Progress: what do users think?
Carissa Purdy: Consistently rude front end staff. First time we went it was oddly empty and both wait and host staff created an awkward and unwelcome atmosphere. Assuming one bad experience would be atypical, we tried again only to experience rude front end staff again. Not worth our time and the frustration. It is in poor taste to treat guests like they are nuisances.
Keith&Kelly Clark: We are so in awe. And so disappointed that Progress is closing the doors on June 30. Be sure to get there before then!!!! The fennel salad was this crazy delicious blend of fennel, orange and dried salty olives. The leeks were topped with a salty pepita mix that was out of this world. The steak melted in our mouths and the gnocchi bolognese was so flavorful! To be balanced I have to say that the gnocchis were not the fluffy little pillows I had in Italy. But the dish was still so yummy! Just cannot sat enough good things about this food. And our server, Grace, was so knowledgeable and attentive. The Cab Sauvignon and CA red blend were both delightful. Do it quick! Before it is only a legend.
Autumn Sharp: Exceptional food, service, and experience
L T: My family brought me to progress for Mothers Day. It was hopping, and we were glad we had reservations as they cut off any further customers at 12 due to the volume. We were very disappointed to find out that they were out of half the menu. Leaving only one app option and the main courses we wanted were also unavailable. That wasn't the biggest issue, however. During our meals , we were treated to the most ridiculously inappropriate and explicit playlist playing loudly for everyone to hear. Most families were there with their children. Young and old and got to listen to Doja Cats "kiss me more".Super cool listening to her sing about wanting to"F@#k" something with your kids. There were several songs like this. When brought attention to the fact that there were families with young children, the staff said they didn't control the music. It was apparent that more than a few people were like "WTH is playing".I think coupled with the lack of items available, this has to be considered a less than average experience.Vegetarian options: Avocado toast
Bree: I really like Progress and have always had a nice experience here. However, today we walked in for breakfast and were told there was no more seating for walk ins or Reservations due to it being Mothers Day weekend. This is fine and understandable. But the hostess was very rude when telling us this and I felt like she had a "sorry, not sorry" attitude. Very disappointed with this interaction. Even my 13 year old son picked up on the negative vibe we received.
Randy Henderson: Called a week in advance to get a reservation for Mothers Day brunch. Calls go to voicemail. So left a voicemail explaining what we wanted, and also emailed the supplied address.Having not heard Monday, I tried again. Tuesday I tried again. Wednesday I made a special trip to the restaurant, only to be told they were full. I told them of my attempts to contact them, their answer was "Not sure what happened. Sorry."Maybe its good food, but it sure is poorly organized.
Michael Jones: Hands down the best dining experience in Springfield, without question.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
TacoTuesday MeatLoaf: The atmosphere and drinks were amazing! And there "dinner burger" is outstanding!! However, their octopus was HORRIBLY fishy tasting and just not good at all. Don't get me wrong, I love octopus! But I ate it on the west coast! Don't expect sea food in the middle of the USA to be good, cuz it never will be lol
Anna Y: Loved it! ☆☆☆☆☆Food, atmosphere, and service are outstanding. Love that it is locally grown! Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Ally: I ordered the taste of progress and being a foodie thought I would love it all. Sadly I only enjoyed the biscuits.. the salads were weird and I can't say any of it was good. The octopus was covered in a black sauce that was just gross. I would go back to try other things but so far what I tried was not worth the 130 dollars in any way.
Jacob Funke: Love this place for brunch! Spicy blood Mary is a must! As are the donut holes. My entree was the Brunchwrap Supreme that was truly outstanding. Great services as well.
Josh Garrett: Had the Taste of Progress tasting menu. After reading every dish's description, I thought, I'm not gonna love that. I was pleasantly surprised every time. Super creative and delicious throughout. Service was awesome. This place is now one of my favorites in Springfield.

Max Grimes: Had an absolutely stunning meal here for an anniversary. Our server Hope was very knowledgeable about the menu, knew exactly how to pair drinks with our food, and was incredibly pleasant the entire evening. We had the butternut squash per Hope’s recommendation and it was fantastic, you won’t find another dish like it you simply MUST go in to try it. The steak tartare was our other appetizer and it made the tartare I had from flame the other week look drab by comparison. Our mains (chicken and pork) were among the best either of us have had in recent memory, and they were paired excellently with a Spanish white wine (thanks again hope for the rec). All in all, one of my favorite meals I have ever had experienced, and certainly the best dining experience I have had in the SGF area. If you only have one night out in Springfield, make sure it’s at progress.Vegetarian options: They have an entire section of the menu dedicated to vegetables. Vegetarians will be in heaven.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps from the parking lot to the front entrance and a flat floor plan made the restaurant very wheelchair accessible.
dreamsava: Pure delicious art. The best cauliflower dish I’ve ever had. Food bliss ❤️🧚
Niki Driggers: The menu is seasonal so if you want to try something specific from the current menu go sooner rather than later. The food is absolutely amazing. I had a salad as an appetizer that was all new ingredients to me and I loved every part of it.If you like to explore foods Progress is definitely a place to go.Vegetarian options: They do have vegetarian options. Most are salads but they do have a Main that is also vegetarian.
G Fleck: Outstanding as usual. Hope knew all but one menu selection with great detail. She provided expert suggestions as we wanted to share and enjoy multiple items. Brought two out of town newbies here. All were absolutely delighted with the experience.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Thomas Hunt: Springfield's finest dining experience! Eat the carrots, then eat some other stuff! Everything is great!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Nicolas Wilson: Arrived and was greeted by friendly hosts. The restaurant had a decent ambience to it. Our server was nice and did a good job. Ordered the Naan appetizer, a couple drinks, and the prime dry-aged steak. The Naan was okay. The drink was really good. The steak me and my girlfriend ordered medium rare. The food took quite awhile to Arrive with a slightly odd and unique side of broccoli and a sauce pairing. Both of our steaks were cooked well done. We let the server know and she had it redone in the kitchen. Ended up waiting another 30 or so minutes. The steak was what I'd expect an average 25 dollar steak to taste like but this was over twice as much at 52 dollars. I don't dislike the people or the food, but the pricing is too high for what you get here. There are not many options to select from for entrees or starters. I spent 152 for me and my girlfriend before tip. There are simply much better options in Springfield to spend your money at that doesn't feel like an incomplete experience.
Bryan Haile (Ouroboros0): One of the better dining experiences I’ve had in Springfield.

D'Vine Deli & Wine: what do users think?
Xacto Nyuk: The owner is terrible, takes his frustrations out on his employees and if they stand up for themselves he fires them for "attitude problems". As a employee with known heart problems and can only work so much, I was purposefully stuck with 11 hour shifts and put in stressful situations. Please don't support this business.
Phil Phillips: Wow! Fist time here. Excellent flavors!
Trey Felton: Really enjoyed this place, great atmosphere, friendly staff, fresh food. I look forward to trying more!
JoJo Hudgings: This place was absolutely wonderful! She served us a custom prepared Charcuterie board paired with a bottle of wine! The service was phenomenal! 10/10 would come again. Great place to hang out with the girls!
alissa trice: Really great sandwich prices!
Chef- Daniel Oawster: Always amazing food, service, and wine!you can't go wrong!
Brandon McGrath: Authentic food, the lobster roll was fresh and the sauce was mouth watering. I both loved and appreciated the change of pace from your typical sandwich shops.
Chance LaBoube: Great food, great environment, definitely would recommend!
Matthew Tuesburg: Had the lobster roll and gyro from here, food was amazing and felt like a authentic east coast deli. Owner was a super cool and had great suggestions. Will come back again.
Jay Haynes: Best lobster roll this side of Boston
L T: Great lobster roll!
Melissa: Such a good place will be back!
Lolita Ramsey: We ordered a few things and loved them all, The Very Berry Salad was super fresh and light. The Lobster Roll was delicious. The Gryo was so good we order a second one. The best Gryo in town! The Beef and Cheddar was also a big favorite, I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order here.
J phunk punk: I kept seeing people talk about this place. I got a roast beef and cheddar sandwich for lunch. It was really good, and a huge sandwich. I just got the sando. I'm going to try some wine the next time I'm there with my BFF.
Megan Schiller: A muffaletta every bit as good as in New Orleans
Angela Bougher: Great Food I finally found a good Italian Beef.
Cade Libertoski: Best place in Springfield! I can't say enough great things about D'vine, the best food in Springfield not one bad item is on their menu, so try everything! Also the most friendly and gracious staff i've ever met. You have to come here!! You'll leave already planning your next visit.
Betty Hargreaves: Highly recommend
Steve Eudaly: First time in, came for the evening tapas. Well prepared food, exciting and satisfying flavors, all in a cozy atmosphere. Very friendly and attentive staff who went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our visit, even when they were busy. Excited to come back for a deli sandwich or to share a charcuterie board over some wine.
Stephanie Lynch: Great value
Danielle: This is such a great place to meet a group of friends right after work. I really also like the wine card option so that you can help yourself and try different ones out! When I went, the owner was great about letting me try small pieces of meat and cheese before I ordered! Much appreciated so that I didn’t waste money on something my tastebuds wouldn’t have liked.
