MinuteClinic: what do users think?
Sheila Prost: I was pretty desperate so I went here despite seeing the other reviews. Happy to say I had a WONDERFUL experience. I had been sick for a few days and needed some help with meds and a diagnosis. Anne Shagavah NP was who saw me and she was absolutely fantastic, thorough, and had a lot of empathy as well. I don't know if I've even received this level of care from Urgent Care before. She reviewed each cost with me before doing the tests and gave me clear instructions on the prescriptions. She even called me the next day to check in! Cannot recommend this service enough and this place will be my first choice for care that I can't wait for. Thank you again Anne!
Sarah Brayfield: SO behind schedule. But very nice staffAppt for 5:40pm, didn’t get seen til after 6:10pm.Second time in, appt for 5:30pm, waiting yet again.
Azorikk: I went in for a $99-$160 ear cleaning to have impacted earwax removed as I was unable to hear out of my ear. The practitioner sprayed my ear with a water bottle twice, then prescribed me $300 ear drops and looked noticeably upset when I requested it be sent to Walgreens. All my questions and concerns felt undermined and my problem was never resolved. Still nearly deaf in my ear and was charged $140.
Justin Uhler: Terrible experience. THE PHARMACY CALLED AND CANCELED MY COVID TEST WITH NO RESCHEDULE. I had a covid-19 test scheduled for Friday Dec. 18. A person working at the pharmacy called 7:03 pm the night before and canceled my appointment without leaving their name or any option to reschedule. I was instead directed to the back of the line to reset an appointment through their online system after all the appointments for the area were booked. I called the store and they cannot transfer me to the minute clinic. This is the opposite of service.CVS=PROFIT over PEOPLE
MacKenzie Watson: Connie helped me last time and she was amazing. I’ve only had one rude nurse there but that doesn’t deserve any less than 5 stars. I made the appt online and got in within 7 minutes of my appt ☺️
Abby Kucera: Great experience, I’m so grateful for this service! Quick visit with an awesome NP, in and out with my prescription in under half an hour.
Diana Stoffregen: Love this place and the staff is ABSOLUTELY awesome and very knowledgeable at helping you with whatever sickness you may have.
Montana Mooney: Dr. Deeter was amazing and made my Minute Clinic visit extremely comfortable and productive! I am traveling for work, and this was the only place open on Labor Day. I’ve been dealing with a sinus infection, and she quickly diagnosed me, and on top of getting my medication to treat my sinus infection she cleaned out my ears (I have to have this done often) and got me a flu shot (I hate shots, but she made the experience totally comfortable!) She was patient and kind, and I am grateful for yesterday’s experience!
Krysta Baird: I would strongly recommend NOT using this service! We've had multiple unsatisfactory experiences with the Minute Clinic. The nurse practitioners are either inexperienced or borderline rude and unsympathetic. When we called because an antibiotic didn't seem to be working and our daughter was still having quite a bit of ear pain, we sat on hold for 10 minutes, were told we would get a call back within 24 hours. What?! When they called back they left a message that we should take her back into the Minute Clinic or take her to her primary care physician. Her primary care doctor visit would cost additional so, we took her back to the Minute Clinic where they informed us we would need to pay for another office visit in order for them to revise the medication to something stronger. The initial "new patient" cost was $129. There was no option to talk to the nurse who treated her initially because they rotate. This is not the sort of customer experience I would expect. Seems they are mostly in the business of making money, not caring for or treating patients.
Agnes Sawyer: My husband visited CVS Minute Clinic on 3.22.18 with an obvious sinus / respiratory infection. His regular doctor wasn't able to see him until tomorrow at 1p.m. so he opted for the Minute clinic. He presented coughing heavy bloody green mucus. He was very disappointed when the NP told him he didn't have an infection and wouldn't be able to prescribe antibiotics. He will see his regular doctor tomorrow. Very disappointed with this as I know how sick he is.
DL Pinegar: Trying to find a walkin clinic in Springfield is a daunting experience especially on a Sunday. I am rarely ill and do not need many doctors visits and am not very familiar with current medical routine to get assistance. My primary doctor is not available on weekends. Mercy does not have many locations open on Sunday. Cox has more weekend clinics available than Mercy (according to my online data search). Fortunately, with my insurance carrier I am not limited to Cox or Mercy. Anyway, this is the second time I have went to this CVS clinic and both times I received physician care within a few minutes. Both doctors I saw were very pleasant, professional, and gave me a proficient interview. I had my exam, test results, and prescription within an hour. Much better than setting for 1 or more hours at a traditional clinic and I must say, for me, the care at normal clinics were not any better than the CVS MinuteClinic. I would not hesitate to refer friends and family there for most problems.

cadence franke: Had an appointment at 10:50 and was told to get there 15min before my appt to check in. Showed up at 10:45 and got checked in, about five minutes later someone came out and told me it would be another ten minutes until I was helped. It has currently been 20min past my appointment time and I still have not been seen. Wouldn’t recommend making an appointment if you have anything else to do for the day.
Maegan Young: Did not help me what so ever and charged me $100. Thanks
Carol Brown: The worst service ever. Would not recommend to anyone. Do not go here
ded drunc: Quick and painless. They dont except my insurance but convince was worth the price.
R H: This place is great I'm so happy I discovered it! I love that you can make appointments online and you get in and out so fast. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable as well! Thank you CVS!
Sandy Ellis: They are quick and efficent. The medical staff is polite and friendly they do all they can to help.
Shawna Harmon: Always great service

carly randles: Will refuse to serve you and charge you for it.
Logan Elsey: I'd give less stars if I could. Scheduled a ear cleaning the NP looked in my ear and said I didn't need one charged 100 $ for 45 seconds of care didn't even preform the ear cleaning
Abbey Frye: Had an appointment for my 4 y/o who I thought had pink eye and ear infection with a 101 fever. I was asked all the Covid questions (normal) then the NP said she wanted to swab her for Covid before starting and I declined as we were there for pink eye and ear infection. NP said sorry I want a cOVID test if she wasn’t running a fever I wouldn’t ask for one. I left and made an appointment else where and guess what… double ear infection which is causing her pink eye all stemming from upper respiratory infection. NOT EVERYTHING IS COVID NP AT CVS!Just for the record I’m not against cOVID test if we have all the symptoms but when my little girl says ears which cause fevers and her eye looked awful, to me that doesn’t say Covid.I can’t believe that NP turned us away because I declined my daughter a cOVID test, it wouldn’t have changed a thing except putting her through an unnecessary test.
Dana Ridinger: I was extremely disappointed thatThe nurse practitioner Was giving me My immunization today Was not wearing a mask! Absolutely unprofessional and against CDC guidelines!
N Vee: The lady I dealt with was unprofessional. She was late from lunch and when she took the patient before me...she recognized me and tried to deter me from waiting on her. Do not recommend this location.
Jennifer fry: Dr. Angie was AMAZING. I was in rather quickly. She was super friendly. I've gone to other walk-in clinics with friends or family and this is one of the better clinics. I would highly recommend this clinic to any friend or relative.
Sean Sutton: I have came here twice now and was ran out both times. Once I came with my sick 4 year old son at 7pm and they said they close at 730pm and would not see us. Just now I went at 130pm and they were telling everyone they were closing for an hour for lunch. I would fire these people in a red hot second.
Ruby Jane: Beware! You may pay more than your co-pay at these clinics. They code themselves as retail specialist therefore you pay the co-pay you would pay to go see a real specialist.

Springfield-Greene County Health Department: what do users think?
Josue Velten: Quick and painless records retrieval, and as a plus everyone staffing was genial. They even laughed at my corny dad jokes, which is why I had to give them 4 stars as they were so quick I couldn't complete my whole set. Totally subverted my expectations on wait time, perhaps I was just lucky or perhaps they were getting tired of the jokes, I'm not quite sure...
Amber Armstrong: Quick and helpful service. In and out in less than 10 mins!
Jeffrey Inmon: Had to replace my lost birth certificate. Very kind to deal with over the phone as well as in person! Lovely ladies working the front very attentive to everyone's needs. Thank you so much!
Angel Cotton: I want to know why they’re making my kids quarantine for 10 days when the CDC says only 5 days?!!!
Shari Alcorn: Why are they only giving out masks on the Southside of town? It would be a burden for Northside people to drive that far just to get masks. Surely the Library Station could also hand out masks.
Michael Brown: Took only 15 min friendly and helpfull
Aaron Schekorra: A really great place to work!
Mark Applegate: They do the best they can to share quality information without unnecessarily alarming anyone and they provide many, many excellent services. Thank you for your hard work!
Jerry Riley: Changes that have recently been made through the water department has created a lot more work and headaches for people submitting samples. I do hundreds of samples a year and I will no longer use Greene County Health Department. Their policies and approach to customer service has the I don't care mentality. If any information is incorrect on any of the samples. They cannot be resubmitted unless you go and get another sample no matter if it is your fault or theirs. The new management in this area is much different than what it used to be. They're not here to provide customer service just create more work for customers.
Scott McCarthy: Regina is absolutely amazing!! She deserves a 20% pay increase.. She helped me out even when the Springfield Police Department and Greene County Sheriff's Department wouldn't.. Regina keep up the amazing work and thank you from the bottom of my heart
Eli Huggins: Jennifer from the health department is awfully rude. She needs to learn how to speak to people in food service before she ever comes back to my restaurant and orders food.
Shirley Blades: Very fast
ken fowler: Called today to see what all would be involved to get a replacement birth certificate. When I arrived, I was shocked at how friendly and quickly the staff was able to get my certificate! Don't think I was there for 5 minutes total! Thank you.
Jenalynn Rose: Rude and inaccurate matches the towns appearance and honesty levels. Interestingly enough I have never dealt with stuck up at this level.
Gayle Hoogstraet: Friendly and helpful service.
Kennedy Gosch-Morris: Very upset because I drove here from columbia MO to get checked up on just to be told the clinic closed early for no reason.
Logan Brojak: Sad to see the comments on here about some baby bobcat... People grouping the Whole health department for the doing.. might as well yell at the custodian for euthanizing the bobcat. Even though he had nothing to do with it.. shameful people blaming innocencet people
Penny Coleman: Teresa was very helpful and pleasant to deal with.
Jordan Woodward: Quickest service I have ever received from a government agency!
Carolanne Bridgforth: All the staff was lovely, Jesse who took care of me was absolutely amazing. She made me feel so comfortable and an easy experience. Thank you sis!
Amberlyn Cagle: Very nice people. Got a free flu shot. Bit of a wait, but that was probably my fault because I was late for my appointment.

Family Medical Walk-In Clinic: what do users think?
Ross Angel: I usually have few issues, but lately i have been appalled at one nurse practitioner. Now, i am polite and remember to thank the nurses every time i go (I'm chronically ill and go to doctors often) and I've even tried to be kind to this nurse to no avail. Chantelle S Allan is a cruel woman. She talks down to me, refuses to listen to my concerns, has made injuries i get hurt more by agitating the area, and has been overall vicious. I needed a doctors note for workers comp at one point, and she told me they didn't do that here (despite me having gotten it before from another doctor there with no issue) And that she wouldn't give me one but that she could give me a one day note. If i was a healthy person, it'd be no issue, but I'm not, and I'm tired of leaving there feeling worse after seeing her. However i applaud the other nurses, who are phenomenal and always kind even if they haven't had a good day. Thank you to the nurses who actually care about what they do and who they treat.
Elita Lickteig: I recently had a woman specific exam here and if ya know ya know - it’s an awkward adventure to begin with, but this tale makes it extra special! So I go in for my exam..1. Didn’t wait until I assumed the position (or advised what that would be to be most comfortable) so it began with me sitting up, propped on both hands and on the edge of my seat…2. Asked my V shaped form to open medical equipment for them as they somehow had both hands busy down there.3. I suppose I could have laid down at this point and used both hands to hold and tear the package open, but had an overwhelming fear of things going haywire if I moved wrong, so I did this using one hand to hold myself and the other to grasp the package and tear it open with….my teeth, before tapping on my knee so it poked out like a beverage straw and pointing it in their direction to grab and use.Just like that we were done and I was told I could redress, so they were timely in their process for one thing. However, I thought the experience to be very interesting and found the professionalism this place demonstrates undetectable.
Tammy Wallace: I've always had a pleasant experience here until yesterday. The Dr was rude, callous n very unprofessional. He didn't even introduce himself. I will be finding a new urgent care clinic
Amber Hutchison: The only urgent care I will take my kids to. The nurses and doctors talk to them directly and are so wonderful with children. I can actually relax here and know that my kids are receiving the best care in Springfield
Evy Jones: I highly recommend to anyone seeking fast and focused care. Found myself repeatedly thanking the staff just for being so fantastic. A great atmosphere and great people. They were able to refer me to a specialist and get me an appointment not 2 hours later, which is very impressive. Thank you Dr. Laurie and the nurse practitioners for being awesome. Will definitely be my first choice moving forward.
Ric Spivey: When we called and told them we needed a physical for an adult so that i could adopt my son, they said they would do it. When I showed up, the receptionist first said no, and then said I needed to bring a form in with what they needed to check for in the physical, and they would do it. I bring the paper in, and they tell me they only do physicals for little kids, which is creepy, I don't understand where they get off confusing people by giving them mixmatching information baised on how they feel at the time. If you're gonna do physicals and tell someone you're gonna do a physical, then do it, but don't get their hopes up and toss them aside because you only want to check little kids. I will not be trying this place for any future needs, either for my kids or myself.
Tabitha G: I wish I would have taken these comments seriously. This clinic misdiagnosed me, I ended up going into the hospital to find out I had something serious causing my symptoms. When I informed them of this, the doctor was extremely rude and wanted me to pay the FULL AMOUNT again to be seen for this condition, despite not getting any help the first time and a misdiagnosis. She spent less than 2 minutes listening to my symptoms only to misdiagnose me... These physicians do not care about you or what you're going through. They care about fast money, you're better off going to the ER.
Randi F: I know why they have low stars now... they have 1 good doctor ( Dr. P.) and 1 good secretary... all the rest are snobby stuck ups that don't care... Dr. Charnell has a horrible attitude..... they won't let me speak to a nurse when I call and ask they just repeat "come in" ... I have been into that clinic 2 times in one week and the 2nd time they didn't do anything and made us sit there for 4 hours while my wife was throwing up and shaking and didn't care. Which is weird because the 1st time when we went in when Dr. P was there we received good care.
Carol McCarthy: Today we had Urgent care visit for & the female Dr. on duty recognized that my daughter has been dealing with untreated asthma for 4 months
Delacey Short: I’ve been coming to this clinic for 2 years and Nancy is amazing, thorough, friendly and always has a smile on her face!! 10/10 recommend this clinic for all your needs!
Dan Stoltzfus: Took our 9 month old here that had been dealing with a bad cough and fever for about 3 days and really wanted to sure she doesn't have something serious. Our primary care was out of town at this time.. Oh and BTW had an ear infection which we knew for a fact per our primary care. After a few quick pokes the Dr. said no ear infection and just a common cold, give her some infant Tylenol. Literally. After dealing with 2 more nights of screaming, crying baby we decided to get a 2nd opinion. 2nd opinion resulted in rsv and yes ear infection still present. Seriously rsv!!?? Had we not been pouring every home remedy in her that we knew of we probably would have ended up in the hospital. Please do not take your babies here.
Tom Penland: as an extremely incompetent facility. This was a $5400 mistake for us. That's what it cost us with the ER and EMSA bills. Ironically, when EMSA was transporting our son they told him this place is "joke"...…They misdiagnose people all the time. If you are in need of medical care in Springfield stay clear of this place.
Judy Hillman: Excellent care very friendly and professional staff. Convenient hours.
Jeanene K.: Glad the Nixa Clinic is open again. Good to see the familiar faces again.
aj B: The closing staff turned my sick 4 year old away at 7:59 with the doors open and the clinic fully staffed this was extremely unprofessional and lazy and I just want it to be known that the staff on duty during January 12th at 7:59 pm should be held responsible for this laziness.
Lacey Kozemczak: It’s always so nice to come in myself or have my family seen. I work at this clinic, so my family and extended family are always messaging me to see which clinic I’m at to come be seen. They always tell me the have the best experiences. I love working here, it’s like having another family. Everyone is very accommodating and efficient. I hate that we sometimes have long waits, but with it being flu season and Covid rearing it’s ugly head again, the waits can be kind of long.
Greg Kenny: Went in on a weekend for a work injury. Was seen quickly just had to wait on X-ray tech to arrive and hour later. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable.
Audrey Belden: The doctor didn’t bother to actually test me for anything. Just said it was the flu. Then he told me to take ibuprofen for the muscle aches…if he would have checked my medications list he would know I cannot take ibuprofen as it is contraindicated with one of my medicines. He seemed very full of himself.
Kristi Medlock: Friendly and fast treatment.
Michael Seeley: I got here at 415pm. Took over an hour to get taken back. Got my vitals taken and all that, and now have been waiting over an hour for the doctor. It's almost 7pm. Just had a guy knock on the room door, start to open it, then when I said something he responds with "Just checking to see if someone was in here" and leaves.
Beto Barrientos: Friendly staff, thank you
