Sam Rudder: Got there the night before. Enough room for maybe 2 trucks to park out of the way. Had an 8am appointment,checked in at 7:55. And I rolled out empty before 9am. They said 1 bag of dog food had opened but there was nothing in my trailer when I pulled away. Trailer was clean. The employees I dealt with were very good.

Adam Medlin: They are so friendly in this pharmacy. Other retail pharmacies I don’t think were processing our medications through our insurance because they charged us big bucks for our medications. Ever since switching to Grove they charge us $0 saying our deductibles were met a long time ago.
Bob Jordan: Attempted to have my prescriptions transferred to a pharmacy in FL after relocating. Staff said they would fax the info to the receiving pharmacy on 1/27/23. On 2/16/23 I called the FL pharmacy to be sure all was completed. The receiving pharmacy had zero information regarding my Rx. I called Grove and spoke with the tech who was supposed to have sent the info. “Oh, I got behind but I saw you on my list every day.” I pointed out that nearly three weeks had passed since she had said she was sending the info. I was trying to avoid an interruption with my meds.I asked about a patient assistance program for one of the meds since my insurance claims showed a copay of over $900/month. She tried to “educate” me about insurance claims (I’ve worked with health insurance for over 30 years and have a very high level of understanding). She continued to talk over me and repeating inaccurate info. I terminated the call.Called back to speak with the pharmacy manager. Mr Nunez asked what the issue was - I pointed out the three week gap between my last contact with the staff regarding the transfer of my Rx and that she was argumentative during our interaction. Mr Nunez introduced himself as the pharmacy manager and owner. Mr Nunez replied, “Oh, I know all about YOU already. We mailed your prescriptions as a courtesy. She told me you hung up on her.” I agreed that I had terminated the call. Mr Nunez started again with “We mailed your medications twice..” when I attempted to offer a comment Mr Nunez’s volume increased and his tone became angry. He told me “you can talk when I’m finished and not before”. I terminated the call.Truly sad after years of great service from the staff at 1626 S Glenstone to end the relationship with this pharmacy. Never again will I use them for any service.
Ashley Meyer: I can’t say enough about how awesome the staff at Grove Pharmacy are. They go above and beyond for their customers. They are always willing to help try and resolve issues that may arise with prescriptions without me even having to ask. I would highly recommend!

Michael Criger: I had a pretty simple plan: drop off my prescriptions, run some errands, pick up my prescriptions. The lady at the drive-thru had different plans - she told me to pull up by the front door and she would come out in a minute with the prices for the medicines. I said ok and did as I was told. After waiting about 15 mins, I started texting my gf out of boredom. Told her I had been waiting a long time just for someone to give me a price. As we were texting, she informed me the pharmacy had just called her with a question about one of the prescriptions i had dropped off for her. I wondered to her why they hadn't just asked me as they'd had me waiting out there a half hour by that time. She called them back and asked them if they knew I was there. From what I have been able to gather, the lady that told me to pull up and wait had gone to lunch! By the time they figured out I was still there and got me my medicines, I had wasted 45 mins that could have been spent running my errands as I had intended. I will never use this pharmacy again, and recommend the other compounding pharmacy in town to anyone who needs those services. You can't get much worse customer service than they have at Grove.
Carrie Bridges: They go above and beyond!! My daughter had oral surgery and they did not have all the meds available I am not even from Springfield and they took it upon themselves to call multiple pharmacies until they found one that had each script. I offered to do it myself due to they were so busy and they were like “no we are happy to do it for you”!! You just don’t find customer service like that anymore! May they be beyond blessed for showing such kindness to people they don’t even know. That says a lot about a persons character!! Thank you!!

Thanks to him, we were able to enjoy another year with our fur baby.When we had to end up putting our fur baby to sleep, we met with Dr. O'Keefe. She made one of the hardest days for us just a little bit better. She was so caring and comforting.I can not say enough about how wonderful the clinic is.

Jodi Garvin: This has been our vet since we moved to Springfield 3 years ago and I have been very pleased until this visit. The care was great and I’m thankful they were able to get us in right away. But I did feel that they were trying to get extra money from me with requesting tests before the vet came in the room to examine my dog. It was decided those tests weren’t necessary after the vet examined my dog so I’m glad I didn’t let them do what they asked to do when I first walked in the room.

It was a bit of an emergency as my cat had stopped eating and was looking really sick, but my normal vet was booked until mid next week. They told me to call around and I called Bradford Park Vet Hospital and they were so kind and understanding! They got us in right away and even coordinated with my normal veterinarian. While we love our current vet, Dr. Chilla was phenomenal and we will be recommending her to literally everyone we meet! Thank you guys!

Cheryll Arnold: We are transporters and acquired a Norwegian Elkhound puppy recently and she was due for her 12 week vaccinations. Since we were just traveling through, I called and they were so nice as to fit us in! We were highly impressed with the facilities and the staff there. They were so nice and our puppy was well taken care of and fawned over! We were extremely pleased and happy with the service and will return to Branford Animal Hospital if in the area again!

Jen Lyn Dunlap: Our family has been using Healing Paws for about 5 years. I have had many good experiences with the Doctors and staff over this time. Every time I walk into this clinic the staff is always welcoming and caring.Over this last month we have become a familiar face to all the staff at Healing Paws. I have had Guinea Pigs for about a year now. I have never knew how much I would enjoy them. I thought I got them for my kids, but they soon were just my little babies. One became sick with some bowel issues. I took him in and Dr Wantuck examined him to find a mass and some other issues. We scheduled surgery to perform three different things. The surgery went well and he came out eating and drinking. The office was so kind and kept me super informed throughout the day while he was there at the office. Unfortunately, about a week later he got a super bad infection and became severely sick. This was due to my failure to check his wound and keep it clean. Dr Wantuck recommended a second surgery to remove the infection. The decision to put him through another surgery was super hard for me. Dr Wantuck and the staff were so supportive in whatever I decided. Very informative about everything during the whole process. We decided to move forward with the surgery. I am extremely proud to say our piggie (Skunk) is well and doing amazing. He is such a sweet snuggly piggie and we are so happy to have him still. Dr Wantuck made excellent medical decisions and saved Skunk’s life. I highly recommend Dr Wantuck and all the Healing Paws staff.

Erika: My senior cat was attacked by stray dogs and they broke her back. The emergency vet clinic was closed and I ended up calling seven vets for help… the only clinic who would see her was Healing Paws. They didn’t even ask if she was a patient. Just told me to head their way.The techs met me in the parking lot and took her in. Unfortunately, her injuries were too great (which I assumed) and the vet immediately suggested euthanasia. I spent a short time with her then I said goodbye to my sweet girl for the last time.I was beyond distraught after seeing the attack, driving around while calling clinics with my cat barely conscious and in severe pain in my lap for nearly an hour, then having to put her down in the end. Despite the traumatic experience, Healing Paws was sincere, sensitive, and willing to help without even thinking twice.I was offered cremation services which I accepted. I received a beautiful box, an ornament with her paw print and name stamped into it, a little glass vial of her fur, and a sympathy card completely full of kind words from the staff.Here’s the best part; my cat was a former patient of Healing Paws. We had moved out of state several years ago so they had not seen her for some time. But that didn’t matter to this clinic. They still accepted our plea for help before they even knew they had seen her in the past.I will forever be grateful for Healing Paws. Though they couldn’t actually heal my cat, they have already started to heal my heart.Thank you ♥️

Saved stella’s life as she was really sick. i picked her up and she looked like a whole other cat. she’s never scared to go to healings paws. i can trust them. my recent cat tyson got sick and he was diagnosed with kidney failure. My dog had a couple really bad seizures at one point and they were so thorough in caring for him and making sure that I understood what was going on, the possible cause and the treatment. I have another dog who is very shy and they let us come in for a visit where we just focused on letting her warm up, get comfortable and build her confidence at the vet. Dr. Ned & Dr. Denise are both so kind and knowledgeable. Amanda is one of our favorites and loves on our babies so well, as do all the staff! I absolutely recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Whether it be a routine visit for my Great Dane that is too scared to get on the scale, that the nurse who is almost the same size as him has to help me lift him onto it. Or something like tonight where Dr. Roche spent an hour with my dachshund and I due to a back injury answering all of my questions feeding her plenty of treats along the way. I am pretty sure Dr. Roche was late to her own dinner table taking care of our needs. Thank you for everything you do and the kindness you show. It definitely does not go unnoticed.

I take both my dog and cats here and have had nothing but wonderful experiences. I recently had a dental for my senior cat, which I was really nervous about, but I’m so glad I did. She is like a whole new cat, so much happier and comfortable! It seriously feels like a miracle given how much of an improvement it has been for her. Kayla Rykbos: DO NOT GO THERE!!!!I dont even want to give one star! My mother took our dog here to get an ultrasound for possible cancer. After having the ultrasound she was told that she had most likely an aggressive form of cancer on her spleen. She took her and scheduled her for surgery right away to come to find out it wasn't even cancer and her spleen was fine. Our dog ended up passing way from the surgery!!! They robbed us of our dog.

I brought him in on his death bed knowing I would be saying goodbye. He kept him overnight, gave him fluids and kept him comfortable. Called me early the next morning with the diagnosis and treatment plan and let me bring my baby home. Super impressed by the quick diagnosis, minimal tests and affordable care.
Lucy Wind: I saw mixed reviews, some saying Doctor Wilson is great, others saying that this vet was terrible… I wasn’t sure which ones were accurate, so I took a gamble. The vet was located close to where I live so I figured it was worth a shot. I kind of wish I had paid closer attention to the reviews.I have been there two or three times now, and I can’t say it was the best care my puppy has ever received. I brought her in, thinking she had a UTI, and all he did was press on her tummy and tell me she was fine.Another time, she was acting weird and wouldn’t eat kibble and kept throwing up spontaneously. So I brought her in. Once again, all he did was press her tummy and tell me it was probably a stomach bug. He also made a not so nice comment. (I was running late, so I called them to let them know so that they could take any patients that might be after me, as I didn’t want to cause a delay)… when I got there he said “typical woman, making me wait”. He acted like he was joking, but I didn’t appreciate it.All in all, I feel like every time I have brought my dog there, he has not done any kind of actual examining or tests, and then just pulled a diagnosis out of the air. And then he was not super nice.I will say, the receptionist was always very sweet and she loved my dog. But I can’t recommend this vet based solely on the receptionist.

Jessica Snyder: We have been using Doc Wilson for close to 20 years and I will not go anywhere else. He has been amazing with every pet we've ever brought through the door. And he and his staff have lovingly helped us with several of our furbabies passing over the rainbow bridge. He had the best connection with my very not people friendly kitty Indy.. indy just didn't like people. But he loved Doc. I've read some of these bad reviews and I just don't understand it. I have never had a bad experience. And Melissa is just amazing! She's my go to if Doc is busy and can't get us in immediately! My entire family uses this vet!
Rebecca Callaway: The vet got my cat in the same day I called after taking him to the emergency vet. The emergency clinic vet misdiagnosed my cat, put him on the wrong medications and traumatized us both by putting him in a muzzle and strait jacket. My cat declined all week until Dr. Wilson saw him and properly diagnosed him and put him on correct medication. My cat would have lost his back legs and died if not for Dr. Wilson. He also did a free follow up appointment and my cat is on the mend.

Rebecca Webb: Must watch carefully because I was charged $20 for a nail trim I didn't ask for! My dog had a grooming appointment the very next day and the nail trim is part of the $45/grooming fee. Also, my sister's dog had 20+ warts removed last week and wasn't sent home with an antibiotic. The bill was $1200 and then they were charged ANOTHER $130 when the little scabs became infected. I love this clinic and have gone here for eight years or more. Just saying I do not agree with some of the charges....especially since the dollar is being stretched lately.
Michelle Baunach: We unfortunately had to make an emergency visit today after an accident with a kitten. I am so grateful that they were able to work us in on such short notice. I had my kids with me since it was a time sensitive matter. They were sweet and accommodating to us, while handling the situation in a way not to distress them further.

Bailey Sands: I've had great experiences here with my two cats! Super quick visits and the vet went over everything with me, even helping me form a game plan for one kitties aggression. They answered every question I had and I have never had a bad experience in the 2 years we have been seeing them. Definitely feel safe leaving my pets with then and will continue using them for my pets vet needs!
Tamara Tomboc: Way overpriced, was charged an urgent visit fee that I was never told about, gave my cat a rabies shot without me giving consent for that particular shot and was given a hard sell by the tech when I brought in my cat and when I picked her up, felt like I was a car dealership with that hard of a sell. I will be taking my fur babies elsewhere from now on.
David Wilson: They have helped so much with our kitty. She had cancer surgery at MU and needed a check up. Others tried to make us go back to Columbia but they took great care of our baby. Great staff had all our vet info sent over for the other fur babies.

Eric J Waltz: Yesterday was a tough day. I am not a regular patient of this place, but I had to bring my German Shepherd here yesterday due to some emergency circumstances. These folks are so caring, empathetic and had so much compassion during a difficult time. I was all alone, but the staff here stayed with me and my boy until the end. Natalie Roadster: Had just moved here from Arizona. Maybe 3 weeks in Town. My 50lb Female Goldendoodle decided to get into trash for some Chinese Genral Taos Chicken leftovers. Bad bad deal. Immediately became ill and upchucked. Next 2 days slowly declined.Asked a friend where to go. Hometown she says. They are WONDERFUL. Read the reviews. Called that afternoon. Got in at 9 am. By now my girl is definitely not doing well. The minute I walked thru those door? Front desk gals welcomed me and Shiloh and knew of what was going on. Immediately put us in a room. Intake by Dr Seals assistant was detailed, very professional, kind and informative. Dr Seal? A Guardian Angel. She spent time with me explaining what they were going to do to diagnose and what tests they would do first. I really appreciated this and how it wasn't some aggressive bunch of tests, labs, etc as all the Vets back in Arizona. An hour or so later, I walked out 3 Rx, Food and detailed directions. They called next day to check on us. I'm telling ya...Hometown IS 5 star...10 if I could do that. So grateful for Hometown.
Sam Spirn: Simply the best vet I have ever been too. I came here extremely frantic with my pup that had an obstruction in his stomach and after the emergency vet closed we needed to find a place to transport him too. Hometown vet accepted him with arms wide open and he has had nothing but the best treatment here since. All the doctors and staff are so knowledgeable and on the top of their game. They even text you so with updates as the day goes along. If you are looking for a place where you know your pup is in good hands come here.

Darian Erwin: Had to change vets after moving and our cat seemed to have something up with her ears and a few other things going on. Called here and the staff was so sweet and Dr. Julie took care to test and research for everything that could be wrong, being thorough so as not to treat the wrong illness and make the exsiting situation worse. She cared about our Jazzy and didn't just assume. It was comforting to know there was proper care taken all the while explaining everything to us. Would recommend!
Stacey Adamiak: We travel full time and pass through Springfield a few times a year. The professionalism and care exhibited by Dr. Seal and the staff is exceptional! Feeling so lucky that we have access Hometown Vet for our pets.
Kris Daniels: Got my Shar Pei in and they are a difficult breed. He has an ear infection and horrible experiences with past vets in town. They did a great job comforting my baby. Haven’t been able to get in his ear yet but prescribed him some calming medicine for our next visit so guess we will see. I really appreciate them being so patient with us and look forward to making them our permanent vet for him and our other 2 dogs!
Aaron Pfeiffer: My first in person here was a horrible day for our family. We had to put our beloved family dog down due to cancer and heart failure. It was a hard day for us since he was the same age as our daughter and was our first family pet. Hometown veterinary hospital went above and beyond to help us through it. We had our two young boys with us and they obviously didn't know what was going on but we felt like we needed to say goodbye and weren't sure how we were going to be able to with two young boys in tow. Hometown volunteered to help watch our boys for us so my wife daughter and I could have our time. When it was time to let him go they helped us comfort him and he was able to pass quietly and very gently. We decided to have him cremated and his ashes were returned to us in a very nice solid wood box with his name engraved in it. We had felt bad because we had forgotten to ask for a footprint before we left and they had provided one to us without us ever asking. Later in the mail we received a heartfelt personal card from Hometown expressing their sympathy. We couldn't have asked for a better experience on a hard day like that. They treated us like we were friends or family and that's all you can hope for from someone who is taking care of your family member.

Lynda Reed: Being new to the state/town it's very scary trying to find the right Vet for our fur babies! But we found an amazing place with Hometown! Have taken 2 of our 4 babies here, and everytime it's been amazing! The front end staff is sweet and willing to answer questions. Your in a room right away. The techs and Dr's are very quick to come in and talk with you about your baby and their issue. They are all very kind and loving with the animals! Even when I call to make an appointment or have questions they are all right on the ball! They are a bit high pricing wise - but to me it's worth it to find a caring vet.
