One man gave me bad advice and almost blew out my transmission seals, a week later had another find the problem and told me exactly how to address it. Atleast I can get the part I need, although the prices on ebay is higher that it would have been if in stock. Although I would have had a warranty from a part store. I don't think you get this with ebay.

Cody Walker: It is a cold, icy day today. Schools all around the area are closed. Even Missouri State University is closed and they don't close for anything! My wife had to go to work and she was excited to find that they were closing early. That is, until she found out that her car wouldn't start. The cold had killed what remained of her battery. I live across town and I have two kids. Our road is a sheet of ice. I couldn't get out of the house to help but Advance Auto Parts was just down the road from her. I gave them a call and someone drove her, jumped her car, and led her back to their store so she could get a new battery. They were infinitely kind and bent over backwards to help us out. I felt horrible for asking them to jump her car but they didn't think a thing about it. I cannot praise them enough for how kind they were today.

However the battery was easily accessible. He came inside and another employee said they can't change a hybrid battery. I said it's just a regular battery but he said the company policy is that they can't change it.

All without my having asked them to—they just did it voluntarily. That NEVER happens ANYWHERE. Love my neighborhood Auto Zone!

Aaron Kemp: Tried to return brake pads, because they told me they were for my vehicle. They were wrong. I needed brake shoes my debit card got compromised so I can’t do a refund onto the card. Only option I had was gift card I have nothing to buy here and will take my business some where else . Wouldn’t do a cash refund and was told to go back to the original store I bought them at. That is poor customer service.Stick to auto zone.
Lance Larkin: Went to get a Jack, was recommended the 3-ton jack. It was pretty expensive so I said maybe not. One guy mentioned they would price match harbor freight. I went onto their site and seen a similar jack going for 100 less. Manager said they wouldn't price match since harbor freight wasn't even competition. So yall lost business to a store thats not even considered competition I guess! Bought the jack, stands and rubber wheel stops for less than the jack at orileys...

The part I needed was actually less than $7.

The employee offered to put the new cap on for me when he started to put the new cap on he found my original cap it was in a spot that I would not have been able to see it. He offered and did do a refund for me. $9.00 is not a lot to most folks, however to some of us it is the price of a days worth of meals. Still get to pick on my son-in-law for forgetting to put it back on. Thanks again for being a blessing for me today.

The Starling: I have never had a bad experience at O'Reilly's in my entire life. I've always found kindness here. Never once felt judged and the employees have always gone above and beyond to help me, a fact for which I am extremely grateful. I'm sorry I haven't taken the time to write those reviews. Today I had a terrible experience with a manager here. She was rude and callous and I left crying. My grandma died this week. I am a delivery driver and it was raining heavily tonight. I almost had a wreck earlier in the evening. On one of my deliveries I noticed my headlight was out. All of the Walmarts are out of this bulb and I am behind on my bills. I don't have anyone to rely on but myself. I need this manager to know, as a manager myself, that sometimes policies need to be broken or bent for the customer, especially ones who return often when they need a little help and, to be honest, care and kindness. I didn't get that today and I still have to work without a bulb tonight. All I wanted to do was try the new bulb out after buying it and make sure it worked before driving off but she said I couldn't because it was an electrical item, that once I plugged it in I couldn't bring it back inside for a refund. I wanted to do this because I can't afford to shell out 14 dollars for nothing right now. She was hateful as all get out. I won't be back to this location. I also need her to know that you never know who's day you might change with a little kindness and that sometimes being a rude hateful jerk can change a person's whole day, too, and not for the better. This has been a really tough year for so many people and kindness is free.

We could not get the high to work just shuts off. Tried to return it, the ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE employee said we cannot return because we used it. We tried to use it but it didn't work. Buy from AMAZON FOLKS. 30 DAYS NO QUESTIONS ASKED. If you enforce the policy you have to provide customers with the policy. Filed complaint with BBB.

Hedfra Productions LLC: BEWARE AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE and CARE:My son bought a new motor for his electric windows. We put it on and it did not work. He took it back in the box with a receipt. Butch would not take it back. How do we know the 170.00 part was not faulty. I followed up and talked to Butch he was very arrogant and condescending. So now we are stuck with a 170.00 part that does not work. I got from Butch that O:Reilly's really does not trust their customers and we are scammers. Who wants to do business with a company like this. AutoZone said they absolutely would take it back. I suggest AutoZone or the internet. O'Reilly's made it clear to me they could careless.

Heather Tolsma: Being far from home, this O'Reilly's, having had to drive 2.4 miles from my hotel to get to them has given me more focused customer service and gone considerably more above and beyond to help me get what I need than, unfortunately, the other of the same name right around the corner from my hotel.
