Jason Stephens: I bought a used Onkyo reciever that was rather glitchy and had HDMI issues. I dropped it off at Jim's around the first week of November. Mike at the counter told me that it would be about 3 weeks. Sure enough, he called and they had diagnosed the issue with my receiver, told me about how much it would cost to repair, and a time frame to order the replacement part. Around the 4th week of having it, Mike called and it was ready! I have had it back less than a week and I have watched at least a dozen movies through it along with countless hours of TV! Fantastic service, excellent communication, and an overall great experience! I will definitely use Jim's again!

Bradder Thatwelderguy: Although it's a little hard to find, because it's behind the building where Google maps brought me, I drove around the back out of a hunch and there it was. The 1000watt Pioneer stereo I thought I burned up, was actually just a safety overload and they got it figured out and fixed it. It had just gone past the 1 year warranty and it was an expensive receiver. So to find out it was something simple, took a load off my shoulders and it was at a fair price. I'll be sure to take my audio and video equipment to them from now on. Now I can blast my stereo in my shop again. Because when I'm in my shop building trucks and cars listening to my stereo, so are my neighbors.

Brandon Meyers: Just terrible. I called to ask about used equipment, was interrupted and hung up on. I've been pleased with the equipment I've had repaired here in the past, but I guess they've changed. Very sad they would let such an inconsiderate person answer the phone.

Chuck Zinner: I recently moved to Springfield and needed service on my Pioneer PL-55X turntable. They are a cash only business. No plastic or checks. To look at it and evaluate the problem was $115 up front. I believe that’s reasonable considering cost of time to stay in business. They also told me upfront it would be several weeks to get back with the diagnosis. After a month I get a call they could repair it but would cost $118 additional. The turntable is 46 years old and it plays like the day I bought it.I have other vintage stereo equipment I asked if they could service. They were straight forward that they would not work on them because parts are no longer available. If you’re looking for someone in Springfield who is knowledgeable and honest about electronics repair give them a try.

Brandon Graff: Very rude. Signs posted all over in the shop validating their attitude about their service. They wouldn’t even attempt to fix my record player and were very rude about that it wasn’t even worth his time. This was all before I even said anything about the actual record player. I showed it to him and he acted like I should just know it was something he couldn’t work on. He was not helpful on looking for an answer somewhere. Don’t even bother trying to take your broken items here.

Social media has been used in order to make audiophile look bad.when it comes to reviews you can not trust all of them.some are due to ignorance of car audio, and misleading info that has been passed along over the duration of years. Audiophile is the place to go for the best deals and selections. Or you can pay more for less any where else.

J.D. Arthur: This place is an amazing place for all your car audio needs. The owner if very nice and very informative. The man does know his stuff for the most part. I have bought from him on several occasions now and every one had been a very pleasant experience. Only draw back I have ran into is that he says if you can find and authorized dealer cheaper than him he will beat their price. Only one time he has not honored that guarantee for me. All the other deals Jeff has made with me makes up for it. The guys he has worming for him will have to call and get the OK from the boss before they make most their deals with you. All in all this is one of the best places to buy car audio if not the best. Friendly staff and very fair 99.9 percent of the time.

Scott Holman: They sold me a double din stereo that was supposed to be new. Got it out of the box and the screen was nasty and wasn't in any plastic. Hooked it up and would stop working after 20 minutes. They wouldn't give my money back or trade it for another. Will not be going there again.

Phil Zulli: I want to share my recent experience with Springfield Speaker. It was really good. 👍I have an old Cadillac DeVille and the foam surround of the subwoofer in the rear deck crumbled. I purchased a refoam kit from large and well-known company in California but the refoam kit they sent that was claimed to be a perfect fit was not. I contacted that California seller and they refunded my money right away but didn't want to take time to find a replacement from their inventory using photos and measurements I sent. It turns out that the subwoofer in that car is an oddball Delco speaker that cannot be replaced and no one I spoke to knew of a refoam kit that would work.I contacted Springfield Speaker and spoke with Paul. He took time, past his closing time, to understand my situation. He knew his stuff; asked me for some measurements and immediately knew that a JBL refoam kit for a Lexus would fit perfectly. I had my doubts but I was impressed with Paul, clearly an expert on his business and more importantly he was sincerely interested in helping me solve my unique problem with a level of customer service that is rare today.I placed the order, the price was great, it came quickly, and it fit perfectly, making what I thought would be a difficult repair into a very easy job. It's back in the DeVille and sounds great!My thanks to Paul and his staff. I will be recommending Springfield Speaker.
