Sevde Sümeyye ŞAHİN: The hair service I received from Amanda was beyond awful! Worst hair result I've ever had in my life. It was definitely not worth the price I paid. My advice to you is to never use this service. She says it happens a few times, when the result is bad. I'm going to have to dye my hair myself. Definitely do not prefer it, believe me, I could have done the process better myself. I also believed the comments and went there. It is not worth it They didn't even make a hair that could go inside people. They say your hair is still healthy. My hair was already healthy. I couldn't even get the service I wanted. Lorraina: I’ve been a client of Studio 417 since 2018. I started with blonde highlights, then balayage then back to my natural brunette color with some layering. I typically see Michelle, and she has does a fabulous job every single time. She listens to your concerns and executes what you ask. Once in 2021, Michelle was booked out so I saw a lady named Mackenzie and requested a light trim however, she took off about six inches. It was devastating to me, but I continued to be a client here since it was one bad experience out of my several positive ones. I just told myself I wouldn’t book with anyone but Michelle.Fast forward to now, I was overdue for a trim & wanted to add more layering, but with my schedule being so crazy, Michelle was booked out in the time frame I needed. I decided to go ahead and try with another stylist despite my 2021 hair heartbreak, lol. I took an appointment with Neeley and in all honesty, I was super nervous it would be a mistake as my hair is very important to me. From the moment Neeley came out to introduce herself, she was a breath of fresh air. She was so kind and patient, she listened to me, related to me, and went above and beyond to make my experience an 11/10. She finished my hair and I don’t think I’ve ever felt as confident walking out of the salon as I did today. M C: I went over to buy Kerastate Shampoo, more expensive than online purchase. The staffs neglected me, 4 of them were chit chatting at the back of their shampoo and hair color corner, even they saw me walked in and was looking for help, they just turned their head back to continue their chit chat and laughter. When needed someone to checkout my item, I had to walked over to a hair dresser for help, who is in the middle of cutting a hair, then a girl came over with an u happy face, no eye contact, I paid and she handed me the product and walked away! Definitely won’t go back and would not recommend this salon.

anna richey: Taylor did a half and half dye on my hair and the outcome was satisfactory. The colors didn’t seem to match the inspo picture very well but it was a good dye job regardless. I did leave the salon with my hair feeling like it was full of product & just really icky. I had to go home and wash it after I was done. Even the quick blow dry style was low quality and didn’t make my hair look or feel the best. I also wish Taylor spent more time on clients then her assistants, it felt like they did more than half of the job. Alyssa Bigham: Went here once about 2 years ago and the girl destroyed my hair. My hair was brown and I just wanted to add highlights and low lights and all the sudden I left with bleached hair and really dark roots. I spent $350 for them to destroy my hair. It took a full year for my hair to go back to normal after that. Girl didn’t even apologize. I even tipped her like I normally would. Never will step foot in here again and suggest nobody else does

I'm not much of a 'salon' girl so I was a little nervous going to such a professional place, but I was immediately greeted and felt so welcome instantly! The 'Lather Lounge' where I got shampooed was amazing and like a spa experience itself! The salon is bright, clean and well decorated. It has a cozy atmosphere while not feeling crowded.But the highlight here, by far, are the people! Kari Wolken: I visited the salon in early 2023 because my husband purchased a gift card for my Christmas present. I have long hair and I wanted an hombre and a hair cut. I absolutely loved the aesthetic of the salon, the owner made a lot of the decorations herself. You can never have enough plants, in my opinion. They provided me with snacks and drinks since the process of coloring my hair took a long time. All of the staff were very friendly! They also had a really relaxing room dedicated to hair washing. It was in a separate room from the main area and had darker lighting. The thermostat in that room was set higher so the clients wouldn't get cold during the shampoo treatment. What a great idea! Kelly Sallee: My daughter just came home from this salon with much much darker hair than she left with. She asked stylist to color/bleach her hair to her natural hair color. My daughter is a natural dark blonde. What she has now is orange roots and dark brown hair. After she realized what the stylist had done she just wanted to do is leave. Just make sure the stylist is well trained and listens to what the client is asking for. I understand there’s a process to lifting hair to a lighter color but the fact she has darker hair and no highlights even, I’m just shaking my head. It can be difficult to start over again but she took the time to ask questions and get it right. It has now been the best cut and color I have had in years. Heather was amazing and she did a great job. The rest of the staff was friendly and welcoming as well and didn't mind me taking pictures of the awesome building. This is most definitely an affirming LGBTQ+ friendly place and you're for sure going to get an incredible yet affordable cut. 15/10 do recommend and will be back.
Cheyenne Lloyd: Upon arrival our hairdresser greeted us with a bad attitude proceeded to tell us what a rotten day she was having.. my daughter came in with hair down to her waist. We ask for a trim of the dead ends and for it to be a straight cut. She cut off and then started to point cut the entire hair leaving it uneven and jagged very very noticeable and unappealing. She asked me if I wanted layers and I specifically told her no she proceeded to put layers in. I literally had to ask her three times to quit touching her hair so that I can get her out of the chair. Extremely dissatisfied and do not recommend

I had Annabelle, who looked at the photo I showed her of what my hair goals were, and she did a magical job on my hair! But I am just completely baffled and stunned and utterly disappointed at my recent experience.I have had many haircuts here at Vivo, with a Master Stylist. I never had any complaints and really enjoyed getting my hair done here.Recently switched stylists due to scheduling conflicts & honestly was a terrible decision.I ask for the same style every time & I bring reference photos. I honestly don’t feel like they listened to what I was asking for, Each time I have left with completely different hair cuts, & they completely ignored my request.When going back in to ask for a simple appointment, to re-do the mistakes that the stylist had done, because I honestly feel like my hair is butchered,They called me back the next day and stated they would be canceling my appointment, on my behalf, without my request at all in doing so. Who does that?

Techno Spice: I saw Bethany today after losing my old hairstylist at another place. I was going for a pixie but she took too much off the sides and it's literally lopsided, there was more taken off on the right then the left. It's so short on the right that it's hard to fix on the left without turning into a fauxhawk. She felt bad and only charged me for a bang trim which was nice of her but she's still gotta eat and I'm still disappointed. I used to not fear going too short but from now on I will be much more circumspect and err on the side of caution.Service:Haircut
Quinn Hafoka: I never leave reviews but I had to for this. At first I thought I liked my hair and I been telling myself I did but everyday I look in the mirror I feel very ugly. I wanted king layers and curtain bangs, I got very short choppy curtain bangs and no layers. I had hair down to my but and said please keep as much length as possible and there was probably 5 inches maybe 6 cut. My hair was very thinned out and now I am going to have to regrow my hair for another year that it took me. I am not please whatso ever I wouldn’t go to this salon if your first time it felt very rushed it was a Saturday. There wasn’t a wash or dry she put dry shampoo in my hair the sectioning was also all over the place. I had a Saturday apt. And I felt like I was rushed. I will never go here again. This is why I never get my hair cut.
Sarah Toma: First time I've been here. I was a little nervous cause my hair is so sensitive, and oftentimes, stylists don't do what I have in mind when it comes to color or cut. I walked in on a rainy day and was greeted kindly by Bethany where she offered me a cup of coffee and listened to my hair story. I have curly hair and every salon I’ve been to in Springfield always has me straighten my hair before I come in but Hannah doesn’t do that. She cut my hair first, then washed it, and then styled it. She was so sweet and explained each step she was going to do. Ever since having Covid my scalp has been very sensitive but she was so gentle with washing my hair, it wasn’t uncomfortable at all. Her price is also very reasonable. I will definitely be back for more haircuts with her. Valeriy fabyanchuk: Went to see kassi williams, she matched the hair color for extensions, sent me the link to purchase exactly the one she matched and when she put them in it was wayyy lighter. She then told me oh shoot well its lighter than I thought. Reorder a darker color ill put them in. I Reordered another color they overnighted it and when I scheduled the appointment with Kassi, she told me, yeaaa ill have to charge something for my "time". Even though she messed up and matched the wrong color and had me order the wrong color. So she charged me 50% as a "good" gesture.Unprofessional, just like previous reviews stated you should indeed go somewhere else. They mess up and they dont care. Dont trust the other "good" reviews. Hope they value their short term gain of $90 and consider next time of their long term customer loss.
Just Me: Three stylists from this salon have been recommended to me - none of them are taking new clients. This practice is extremely frustrating when you are new in town. I will keep looking for someplace that doesn't turn away new customers.

Lori: There is not enough good you can say about Pam Humphreys, this woman had her work cut out with my eyebrows alone as I had to have my face ripped out of a windshield when I was riding home from school with a friend in high school. She was amazing and talked me through the whole process while teaching me the best look, color and shaping and how to make them look as natural as possible. Then came the hair, I already knew basically what I wanted, but I had a partial hysterectomy at a young age so that has taken a toll on me but especially my hair now being almost 54yrs old. Pam did not disappoint nor did she skip a beat on making sure I had knowledge on the look I was going for especially as fine as my hair has gotten over the years, she is truly amazing. Pam is the kind of stylist you can go to and completly put all your trust and faith into even if you have no clue what you want and or need. For real, I believe you could walk in and just say, "Do what needs to be done" and you will not be disapointed!!! The women that were there were so welcoming and kind.I didn't even recognize my daughter after Cam worked her magic, plus my daughter never sits still for anyone, but because our hair stylist made it such a positive experience she was extremely well behaved and excited the whole time.My family will never go anywhere else, this place is hands down the best salon I have ever stepped in.
