Jasmine Shanz: I love Martha’s! I always feel safe every time I go here, and the drinks are good! The only complaints is that last night when I went, the music was horrible. Half of the songs were stuff that me and my friends have never heard, and the transitions from one song to another was not good at all. The other complaint was that whenever I paid for my entry, I walked past the security not knowing Martha’s now scans as I haven’t been to this establishment in over a year and that is something very new, plus I did not see a scanner in sight. I only walked a few steps past the security guard and stopped a few feet away from him as I was waiting for my friends to pay and he shouted in the loudest, most rudest voice “hey” and pretty much drew unnecessary attention to the situation. I understand that it’s his job and that we are scanned for safety measures, but it was an honest mistake plus I was close enough to where he literally could have said “hey miss” in a normal tone rather than yelling at me like I’m a criminal and causing a scene. This honestly ruined my mood for the entire night as it was super embarrassing and now I’m kind of iffy on if I will return for a while. Other than the rude security and the music though, it was an okay time, and every other time I’ve been here had been amazing!
Odessa Clayton: The drinks were great but we came to see the shows as everyone else had too, except there was sooo many tall people in the front that everyone behind them couldn't see anything including the screen on the wall. Would be better if we could have enjoyed the entertainment. Left in 45 minutes.

Gregory Patton: Mix treats designated drivers well (free soda). The atmosphere is always pleasant and fun. Nice place to relax or go on show nights for a more energetic environment. Nicer alcohol type drinks are a bit pricey. Fairly standard on most other prices. The nights when it's quieter/less busy are relaxing after a hard day.

Dana Kessack: The bartender was cool, but she was limited by the owners inability to stock the bar. They didn't even have ingredients to make the drinks that I tried to order off of their drink menu. The bathroom was sketchy to say the least. FYI to the owners: it looks like maybe a can of paint and some cheap wall spackle would help a lot. When I did ask for a drink menu, the bartender had to peal the menus apart because they were stuck together. Gross! This place could have been really kind of neat had they used some soap and water every now and again, and if the bathrooms didn't look like maybe you might be the next victim for whatever goes on in this filthy room...you literally could let you imagine run free from how uncomfortable you feel in there. I am giving 2 stars and that is only because the bartender was nice and you could tell she was limited by the environment and the condition of the bar.
Daniel Larsson: Dive-style neighborhood bar with a patio, pinball and arcade games, and cheap beer as well as high end liquor. One of those places you just find yourself at and can't remember how you got there.

I saw this place after leaving a brewery. All my friends wished we had come here first so we could have drank more. I originally got the quick fix. Loved it! My friend got the Bella Morte. I liked it. She thinks it was the balsamic making it a bit bitter but I think she wasn't digging the basil. It tasted a little like celery juice. But it was such a cool summer vibe drink. I would get it again. We also go an appetizer of bread and honey. Great bread! Like the best biscuit you've ever had. The Salt and pepper on top was nice. Will be back for sure.

sam lawson: I’ll give them more stars whenever they fire that bald guy with the mustache. He’s always a jerk with a sense of leadership that plenty of management has assured me he doesn’t have. He’s tried to kick me out so many times for made up reasons, but management doesn’t allow him to do it. Why keep someone who’s going to harass a regular? Is he afraid I’m going to call him out for doing something wrong? Because that’s happened and he tried to ban me from the bar for calling out his mistake. Again, management has had my back, I just don’t know why they keep this guy.
Zach A: This is the bar you go to have some fun. Good drinks and friendly bartenders as well as being open longer hours than any other bar downtown. There's almost always a decent crowd and and they've got some good arcade games in the back if that's your thing.(original review was of Scotch & Soda that used to be at this location. Pictures are from there and I'll update them when I get the chance) Several truly unique drinks await you at this find locale. Huge selection of whiskey, scotch, and bourbon as well.

Andrew Tveitnes: Great specials, selection, and music. The prices were similar to most college bars...Cheap! They had an old fridge behind the bar that had a neon light inside of it, which looked really cool when the bartenders opened it to get drinks. They also had the "mystery beer" special for $2. The "mystery beer" ended up being the grapefruit seltzer that my friend wanted. There was free pinball in the back and anime on the TV/projector. This place is an affordable good time.

The drinks I had were good, but the bartender I had upstairs kept asking for tips AS he was making the drink. Like super unprofessional and annoying. I always tip my bartenders, so his behavior was unnecessary. He just kept going off about how his only main source of income is through tips. I hate being guilted into tipping when I’m just having a good time.
madeline webber: Love it as a place to go and dance, however it can be very hit or miss, sometimes the drinks are great, sometimes they really suck. Sometimes the bouncers are complete jerks and sometimes they are super nice. We mostly go here because there aren't very many others in our area.

Serenity Hates You: came here for my birthday party on friday night with my gfs and we were kicked out within 30mins of being inside without a reason. one of the bouncers stopped my friends and i while we were walking upstairs and told us we needed to leave immediately. i didn’t even get a chance to receive a refund and the staff was disrespectful to us because of the way we dressed and danced. the bouncers also watched as strangers recorded my friends and i dancing. mind you there was nobody else there besides another small birthday group and a couple old men. terrible terrible terrible service NEVER GO HERE THEY JUST WANT TO TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THEY FULLY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEIR COSTUMERS AND THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!!!!!! the staffs disrespect and treatment of young women is enough to make anyone sick to their stomach. dj was trash too

Kenton Coonts: Always have a great time here + am well taken care of. Hawaii and the security staff are easily the best in town. Kyle and the other bartenders get drinks out quick and make them how you want. If you request music, you can get the songs you want played. I ordered bottle service for my birthday, and couldn’t have asked for a better time. Have been coming here for years now and I love this place.

Richard Post: One of the best kept secrets in Downtown Springfield,Mo. If you haven't been here you are missing out big time. Here is just a taste of some talent. I do recommend that you come in with proper manners here. The staff is amazing and the drinks are made to your tastes. There are some college kids working behind the bar so when you order tip well above the standard. The KJ is amazing so don't for get tip him big time too. You want to get ahead in here go large and tip the KJ some fat cheddar.

Terry Jones: I’ve been there one time and the karaoke sucked as well as the service. However, I never want to score a place from one night. I will go back to confirm. The karaoke DJ had absolutely no clue what he was doing (he seemed more interested in his girl for the night) and there is no back sound for the singer to hear what is going on and when I wanted a drink the bartender was either out smoking or something or serving people before me that came up after me because they are friends. At this point I give the bar a negative 5 stars but like I said, I’ll give it another chance.. only one!

Molly Marley: Won't be back with their poor service. Came with a friend to try a new place this past weekend (a Saturday night) instead of our couple of times per week regular place. We asked other customers to watch our table while we went to smoke and went out the front door to the sidewalk to smoke like an employee told us to do. When we tried to go back in, a greeter, or whatever one may call them, was the door and refused to let us back in without paying a cover charge even though we already had a tab open, our personal things at a table, and first drinks on that table. Apparently we got there early enough that there wasn't a cover the first time, but they refused to let us in after smoking without paying a cover. We told the person we would just go in, close our tab, grab our things and leave and were welcomed to be followed. We did and left. It wasn't the best environment in the little while we were there anyway, the drinks not super strong nor anything other than standard prices, and it was nothing special as far as we experienced fairly early in the busier weekend night hours, so we just grabbed our stuff and left. The service wasn't anything to write home about either - nothing horrible as far as the bar goes, but nothing special. With our small experience of the place and a cover charge, for what it was, I would not recommend.

Sarah: Super interesting bar with lots of historic charm. We went on a super busy night, Halloween celebrations. It was packed but the atmosphere seemed nice. They were very welcoming and the Drag Show was a good time. I wasn't drinking that night, so no comment on the drinks yet.

Maria Lombardi: I am an out of towner looking for a great martini and good vibes. The spirit selections are limited, the bartender was not friendly. My drink was served in a tulip glass with a big glass bubble in the middle so it looks like you are getting a decent size cocktail. I asked for a club soda back with my martini and I got 3oz of gun soda and charged $2.51! The drink was good, but skimpy.

(Beers, Wells/U Call It.) The bartender didn’t know what a blue Hawaiian was and she charged me .20 for pineapple and sprite. A cup of coke/Pepsi was $5.20.Second, the dance floor is always packed with people just standing around. We could not even do any of the line dances when they played. It would be nice if security or management would tell people to get off the dance floor if they’re not dancing.-Edit to reply to owner-Response from the owner: “The .20 is a cc service charge, and we’re a college bar that plays country. You can 2-step and line dance easily until 10:30. Then we throw a party until close. Just a heads up!”^- alright so is every country bar I’ve been to is near a major university. I don’t care about the music y’all play just tell people to get off if they’re not gonna utilize the dance floor. There’s plenty of space on the drink floor to stand around and chat with your friends. :)

Secret Shopper: It was my first time coming here and it was just ok...I felt like I was just waiting for someone to fight..Mostly country music and lots of young people wearing next to nothing some girls need to have more self respect for themselves but it was alright if that's your thing. Needs more pool tables
