Mercy Emergency Department - Springfield: what do users think?
Charles Knapp: Came in via ambulance 7.5 hours prior to this post for complications due to broken leg, blood clots and blood thinners. Never got to see a doctor. Needless to say I'm considering changing my primary care physician out of the mercy network. I'd be embarrassed to work here. Staff is friendly and polite. Must be incompetent management or ownership.
Sarah Wanders: Waited 5 hrs was never seen. do better.
Jessica Merten-Schmidt: Go to cox. You’ll save yourself 5 hours.
C Stegall: Very long wait time that's crazy.....you'll probably be half dead before you get seen
Frances Crawford: 14+ hour wait for anyone my fiance was have bleeding and cramps and being 6 weeks pregnant took them 4+ hours to even check on the baby for them it's money first patients last mercy doesn't care about it's patients just there wallets.
Ulises Silva: Demasiado tiempo para atender alos pacientes q yegan demasiado enfermos
Kelly Callahan: If I could give a lower score than one star, I would. My husband spent 17 hours laying on the ER floor in extreme pain and never saw a doctor. There were other patients (elderly) who had been there 20 hours when we left and went to Cox. Cox ER got us in four hours. Mercy is a misnomer.
Bailey Barker: After having to one time sign out AMA due to lack of care, I had to return to mercy emergency today after being told mercy urgent care refused to see my son.A nurse who claimed to have experience with children with autism forcibly held my son down and shoved medication into his teeth. I offered multiple times to take the tablet and administer it myself. She ignored me and continued to force that Zofran onto his teeth. I had to help hold him down so he didn't hit himself or anyone else trying to get away from that woman. A doctor came in and evaluated him to the best of her abilities, even allowing me to help with the exam to keep him calm. She was poverty. But she is the only positive portion of this garbage trip to mercy ER. An hour after a doctor tells me my son is okay and they won't give me discharge papers. Yall act like frustrated parents are the problem, when you're forcing people to stay in hospital rooms until vomiting toddlers eat? Please, get a hold of yourselves.
Virgil Taylor: Nurses didn't intervene until my seizure was over and then tried to send me back to the waiting room. I'd rather die at home alone then die there alone. My previous visit I had a seizure that sent my heart rate to 145 so my boyfriend hit the nurse button and it took a while for anyone to even check if I was conscious. Now I've been becoming unconscious and stopping breathing, which I told the nurse checking in this time. Over 30 seconds of seizuring outside the front desk before anyone even checked on me, and then told me I should go back to the waiting room when I couldn't even hold my own head up.Some staff really does their best, others shouldn't have their license for risking the safety of their patients.
Tabitha G: Nurses are very kind and so are doctors. But it's unsanitary entirely. Sick people laying in the lobby chairs, dirty bathrooms, they literally had me carry my urine cup to the front desk for everyone in the lobby to see. How is this a sterile environment ?
Patrick Planer: Arrived by ambulance at approximately 6 p.m. within 15 to 30 minutes saw the nurse. Believe to have suffered stroke. Also have ICD and was concerned about the possibility of another heart attack. Had blood drawn. after 3 hours of sitting in waiting room with no contact with anyone went to front desk checked out and left. Sad state of affairs for an emergency room
Willow Morris: After visiting this ER and waiting hours, I now know why this ER gets such low ratings and reviews. When this many people rate it one star, there is a problem that needs to be addressed.
S Full9001: It's been 24 hours and I'm still in the waiting room. Not the only one. You come in with shortness of breath when you walk, they don't test it. Chest pain, ask you about it once. Can't think they can get an IV in you, so they don't try or pass it off to someone else for later. And stick and stick and stick. And still you wait. Which is what I'm doing. Not for lack of trying. Maybe I should've gone home, but it's my life. And here I still wait.Update, waited 26 hours was told I wasn't critical enough and would keep being pushed, so I left. Like so many others did the whole time I was there. They even admitted that it wasn't right. But still did nothing to help me. At all.You would have to Force me to go back there. Unconconcious.
Chandler Turnmire: If I could give zero stars I would!!!My sister was in the waiting room for 11 hours while PUKING UP BLOOD and only one test being done!!! Waited 4-5 hours for a CT scan to be done all for people to go in front of her!!!! HER SYMPTOMS WORSENED THE ENTIRE TIME!!!! TOOK THEM 3 HOURS TO GIVE HER A NAUSEA PILL THAT SHE ASKED FOR 3 TIMES!!!!!Ignored my sister and her medical needs!!!HORRIBLE!!! DO BETTER!!!!
cole kibbey: Been here for 19.5 hrs, would not even let me bring a cot to sleep on. Was told at Bolivar mercy needed emergency surgery ( apparently not that emergency significant). The least they could do is let everyone know approx wait time so maybe the ones that don't want to stay can leave. The staff have been friendly, I know they are just doing their job, but mercy as a system SUCKS. And I don't wanna get one of their automated " we are sorry for inconvenience please email or call to leave a detailed review" I won't fill it out yall need to review yourselves!
Mizku11: It is very sad seeing what this hospital has become. My wife and I left after 13 hours in the emergency room; we never saw a physician. What was once a top hospital nationally, Mercy has become a beacon for dissatisfaction
Tonjia Price: Used to be a really nice place now it's a dump and very unorganized I waited 5 hours and finally left it's really awful
Kay Danae: Waited over 4 hours when having a miscarriage. No excuse for that in my opinion.
Valerie Cox: Absolutely worst e.r. experience EVER. 12 HOUR WAIT for kidney stones....and we still aren't in! Can you do negative stars?
Ulrich Morningstar: I spent over six hours before I left. I traveled to Emergency Rooms in third world countries. I will tell you that the third world countries emergency room is 100x better.First of all it looks like it is lacking maintenance and upkeep. Looks like the place hasn't been deep clean or not once did they ever clean anything in-between patients. Not even a single wipe down. The in-take staff was extremely rude. Along with several other staff taking vitals was rude & unprofessional as well. They never addressed my issue but wanted to do a bunch of unnecessary tests. They wanted to keep me for 12-16 more hours before I left without eating and sitting in the waiting room.I gathered from talking to someone who has been waiting almost 20 hours without being treated. By the time I left the nurse at the desk was talking needing help to discharge over 18 people who walked out with notice. If I had to wait to get my IV removed I would just take it out myself and walked out.In short you better off taking changes dying the streets then here.
Garrett Capra: Do NOT go here unless you want to sit and wait for care for hours on end. I have never had a bad experience with MERCY until last week. I just finished typing a comment out to the hospital or I would put more detail here. Horrible nurses, horrible waiting room, horrible experience as a whole.

Cox Medical Center South Emergency Department and Trauma Center: what do users think?
Rebecca Henson: Why can’t you give 0 or at least half a star?! This was the worst experience at a medical facility my family has ever had. My 82-year-old mother was brought in for dizziness, elevated blood pressure, and palpitations. The staff was rude, and quite frankly, gave inaccurate information. They treated her like a child. They thought that misrepresenting certain things about her symptoms and the treatment would go unnoticed. However, sometimes you get an RN with 23 years of experience sitting with Mom who knows better. They were able to offer treatment for one problem, but she was back at an urgent care within 2 days of discharge where they finally figured out what else was going on. The bottom line is, even if they would’ve made no medical mistakes, my mother was crying most of the night after leaving. She felt so belittled. Is that your “caring and compassion” for patients? As a nurse it’s rare that I’ll be critical of another healthcare provider. I know the demands of the job, but your institution needs serious improvements and your staff need to remember why they’re there. Do better.
Patty Scott: WORST RATING EVER!!!!!I’m at this hospital right now and hope I never have to come back!! I’ve been waiting on a simple ultrasound since yesterday, I’ve asked and asked about it. All the staff are worried about is visiting amongst themselves and laughing!!!! I’ve not had one person ask me how I’m feeling or if I needed anything since I got here Sunday evening.I’ve had to ask and ask just to get my water refilled. I have not asked for pain medication even though I’m in pain.I asked to be released because of how I’m being treated. Now all of a sudden oh drink this water so they can do the ultrasound.I could get up and walk out the door and the wouldn’t have a clue that I had left.Very very very disappointed in this hospital.I hope others have better luck.I feel That they could of gotten me out of here a lot sooner! I’m sure there is someone a lot sicker than me waiting on a bed.
Tyler Bouton: I'm here now and no hospital staff has ever been so rude to me as RN Ramsey at the front desk. Just hateful to me at first sight, a complete stranger. I wonder if I'd be in better hands in a clinic of some kind but I'm here because I'm scared and need medical help. This place is horrible so far.
Amelia May: Wasn’t the biggest fan of my wait time (3 hours with a sick 2 year old) but we did arrive at 5 am and once we got back to a room everything moved faster and the nurse and doctor were AMAZING. This was our first time here and I feel very comfortable going back
Sabbath Brake: 10 hours to get into a room at the ER for a patient that is septic, another 6+ to get admitted to hospital. Horrible treatment of all patients by night staff and security keep their hand on weapon at all times walking around the waiting area. One nurse repeatedly told people coming in to go to urgent care. Trash on the floor between seats and food mess in the middle of the ER waiting room floor that was just ignored and smashed all over by staff walking on it.
Andrew Ross: The low review for this place is accurate. What should have been a $35 urgent care visit turned into a Super expensive ER visit with nothing being done.I tried to go to urgent care because of a new occurrence of massive migraines and vomiting every month. Urgent care insisted I go to the ER because "I needed an MRI IMMEDIATELY" I took their advice seriously because they kept telling me how concerning this is making me afraid I might have something life threatening. They even told me they'll call ahead and let them know I'm coming so the ER would know what I'm coming in for.Well I get to the ER and nobody knows why I'm in the ER, they ignore me when I try to tell them that UC sent me here for an MRI and were adamant I get one, and proceed to straight up lie to me about why Urgent care "actually probably" turned me away and sent me to ER. Saying things like "oh your pains only a 8/10 and they have a minimum criteria before they'll even consider taking someone in" and "we're a little quicker with hooking you up with imaging so that's probably why."They never bothered confirming information and just went on pure speculation and couldn't care less about what I had to say. In the end discharge papers diagnosed with a "headache" (completely ignoring the recurring vomiting which never happened before) never got the MRI (which was the entire purpose of me going to the ER instead of urgent care.) They never bothered contacting the previous doctor I saw to get clarification on why they sent me here and just shot at the hip making up excuses to shut me up.And to the cox rep that's going to reply to this saying that Cox health takes people's health very seriously: your nurses in this facility don't currently represent that ideal.
Zachary Jones: This is by far the worst er I have ever been in. No other ER I've ever been in has 10 to 12 hour wait times just to get into a room! Tonight I went in with severe headache pain dizziness and nausea and I sat there for four and a half hours not getting any labs or X-Rays done. downright disgraceful to how they load people up like cattle in a trough out hereWith little or no care to there well-being
Tracy Reynolds: The longest excperience of my life. It is not worth going to this ER unless you have an arm or leg cut off or if you have a gun shot wound. Otherwise do not be surprised if the sun is coming up when you leave this ER. I truly feel that they make your visit as long as possible to get insuance money.
Robert: Where to start hmmm? Well my wife was brought there by ambulance for a concussion related seizure 3/14/2023 at 12-1am and what she told me via phone and when she finally came home angered me. They did give her a CT scan and a EKG, but while preparing her to get it she was denied her call of nature and was forced to embarrass herself. Then they proceeded to ignore the fact my wife is claustrophobiac and now she has PTSD from it. Then they tried to admit her because she couldn't breathe well enough (I wonder why?). And I can't put all the horrible ways they treated her , but I am glad she made it home. NEVER GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO LIVE
Kalim James: Literally don’t come here unless you’re about to die or have life threatening injuries
Wade Wilson Redmond: My wife has admitted to there last night and I am unimpressed with them. She went in for a concussion related seizure and they started giving her all kinds of riot acts about things that had nothing to do with her incident like drawing arterial blood just to harass her about oxygen levels and constantly bedrebbling over her diabetes. They also strived and tried very hard to find reasons to inpatient admit her. It's true you can go to an ER for a cut and wind up getting admitted for a multitude of of made up things like they tried with her.
Chris Jones: God awful wait times my wife has all her blood work done and has the results on her app all she needs is 10 sec with a doc but no even though my wife came in on a ambulance we have been sitting in the waiting room going on 3 hours with a 1 year old they need to do better it's no wonder this emergency room has a 1.8 star rating
some random guy: Went to the emergency room for weakness on my left side of my body. I couldnt hardly walk this moring and couldn't pick anything up with my left arm. We were there from 11:00 am till 6:30 pm. I have epilepsy went to Columbia to have a mri done. Showed thicking on my left lobe of my brain have paper work to prove it and a cd with the pictures on it. Went to the emergency room to get some help for the weakness and pain. They did a mri came back normal mind you one in Columbia is a better mri. The doctor wanted to argue with me. She was arrogant and wanted to talk down to me. They lady at the urgent care check in desk was the same way. These people wouldn't help you unless you were knocking on death's door. I recommend going some were eles. I personally won't be going back even if I was on fire.
Todd Green: Waited 3.5 hours with 3 or 4 people in front of me, not a single one was called back while I was there. Shouldn’t be called and Emergency Room if the wait is longer than 14 hours. Pathetic.
Krissamey Dentler: Very displeased with the staff at this location. The staff had very poor bedside manners and did not treat my husband with the care he needed. The doctors were terrible, showed absolutely no professionalism, and had my husband already diagnosed before any lab work was conducted. The doctor then came into the room and stated that the nurse was a liar.
Stephanie March: I've been having dizzy spells with double vision, I tried to go to urgent care because I didn't think it was an emergency but they sent me to ER due to my symptoms and I was already prepared with my phone, snacks and a book. I normally go to Cox North but was closer to the south side. There was ALOT of people in the waiting room. Which I understand it's busy which is why I came prepared but what bothered me was to see an older gentleman go up front to have his IV removed to leave and said "wow you guys aren't equipped to deal with such volume" not in a rude way but it's true cox South has very limited staff and rooms for the volume of most of Springfield. That's not their fault and he wasn't rude or accusatory but what bothered me is after he left the front desk mocked him and was making jokes about him and his condition. That's not ok and concerning to me as someone seeking care from this facility. I decided to move back to cox north after that cause the front desk nurses were making it a joke and saying things such as "well its on him if he croaks" I'm not ok putting my health in the hands of nurses who think a 6-7 hour wait time (even though not their fault) means it's our fault to die or make jokes about it. It's incredibly unprofessional. I'll keep going to the North emergency room
James Cadotte: 4 1/2 hours and still haven't seen a doctor. If I had had something serious, I'd be dead in the waiting room. The nurses have been great, but that's about it.
Jonathan Brackett: They are more worried about making money than saving lives, typical corporate money hungry companies.
Isabella Ward: Unless you’re literally dying DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! My mother and law and I have been waiting for almost 6 hours and they haven’t done anything to make her feel better, I thought having gallbladder issues was a big deal but I guess not to the staff of Cox south, what amazing and competent Doctors/Staff.
melanie rodriguez: This is the absolute worst hospital I’ve ever been to. For somebody who has history of cardiac problems and to wait 3 hours for an ekg to even be ordered is absolutely ridiculous. I read that mercys hospital is much better when it comes to cardiac problems so if you’re having any problems and believe something may be wrong don’t put your faith in this hospital and just head straight to mercy.
Robby Stark: Just don't. Have been here for well over 10 hours. They have done blood work, urine test, and a ct scan. Haven't seen a nurse in over 3 hours. Every time we have asked for one it's the same thing "we'll let your nurse know" good things not a heart attack. Someone would have died. Save your loved ones. Go somewhere else.

Cox North Emergency Department: what do users think?
Ash Heaston: 2nd time in two weeks as always you guys are awesome!
Phoenix Segrist: Sat in the waiting room for 3 hours with my mom only for her to get taken back to a room and harassed and discriminated against by a nurse named Mandy. Worst experience we have ever had!
Robert Stone: We visited the ER on a Saturday night For my son who had an eye problem. The staff was very courteous and got us in and out in under an hour. Amazing! Dr. Hunter was terrific as was Claude and Malina, As well as the rest of the staff. Thank you very much!
toolfreak4157: My girlfriend was a recent patient in the ER at Cox North. The night staff there was very loud and rambunctious with their chatter and personal conversations. I also heard them talking about other patients in earshot of us and others as well which included them laughing at the patients expense. The day shift staff members were actually quieter and did a much better job at checking in on their patients. Also, the psychiatrist was supposed to be seeing patients in the ER during the day didn't arrive until 730 at night wearing sweats. This caused much frustration for the patients as well as for the staff.
Helix Sass: Me and my Boyfriend brought our roommate in because of a suicide attempt. Less then 4 hours later he was released. Now we are terrified of waking up and finding him dead in the other room because this hospital decided that somebody who tried to kill themselves is totally fine to go home
Kimberly Constable: If I could give this hospital emergency department negative stars I wouldWas in waiting room with a family member for hours and hours watching others that had walked in after been seen with very little wait timeStaff was very rude and disrespectful!!! Feel that the reason the family member was being seen was the cause for the treatment and wait. When the wait time was addressed to desk staff they laughed !!
Matthew Shaffer: During my last visit to Cox North ER, which was 2017 and for mental health reasons, one of the ER nurses started having discussions of wishing that I would commit self-harm due to my background. She went on to also be verbally abusive towards me while I was in an emotional state. Cox North ER is NOT a safe place for people to go to get help. Avoid that hospital is whenever possible.
Kayla Hill: Terrible experience
Chevelle Hargis: I took my daughter in bc she has gi problems and was getting sick with stabbing pains in her stomach. No one looked at her stomach they just wanted to test her for strep and covid. Which neither one of those has those symptoms... the doctors do not care about you or your health!!! Would never recommend anyone to go there unless you wanna end up in a body bag.
Riley O'Shea: They lose your stuff every single time and one of the security guard has some serious issues. And they don't seem to care at all about mental health patients.
Hilary Grayson: When it came to treatment as a person last night everyone was amazing but after like 4 hours for bad stomaches pains distended stomach and very tender they had given me a CT scan without the dye that helps detect infection they did take blood but not all they were supposed to they kept drawing blood out but pushing it back in over and over and when they'd actually keep the blood they'd just keep throwing it away instead of using it for the rest of the samples they needed and never took they came back at the end and they said there was nothing wrong with me well I checked my patient portal after if there was nothing wrong WHY IS MY WHITE BLOOD CELL COUNT 16.9 THOUSAND WHEN THE HIGHEST IT SHOULD BE IS 10.8 THOUSAND THAT MEANS THERE It IS AN INFECTION yet they said there is nothing wrong PLUS THERE WAS OTHER RESULTS THAT WERE TOO HIGH OR TOO LOW YET THEY SAID THERE WAS NOTHING WRONGI DIDNT WANT pain medication nothing like that I just know I had an intestinal bacterial infection that almost killed me before like this and I wanted to make sure I was ok MY BLOOD TEST RESULTS SAY THAT IM NOT OK YET THEY RELEASED ME SAYING THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH NO TREATMENT FOR INFECTION if I could post my screenshots of my blood test results I would to show you
Untongue Tied: Nice to me atleast
Jaime Rochin: If you like people that hate you, then this is the place to go!
Lucky Guggiana: If this place is your only choice, choose to die instead.
Jennifer Salazar: If I can leave zero stars I would I have been here over 12 hours for my daughter to be seen and nothing has been done now I got a wait until they can transport to take her else where
XoXo MiMi: From the receptionist, RN, police/security, everyone is just horrible. This hospital is lacking empathy for patients. Worst hospital in Springfield, don’t come here !!!
Sherri Riili: Walk in and all 4 nurses sitting at the desk are on their phones! Another one is sleeping at a desk! Perhaps one of them could put on gloves and pick the used tissues off the floor and the cottonball with blood on it!
Jonathan Cook: So I have a significant amount of health issues and have been to the cox north er 6 times or so in the last few years. Every single time has been a great experience. The wait times are generally shorter than any other er in town. So much so that when I had kindney stones years ago and waited in the cox south er for 2 hours only to get told it would be 7-8 more hours to get in. I was in excruciating pain and decided to leave as I just couldn’t stand the waiting room for 7 more hours. On my way out someone mentioned that cox north had no waiting so I drove over there. I walked in and was in a room talking with the doctor in 15-20 mins. Had a ct right after and was given pain meds to help. One of the best experiences ever. The longest I have had to wait at north er was 45 mins to be seen. Absolutely fantastic drs nurses and staff. They have even started a remodel and the rooms are very nice.Thank you for positive experiences!
Anne: Very dirty. Wouldn't recommend
kimberlinah h.e: Was seen june 27 after i was involved in a motorcycle crash. I had always had good treatment in the past at cox north but this time it was horrific. My husband and i was both being seen. Was both treated like inmates pretty sure that cox north is a hospital and not a penitentiary. The dr never once spoke to me. The nurse i had informed me that i could not have any info on my husband or even make a phone call out.I was also man handled for no reason on the arm that had damage and profiled as a honkey by nursing staff. Denied warm blankets even tho i had just spent 30 minutes in the rain.Save your self some time and choose a different ER this one lacks everything it once had.Wasnt clean- someome elses bloody napkins by the bedNursing staff are very rude and have no compassion or empathy.
Terry Simpson: I was seen by doctor Patrick Gilbreth last night with concerns of a lump on my chest and me having cancer multiple times in the past. He was extremely professional with a great bedside manner. He got me set up with a primary physician so that I can get reestablished with an oncologist. He also reassured me that it wasn't cancer again. Thank you so much for making my experience better last night. And thank you also to the nurses that were so kind.

Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care: what do users think?
Micelle Huff: Everyone was polite and helpful. They promptly and carefully exrayed my broken wrist & explained the situation. They comforted my hand, wrist and arm with a nice wrap and sling. Then further They provided me with an appt with a wonderful PA at the orthopedic hospital clinic. Much appreciated all of their care and guidance Thank you to all of my Care Team at Mercy-Go-Health Urgent Care.
Bunny Lane: NP explained everything & caring. It was the location on E Republic Rd in Springfield Mo
Lee Ann Roark: I have a puncture wound that became infected. Not realizing how serious it could ultimately be I just “doctored” it myself by washing it followed by a splash of hydrogen peroxide and isopropyl alcohol. Bad idea.[OK my cat bit me when we were playing with a string and he sunk his eye tooth deep into my forearm]Three days of my taking care of it resulted in a nasty, ugly, stinky thing. At my husband’s urging I went to the Mercy Urgent Care in the Mager Center at the corner of Republic Rdand Cox Rd.The ladies at the front desk who greeted me were so sweet and helpful. I got checked in right away thanks to Brooklyn and Robin whocould not have been more efficient. Soon I was called back to an exam room. Right away a doctor who introduced himself as Derek, came into examine my wound. He did what a great doctor would do. As he took care of my arm he education me as to how serious it could have been and what to clean a puncture with (definitely not hydrogen peroxide nor isopropyl alcohol). After getting a tetanus shot I went home with everything I needed for the next few days to properly clean, disinfect, and dress my arm, plus a prescription for an antibiotic.I’ve had some terrible experiences in my past visits to urgent care. Thanks to the kind and efficient help from BROOKLYN, ROBIN, andDR. DEREK I feel confident that this painful, nasty cat bite will heal in due time and all will be well.PS I failed to mention that I’m not your average patient in that my immune system is compromised as a result from a kidney transplant and so a wound such as this left untreated could be very serious even deadly.
Lora Smith: Super easy reserving my visit online. Wonderful staff.
Delilah Hargis: Excellent Doctor very much appreciated the explanation on medication. Wonderful advice. Concern about blood pressure.Give me advice on checking it and did.Blood pressure is fine now
Crystal Hamilton: The staff at this location are very good. They are always accommodating and do a comprehensive job. With two active sons, we have been frequent visitors. Schedule online and you will be in and out in decent time.
DaddysGirl99: They were helpful and kind
Heather Leverich: I showed up right when they opened after making an appointment for the afternoon on a Sunday. They were able to get me in right away. I was back in a exam room being treated within 15 minutes. I had a prescription and was out the door in less than an hour. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They took my insurance and we're conveniently located for me. I would definitely go back again if I needed urgent care.
Nix 89: Horrible front desk customer service. The older lady with glasses is rude and disrespectful. I brought my 4 year old in because she has an ear infection and fever . I asked her how come 3 people who came after us went back before my daughter. She said EXTREMELY RUDELY"because she was a walk in if you wanted her to be seen faster you should have made an appointment."
Freda: Very nice and professional best at what they do and very caring
Mary lou Lewis: An all around good experience.
Susie Frieze: They were ready for me when i got there great Nurse Practitioner definitely recommend
Rod Solina: Absolutely terrible wait times....4 employees sitting around doing nothing. One Nurse Practioner caring for a room full of patients.
Christie Greenway: The office was very nice, cleanThe women at the desk were helpful and open about the wait for a walk inThe nurse who took me back was exceptionally polite and explained everythingNurse practitioner was helpful and interested in helping me.
Jonathan Herron: Incompetent and perpetuating covid through inability to contact an insurance provider. Don't go here if you want good treatment, in fact avoid Mercy all together
Barbara Mitchell: The staff are professional and the office is always clean. I feel welcome when I enter, even if I don't have an appointment. The staff is helpful in finding answers and giving medical advice.
Nicole Morris: This. Place. They coded my visit incorrectly from 11/28/21. I came in for a strep test and they continue to code it as an non-emergent use of an emergency room. THIS IS AN URGENT CARE. I have been fighting them for 15 months. An absolute joke. I have in writing it was coded incorrectly but they REFUSE to fix it, after an insane amount of calls to my insurance and their billing department. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Jordan Nimmo: Mask required policy but employees don’t follow their own rules. Either follow you policy if patients are truly unsafe or give it up. I complied. “Resistance is futile”
Kimberly Youngblood Julian: Do not go here for Covid testing unless you have $364.00 to spend.
Kristian Gilliland: If you’re scheduling your appointment online or via phone, be sure to do so 1-2 hrs ahead of time. You’ll be waiting that in the waiting room at minimum after your appt time.
Warren Reynolds: Made my appointment online, was seen within a short time period after my arrival. Seen by PA J Ellis, very professional, concerned for my condition. He recommended a course of treatment that has proven effective. Will return to this facility if needed

Mercy Clinic Advanced Ambulatory Care - National: what do users think?
megan hickey: Very efficient and got my son in and out with an extensive exam!! Thank you so much!
James McCullough: My insurance utilizes the Mercy network, and I prefer to use Mercy Advanced Care - National for urgent care services instead of GoHealth. This facility has better equipment for diagnostics, better pharmacy access, and more highly-trained professionals than GoHealth, and I get better outcomes here.
Tabitha G: Most professional health facility I've ever been in. The whole staff is friendly and caring, and the nurses are actually helpful and treat you with respect. I went to multiple clinics only to be misdiagnosed and ignored.. Dr Crisp seemed to listen to me right away and seemed like she actually felt sympathy for my discomfort. My experience was fast and despite not receiving the best news they gave me hope that good care does still exist.
Garra Crews: We are so fortunate to have this option in town...it's such a blessing to not have to go to the emergency room when you need more than just a quick screening. I appreciate how they always take the time to listen and throughly check things out, so that when you leave you can feel confident about what is (or isn't) going on. I try to only come here when necessary, but it's so awesome I wish I could come here for everything!
Inna Burlaku: Great experience at this clinic. Highly recommend.
Logan Lane: Freezing room masked my early fever symptoms. So they sent me out with no treatment options because I wasn't showing signs during my visit. Now I've had to break two +100° fevers starting less than two hours after my appointment. And now they won't do anything for me without another appointment, which not everyone can afford to keep going back. Thanks.
Billy Beans: Been sitting here for a hour waiting for my great aunt to get a shot of a antibiotic. It’s a shame and the truth that no one really cares about people anymore 🤦🏼. 10/31/22 when I came here today receptionist said MASK MASK MASK 😷. I had a mask on my face as I wheeled my great aunt in so 🤷‍♂️ what her problem was. They then poked her twice before they finally got some blood pumping out. Thursday Friday was good but don’t come here on a Monday.
Margaret Gruetzemacher: I called about a test I had scheduled which for various reasons the time needed to be changed. The young woman who answered the phone was most helpful and was able to make the change for me herself. So pleasant and kind.
Stephanie Vanaman: Staff were very kind and courteous and delivered absolutely EXCELLENT care.
Farming Fantasy: Only really had one visit that was unsatisfactory but other than that great staff.
Paige: I was very pleased with my child’s care here. They were patient, kind and very accommodating to a scared and very talkative four year old. We got the answers we needed and was seen very quickly. I appreciated the patience and how informative the entire staff was. The front desk/check in went very smooth and they were also friendly. I highly recommend this facility.
Jessica Benson: You can get great care from this place. I do recommend it.
Amber Brown: Seriously the best people work here! This is the only place I have ever had such kindness and actual answers on health questions.
Carly Thomas: All the staff, but especially Amanda, Tony, and Carolyn were fantastic. They were constantly checking on me and doing things to help me get better and I was already feeling better within an hour in their care. Very knowledgable and a great team of people!
Megan wolff: Tonight, I had an accident in the kitchen and this clinic saved me. I called when they were closing in 45 minutes to see if they could fit me in. The gentleman who answered the phone said they could take a look, but may not be able to fully treat me and would have to potentially refer me to a different urgent care.I was not only greeted by the kindest nurse, Kaitlyn, I was also fully treated by an extremely considerate and patient PA, Wayne. In the past, I have had some negative experiences at Urgent cares , but this visit was nothing short of fantastic. They fit me in last minute, took me back within 10 minutes of waiting, and took extra time out of their night to make sure I was healed. 10/10 recommend this clinic! The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and successfully treated. Very much appreciated!
Rebekah Hadlow: The drs here are amazing, the staff are caring and the care was top notch.
Megan Mitchell: Very, very happy with the service I had here. I tend to not like clinics, or going to the doctor much for that matter, but the women that helped me today were kind, courteous, and thorough even at the end of what I imagine was a long day for them. Would recommend any family member or friend to them, which is not something I've been able to say about any other office I've been to in Springfield. Thank you.
Joshua Dugas: Incredibly rude and unhelpful staff. Gave poor instructions on where to go and gave horrible attitude when instructions were followed as given.
Jimela Shaw: They care and are very clean
Julie: Dr Guy Kline is terrible. He may be a good doctor if you are a man but very condescending toward women and absolutely no care or compassion.
Patrick March: Took my NP about 3 questions and 1 test bend to diagnose my specific tendinitis. If you go here expect expertise and compassion. TRANS FRIENDLY! If I could make them my pcp I would.

CoxHealth: Emergency Room: what do users think?
Echo Alexzander: Buyer beware. Not only is this location badly understaffed meaning you'll be sitting and waiting for 12 hours or more in the hallways after the lobby has overflown, plan to pay a minimum of $634.84 for check-in and triage services if you opt to leave without receiving care.
Angela H: This place is not busy!! Been here 2 1/2 hours. They have only taken back 2 patients. The front desk area at one time had 5 employees out there socializing. Not once has anyone asked or checked on my fathers well-being. I suppose we come to the ER for fun and kicks. They don’t seem to care how you are feeling. I understand non emergency and emergencies. This is BS! I’ve been very observant. Those beds aren’t full back there.
Deanna Moskalenko: It is clean but the service is horabel. My little 2 year old brother had a fever of 103.7 and thy kept us waiting for 6 hours. My brother was throwing up and looked tired. We asked them what is taking so long but thy just ignored us.

Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care: what do users think?
Brandon Lee: The whole building has suite numbers. Mercy doesn't have it at all while every other business in this strip has one consistently above their doors.I had a delivery here and it was difficult to locate. Not everyone knows the business the address is associated with.I'll update my review when you put a suite number.
Theresa Edwards: Everyone was kind , compassionate and thorough at their jobs. Great when you're not feeling well.
Michael Vance: The service was awesome
Jennifer Dunn: Kind and professional staff. I had immediate care and attention. Job very well done!
Jessica Roe: Service was phenomenal! Everyone was so sweet and helpful!
Jordan Hicks: Very fast and professional service. I was listened to by the nurses and the doctor. I felt much better in just a few short hours after my visit
Olivia Niesen: The only person who I felt listened to me and my concerns was the NP. The nurses acted like I was an inconvenience to them, and when I pointed out that my medications were not correctly listed on my chart, the nurse said it didn't matter. They also had the patient room doors open and were yelling across the lobby at one another to find a splint for a patient. I felt like that was a violation of HIPAA because they were saying her name, what the splint was for, etc. The patient's privacy was not respected at all. I also got a call from Mercy GO Health Urgent Care that I missed, and no voicemail was left, so I called the number back. Whomever picked up said they couldn't help me without a voicemail, and without even asking my name or DOB, she hung up on me. Rude customer service and the care was not good either.
Sharon Thompson: Great service and knowledgeable employees
Kiere Drake: Everyone was nice. I will be a returning customer! Very friendly and caring.
Dawn Perry: I went to urgent care a complete mess. I was hurting so bad inwas shaking. I couldn't speak clearly and could not follow simple instructions. The staff asked the right questions and understood what was wrong. They were able to take the edge off of my pain with an anti inflammatory shot. The staff was absolutely fantastic! The facility was very clean and nice!
Bon Tindle: Excellent service.
Amy Richardson: I took my daughter here for a ear infection the morning of 3/25/23. The lady that checked us in was unfriendly, never made eye contact. She seemed annoyed we were there. I had made an appointment online arrived 10-15 minutes early. I received the care needed for my daughter. She just seemed unprofessional.
Linda Rifenbark: Very good service. Clean large office. Friendly doctor, nurse & secretary. I will definitely go back if I need to.
Shirley Mellott: I appreciated the courtesy and communication while I was there.
Kate R (SoulFullKate): I came in for a dog bite and was impressed by the facilities. The staff was kind and the rooms were clean.
Myownworld: Fast vist with very little wait time in lobby
Airin Bassett: Very quick access and a caring, compassionate staff.
Janene Paramore: I thought this place was one of the better ones but today I was proven wrong. I took my 4 year old grandson in today and after he was examined he was getting down from the exam table and fell. One person saw him fall but just stood there, didn't help him get up or ask if he was ok, then the person that examined him (don't remember her name)came in and said did he fall and just stood there and looked at him that's it! I got him on my lap and he cried and cried. When leaving there was rudeness! I find it to be very unprofessional for staff at an Urgent Care not to help a little guy who fell getting off an exam table!!
Nicole Morris: This. Place. They coded my visit incorrectly from 11/21/21. I came in for a strep test and they continue to code it as a non-emergent use of an emergency room. THIS IS AN URGENT CARE. I have been fighting them for 15 months. An absolute joke. I have in writing it was coded incorrectly but they REFUSE to fix it, after an insane amount of calls to my insurance and their billing department. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Patrick Planer: Great staff and with appointment seen on time.
