and I was turned away and they would not even look at the case number. There was specific notes in the case about my problem and that the case was turned in before the screen crack and the screen crack was noted in the support case # they wouldn't look at. Extremely upsetting. Just seems like they didn't want to help. Told me just to claim the insurance and get a new phone

John Stanton: Essentially, repairs are done by appointment. Got there a few minutes early, no problem. Estimated 2 hour repair time (screen was totally trashed and the phone was non- functional). Came back in an hour and a half, phone was ready, fully repaired and tested. What more can you ask?

They have had my phone for a month now and still no update on being fixed. 1 week I'm told they ordered my part to fix phone, so I wait and give them time. Come back 6 days later to be told they order my part a day before I came in. I'm blown away at the rating of this place when it's been almost a month and my phone still isn't fixed, part hasn't even came in. Should of sent my phone to Google in the first place. Will never do business here again!
Tesla Rayfield: I took my sons phone in there today bc he had dropped it and shattered screen a few months ago. It still worked but lines were starting to get worse. They were able to fix it right away finished it within the 2hrs they had promised and now my sons phone looks brand new cant even tell it was ever shattered! Also they had the best prices in town. I had been to over 4 places and they all quoted me over $110. We will be using them for all electronic repairs that we may need in the future 😀 also the staff was absolutely amazing and super kind to myself and my 2 boys! HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone needing anything electronic fixed. Thank you to everyone who works there keep up the great work and customer service 😊
Tina: Crazy. I made an appointment this morning, to bring my phone in between 4-5. Set my evening aside for this, only to be told "we prioritize insurance claims." Well, this is an insurance claim. But he said to return tomorrow... So what the hell was the point of scheduling an appointment? He said "it just tells us someone's coming in." Haw?!? Even though you accept walk-ins, you still need to know if someone's coming in??Update:I learned that guy's name is Adrian & he's a salesman from Arkansas & that he will turn away insurance claimants because it doesn't generate commission for him.I also had a much better experience with the staff the next day & even though I had to take unplanned time off work to get my phone fixed, on account of Adrian, it was done quickly & professionally! I was so relieved to finally get my phone fixed. 🤳

Cole Rains: First off, dont make an appointment online because they stick to those 0% of the time! Secondly, dont step to the side of the room to wait your turn because they will let anyone and everyone else that walks in the door cut in line in front of you! I thought it was first come first serve but that wasnt the case at all! Thirdly, super expensive! We needed my sons 2 xbox's fixed, hdmi plug on one and overheating possible new fan on the other. It was gonna cost more to have them fix 1 of them, either one, than to go to gamestop and just get a refurbished one plus gamestop will trade them in for credit so the refurbished ones are even cheaper! Bad business and terrible business plan! I run a barbershop and will make sure that everyone knows how bad this place is!

Ellis Raymond: I was trying to have the screen replaced on a Moto g power (2021) with insurance thru Google, the first gentleman I talked to was really polite and said it would take around 5 - 7 days to get the parts in, after 10 days I texted & called without a reply so I went to the store around 12:30 in the afternoon...the woman I spoke to was really nice, printed out my receipt & took my phone telling me they shut down from 2 - 3 for lunch so it'd be after 3 before it would be fixed & asked me for an alternate number to call if they got it done before 3pm which I gave her, around 3:30pm nobody had called me so again went to the store where the man after looking around and checking his computer several times informed me they couldn't fix it & acted like it was common knowledge the Motorola phones had to be shipped back to the manufacturer, in summary...if you wanna give em a try...maybe you'll have better luck...the people I spoke with were very pleasant..or at least tolerable which is the only reason I didn't go with a 1⭐...personally I'm never going to do business with them again unless I utterly have to...& I definitely will not recommend this place to anyone...

Alexander Greene: Sleazy and unethical company.I originally went to a different phone repair company in town and explained my situation to them. My Samsung Galaxy S8 is not working after doing several of my own diagnostics (screen/digitizer replacement, battery replacement, and charing port replacement). I told them what I did and suspected that there was a logic board issue. The employees at the first company were transparent and said there was little they could do and recommended a local PC repair company that did work for one of them recently.I contacted that PC repair company and told them my situation and they assured me that Cell Phone Repair would be able to help with my situation.So, I go in to CPR and, again, in clear detail explain my situation. My phone is not displaying and/or not turning on and here is what I have tried already:-replacing the screen/digitizer-replacing the charging port-replacing the batteryand it is still not working and that I suspect it is an issue with the logic board.My main goal is to get it working long enough to pull off some media files I have on it that I did not get around to backing up in time.The sales rep listens to my situation and says that they can take a look at it for a $40 without any guarantees. I say that is fine as long as they try.A few days later I get a call saying that they could not get it to turn on. Fair enough; I new it was a long shot, but maybe their diagnostic tests could shed some more light on the situation for me. A few weeks later when I am in Springfield again, I stop by to pick up the phone and ask what they tried. The employee looks at the notes about my phone and says they tried:-replacing the screen/digitizer-replacing the charing port-replacing the batteryand were unable to get the phone to turn on. He said it's probably an issue with the logic board.In other words: the initial sales rep stood there and listened to the rundown of what I already tested and suspected was wrong with the phone, and then took my money knowing that they were just going to do the same exact tests I had already done and come to the same conclusion that I had already arrived at. An ethical sales rep would have told me beforehand that they weren't going to try anything new and that I should probably just go to a place with more sophisticated techniques.I guess a quick $40 at the cost of repeat business is an effective enough business model these days.
David Kompass: Went to get my front screen replaced from a small chip. They fixed the screen within 4 hours but in the process they chipped the back of the phone which also left a large crack running up to the camera. I immediately told them that the phone didn't have this issue when I dropped it off and they refused that they did that. You can tell in the picture where they tried to separate the phone and accidentally damaged the back.If they would admit they caused the damage and wanted to fix the issue at no charge, this wouldn't have been an issue.

Thomas Cook: If this is Wireless Trendz then I would like to tell everyone about your unprofessionalism. I took my phone in to replace a bad battery. $90 for that. Ok. Take it home and am unable to charge my phone because they damaged the prongs where you plug in the charger. Take it back because it's their fault and am told it will cost me $80 to replace prongs. Forget it...I'm not going to pay for their damages. Go to pick up my phone and am charged $35.04 for them to look at the damage that they did. I would advise anyone who is interested in taking your phone, laptop, tablet, notebook, etc. to Wireless Trendz to reconsider. Just passing along good advice.

He was not able to help with our issues only because he was not a Manufacturer warranty rep for my husband's phone that was still under the Manufacturer warranty. He was able to do extended warranty work so in the future we will probably use them.
Karla Gregg: Replaced my MacBook Pro battery. Made an appointment as required, they called back needing to push the appointment out to the next day - no problem. When I dropped it off, the digital ticket machine first showed $129.99, which was the amount I was verbally quoted when they ordered the battery. I was told that included all parts and labor. But the amount then changed to $149.99 once he printed the ticket as we left the store. They completed the work within an hour of dropping it off and emailed me that it was ready to pick up. Pleased with the speed and quality of the service. Just not with the changed in the fee charged.
