Kara Randy Kuhnel: Made an appointment with Ryan for a service call on our Samsung refrigerator (do not buy one, by the way). Temperature was at 52F. Tim was out the next morning while we were out of town (neighbor let him in), diagnosed the problem, quoted approximate total over the phone, had the parts with him, fixed and resolved in an hour, with a 90 day guarantee! Oh, and the total cost was exactly in line with the quote, paid over the phone and had a text receipt before we hung up. Dan Wills: Contacted Service Brothers for some service on a freezer in a refrigerator in my garage. Have used them before multiple times with no issues so felt comfortable using them again. Last Friday Tim the tech came out and looked the unit over. I was told it was a bad thermostat and they would need to replace. He picked up a new one and had it in within a hour or so it was replaced. For this I was charged almost $300, that I understood with the going costs for appliance repair. However, after the tech left, we noticed that the temp in the freezer was running in the 20s and not where we were told it should, at around 0 to 10 degrees. Thiswas after several hours, so I contacted the tech and was told he would return around mid afternoon on the following Monday. After waiting around the afternoon. I was then told he would be back after 5pm. He returned and told be he would return after getting a different thermostat, hopefully the next day to try to replace the one put in. On Tuesday, after not hearing anything from him I called and left a message, no reply. The next day I decided to contact the company and go a different route to see if I could get them to contact me and come out to change out the part. Was called back from another person but missed the call. Had to call back and leave a message. Since then I have called the company back a couple of times with no response yet. I am not happy with their lack of response. I was told that the part they put in may have been defective and bring out another, but no follow up yet. This was after I was told that they would be bringing out a different thermostat. At this point I have been waiting 4 days for the company's return visit with a different part to get the freezer down to an more acceptable temp to keep food frozen.Service:Freezer repair

L A: The worst customer service I have ever experienced. The freezer I purchased stopped working, completely defrosting 3 times, causing me to lose close to $1000.00 in food. Repairs didn’t work and Hawkins and Sons initially told me to call the manufacturer because it had nothing to do with them. Almost a full year later the freezer was replaced by the manufacturer. My first and last purchase from Hawkins.

Gregg Poryzees: Hawkins is one of two factory certified Subzero and Wolf appliance service reps in the Chesco / Delco area. A shout-out to Matt who is hands-down the most knowledgeable service rep with whom I have had the privilege of working. I won't trust my Subzero, Wolf and Viking appliances to anyone else.
Patricia Marx: Be careful buying Speed Queen TR5003WN if you want a washing machine that saves water and uses fabric softener. You can do one or the other but not both. You can use any other dial and you can use fabric softener with them but not water saving. Like my machine, but think I would have bought another if I had known that.

The part was in earlier than promised (which was great) and the price was comparable for other sources of the same factory part. The parts department is clean and appears to be well organized.What really stuck out was the experienced fellow helping at the counter yesterday (Tuesday 3/22). I needed a few insulators to complete the element replacement, and initially they couldn’t find them. The dryer I was working on was made in 1982, so sometimes it’s hard to figure out what parts fit it. After leaving the store, I received a phone call stating they had found them. It’s a $2 part so it’s not as though it was a big money maker, but I needed it to do the job correctly. The folks here went out of their way after they made the initial sale to see that I had what I needed to properly complete the job. I really appreciated it. My dryer is working well now, and will hopefully give me and my family many more years of service.

With each purchase, it always works out that the price is fair, they go out of their way to deliver what you need in record time. In this case, they actually reworked the schedule to accommodate my family. In the years that I’ve dealt with Hawkins, every item that they have recommended has been the right choice. I certainly cannot be an expert on all things that I need to buy. These folks give you what you need, they get it to you asap, and theyback it up if it ever needs service. bradley schultz: I had a work order through AHS and they assigned this company to us. Calling them to get on their schedule took over a month with a leaking dish washer. Our dishwasher then proceeded to have errors and stopped working. A month later when they finally came to see us, they fixed the errors however, they didn't fix the leaking issue. My wife tried to explain the leaking to the technician but they didn't listen to her for some reason and dismissed her. I called back to ask what happened and they said the ticket was closed and to submit another one even though they closed the ticket without fixing the issue. Horrible customer service on their behalf and horrible technicians to not resolve the issue explained by a woman.Service:Washing machine repair

We had been told by a different Technician from a different business that a part needed to be ordered. This other business ordered the part without even checking to see what was wrong. The only information they had was what we told them over the phone. And with that info they ordered a part that really was never needed. Hubby and I decided to use Certified because the first business was so unprofessional that we called Frigidaire and told that they needed to refer us to someone else who is more professional and reliable. Received a call at 9:26 a.m. confirming they would be at my home between 2 p.m and 5 p.m. and that I would receive a call when they were in route. It is now 7:40 p.m. on 9/5/22 and NO ONE SHOWED UP AT MY HOME. By default, you have to select one star to submit, but they don't deserve a star at all.

Chris: We scheduled an appt to have our refrigerator serviced 3-4 weeks in advance with an appt time between 8-12pm. We received two separate confirmations for our scheduled time so we had no reason to believe our appt was at any other time. We were notified the day before (after 3pm) that our appt had been changed to 1-3pm. We did not receive the message until after 5pm as we were at work so the office was closed when we immediately called to find out why our appt had been changed. We called first thing the next morning and spoke with someone from their office. We explained we had scheduled our appt weeks in advance, received confirmations, and taken time off from work to meet the technician. As we were not given adequate advance notice, no one would be able to be home for the newly scheduled time from 1-3pm. We were told, "Oh well, that is our company policy. We schedule appts to provide ease for our technicians' travel." They stated that if we could not be available between 1-3pm, we would have to cancel our appt. We called back again and this time spoke with Ashley, the office manager. We explained the situation again and were told (this time more aggressively) that we either accept the time they provide or we do not get service. Basically, they schedule times based on what works best for them and not the customer, regardless of when your appt was scheduled. Not only have we now missed half a day of work but our pre-paid warranty for service is now useless as we cannot meet their scheduling demands. We recommend NOT using this company if you work a job, have a warranty with which you wish to comply, or just want good service.

Matthew Davis: I payed $149 for him to tell me my fan was frozen and used a hair dry to unthaw and that was it. Said my fridge may not be level and that could be the reason but did not have a leveler. We used mine and the fridge was level. Hopefully this problem doesn’t occur again but he did not even do a good check to see what May have been the problem he was in a hurry to pick up his lady from dialysis.Service:Refrigerator repair
Kyle H: Called to have my fridge deep cleaned on the coils and dust on the underside. The repair guy came out had to use my broom ,and vacuum and didn’t even bring the right tools to clean the coils. My wife had to do it herself a day later. $88 wasted and called to have half my money refunded and still have not seen a check. Fair warning anyone that uses the companyService:Refrigerator repair

nocole fieker: Today's date is 10/3/22. I called the the night about an electrical issue. Said they would be here at 8 am. They were here and ready to get the ball rolling. Within minutes they had everything figured out. I had to get a new panel box and a few outlets repaired. Due to the state everything was in. My house was put on high priority to get done. And they did. Within a few hours my house is fully functional and absolutely no problems. They checked all outlets and just did a thorough inspection of all electrical. I couldn't ask for better service! High recommended!!!! Thank you Jasen and your sons for the quick repair.

John Guerra: The tech showed up when he said he would and he was professional. So, for that, I will give 2*. But he didn't have parts or experience with our dryer and quoted a price that was almost as much as a new dryer. It sounded like he was out of his depth. Instead, he suggested we buy a used dryer. In the end, I wasted two days waiting for him to do nothing. I paid $88 for his visit but I was disappointed.Fyi... I was able to fix the dryer myself using $30 in parts (cheaper if i wanted to order from Amazon and wait, but i was able to get the repair kit locally same day). It took me 2.5 hours (including the time to watch youtube videos to learn what I needed). Keep in mind I have never taken apart or serviced a dryer before in my life. Turns out an idler pulley replacement is one of the most common issues in dryers and relatively easy fix. The $30 kit also had a new belt and drum rollers, so i replaced those while i had the dryer apart. I would expect an appliance repair company to know how to handle this type of service for less than the price of a new dryer.Perhaps this company is more familiar with other types of appliances. But I wouldn't suggest them to fix a squealing dryer.

Tigerus38: They came the guy was nice but didnt fix the issue. Instead charged my card for over $400 before even doing any work and havent called me back to fix bill. Had to have another place come who said they differently didnt check or do anything that should have been done.

It looks great it works great and when we found the place where you hook on the electric cord didn't have enough screws, they came out and put the electric cord on for us. The tech was nice and made an extra trip and worked way past 6:00 to make sure our dryer worked just right. All this for just the purchase price. And I love the warranty. I will purchase from this vendor again when the need arises.

CJ even fixed the leg on my washer to make the spin cycle work better because he noticed it wasn't level.

Jill Gorman: This company deserves the most glowing reviews and five stars on this list!!My AC quit working and I thought my warranty with ATS had run out, so I looked to see who had the most stars and positive reviews on here... and regrettably called a different company (DON'T DO IT).. The guy who came reminded me of a used car salesman -over the top, fake friendliness, and went on and on about all the stuff I needed ($2000 worth.) He was a liar. He also tried to get me to put new ductwork in for another $3000 (because "Hey, we have financing!") My head was spinning, but while this guy was outside "making some calls" to "get me the best deal", I found my warranty from ATS, and looked, just to be sure it was up, and I have a year left! So I gave that guy the boot and ATS saved the day.They sent someone who was the polar opposite of "we have financing" guy. His friendliness was genuine, he was honest, he was real, he actually helped, and didn't make my anxiety bubble over. When my warranty runs out I'll still be calling ATS if/when I have heating or cooling issues. And I told everyone on Facebook to call them if they have heating or air issues, because ATS should seriously be the one with a few thousand good reviews.Anyway, thank you guys so much!!! Steven Miller: Our furnace blower would not go on and I was getting an alert on my econet thermostat that there was no communication to the blower. I called on Friday evening after what I figured normal business hours and left a message about what was going on. I received a call from Jason soon after I left the message and he said he could come that evening if I wanted. Jason and Donny came over since they were available and they were able to quickly diagnose the problem. An electronic inside the blower motor assembly had burned up and Jason said he would try to get the part ASAP and would call me Saturday to let me know what was going on. He did call me as promised and an appointment was set up to replace the defective parts. Jason came out and was able to get my furnace back into service right away! Jason and Donny were very professional and friendly and were able to answer all the questions I had. I definitely recommend ATS because I was treated as a customer should be and I was impressed with their integrity. Seth H: I had a 20+ year old HVAC system that I was wishing to upgrade with a Goodman heat pump and furnace to help save on propane usage. ATS (Donny) came and took measurements to make sure everything was properly sized and sat down at my table to give me my quote before they had even left which was greatly appreciated. I asked several questions about the system and Donny was able to answer all of them. Their quote was the best of two other competitors I had contacted for a similar system.On the day of the install the arrived on time and spent all day carefully installing my heat pump, furnace, whole home humidifier, and smart thermostat. The two installers were very professional and personable. They explained how the new system would work, went over the functions of the new thermostat and humidifier with me and cleaned up everything from the install.New system has been installed for almost a month now and it has worked flawlessly. With the recent cold weather the system has been able to reduce my propane usage by probably 85% which is fantastic considering how volatile the price of propane can be. The system just works so much better than the 20+ year old system it replaced.Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend ATS to anyone for any of their services offered.
