Brenda Di Santi: We went here for our Anniversary and first time. We had Prime Rib & Fillet- both came barely warm although meat was tender. Filled was to be topped with Mushrooms and they were missing. Usually Filet is finished with butter..this was very plain. Bread was served with margarine & not real butter. We expected at least real butter. Salad was good. Bread average. Dessert was Creme Brulee & was good except the raspberry sauce was on a plare & the bowl set on top of sauce so hard to get at...made no sense. Decided we'll go across the street to Avanzare next yime.

Paige Varney: My husband and I were trying to treat his mom while she was visiting from out of state. We’ve been to Jimm’s for special occasions, but only a handful of times; we do enjoy it. We chose a weekday to go have dinner and there was already a waitlist, so we made a reservation for 45 minutes out. When we came back, there was a line of people and we waited patiently until we could claim our table. It was crowded and so to save space, my mother-in-law and I waited at the front door and my husband stood in line.He overheard a trio of people tell the host that they wanted a table for three and immediately sat them. When my husband got to the host, he was told it would be an additional 30 minutes. My husband countered the host by asking about the table of three that had just been sat and how we had a reservation for this exact time. When asked about our crossed out name on the list, they said they didn’t know what happened (there were three people at the host stand and one of them appeared to be a manager, which is the one that responded).We felt judged for what we were wearing and what we looked like. They weren’t apologetic and came off sour about the whole thing. Like I said earlier, we had been to Jimm’s before for special occasions, so we knew what to expect. We did not, however, expect this kind of experience.For every good review, there’s at least 10 bad ones. I’ve never had an issue with Jimm’s in the past and I do have to say that they have a great salad bar and steak. However, I’m super disappointed and put off by this encounter and will not be returning. If you want to eat there, you better look your best.

Aaron Emily: Let me start off by saying that this is constructive criticism and I am not angry or upset in any way. Visited with my wife and we both got the salad bar, and we both got a burger with fries. The salad bar was great, minus the brown lettuce all in the lettuce bowl. Our burgers on the other hand were not good. We both ordered medium-well burgers. They came out over cooked and dry. We had to use ketchup to make it palatable. The fries were undercook, limp, and had no crunch, we didn't finish the fries. Our waitress did a fine job, but never asked us how our meal was to give it critique. The atmosphere wasn't that great. It was really dark and hard to see. We saw a man literally calling out for his party's because he couldn't see them, even know they were 4 tables away. Overall a 3 star experience. We will give them another try in the future.

Paige Lee: We used to go here all the time, but after our last visit, I don’t think we will be back.I ordered one of the most expensive items on the menu that was like a sampler. Nothing was said to me when I ordered it. When the food came out, it was missing 2 of the 5 items. When I asked about it they told me there were out of the other two items. I asked if the price would be adjusted and was told I just received extra of the 3 things I got, even though I didn’t. When I pulled up the menu because they wouldn’t bring one so I could show them, the manager was very hateful and said in a nasty tone “well what do you want me to do about it?” At this point I have been trying to talk to them about it for 20 minutes and my food was completely cold. The manager spent the entire time trying to gaslight me when I had the menu pulled up on my phone.By the time we got it resolved so that I wasn’t paying for food I didn’t get, everyone else was done eating, so I left my own birthday dinner without even eating.This was far from the only problem we experienced. Our waiter just kept disappearing and not getting drinks or bringing out our food when it was ready so all 6 meals we got were cold and they completely disregarded what we told them when we notified them that someone had an allergy so they had an allergic reaction. We had eaten here many times and never had a problem with accommodating this particular allergy.Vegetarian options: It is apparently not a big deal if meat products end up in a vegan dish, that is listed as vegan and they will still charge for a dish that can’t be eaten.Dietary restrictions: Disregarded allergies they were told about multiple times in person and on the reservation.
Sara Slayton: My sister and I tried to go there a few days ago for her birthday dinner. We were one of three groups in the restaurant and they sat us at the only table sitting directly in the sun. There were tables on either side of us, so we got up and moved to the table that was right next to ours. The server was right behind us, and we mentioned that the sun was in our eyes, and he seemed fine with us moving. He gave us waters and said the server would be right with us.We sat for close to 30 minutes with no service. Servers kept passing us, making eye contact, and continuing to walk by. I completely understand that we should have asked to move before doing so. However, to be refused service because of something so miniscule is despicable.

Sonya Trantham: We made a reservation for 930am. We got there on time and was seated. 11 minutes later our waiter came to the table. By then we ordered our drinks and food because we had plenty of time to look at the menu. We got our drinks 15 minutes later. At 10:45 we finally got are food. The food was cold and not edible. It had to have sat in the window for at least 15 minutes before he brought it to us. We asked for a manager, 10 minutes later we explained what happened. We paid for our drinks and left. We will never go back.

The pulled pork sandwich with slaw on top and cheesy corn on the side was good.I was there around 2PM and was greeted right away and had my order taken shortly after.However, I had to listen to two young ladies who apparently worked there and might have been sisters argue, fight and throw cups at one another. To top it off, the youngest (around 10-12) served me my food which I could be wrong but she probably doesn’t have a food permit. If not for these two, the atmosphere would have been pleasant.

Brian Bennington: We stopped in because of the great reviews and this place did not disappoint. You ordered cafeteria style at the counter and then they called your name. My sone got the burnt ends which were quite tasty. I got the brisket with green beans and baked beans which was quite good. Their sauce selection was excellent also. C.J. Flanery: Front staff said they were out of there most popular products but she was fidgeting with her phone while working with our order. Next I complained that their was cheese in the sausage they said it came that must mean they do not make that product. Kat Stanton: My food didn't last long enough to get pics, but OH MY GOD! I adored the atmosphere, our server was very helpful and friendly, and the FOOD! Mom and I came here for a late lunch/ early dinner. Scotch eggs for an appetizer, then fish and chips with mushy peas for dinner. I've never tried scotch eggs or mushy peas, but I'm glad I did. Cozy little place with a nice atmosphere.

The Chef’s View: When it comes to Farm to Table nobody does it better than Chef Andy Hampshire and his team. They think off the beaten path and use as much local as possible. They truly care about sourcing local and only using the best products. The cooking techniques are by far some of the most advanced in the area and no detail is too small for them. They have an amazing selection of craft beers and a fun and adventurous ever changing menu. They have their staples but change the menu seasonally. From local eggs, to seasonal local produce and international foods that rotate in and out of the specials menu, you are sure to be pleased. It truly touches my heart when chefs use local, and there is absolutely no way to beat an ingredient that comes from your local region. My hat goes off to you Farmers Gastropub!!!

Dining on the patio was a nice way to avoid the noise inside the restaurant (they were busy, but we were seated right away).
