Nancy Wethy: If I could give them a negative experience I would. Drove over 2 hours to get glasses. Was told I could get them that day. At a few minutes after 4 I had a pair picked and they informed me that it 4pm was the deadline to be able to get them the same day. So I had to drive 2 hours back home and then another 2 back the next day to pick them up. The glasses started having issues after just a few months. They never emailed me my prescription like they were supposed to and when I called to get it they said policy changed and now they can no longer email the prescription’s. Horrible experience with cheaply made glasses. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone!!

Debbie Donnell: Dr Hecox has been my optometrist since 1998 and would never change. He understands my complicated vision needs and explains clearly his recommendations and my condition. Highly recommend he takes care of your eyes too!
Trina Simms: I wouldn't even give this place one star however in order to get a review you have to give at least one star. I made an appointment two weeks in advance I gave them my insurance policy number my phone number and my name when I got there for my appointment they let me know that they do not accept my insurance they actually just stopped taking it at the beginning of this year however they failed to call me and let me know this at any point before my appointment so I drove from Branson to Springfield for absolutely no reason and they were extremely rude on top of that.

Test Nkxtest: I had an appointment for a month. They waited until I got there on Saturday morning to tell me my insurance was inactive and did I "have another one to bill". If they had bothered to tell me at ANY point during that month that they had encountered a problem, there wouldn't have been a problem. It was immediately resolved with my HR department on Monday but now I'm stuck waiting for an appointment again. To make matters worse, the person who took my info on site seemed to be bothered that she had to check me in at all.

Flawless Painting and Flooring: Dr. William Hecox is very professional. I feel very lucky to have him as my optician. Highly recommend! There is no one better!

We waited for almost an hour with only one customer a head of me. she jumped at kept doing small talk with other customer too.i let her know we had a prescription called in for glasses. She said nothing on file. I looked at her screen it did not change.I was dressed rather poor since off work and you could tell she had a problem serving me from the beginning. I called my wife to verify to maybe get her to help me since another person is also saying it is there. My wife spoke to a guy here and she heard conversation and said,"there ain't no guy." Who speaks to a customer like this. I then got iritated and let her have it. I gave my name and she never typed it in either. She took almost an hour to find out if the place she works for took the ladies insurance then just kept talking to her. She also cussed me in front of my daughter. You should never pretend to serve them. I am still shaking that a lady would act like her. I have medaid and was treated poorly.

PS I love Dr. Tran, and I suggest going to her clinic Queen City Eye Care where they are up to date with common practice laws. She actually caught a rare disease I have and referred me to a retinal specialist and saved my eyes. She’s the best! But the staff is below her and uneducated. Go to her private practice. Plus it’s the same if not better price than Walmart.

Dorothy Merideth: I have had my eyes examined by Dr. Hecox for at least 15 years and have never had any problems whatsoever. He is a great doctor and very thorough. I just recently got new glasses and was having so many issues with them that Dr. Hecox rechecked my eyes and I ended up getting new glasses at no expense to me and have been so happy. I do not plan on going to any other eye doctor for my eye exams.

Didn't try to force any up sells on me either like usual eyeglass fitters do. My only negative comment would be that it's hard to schedule a close appointment... sometimes next appt is 1-2 weeks out.

Just loved how the lady spoke to us, “ that is our final word on the matter” and “ like I said twice now” are great examples of some A+ customer service you get here.Glad that LensCrafters would take us and assist us with any problems we have.

Placing my order took over an hour on the phone. I was told they would be ready in two weeks. I called back two weeks later, and the order was never placed. I was told to wait another two weeks. I called back and was told the first order was actually placed, but had an extended backorder with an unknown ETA. I cancelled my order and bought my contacts elsewhere. I will not be returning or recommending VisionWorks to anyone.

When it was my turn that lady called me to sit next to her while still processing this customer. I spent another 20 minutes in her chair while people who came after me received faster service. I don't understand how incompetent you should be to have 0 perception of your efficiency and time you need to finish your paperwork.

I have dealt with a guy name Kyle twice and the first time I did, it seemed like he didn’t want to help with assisting me so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and told myself that maybe he is having a bad day. I went in today and he was there and he acted the same way. Not friendly and very poor customer service. Makes me not want to go back at all.

Chris Swearingin: I just got back from the walmart vision dept on Sunshine (3/9/21). I had bought my glasses from there a while back, went in to get an adjustment because the screw had popped out holding in the lense. A lady who looked as though she was manning the store by herself (it was about 6:20 pm, they close at 7), probably 35-45, dark hair (didn't catch her name), seemed uniquely disinterested in assisting me. She kept arguing with me that she couldn't fix the arm that had disconnected from the main glasses, and over and over I had to tell her that was NOT what I was wanting her to fix, but just adjust them and put the screw holding the lense back in. She seemed frustrated to have to do her job, finally did though. I asked about buying replacement frames (which I had done before), but she was not interested in finding if they had them in stock. I also asked about making an appointment to just get new glasses, but she seemed like I was annoying her trying to be a customer and had better things to do. I'll make an appointment for new exam and glasses tomorrow at another eye center. This lady should not be in her position, perhaps made a stocker or cashier, because she oozed an attitude she was not interested in her job at the eye deparment.

The exam cost half of what I expected to spend.Dr. Curtis was kind and efficient, as were the other 3 employees. They spoke to me and everyone else there respectfully and were extremely helpful. The glasses came slanted forward at about a noticeable 15 degree angle.and when I tried to straighten them the screw popped and the lense fell out and scratched. I had insurance and I still paid $300 (glasses, lenses, and contacts.) the most expensive item were the lenses. 🙄Now It’s time to see how their customer service is.

Dominic Martello: I have tried to call 4 different Walmart optical and none of them answer. They just let the phone ring and ignore it. I went so far as to call the Walmart optical while standing in front of there entry way and watched employees ignore the phone and continue there conversations. There work ethic is pathetic.
Scott Dunsmuir: Showed up a few minutes early to fill out new patient forms. My insurance was already taken care of when I had called to schedule an appointment the day before. No optometrist on Wednesdays. Eye checks and eye exam done quickly & efficiently. Descent selection of frames to choose from in varying price ranges. Chose Wal-Mart for glasses because they actually had prescription safety frames I could try on where other vision places Ive been too did not. Only draw back is there is no door front is open to the main store. A little weird filling out paper work with your back to the supercenter cash registers.

Debra Rogers: The people were absolutely rude. They did not give me a actual eye exam. But if I paid extra, I could get a full eye exam. The eye doctor herself, wasn't a nice person. Kept telling her I could read it if I squint. With her machine Infront of my eyes. She burnt my eye, like sun and a magnifying glass to an ant. She acted like she did nothing wrong. Don't go to the one in Springfield Missouri, they are not there to help you.

They shouldn't be able to say they are any kind of best..This is my one year sober date and two years since my boyfriend died suddenly in a motor vehicle accident. I owned Sunny's hair harbor, before moving on to homeschool my kids and be a stay at home mom, and I was five stars because I actually cared about people, loved my neighbors and believed in customer care....I've been through too much to let these people get the best of me. I'm choosing to walk away. And I strongly suggest other people do the same. If they are wearing on your humility and patience, walk away, it's not worth it

Kristen Davis: My fiancé and I just picked up our new glasses! This is a first time for me. I've never had to have glasses before now. My fiancé has most of his life. Our eye exam appointment was 2 weeks ago. They had us do a virtual exam with an eye doctor. I wasn't sure how this would work but trusted the process. I was so pleasantly surprised! The technician did all the physical work and then the eye doctor asked me questions and looked over the results. I do this this way of doing things was very efficient. I will be using them forever from now on! I'm in love with my glasses and the customer service. The selection of frames and options were very clear and super reasonable. I just can't say enough good things, can I? Highly recommended from my family to yours!
