Diver's Oasis: what do users think?
Jamin Corder: Best dive shop in the area. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Deb Fugitt: Love this shop. I'm from out of town and in a bind when an online dive shop messed up an order twice and also was asking me to pay almost double than my original invoice for the order I'd waited on for 3 weeks. I just happened to see this shop, stopped in, found a good selection of Akona suits in 3mm and 5mm. I wanted a front zip. Tried on a back zip for size. Sherri and Kody (apologize if names aren't quite correct) called Akona and got the wetsuit I wanted shipped out same day from the manufacturer. I had it in my hands faster than expected for a much lower price including the shipping! Super friendly people. Wish I could have stayed around to chat longer.
Gary Watson: Great prices, great selection. Very knowledgeable staff
Chop Snowbeard: My favorite dive shop within driving distance (1.5 hours or so to get there but then I get to try new restaurants) and they have used equipment.
dan summa: Great dive shop, reasonable prices!
S. Mc: My new favorite small dive shop! Had my tanks hydroed and vip'd there. Missed our shot at a used regulator for daughter. Maybe we can catch a good deal again before her first dive vacation.
Sara Hynes: The people are amazing and super friendly!!! 10/10 recommend.
teresa reddix: Good place for diving gear
Trent Mitchell96: Amazing and knowledgeable service. This shop has a lot more products to offer than other dive shops in this area. Highly recommended 👌

Doug Fender: Great store convienantly located. Good selection,Reasonable pricing and knowledgeable staff

Club Rodeo: what do users think?
Shawn k: Had a blast for my sons 21st birthday. Music was on fire!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
mouad harbi: Nice place
Melanie: First time here on a Saturday night. So far, it’s a slow start. Not bad. Love the atmosphere here. Will be back again. Wish they had happy hour on Thursdays. Food is awesome too!!
DT: Great people, food and alcohol!!!!!
Kelvin: GREAT ATMOSPHERE AND PEOPLE.FIRST TIME THERE BUT NOT MY LAST..
trent dornan: Had a blast since I am 21 there where people that got me drinking
Digital Playground: Nice venue. Drinks were slightly pricy, but not too bad. It was fairly packed on a Saturday night. The club seemed to draw in more of a teeny bopper crowd, which wasn't really my scene.
Tristan Chavez: Currently here and sitting while in writing this.I’m coming from Texas and by far the worst experience from every country bar I’ve been to.To start off, the drinks are starting at $5 and up. (Beers, Wells/U Call It.) The bartender didn’t know what a blue Hawaiian was and she charged me .20 for pineapple and sprite. A cup of coke/Pepsi was $5.20.Second, the dance floor is always packed with people just standing around. We could not even do any of the line dances when they played. It would be nice if security or management would tell people to get off the dance floor if they’re not dancing.-Edit to reply to owner-Response from the owner: “The .20 is a cc service charge, and we’re a college bar that plays country. You can 2-step and line dance easily until 10:30. Then we throw a party until close. Just a heads up!”^- alright so is every country bar I’ve been to is near a major university. I don’t care about the music y’all play just tell people to get off if they’re not gonna utilize the dance floor. There’s plenty of space on the drink floor to stand around and chat with your friends. :)
AllyBear_ 360: If you don’t know line dances good luck, mostly country, when it’s anything else it’s still line dancing. No diversity and just disappointing. Came for the first time with some friends and we were truly disappointed.
Stacy S: I come from Cali where kids can't have good, wholesome fun without gangs and guns. This place was a Blast. Kids of every age, background, ethnicity coming together to dance the night away.
AJ’S WAY: Release the videos of me being jumped in your club. Or I will widely spread the footage I got from across the street. You guys days are counting…
Todd Webster: Good place to meet friends.
Darian Fultz: from Kansas City.. first time here last night and it was a blast! Good drinks and decent prices. Love the vibe and how crowded it can get. Gonna make this a stopping point!!
Secret Shopper: It was my first time coming here and it was just ok...I felt like I was just waiting for someone to fight..Mostly country music and lots of young people wearing next to nothing some girls need to have more self respect for themselves but it was alright if that's your thing. Needs more pool tables
MaDi M: Interesting place. Lots of synchronized dancing. Always fun.
Leah Martin: So much fun. Out server was awesome! Drake Milligan deserved a MUCH larger crowd.
Debbie Peavey: Drinks are DEFINITELY watered down😩
Tactical sweater: No shortage of thots.
Daniele Kolie: Definitely a younger crowd
Osherah Griffen: My first time here on Halloween weekend. The Atmosphere was diverse and so hype!! I love it and can't came wait to go back.
Nony Mous: Great place to go if you are underage. They will serve you no questions asked.

Sweet Boy's Neighborhood Bar: what do users think?
Richard Post: Great Local hangout downtown. They have great drink options. The mural on the wall is amazing if you are a movie buff. Everyone that comes in is there for a chill laid back vibe.Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes The Scotch & Soda, Bourbon Fix …More
Jacob Maldonado Nofziger: pinball is free, beers are cheap, conversation is entertaining, staff is direct and generous, would recommend
Gunnar Gilbertson: Original menu, fun vibe, arcade machines in the back. Great place!
Dana Kessack: The bartender was cool, but she was limited by the owners inability to stock the bar. They didn't even have ingredients to make the drinks that I tried to order off of their drink menu. The bathroom was sketchy to say the least. FYI to the owners: it looks like maybe a can of paint and some cheap wall spackle would help a lot. When I did ask for a drink menu, the bartender had to peal the menus apart because they were stuck together. Gross! This place could have been really kind of neat had they used some soap and water every now and again, and if the bathrooms didn't look like maybe you might be the next victim for whatever goes on in this filthy room...you literally could let you imagine run free from how uncomfortable you feel in there. I am giving 2 stars and that is only because the bartender was nice and you could tell she was limited by the environment and the condition of the bar.
Daniel Larsson: Dive-style neighborhood bar with a patio, pinball and arcade games, and cheap beer as well as high end liquor. One of those places you just find yourself at and can't remember how you got there.
Joan Doss: This is a great bar for cheap drinks and free pinball. The few times I've been here it hasn't been too busy.
DeNae Moore: (Update: this review is from when they were know as scotch and soda. I haven’t been since the change. So I don’t know if this review matching the current menu)First time in Springfield. I saw this place after leaving a brewery. All my friends wished we had come here first so we could have drank more. I originally got the quick fix. Loved it! My friend got the Bella Morte. I liked it. She thinks it was the balsamic making it a bit bitter but I think she wasn't digging the basil. It tasted a little like celery juice. But it was such a cool summer vibe drink. I would get it again. We also go an appetizer of bread and honey. Great bread! Like the best biscuit you've ever had. The Salt and pepper on top was nice. Will be back for sure.
Rut Muñoz Aliaga: Chill vibes, great drinks
Travis Eastburn: Nice bartenders. Just a cool little spot down by the square to grab a drink.
Ruben Alonzo: Great place to day drink. Nice bartenders. Good drinks. Pinball is fun. When they get busy at night it's not really a place I want to be at just because it becomes more of a college bar, but if you're looking to daddy drink it's a pretty chill spot.
sam lawson: I’ll give them more stars whenever they fire that bald guy with the mustache. He’s always a jerk with a sense of leadership that plenty of management has assured me he doesn’t have. He’s tried to kick me out so many times for made up reasons, but management doesn’t allow him to do it. Why keep someone who’s going to harass a regular? Is he afraid I’m going to call him out for doing something wrong? Because that’s happened and he tried to ban me from the bar for calling out his mistake. Again, management has had my back, I just don’t know why they keep this guy.
Zach A: This is the bar you go to have some fun. Good drinks and friendly bartenders as well as being open longer hours than any other bar downtown. There's almost always a decent crowd and and they've got some good arcade games in the back if that's your thing.(original review was of Scotch & Soda that used to be at this location. Pictures are from there and I'll update them when I get the chance) Several truly unique drinks await you at this find locale. Huge selection of whiskey, scotch, and bourbon as well.
Michelle Kautz: Fun place!
Andrew Tveitnes: Great specials, selection, and music. The prices were similar to most college bars...Cheap! They had an old fridge behind the bar that had a neon light inside of it, which looked really cool when the bartenders opened it to get drinks. They also had the "mystery beer" special for $2. The "mystery beer" ended up being the grapefruit seltzer that my friend wanted. There was free pinball in the back and anime on the TV/projector. This place is an affordable good time.
Geoff klinkerfuss: Great place for meeting friends. Has nostalgia of what the entire square was like 30 years ago, and has Asteroids.
Ebony: Fun bar. Music was upbeat the crowd was decent.
Pearson Montgomery: Great selection of cheap beers
JC Ritzz: Lots of seating, a stocked bar, knowledgeable staff, and specials every day. The perfect place to start a night out in town.
Cara Keith Kerr: Cool atmosphere, awesome service and the arcade is rad!
Kevin Doty: Awesome a must stop
Super Charlie: Great pinball bar! They had open play while I was there. Good selection of craft draft beers with local focus. Great bar tender. Just a great experience.

Lydia Hennesay: This was the second bar my husband, Matt and I visited in Springfield when we moved here 2 and a half years ago. We have tried several other bars in town but not one of them was special enough for Matt and myself to call our bar! The Stepchild on other hand is exactly the kind of bar that we our proud to call ours!! We were welcomed by all from the very start! 😍 The stepchild has live music once or twice a week. Wednesday through Thursday, starting at 9pm they have karaoke. The DJ's that preside over the karaoke nights are the absolute best!! Shout out to m Corey! # Bang, Bang, Bang!! Vamonos, vamonos!! All the bartenders are just amazing! By the time we get up to the bar proper they are already drawing our usual. The patrons of the Stepchild are not just regulars they are friends and family!! I love this var!!!
Flynnmullen26: Love this place

Mary Ann Bonetti: Very friendly place! Great prices and nice staff. Very grateful for their Friendsgiving event! Love the Kareoke, too.
Bruce Bollen: Great atmosphere for adult entertainment, pool table, casino machines, jukebox and karaoke Wednesday through Saturday nights. Smoking allowed on the front porch. Friendly staff and reasonable prices
E N (Zak): Best dive bar with the largest cast of karaoke characters
Cory Henningsen: Came here at the end of 2010 when I was in a bad place and in rough shape and quickly made a ton of friends. Who knew that within a year's time I would have had life-changing experiences here including incredible gain and incredible loss, but I wouldn't change a moment. After life continued to give me polarized experiences, I still returned to the same faces. Lost my best friend here. Gained my wife of 10 years here. Cried and laughed my hardest here. I'm now about 10 1/2 years into my employment with Cross Entertainment and about a 1 1/2 years into regularity of serving karaoke here as a contractor and I have this to say:This is the best bar in Springfield. Staff actually tries to remember everyone and make positive connections. They generally allow for people to do what they want as long as it isn't illegal, destructive, or hurtful towards others and you'll see varieties of activities such as D&D, people reading books in silence, themed parties, accepting food deliveries, holding fundraisers, etc...This is an "order-at-the-bar" establishment. You won't be served tableside and the one-star complaint regarding not being served is simply a case of mistaken context. Quite a few people hang out in the bar without drinking for a while and prefer the seclusion and silence. I've done it plenty. So the bar staff generally respects your time and privacy if you appear to want to be left alone. Want a drink? Walk up and order. Also, about it being "impossible" to order while it's busy--its not. They have a mirror and system down for who approached and when they will get to you. Just like anywhere else, when it gets busy, it gets busy and there will be a wait. My advice is to send one person from your party to order and retrieve your drinks to relieve some congestion. It gets STUPID packed on weekend karaoke nights and when local musical artists perform, so plan accordingly. Parking is rough, considering neighboring businesses refusing to offer spaces, but the nearest parking isn't too far off. You'd have to walk further downtown but having to cross one street by 70' is somehow the world's biggest tragedy. Lol You walk further while in Walmart. Also, if you want to ensure you get your songs in for karaoke, showing up sooner than later is best. At about 3-5 minutes per song, only about 12-18 singers could reasonably sing per hour, provided they're ready to sing right away once the preceding song finishes. So a night with an "at capacity" attendance will almost certainly see a packed list. I advise being attentive and responsive to when your name is called to help reduce the wait time for others and informing karaoke staff when you're leaving so you get removed from the list. There are plenty of events around the year including BBQ competitions, major holiday parties, fundraisers, live music, memorial services, birthdays, wedding receptions...you name it! Yes, there are some people who stay all day from open to last call and there are those who pop in to say "hello" and leave. Out of all the bars I've been to in this town since I turned 21 fourteen years ago, this one is by far the best.
