Nathan P Murphy's: what do users think?
Preston Shepherd: This place I feel like is racist we have had multiple people from are groups asking if we can hold YMCM concerts there and even local artists in Springfield has been turned down so my ratings going to have to be 2 stars and the only reason I'm doing that is cuz they do poetry witch I dont understand why they dont do rap or hip hop if they do poetry so again its ran bye some old racist white people ......!!!!!!!!!
Kim Kirby: Had so much fun! I didn't know anything about this place except the name but there was singing, dancing, comedy, all locals dressing up and doing what they love and making us love it too! You have to go at least once, if not every weekend!!
Coahomma !: This place is so gorgeous and has amazing bartenders! The owners were warm and very friendly. Very cool
Doneau Probst: Love this place. Staff friendly and drinks reasonably priced. Great variety if entertainment.
John Probst: Providing the best intertainment in Springfield since 1982. Never disappoints! Celebrating it's 40th anniversary this month!
andromeda 3: This bar has a poetry slam the last weekend of every month and it's an absolutely wonderful time! It's called "show me poetry" and you can find the details on Facebook!
Melissa Forester: Nice relaxing little bat
Joshua Lewis: Actually was a great time no food but service and drinks are good fair pricing and the shows they put on are entertaining
Charles Harriss: I LOVE going to Nathan P Murphy's! Great service, awesome entertainment, and a very welcoming atmosphere
TK Esthetics, LLC: We had a great time at the Tinsel and Tatas show!
Abby Normal: Awsome time at the review show
Jake Young: I'd rate it 5 stars of they'd actually stock the bar with the things they need to make the drinks people want. I will never understand bars that don't stock like REAL bars. Come on, Nathan. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF! That being said, the bartenders are an awesome, kind, and friendly bunch and I'm glad this place hosts so many events that foster a re-emergence of our creative community.
Junior Samples: Nice bar on the square
Justin Vann: It's a great venue, but a less than stellar bar. By that I mean that they have wonderful acts and a good stage and set up and lay out for your entertainment, but the bar facilities need an update in a bad way. Soda is poured from 2 liter bottles instead of a bar tap and the selection seems mediocre. That said I always enjoy my visits and the staff is attentive and friendly. High marks there. They also need to get their HVAC situation fixed. It seems like half the times I've gone wetter the heat or AC have been out. In some ways it adds to the charm if you like a little suffering with your drinking and entertainment. It's quaint and authentic feeling ok give them that. A bit of investment in the building, bar, and signage and it could easily be top notch. Either way I enjoy every visit and it's a great place for local and community based entertainment. I hope lots of people come and they get enough business to fix things up a bit.
tofu seaweed: Grave tales is amazing there, the atmosphere is awesome
Blyss Bryant: The drinks are always amazing and reasonably priced and the atmosphere is great.
Derik Sharp: Support your local artists and go here
Gene Rachinsky: Great venue for shows, entertainment and fun
Ren Bostian: Cool atmosphere. Everyone was nice and professional. Affordable drinks.
Maya Personne: All I can say about Nathan P Murphy'sis Bob Martin has always been fair to me when I have performed &or booked bands there at various times throughout the last 25 years.=MP=P.s. Wanda is a fantastic & friendly bartender who always has a smile on her face.
Geoffrey Bricker: Great atmosphere and music venue.

SBC's The Cellar: what do users think?
Jessica Davis: Great place to hang out. They have several flavors of their own brew of beer. The food was really good too. Its a very dow to earth place to chill. Even kid friendly as well as supportive to other locals.
Joan banks: Went to see Machine Head as it was a change in venue from the outland ballroom
Cirt Yancy: Great staff, cool atmosphere, the band was amazing! Definitely recommend!!
Dominick Villapiano (Cowboy or Meatman): I was there about you in the afternoon n and one of the managers invited us to see a special show, they had for a worker there. And we got a atch n take part in a birthday spanking lol. It was inter sting n funplace a very detailed into it kind of staff n who gave us an overview close up of how it handles a large party with a small crowd.
Mike Ballard: Clean, not over crowded, good acoustics, food was good and reasonably priced. Loved the CCR review.
Melody Marlay: This bar is a standing only place. They have very limited seating at the back of the bar. It reminded me of bars that I have been to in LA where you're stuck standing all night and the music is so loud you can't even breathe. I do not recommend.
Thomas Cusick: Awesome!
D “StinkyThumbz” Z: Love this place, great staff tasty food. Great music venue.
Erin Renee: I really love how open this venue is! Drinks were a good price too. Could use more bathrooms.
Gregory Frazier: SBC's The Cellar is the live music venue we've needed for a long time. And while it's all about the music at this downtown Spfd club, Cellar also features SBC brews and genuinely fantastic food that isn't your standard bar fare that's become a hallmark of the space - the beef brisket "KC Dilla" is the best quesadilla I've ever had. "Eclectic" would best describe the artists/bands booked at Cellar - Go by any given night they're open and you're going to hear some great music - return the following night and you'll hear something equally groovy, but completely different. Truly a breath of fresh air.Great music, great food/drink and great staff.
Chris Coffman: Great music venue with good food & libations!
Todd Kirkpatrick: Awesome little place to see live music. I loved it.
Mike Erbe: Great music, good people, good drinks, they also have an outside smoking area. This place gets a thumbs 👍 up from me!!
Brandon Hughes: A cover charge is a guaranteed way to make sure I avoid a place, and theirs was $10. Nice atmosphere, good band, drinks are a little pricey but they are good. That said, it's worth noting they only sell their own products. If you want a PRB or Budweiser they won't have it. SBC does have a great beers, I highly recommend their products, but I can get them at the restaurant next door. If I'm going out for the night, I'll go to any of the other bars downtown. Preferably somewhere that lets me in for free, 3 friends bailed before we even went in just to avoid paying the extra $10. If I'm going to waste money it may as well be on more drinks with my friends, not some stupid fee at the door.
John Reif: Great place and friendly staff!
Heather Carpenter: The customer service was 10 stars. It’s not often you can feel the employees serving you are happy to be doing their job, and it says a lot about how great this place is! The music and drinks were also great. I had a fantastic experience.
B Hughs: Cool place to see bands. Dance floor and plenty of room to roam if you want to. The food is some of the best I've had downtown. Creative and flavorful. Its kind of a self serve bar where you order drinks and food at the bar then take back to your table. They do bring your food to you and were really good about cleaning off the tables. Great staff! You won't be disappointed here. Going back Sunday night for jam session.
Meghan Asher (Claritii): Great music, good food and good people!
Comestible Curmudgeon: Great venue for local artists. Delicious food and house beverages. Lija Fonner and the Flower Power were fabulous!
Osiris Ayise: Nice place, friendly patrons, went there to celebrate my 50th birthday with some friends and had a great time. Will return
Tim Slocum: Great local beers paired with fantastic entertainment Patty Steel band was out of this world!!!

Ernie Biggs: what do users think?
Mitchell Aguilar: Very fun
Jacob Carroll: Absolutely awesome experience energy is electric!! And will leave you with no voice after singing and dancing all night!! Sweet!!!!
Dianne Cook: It was our first time and fun and definitely interesting. We left when the bathroom went out
David Selby: We have been here on and off over the last 12 years. The bar management has always been as good as you can ask for in a place that draws such an awesome crowd every night. Dueling pianos is a special thing, so if you have never seen it, check it out. 100% recommend the experience, and I 100% recommend the bar. They do a great job at SGF Ernie Biggs.
Travis Jones: Nice place to go have a few drinks and listen to some live music
Timothy Christensen: Great atmosphere good place to have a drink and listen to some great (loud) music. The drinks are well poured and always a great evening.
Travis Abbott: Had a great time, we will definitely be back!
Michelle Lutz: Fun time! Drinks were good and the piano players were awesome
Shilo Snavely: Came into town to celebrate daughter's birthday and decided to come here. Fun little bar. Lots of energy. Staff was nice.
spencer wittenborn: Best Ska punk show ever!!! Ernie Biggs has the hookup to live music, even on a Thursday!
Rick Orr: This place is a blast! Friendly bar staff, hilarious and talented pianist's. While not always the busiest place in beautiful Downtown Springfield, the staff at Ernie Biggs will make you feel comfortable and make you laugh all night long.
Martin Adames: Awesome place to hangout and have a great time I totally recommend to visit
Kody Mendoza: No dueling pianos 😐
Shelly MacBean: A great place for a nite out with friends!
Mason: Very organized New Year’s Eve dueling pianos with extremely fast service and no lines. Thank you for everything!
Seth Black: BARTENDER KNOWINGLY SERVES WRONG BEER. Being here new year's eve, the bartender wearing the grey sweater and red shirt, taller blonde girl will serve you the wrong beer and not tell you. Asked for boulevard wheat, and wasn’t later from a more honest waiter that its just blue moon. Is it petty? Yes. But I just wish she just would have told me its blue moon instead, it’s just a werid hill to be dishonest about.
Scott Burns: Went there expecting, "dueling pianos".. they had a regular band...(a bit louder than, I like) .. service was quick, prices reasonable.
Ashley F: Great piano bar. I really enjoyed myself.
Bo Do: Front security said I needed 5 bucks to enter and when I came back with said 5 bucks he then asked me to show my id, my id is tribal that IS federally recognized so I showed that to him but he insisted it isn’t and turned me away. That guy legit stole my 5 bucks
Michelle Beard: One of the Best Nights Ever ...Celebrating Our College Grad♥️♥️♥️Both Grandmas Enjoyed too♥️♥️♥️♥️
Brandi Potts: Nice bar! Listed to live music and it was great! Nice atmosphere. A lot of college kids due to it being downtown and close to the college. Fair pricing on drinks and tables were spaced out due to Covid restrictions.

Jill Miner: Caskey was amazing, the venue is small, allowing for a very personal experience. Loved it.

Vic Vaughan: Great venue. The band Souled Out is really good. Great music to dance to. We'll be back!
DeMarrio “Supa Mario” Lampkins: Very nice venue. The staff was great and helpful.
Troy Harris: One of the oddest venues I've ever been to. It looks like a normal venue, stage, few seats, open dance area, bar, and upper level. I started noticing people walk past the stage on the left side. I got adventurous and explored where they were going. It opens up to some pool tables and another seated area, with a door that opens up to a wide open space with corn hole and basketball games, with a door that opens up to another bar area, with a door that opens up to another wide open space. I would have explored it but by this time my legs were tired and I just wanted a beer.
Barry Rhodes: Very nice venue and Taj was amazing to see. Staff are super friendly and helpful
Shaggy Fleming: Such a great sounding room & lights are amazing ! Chayse & rest of staff were very friendly
Ben Karr: Nice small venue for shows
Jarrett Bank: A nice small venue. Spot on acoustics.Ideal joint for stage diving too. 😉
Janessa Crockett: Was AMAZING ! If you are looking for and event space that has a chill vibe,a party vibe or just a vibe period. The Riff is IT!
Mike Wall: Parrot Heads meet here!Great time, great music, great friends! Drink prices kinda expensive, but what isn't!
Jemmie Adkins: Rest rooms need work
Micki and GoGo: Really great place for a rave
Terri Andrews: I wish this place was bigger, but we had a great time. Papa Green Shoes rocked the house. We all had a lot of fun.
Richard Rodriguez: Always a calm environment and friendly staff that works their rearends off taking care of thwor patrons. My mom got a picture with Anthony Gomes. He is the best!!!!
Victoria Doyle: The artists put on a great show. The venue was small but intimate. Drinks were expensive. I would go back for the right show
Angelyn Stokes: They said they are going to start having more variety of food. I hope soWe had the beef sandwich. It was good but was way too expensive for what you got.

Club Rodeo: what do users think?
Shawn k: Had a blast for my sons 21st birthday. Music was on fire!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
mouad harbi: Nice place
Melanie: First time here on a Saturday night. So far, it’s a slow start. Not bad. Love the atmosphere here. Will be back again. Wish they had happy hour on Thursdays. Food is awesome too!!
DT: Great people, food and alcohol!!!!!
Kelvin: GREAT ATMOSPHERE AND PEOPLE.FIRST TIME THERE BUT NOT MY LAST..
trent dornan: Had a blast since I am 21 there where people that got me drinking
Digital Playground: Nice venue. Drinks were slightly pricy, but not too bad. It was fairly packed on a Saturday night. The club seemed to draw in more of a teeny bopper crowd, which wasn't really my scene.
Tristan Chavez: Currently here and sitting while in writing this.I’m coming from Texas and by far the worst experience from every country bar I’ve been to.To start off, the drinks are starting at $5 and up. (Beers, Wells/U Call It.) The bartender didn’t know what a blue Hawaiian was and she charged me .20 for pineapple and sprite. A cup of coke/Pepsi was $5.20.Second, the dance floor is always packed with people just standing around. We could not even do any of the line dances when they played. It would be nice if security or management would tell people to get off the dance floor if they’re not dancing.-Edit to reply to owner-Response from the owner: “The .20 is a cc service charge, and we’re a college bar that plays country. You can 2-step and line dance easily until 10:30. Then we throw a party until close. Just a heads up!”^- alright so is every country bar I’ve been to is near a major university. I don’t care about the music y’all play just tell people to get off if they’re not gonna utilize the dance floor. There’s plenty of space on the drink floor to stand around and chat with your friends. :)
AllyBear_ 360: If you don’t know line dances good luck, mostly country, when it’s anything else it’s still line dancing. No diversity and just disappointing. Came for the first time with some friends and we were truly disappointed.
Stacy S: I come from Cali where kids can't have good, wholesome fun without gangs and guns. This place was a Blast. Kids of every age, background, ethnicity coming together to dance the night away.
AJ’S WAY: Release the videos of me being jumped in your club. Or I will widely spread the footage I got from across the street. You guys days are counting…
Todd Webster: Good place to meet friends.
Darian Fultz: from Kansas City.. first time here last night and it was a blast! Good drinks and decent prices. Love the vibe and how crowded it can get. Gonna make this a stopping point!!
Secret Shopper: It was my first time coming here and it was just ok...I felt like I was just waiting for someone to fight..Mostly country music and lots of young people wearing next to nothing some girls need to have more self respect for themselves but it was alright if that's your thing. Needs more pool tables
MaDi M: Interesting place. Lots of synchronized dancing. Always fun.
Leah Martin: So much fun. Out server was awesome! Drake Milligan deserved a MUCH larger crowd.
Debbie Peavey: Drinks are DEFINITELY watered down😩
Tactical sweater: No shortage of thots.
Daniele Kolie: Definitely a younger crowd
Osherah Griffen: My first time here on Halloween weekend. The Atmosphere was diverse and so hype!! I love it and can't came wait to go back.
Nony Mous: Great place to go if you are underage. They will serve you no questions asked.

Sweet Boy's Neighborhood Bar: what do users think?
Jacob Maldonado Nofziger: pinball is free, beers are cheap, conversation is entertaining, staff is direct and generous, would recommend
Gunnar Gilbertson: Original menu, fun vibe, arcade machines in the back. Great place!
Dana Kessack: The bartender was cool, but she was limited by the owners inability to stock the bar. They didn't even have ingredients to make the drinks that I tried to order off of their drink menu. The bathroom was sketchy to say the least. FYI to the owners: it looks like maybe a can of paint and some cheap wall spackle would help a lot. When I did ask for a drink menu, the bartender had to peal the menus apart because they were stuck together. Gross! This place could have been really kind of neat had they used some soap and water every now and again, and if the bathrooms didn't look like maybe you might be the next victim for whatever goes on in this filthy room...you literally could let you imagine run free from how uncomfortable you feel in there. I am giving 2 stars and that is only because the bartender was nice and you could tell she was limited by the environment and the condition of the bar.
Daniel Larsson: Dive-style neighborhood bar with a patio, pinball and arcade games, and cheap beer as well as high end liquor. One of those places you just find yourself at and can't remember how you got there.
Joan Doss: This is a great bar for cheap drinks and free pinball. The few times I've been here it hasn't been too busy.
DeNae Moore: (Update: this review is from when they were know as scotch and soda. I haven’t been since the change. So I don’t know if this review matching the current menu)First time in Springfield. I saw this place after leaving a brewery. All my friends wished we had come here first so we could have drank more. I originally got the quick fix. Loved it! My friend got the Bella Morte. I liked it. She thinks it was the balsamic making it a bit bitter but I think she wasn't digging the basil. It tasted a little like celery juice. But it was such a cool summer vibe drink. I would get it again. We also go an appetizer of bread and honey. Great bread! Like the best biscuit you've ever had. The Salt and pepper on top was nice. Will be back for sure.
Rut Muñoz Aliaga: Chill vibes, great drinks
Travis Eastburn: Nice bartenders. Just a cool little spot down by the square to grab a drink.
Ruben Alonzo: Great place to day drink. Nice bartenders. Good drinks. Pinball is fun. When they get busy at night it's not really a place I want to be at just because it becomes more of a college bar, but if you're looking to daddy drink it's a pretty chill spot.
sam lawson: I’ll give them more stars whenever they fire that bald guy with the mustache. He’s always a jerk with a sense of leadership that plenty of management has assured me he doesn’t have. He’s tried to kick me out so many times for made up reasons, but management doesn’t allow him to do it. Why keep someone who’s going to harass a regular? Is he afraid I’m going to call him out for doing something wrong? Because that’s happened and he tried to ban me from the bar for calling out his mistake. Again, management has had my back, I just don’t know why they keep this guy.
Zach A: This is the bar you go to have some fun. Good drinks and friendly bartenders as well as being open longer hours than any other bar downtown. There's almost always a decent crowd and and they've got some good arcade games in the back if that's your thing.(original review was of Scotch & Soda that used to be at this location. Pictures are from there and I'll update them when I get the chance) Several truly unique drinks await you at this find locale. Huge selection of whiskey, scotch, and bourbon as well.
Michelle Kautz: Fun place!
Andrew Tveitnes: Great specials, selection, and music. The prices were similar to most college bars...Cheap! They had an old fridge behind the bar that had a neon light inside of it, which looked really cool when the bartenders opened it to get drinks. They also had the "mystery beer" special for $2. The "mystery beer" ended up being the grapefruit seltzer that my friend wanted. There was free pinball in the back and anime on the TV/projector. This place is an affordable good time.
Geoff klinkerfuss: Great place for meeting friends. Has nostalgia of what the entire square was like 30 years ago, and has Asteroids.
Ebony: Fun bar. Music was upbeat the crowd was decent.
Pearson Montgomery: Great selection of cheap beers
JC Ritzz: Lots of seating, a stocked bar, knowledgeable staff, and specials every day. The perfect place to start a night out in town.
Cara Keith Kerr: Cool atmosphere, awesome service and the arcade is rad!
Kevin Doty: Awesome a must stop
Super Charlie: Great pinball bar! They had open play while I was there. Good selection of craft draft beers with local focus. Great bar tender. Just a great experience.
Stefano Okafor: Great venue in downtown, I had a melon cocktail and it slapped quite intense. If they could work on anything, it's the restroom. It gets real dirty sometimes
