Sevde Sümeyye ŞAHİN: The hair service I received from Amanda was beyond awful! Worst hair result I've ever had in my life. It was definitely not worth the price I paid. My advice to you is to never use this service. She says it happens a few times, when the result is bad. I'm going to have to dye my hair myself. Definitely do not prefer it, believe me, I could have done the process better myself. I also believed the comments and went there. It is not worth it They didn't even make a hair that could go inside people. They say your hair is still healthy. My hair was already healthy. I couldn't even get the service I wanted. Lorraina: I’ve been a client of Studio 417 since 2018. I started with blonde highlights, then balayage then back to my natural brunette color with some layering. I typically see Michelle, and she has does a fabulous job every single time. She listens to your concerns and executes what you ask. Once in 2021, Michelle was booked out so I saw a lady named Mackenzie and requested a light trim however, she took off about six inches. It was devastating to me, but I continued to be a client here since it was one bad experience out of my several positive ones. I just told myself I wouldn’t book with anyone but Michelle.Fast forward to now, I was overdue for a trim & wanted to add more layering, but with my schedule being so crazy, Michelle was booked out in the time frame I needed. I decided to go ahead and try with another stylist despite my 2021 hair heartbreak, lol. I took an appointment with Neeley and in all honesty, I was super nervous it would be a mistake as my hair is very important to me. From the moment Neeley came out to introduce herself, she was a breath of fresh air. She was so kind and patient, she listened to me, related to me, and went above and beyond to make my experience an 11/10. She finished my hair and I don’t think I’ve ever felt as confident walking out of the salon as I did today. M C: I went over to buy Kerastate Shampoo, more expensive than online purchase. The staffs neglected me, 4 of them were chit chatting at the back of their shampoo and hair color corner, even they saw me walked in and was looking for help, they just turned their head back to continue their chit chat and laughter. When needed someone to checkout my item, I had to walked over to a hair dresser for help, who is in the middle of cutting a hair, then a girl came over with an u happy face, no eye contact, I paid and she handed me the product and walked away! Definitely won’t go back and would not recommend this salon.

anna richey: Taylor did a half and half dye on my hair and the outcome was satisfactory. The colors didn’t seem to match the inspo picture very well but it was a good dye job regardless. I did leave the salon with my hair feeling like it was full of product & just really icky. I had to go home and wash it after I was done. Even the quick blow dry style was low quality and didn’t make my hair look or feel the best. I also wish Taylor spent more time on clients then her assistants, it felt like they did more than half of the job. Sierra: Blu skies spa is the place to go for your facial needs. I drive from St.Louis to get a facial and chemical peel from Taylor Mach. Her guidance and expertise have completely changed my skin and skincare game. I came today to get a custom facial and chemical peel from Taylor. She offered me a buccal massage as a part of my facial. After explaining to me what the buccal massage does I gave it ago and loved it! Taylor is very knowledgeable and explains every step of the way and benefits. For anyone who is unsure of chemical peels or any other professional esthetician services, you have to go see Taylor she's the best!

Emily Derges: I was a walk in appointment, and it was my first time there. They got me in on a Saturday from a cancellation. I had Diana for root touch, color touch up and cut. I had red violet on my ends which is hard to get right. She killed it!!!!! I love my color and the appointment was fast. Through the whole process she did not pull my hair when brushing or washing or straightening which I really appreciate. Sometimes hair dressers are super rough when brushing out thin hair. She let me talk as much or little as I wanted which was a plus, it gave me time to just relax. I did not have to battle over how much she wanted to cut off of my ends, she let me pick and double checked that I was comfortable with the amount to cut off. Super easy to work with and super sweet. However, I went in for a correction and walked out with essentially the same thing I went in with and down $200 and 3 hours. It is bright and cheery and small enough that you don't get all the hustle and bustle like you do at other salons. I love the lather room (there is literally nothing better than having someone else wash your hair), and the processing room (who seriously wants to stare at themselves in the mirror for an hour with foil on your head??). And I was impressed by how "green" the salon is - something that I had never thought about before, but greatly appreciate.I've been going to Stefanie Victor for several years now and this is by far my favorite salon that she has worked at. I trust her COMPLETELY with my hair and often times just let her take the wheel and do what she thinks suits me best - I have NEVER been disappointed by her! I always refer all of my people to her. Especially those red heads, because Stefanie is a wizard with reds!She has also cut my daughter's hair since she was two years old - she is now six. "Miss Stefanie" is super patient with her and always does an amazing job.Very highly recommend this salon!

Kari Wolken: I visited the salon in early 2023 because my husband purchased a gift card for my Christmas present. I have long hair and I wanted an hombre and a hair cut. I absolutely loved the aesthetic of the salon, the owner made a lot of the decorations herself. You can never have enough plants, in my opinion. They provided me with snacks and drinks since the process of coloring my hair took a long time. All of the staff were very friendly! They also had a really relaxing room dedicated to hair washing. It was in a separate room from the main area and had darker lighting. The thermostat in that room was set higher so the clients wouldn't get cold during the shampoo treatment. What a great idea! Kelly Sallee: My daughter just came home from this salon with much much darker hair than she left with. She asked stylist to color/bleach her hair to her natural hair color. My daughter is a natural dark blonde. What she has now is orange roots and dark brown hair. After she realized what the stylist had done she just wanted to do is leave. Just make sure the stylist is well trained and listens to what the client is asking for. I understand there’s a process to lifting hair to a lighter color but the fact she has darker hair and no highlights even, I’m just shaking my head. Heather was amazing and she did a great job. The rest of the staff was friendly and welcoming as well and didn't mind me taking pictures of the awesome building. This is most definitely an affirming LGBTQ+ friendly place and you're for sure going to get an incredible yet affordable cut. 15/10 do recommend and will be back.
Cheyenne Lloyd: Upon arrival our hairdresser greeted us with a bad attitude proceeded to tell us what a rotten day she was having.. my daughter came in with hair down to her waist. We ask for a trim of the dead ends and for it to be a straight cut. She cut off and then started to point cut the entire hair leaving it uneven and jagged very very noticeable and unappealing. She asked me if I wanted layers and I specifically told her no she proceeded to put layers in. I literally had to ask her three times to quit touching her hair so that I can get her out of the chair. Extremely dissatisfied and do not recommend

John & Danielle Myers: As a new client, i walked in with excitement. After 2 visits, 5 hours and $140 (not including tip) they were not able to make my hair all one color. There is a 2 inch streak of reddish color from my scalp, going into dirty blond. I look ridiculous!! I asked for a refund so I could go somewhere else to get it fixed. The owner and stylist offered free highlights, but refused to refund me.After a few weeks, I was able to get into 417 Salon. The stylist saw the problem and corrected Salon Truth’s mistake. Unfortunately it cost me another $165 this month. Plus another tip! View last photo to clearly see the correction.I would advise people to avoid Salon Truth. If they had refunded my $140 this review would have never gone public. It’s unfortunate that a person has to spend so much $ on hair to begin with - let alone fixing a costly mistake.

I called and let them know that I was going to be a little late and they still let me keep my appointment. Sarah did a great job working my hair accessory into my hair for my engagement pictures and wedding and was willing to fix my curls to how I wanted them when she re did my hair again for my wedding day! They took care of me and made me feel like a princess!

They did not have her on the books and I realize that unintentional mistakes do happen but I prefer businesses who attempt to correct their mistakes rather than make it the customer's problem when they mess up...do not recommend.

Austin did a great job on my hair and took the time to make through all my thick layers. The ONLY reason I gave a star was because my hair truly did turn out great for my wedding day and the stylist was fantastic.I initially contacted honey + hive to do hair for my wedding. I had recently moved back from Chicago and this salon came highly recommended. My first experience with their receptionist on the phone was extremely poor. I was trying to get an estimate of pricing (as any bride would do) and she had an extremely negative attitude and was so very rude to me, upon looking past that I had my hair trial where I gave a deposit of almost $300 dollars. From there I requested that the hair stylist come to my venue to do the hair and was instructed I would need to give an extra $600 dollars for a travel fee, after refusing, asking to speak to a manager and asking for my deposit back- we agreed on a $250 travel fee "because I was taking away from the clients the stylist would normally be doing at that time" this quote came from their manager. I was shocked considering myself, and my 6 bridesmaids, and mothers were paying them and we are their clients for the day??!! The worst part of the entire situation was that I had SPECIFICALLY asked at my hair trial when I would need to give the rest of my payment and was instructed that I would receive a phone call...Which I did, the night before my wedding at my rehearsal dinner where they told my planner that "if I did not call before they closed and pay in full that the stylist would not be showing up to my wedding tomorrow" I was completely appalled- how dare you call a bride the night before her wedding and THREATEN to refuse service, when I had already given them a deposit. There was NO communication, they have NO handbook with pricing and procedures. I would not recommend honey + hive to anyone to get their hair done for their wedding day. What incredible talent with horribly ran service. Such a shame.

I had Tabby, Kambree, and now Megan Jessy.And each time was a wonderful experience. I was too scared for a long time to chop my hair off or get away from dying my hair black because it was just low maintenance. Being a mom and living an hour and a half away from this salon, I don’t always get the chance to get my hair done often.But I decided I needed some change and have been talking to Megan Jessy about chopping my hair off and starting the blonde journey from black hair. Today was my first session and my hair came out exactly how I expected if not better! As you should know, going from dark hair to blonde is a PROCESS. It doesn’t happen after one or even two sessions.This was Megan’s first time doing a balayage on me and she was seriously so amazing and personable! I highly recommend her. And her cutting skills? I am the pickiest person when it comes to cut. I come from Nashville, TN where I spent good money on haircuts. And let me tell you, Megan is one of the BEST.I had to upload updated photos because Yelp lacked them. Truly, Honey + Hive is a hidden gem. Alyssa Bigham: Went here once about 2 years ago and the girl destroyed my hair. My hair was brown and I just wanted to add highlights and low lights and all the sudden I left with bleached hair and really dark roots. I spent $350 for them to destroy my hair. It took a full year for my hair to go back to normal after that. Girl didn’t even apologize. I even tipped her like I normally would. Never will step foot in here again and suggest nobody else does

Bethany Pace: After nine long months of pregnancy, I badly needed a self care day and went in for a hair cut and color! I had Annabelle, who looked at the photo I showed her of what my hair goals were, and she did a magical job on my hair! Not only did she fix my damaged ends, thinning top and bad highlights, but I left the salon feeling fresh, trendy and so excited for my new bob. Was extremely happy with the results, and the attentive care to detail on what I wanted. Will definitely be returning to Vivo! I felt like new girl when I left.
Soph: This salon is very un-accommodating.I don’t normally leave bad reviews. But I am just completely baffled and stunned and utterly disappointed at my recent experience.I have had many haircuts here at Vivo, with a Master Stylist. I never had any complaints and really enjoyed getting my hair done here.Recently switched stylists due to scheduling conflicts & honestly was a terrible decision.I ask for the same style every time & I bring reference photos. I honestly don’t feel like they listened to what I was asking for, Each time I have left with completely different hair cuts, & they completely ignored my request.When going back in to ask for a simple appointment, to re-do the mistakes that the stylist had done, because I honestly feel like my hair is butchered,They called me back the next day and stated they would be canceling my appointment, on my behalf, without my request at all in doing so. Who does that?
Kendall Rhodes: I wanted to give a shout out to Kylie. My old stylist isn’t there anymore and Kylie really came through. She’s got the natural talent for this industry. She’s going to have a great career. I 100% suggest booking with Kylie.Service:Hair coloring
Kristin S.: My cut was good from Macey, but didn't care for the layout of the salon. Bright lights from the booth behind were glaring in the mirror; making it hard to look up to see when asked about the cut. The stations are really close together so hearing the loud conversations of others is annoying.
