Golf Headquarters: what do users think?
Tanner Wright: Agreed with every single one star comment, bald guy in the front is rude and treats me like I have never golfed before in my life. Came in with shorts and a t shirt, not sure if I need to wear khakis and my golf polo to get some respect in this store. Me and my friends have been in this store and have had the same experience every time. If you aren’t Tiger Woods, might as well go to a different store because they will treat you like a child.
Dave R.: I'm from out of town and I wish we had a store like this. I thought the shop was great. Huge selection of bags and drivers. If you're brand new to the sport they may not have a cheap set for you. Very knowledgeable on the differences in the golf balls . They regrip clubs and bend lofts and have almost every accessory available.
Jake Pokorney: I came in new to golf wanting to buy my first set of clubs, bag, accessories, ect.. I brought about 2000 dollars with me that I had saved up. Was looking at the different sets for about 15 min. Being new I was wanting opinions for new golfers so I asked one of the employees. I walked up introduced myself and explained what I was looking for, the bald guy behind the counter was the rudest person I've met In a retail store. In a nutshell told me "clubs are on the wall, I'm busy", I was the only one in the store. I'll never go back and every person I meet on a course tells me they aren't surprised. So I went to Grips and they fitted me and were absolutely incredible, even got a free 30 min lesson it felt like! I gave Grips my 2 grand.
Michelle Derby: I totally disagree with these negative reviews, I have bought drivers putters and balls from them for a while. These guys are serious about good golf equipment and have it all this is not academy. I have become a loyal customer and their answers to questions are short but accurate. Today I was custom fitted for a new titlest TSR driver I took about 5 min. To dail it in and get the right shaft, I just hit 30 balls on the golf course and they were right there at 230 to 240 but the tight dispersion was awesome
Amy Gilbert: No experience with golf, so a friend recommended this store to me since my 10 year old son is going to start golf this spring. From what I could tell, it looked like they had a nice selection and many accessories, but the gentleman who helped us did not seem interested in selling us anything when we asked for help and said we were new to the sport. We were looking to purchase everything our son needed, but left empty handed and no answers to our questions. We are now forced to go online or to a big box store to find what we need. Frustrating.
matt christian: I have to agree with several others that my experience at the golf shop was very disappointing. For instance, asking legit questions about new products and with answers that were very cynical response/attitude. I’ve been there twice now and purchased products both times because it’s the only golf shop near the area I live “Branson” I only purchased a little bit because of the attitude, but I wasted gas and my time for sure. What they don’t know is that I’ve been in the golf business 30 plus years now with a pretty big golf following. Please note I certainly didn’t tell them my golf background etc and I never would or will do that because I believe all customers should be treated equally and fairly. That being said I will not shop there again, and I hate to say it, but I’ll do business online or a reputable golf shop I’ve dealt with in the past. My only regret was giving them a second chance, but that’s the way I was taught, live, and teach. There will be no third opportunity for me. I know retail can be tough, but if you can’t handle coming to work with a good attitude, knowledge of products, being helpful, then find something else as a job. The 2 star review was so I don’t act as sorry as they do. I believe in change, and they’re going to desperately need it to revive that place
Jeff Rogers: Went in to buy. I wasnt dressed in my business attire, just a pair of jeans and a old sweat shirt ( Wal Mart clothes) Not a worker said hi or get out loser. I looked around. Said thank you loud to myself and left. When to Play it Again Sports and spent $1600 new a driverdollars
Jeremy Custer: Come on Springfield, run this place out, worst customer service. They could care less if you are there because it's the only true golf store around. At least great people and act like you care if they need any help or advice. Terrible
Brady Wells: Best store in town to feed your addiction to the beautiful sport we call golf! Whatever you need you can find at golf headquarters!! Staff is awesome too!
Craig Jones: I tried talking to one of the employees about the clubs I was going to purchase but he acted like I was bothering him and had no comment on anything I was saying. So I'll go spend my $1500 somewhere else.
David Clarke: Horrible customer service. Rude, non attentive, condescending. I guess after reading the past reviews the owner still hasn’t learned customer service. Won’t see another dollar from me.
Bryant Loosle: Probably one of the worst shopping experiences I have ever had. Very reluctant to help. Asked several questions, no one seemed willing to even talk to me. Finally said “hey are you guys able to help, or I’m going to leave”. At which point they said we don’t have those clubs for purchase. Will make the drive to golf Galaxy. Can only imagine what there service is like if you have an issue down the road.
ben manlove: Took a product exchange after I tossed my receipt not everywhere will fo that for something they didn't make.
Y J: I've had multiple visits for regripping, shaft replacements, and lie adjustments. I'll admit the staff is pretty low key but they give personalized attention to my needs and even get some stuff done same day. I'm pretty picky with my clubs and they've always been respectful and straightforward about products, timetables and pricing. Honestly their prov1 prices are lower than most online vendors. I would recommend them for their quality service.
Don Finney: When in the store for the first time. absolutely no help at all from anyone and it was not busy. unfriendly store!
Grant Jeffries: The guy that dresses like Adam Sandler was very unhelpful. He wouldn't help me find the right club length or offer suggestions, and had a bad attitude. I was considering buying clubs here but after having to deal with Unhappy Gilmore I'm just going to wait until next time I am in KCMO and buy from a shop there.
Randy Weaver: I was just there april 5 2022 and they were fantastic. I think they got rid of bad people, had a sign up help wanted. The young gentleman that helped me was terrific. He stayed with me the whole purchase. I was very impressed.
bill dolloff: I WENT IN 3 WEEKS AGO WAS JUST LOOKING AS I WAS FACING EYESURGERY EXPLAINED SAME TO MANAGER HE STOPPED WHAT HE WAS DOING AND SHOWED ME THE PRODUCTS THEY HAD WNT BACK IN THIS WEEK LOOKED AT MULTIPLE CLUBS THE MGR HAD SOMEONE TAKEME AND WE HIT BALLS TRIED SEVERAL CLUBS CAME UP WITH A DECISION I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT HOW WELL I WAS TREATEDSERVICE WAS IMPECABLE I HIGHLY RECOMMED THIS STORE FOR CHOICES AND THE PROPER HELP THANK YOU
Ken Scott: I was hoping to try and buy some clubs but the staff was less than helpful. They were very short when I asked about a particular set of clubs saying they were discontinued. There was no suggestions for an alternative nor an option to order. Selection seem very good for the small space they are in.
Chris Huddleston (chudly_operator): Yep, I’ve got a big beard and wear Harley stuff, but I also have plenty of money to spend in your shop if you were just the least bit helpful or friendly. I mean really? I can get everything in this store on line for less and with better customer service! Good luck with the attitude.
Gabe Bennett: I went in to get a new shaft for my driver head and they were really nice especially for being a younger golfer. I was treated very nicely with respect and they had my shaft done in 3 days. I will definitely be coming back to shop!

Play It Again Sports Springfield: what do users think?
Gabbie B: There are a variety of products to choose from and the staff are always willing to take the time to help, answer questions and check on you during your shopping experience. By the far one of the best places with great customer service. Always recommend! :)
Jeremiah Mee: They always have great products at reasonable prices. Golf club regripping is so convenient.
Laura Meadows: We've purchased many items for our gym here, including our treadmill. It started to make a noise so I called and Mark came out to look at it. He was very kind, explained everything to me, and then again when my part came in. Lovely service every time we work with anyone here.
Steve Simmons: Bad customer service
Skip Gorz: Well, the last time I was in a Play It Again was in Des Moines, IA many years ago. They had used equipment. I'd say this was 3 times the size I expected and had more new than old! I was there to run in and buy a used softball to shape an old glove I came across. And amidst a large basket of what looked like brand new softballs, I did find a cruddy old old softball! Just what I wanted! So, then I forgot about my wife waiting on the car because I had walk the store. This is much closer to a full fledged, broad activity sporting goods store. I was doing OK working my way from right to left. I was down to one more aisle. I looked up and saw the longest, highest 2 rows of brand new baseball gloves I've ever seen! The seemed to have every manufacturer represented, from A2000 down to Franklins. It was the only time I've been able to view the differences first hand....then, of course, I walked to the counter with my old softball, cursing my 74 stuff years and 300 pounds. Every spring I get this way and though I can't move much anymore, it was still the biggest thrill I've had in a year!...Maybe 10!
Jose Bolivar: Very friendly staff. We will most definitely be back.
Katelyn Hayter: Good deals but employees were not very helpful to me and my daughters. They seemed to only talk to males working. We figured it out but kind of rude
s clingan: I called to inquire about the prices of their pickle ball paddles, and was told from $20-$100. I arrived at the store 15 minutes or less after placing the call. I could not locate the $20 paddle and inquired. The clerk informed me "they must have sold out of them, but their best deal was now $54 for two paddles and two balls". That might be a deal, but not the price I was quoted on the phone. The clerk said they were sorry, but it does not impress me when they try to upsell you on a product they quoted you on the phone for $34 less.
YEET DELETE: Recommended 10/10 they are so helpful
Andrew Anderson: Great service
Lori Ralls: We've had great experiences! Staff is friendly and helpful!
Valan Wallace-Graves: Great selection and affordable prices!
White Brothers Baseball: Friend of the program. Awesome stuff awesome people, plus brice
Hype Flex: It was fun super fun
Ashley Gilbert: After a not so great experience at another local store, Dennis at Play It Again was able to help me pick out a set of golf clubs for my beginner son. I appreciate his help so much and we will be back for accessories!
Mason Griffin: Amazing customer service. I got grip tape and a bat, put it on the counter, and they wrapped it there.
Amber Williams: Scammers, brought in $200+ clubs they offer $75 store credit or $35 cash 😒
Mr. Feels: Good prices, no bicycles.
S Terry: Great deals on used and new equipment, hands down, but I had something embroidered and it was about 3 weeks late and they charged about $10 more than I was quoted initially. There was some winter weather in the mix, which they said was part of the issue, but they did a very poor job of updating me unless I bugged them about it. I was told multiple times I would be getting a call back about the status of my order every time I inquired, but that didn't happen once. I didn't mind paying what they asked, as it was part of a gift for my son, but it would have been nice to have been told an honest price upfront. I'm not sure that I'll be personalizing anything like that with them again.
Peter Black: Honestly, this is one of the best play it again sports I've ever been to. It was much larger than any other one I've been to. It seems more like a sporting goods store than a play it again. They had a lot of options of used goods and everything seemed to be priced pretty decently.
Joshh Burcham: These guys are great people always willing to help anyway they can.

Betty Allison Family Golf Center: what do users think?
Chris Patterson: Great place to work on your irons!!
Howard Tuter: To crowded to play 9 at Payne Stewart so I opted for Betty Allison, good decision.. worked on my short game ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Trav matney: Worst experience I’ve ever had at a golf course in my life we were so disrespected by the lady behind the counter I will never go back after we were done golfing and had everything put away my brother needed to use the restroom so I walked over by the first tee box and sat my bag down and was taking my glove of having a smoke and no one was around the lady behind the counter came out yelling and screaming saying I didn’t pay for 18 and I wasn’t able to golf anymore I told her I understood her and I was no longer golfing I was just waiting for my brother to get done using the restroom before we leave she then yelled and said I don’t care about that you can’t golf I said after 10 I again said okay I wasn’t golfing I was just waiting for my brother and she started screaming and yelling again repeating herself over and over I then said I had never been treated that way at any golf and my brother came out of the restroom and I said let’s leave we won’t ever be back here and I am calling first thing in the morning to speak with a manager.. I did just hit my first hole in one but she definitely ruined that experience for me
Timothy White: One of the best par 3 courses in the area!!
Mike Hudgens: I love this little test of my short game. Enjoyable walk, bring brightly colored balls or spend a lot of time looking. Pretty deccent practice of 7 iron and down for the average golfer.
Carl Schober: I play here allot after dark since it's lit at night and much cooler then. Good practice for your iron game!
Ricci Wright: This place is never open but the par-3 and a practice green or nice
Danbo Pelc: Fun little par 3. Played it at night.
Linda Perkins: This place was extremely busy when we were there. It was unclear when you walk in the door what you do or where to pay and what to do next. There was a very long line to get on the first tee box. You walk this course so either you have to carry your clubs or bring you own pull cart. They do have a few pull cart you can use for free but there was only one left when we got there and it was broken. I didn't realize it until I got a ways out on the course so by that time I had to just deal with it. It was quite chaotic. It wasn't marked very well at all. Someone could really get hurt here if you don't know what you are doing. It is super close quarters so you have to really watch and it is very easy to hit a shot that is off by a little and end up on someone else's fairway without even realizing it. It really needs to be marked better. It was fun after you get in your rhythm. We didn't have to wait too much for the people in front of us. They need water coolers out on the course. I ran out of water and was dying for a drink by the end. It was a neat little course. It just needs a little TLC. It was being run that night by some college age young people and they seemed to care more about getting out of there to go to the club than about anything else. You could tell they were not really interested in being there. If I didn't love par 3 courses so much I probably wouldn't go back but I give this course one more try to see if I had a better experience during the day.
Brooks Brewer: I Have always had a great time here at Betty Allison, the 9 hole course is kept in great condition for only being 10$ bucks for an adult, always have a great experience. Golfing at night is always a new and exciting adventure, and the staff is very friendly, Erik helped us on getting on the course, the course is designed well, with different tee's for every skill level, greens role smooth, and grass is well cut, and bunkers managed well. Will keep this course on my summer must play list at all times.
Brad Campbell: nice place well taking care of
George Hoffman: Fun course, and junior golfers are free from Sunday-Thursday! This is a perfect place for my 5 and 11 year old kids to learn the game.
Hannah Vimont: It is a very beautiful place, and the staff is wonderful!

Bass Pro Shops: what do users think?
Karen Mccarroll: I just love this place .. It's so nice to go in and see all the things they have. Everyone is very helpful
Brent Teague: Definitely worth visiting.
Cassie McAtee: Had what we needed, they were friendly, quick checkout. No complaints
Adam Moore: Always a great store
theressa feusner: Huge place, never been to a nascar museum inside of an sports and outdoor store
Chuck Sylvester: Friendly employees, many products, and good prices.
Christel Ludwig: I'm blown away by this place. Like everything, it's awesome, however needs arrows to se
Becky Myers: We go often! See something new every time! It's a must!
Richard Maiman: Not bad for a guy that started in his garage
zx6r diva: Looking for boat parts today. Had everything. Always a fun place to visit even if ur just looking. So much to see
KyLee Anette: Had a pretty disappointing experience during my recent visit to Bass Pro Shop here in Springfield, MO. The visit started out pretty good, I went with my family looking for some camping gear. We then stopped at the Riffle Coffee shop for some coffee. The cashier there asked what I wanted and I ordered, things seemed fine at that point in time. I then sat and waited for what seemed like 15 minutes for my drink. Everyone else got their drinks, even people behind me in line received their drinks before I did. I ordered a simple Iced Vanilla Latte. Finally they called my drink out and the taste of the coffee was really horrible. It didn’t taste anything like a latte, more like a cold brew with zero sweetener. I went back to the counter and the cashier who had taken my order earlier was still there. So I asked if it would be possible if they could remake my drink since I spent $6 on it and the young lady didn’t even look up at me and said I could add some sugar, almost as if she was gritting her teeth through the sentence. The ladies in the back didn’t even offer to remake it or even bother to step in. I was pretty upset that I was treated that way. Not sure why the simplest of things are such an inconvenience for some people, but they don’t have to worry about me returning to their coffee shop. I’m a young adult who has literally worked at a coffee shop myself and I never mistreated customers like that. Hopefully Bass Pro Shop can, in the future, train their employees to treat their customers better. Pretty sure the saying is “ The Customer Is Always Right. “
Garry: Amazing place to shop or just walk around and look at stuff
H: Awesome destination. Need more than a day to see everything here.
Johnathan “Hallmiester” Hall: Always a must stop on our trips!
Patches Johnson: Love this store!!! Great place to take the family!
Lis Adrienne: Overwhelming. So freaking large, some can, and likely do get lost. Fun place! Saw a live alligator !
jim sim: Huge clean store. Have everything needed for fishing . Always in stock
Joshua Smith: First timers and loved it
S Greenlee: Loved it
Caroline LU: 超棒的戶外生活旗艦店,裡面有很多免費參觀博物館,值得逛2小時。
John Jenkins: They hire anyone and without having any knowledge at all about the products they sell or service. And they charge locals Tourist Tax which is complete bs. I live here, I pay taxes here already. How can you charge me a tourist tax? Just goes to show Bass Pro is nothingore than a greedy corporate structure that feeds off greed. Completely shady. Can't stand this place. You have people selling firearms or ammunition that can't even spell firearm.

SWS GOLF PERFORMANCE: what do users think?
Adam: SWS golf performance is the nicest golf facility in southern Missouri for improving your game. The high end Uneekor technology that Sean has equipped the space with is the best available. The amount of club data to help improve and analyze your swing is game changing. The ability to improve your swing using data and video replay is a big reason why the game of golf is getting so much better so quickly. If you are looking to improve at golf using modern day technology, this is as good as it gets. Sean is an incredible teacher of the game of golf as well - I am very appreciative and lucky to have him as a coach.
Kylee Hopper: I found out about Sean through some local people in Springfield. I contacted him to get help for my the fitness side of my golf game. I’ve worked with him a few months now, and I’ve noticed big differences in hitting the ball especially my driver further. I am more stable and I have learned a lot about golf specific fitness. I’m so grateful for Sean’s help and all the resources he’s given me! He’s helped me not only with fitness but with college as well. I would recommend him to anyone!
Jake English: Sean Saunders is a FANTASTIC golf coach. I was struggling with my swing being so bee to golf and Sean took me to the next level! I haven’t missed a fairway off the tee since I’ve been working with him and I plan to keep working with him going forward just because I enjoy the interactions and his attitude so much, not to mention, I’m sure I’ll continue to get better at my game as well! Go see him, it’s worth it.
Jarrett Paoni: I started getting more serious with golf and was looking for someone to really dive into the whole swing process. I wanted to learn how to swing properly like the pros instead of a quick fix. I kid you not after going through the program, I ended up making my first eagle and first hole in one.
Jan Parsons: I met Sean when I was looking for a PGA professional that could give me a TPI evaluation. I felt comfortable around him, and later decided to take lessons. I’m in my late 40’s and was impressed that the age range that he is able to help. From Elementary school Age up into people going into retirement and later. Whatever the age Sean is able to evaluate your swing and body characteristics to help you succeed. Sean will continue to push you and encourage you thru training and lessons. He is patient and can instruct you in all aspects of the golf game. The Ozarks is blessed to have an instructor like Sean.
Corey Norton: Sean is super easy to work with and very thorough in completing a swing evaluation and helping to design a program to assist you in gaining flexibility and other body improvements to help your game.
Jared Sloan: I have played golf at a very competitive level for the last 7 years a little in college and a lot of competitive summer tournaments. I recently had felt like i had gone as far as i could on my own (averaging around 73 in tournament play) and began to search out someone to add advice to my golf game. I found Sean and took a lesson with him, instantly we were able to identify some swing flaws through the use of BodiTrak and club data and made some changes to help hit the ball a little more consistently. Sean also used his TPI knowledge to mention some areas that he felt i was lacking in my physical ability to swing the golf club in an efficient manner and created a way to fix those flaws in the gym. After my assessment with Sean and a couple months of working and focusing on the swing changes the last 4 tournament rounds i have played have been 68, 72, 69, 71 (a tied for 3rd in a qualifier, as 1st place finish at -4). Sean has been instrumental in this swing change and my path to consistently competing at a very high level of golf. I would highly recommend going and vising Sean weather you are a beginner golfer who is just getting started or a golfer who competes at a very high level. Thanks again for everything!
Brett Davis: Sean was really helpful! He has an awesome set up. Will tell you exactly what’s going on and how to fix it!
Chris Brewer: I've known Sean for nearly ten years. He has excellent knowledge of the golf swing as well as human physiology and the science of movement. He uses great technology to give instant feedback. I'm looking forward to additional sessions with him.
Brian Powers: I went to Sean as a self made golfer shooting par one day and 95 the next. I had no basic understanding of the game or the basic fundamentals behind the game even though I’ve been playing for 7 years regularly. More importantly I did not know how to correct my swing on those bad days. In one long mind-blowing day, I learned more things about golf than I ever thought possible. I think the best thing he was able to teach me was some basic physics that create the golf shot. He tailored an exercise program for me focusing on flexibility and core strengthening. His wholistic yet simplistic no-gimmic method has began to payoff for me. My putting is so much better that nearly every put on my local course truly has a chance of finding the bottom of the cup. My swing is simple and more core and torso based now. My back doesn’t hurt anymore from all the wild movement in my body with my old swing. My biggest regret in golf is that I didn’t find him 7 years sooner. If you are a golfer looking to begin, reinvent, or strengthen your golf game, I want you to go see Sean! You’ll need to forget all the gimics, leave the quick fix stuff at home, and be ready to start a simple and fruitful journey with your golf game.
Lisa Tinkler: Sean's passion for golf and teaching is amazing. It's easy to understand why he stays so busy. Call him to find your best golf game!
Wesley Bigham: I purchased a gift certificate for a TPI swing analysis with Shawn at a charity auction for Big Brothers Big Sisters. I talked to someone with the organization and they said he had been a big supporter for a long time. That being said, I expected him to be a nice guy and I wasn’t disappointed. I had to have back surgery and had to put off my appt until several months after the certificate was expired. Shawn never batted an eye, he accepted it without needing an explanation. The appointment went extremely well also, he was able to evaluate where I lacked mobility and give me detailed instructions on how to improve my limitations all while tailoring my swing to deal with it until I can get back to normal. I so much appreciated his professionalism and attention to detail. I strongly recommend him and I will definitely make plans to see him as I continue to rehab.Do yourself and your golf game a favor and see Shawn, he will improve your game much more than that new driver or rescue wedge ever will.
Madelyn Jenkins: I started working with Sean at Achieving Your Best doing golf specific fitness training. He did a TPI Assessment first and then built me an online fitness program based off of my limitations as well as a BodiTrak assessment. I train with him twice a week at Achieving Your Best and do on course coaching a couple times per month. I am hitting my driver 50 yards farther and straighter and scoring on average 10 strokes better than last season. I’m excited for the future playing High School golf and getting noticed by the College coaches so I can play at the College level on scholarship. I recommend Sean to any Junior or High School golfer who wants to get their body and game ready for the next level.
Karen Fielding: I first met Sean through a ladies golf clinic he offered last summer. During that time it became evident that I needed to improve my golf skills but, my lack of mobility, balance and overall fitness kept me from making those improvements. Before I could really improve my golf game I had to improve my personal fitness. Sean offered the opportunity to train with him at Achieving Your Best. Through various golf and fitness assessments he set up a personal training program for me. I train with him two days a week. Each day of training offers a workout that is muscle specific and golf specific. Sean does an excellent job of explaining the goal of the exercise and teaching each movement pattern. He can modify a program/exercise to meet a specific need I might have on that day. I look forward to going to these workouts. Sean motivates and challenges me to push myself because he knows I can. As a result, my balance, mobility and strength continues to improve, I see it in the daily tasks I perform and the confidence I have in myself. Sean has a passion for making a difference in the lives of his clients through lifetime fitness and golf training. He has made a difference in my life. Let Sean and his training program make a difference in yours.
Jeremy Carter: Had my first ever lesson today with Sean at Island Green. It was an awesome experience. Within minutes, he identified my main flaw and had me working drills to correct it. We took our time and I learned a lot about focused practice, which is great bc I, like a lot of others, used to just rush through a bucket trying to fix my flaws. Best thing he taught me was how to work on swing without needing to hit a ball each time, you can tell so much from divot and where you bottom out. It was a great experience and the facility at Island Green was awesome. The new owners are doing a great job on bringing the course back to a great place to play.
Derrick Eckford: Sean's Foundation Program has really helped me learn the fundamentals, how to practice effectively, and what to focus on before and during each shot. Also, the Boditrac equipment he uses is great for helping me see what I need to change to play better shots. Sean is passionate and cares about helping novice golfers like myself improve in all areas.
Eddie Johnson: I met golf coaches Sean and Chad through the women's clinic at Deer Lake Golf Course. Learning golf seemed totally impossible to me but meant a lot to my husband. I went to the clinic and fell in love with the class and the coaches. Through clear instruction and patience I am now playing with friends and of course my husband. Each week my golf skills improve. I look forward to Thursday evening just to see what I can learn and to get practice in with coaches who know the little changes to make to allow me to be a better golfer. Thank you so much Chad and Sean. I hope to encourage more women to get involved in a fun and challenging game called golf!Cindy Johnson
Donnie Huffman: I recently met with Sean for a swing analysis session. Let me tell you it was worth every penny. My lack of flexibility was limiting my golf game. After a week on the prescribed stretching program and swing drills, I shot the best round I've had by 12 strokes. (Includes a 39 on back nine) I am 2 clubs longer with irons. I encourage everyone to meet with him instead of buying a new driver! Thanks Sean!
Brian Orr: So 6 months ago I put down my clubs and decided to hit the gym and try to reverse some of the aging process. My main goals was to get in better shape and be able to play better golf. I play with too many friends whose game has declined with age and start to see them not enjoy playing as much. So I called my friend Sean Saunders at SWS Golf Academy and we set up a plan to start training 2-3 days per week. Now that Spring is here I pulled the clubs out of the garage and started playing again, I had to shake off the rust but after a couple of rounds I am seeing the differences. After just 6 months of training in the gym I am seeing a 2 club distance with my irons and carrying the driver between 280-310 yds in the air. Without a doubt I am hitting the ball as far now as I have the 37 years I have been playing golf. The best part is I am swinging easier and hitting it further which is giving me better control of the ball. Next we will move from the gym to the golf course for lessons and see what improvements can come next. Some may think a private trainer is too expensive but I see know that I was wasting money before by not having one. Call Sean up and see what he can do for you.
Clear Creek: 13 year old son and I went to get evaluated. it was great. we found the a reason we need to work on.for golf and to stay fit for life. treadmill and a weights do not keep you flexible.thanks for all your help.TPI site is awesome
Justin Block: Highly recommended! I just finished a foundation program with Sean this summer and the results were great. I have played golf for awhile but the scores never seemed to drop. After a TPI evaluation Sean was able to show me weaknesses in my body and swing, from there he was able to break the swing down into sections I could understand and practice on. Sean is very positive and patient. Give him a try and you will not be disappointed.

Deer Lake Golf Course: what do users think?
Ervin Friend: change week end rates on Monday because it was a holiday i thank it's to much to pay won't be back weekend or holiday
Trey Eckols: Booked a tee time on a Friday afternoon through their website. My receipt showed as the weekday price of $18 per person however when I arrived I was charged the weekend price of $25 per person and was told that there would be no carts allowed on the course. There was no indication or warning if this on the website and I was told to check the Facebook page next time. The cart paths were unfinished and confusing, not to mention fully underwater in some places. The course was in terrible condition, fairways had bare patches and the rough in most areas was completely out of control. The “sand” in the bunkers all over the course were completely gravel, and the greens were some of the worst maintained and slowest I have ever played. For $25 to walk 9 holes, this is by far the worst courses for your money in the area. Save yourself some frustration and play somewhere else.
Tom Kassner: Deer LK is the worst facility that I have played in over 50 yrs of golf. There is nothing positive to sayThe course is brutal to say the least.Carts are dirty.ect.Spend a couple of bucks more & play a decent place.
Ken Stufflebeam: Poorly maintained, poorly staffed. Needlessly cut down many trees last year, I assume to lessen maintenance. Springfield Park Board courses are much better. This used to be a nice course.
jason congdon: Enjoyed the round
Dan Noble: I had a membership at a Great Life golf course, Dear Lake, and couldn’t believe the disrepair of the course. The reason for this poor management! It was unfair, unreasonable, and unprofessional. This lack of service ranged from the dishonesty of onsite management, the low standards, and improper acts of employees, especially the Golf Pro, and maintenance crew, and the poor membership contract to mention a few areas. If considering membership there think twice; I know I would never recommend it to anyone nor will I play it.
Phil Rahn: I play all three of the Springfield area courses and find them challenging. The personnel are super friendly and helpful. I love the Christmas picture! These people have the Christmas spirit all year long with their smiles. Todd, what a handsome young man. Not you, but your son. Ha,Ha
Brad Beach: This was a nice course but has fallen into disrepair. There are other, better options in the area. I hope they turn it around as it can be a fun place to play.
James Robertson: Worked out at the fitness facility for several years pre-2020. The entire building was leaking and covered in black mold and the window panes were literally warped with water damage in the club house. I came by today and it looked like they had at least put a coat of paint on it. I hope they fixed the underlying issue.
Craig Jones: This course is the worst I've ever played. Fairways are like pastures and the greens had trenches running across it, so putting was impossible. Would never recommend this course to anyone.
Josh Wells: Course was in horrible shape. Tee boxes and fairways were indistinguishable from the rough. Greens were terrible and the cart could barely get up hills. Not worth the green fee at all. I won’t be back.
KJunk Gjfcrgjcgrjc: This pace would make a cow pasture more desirable to play. Our car was so noisy, we could hardly talk over it. Many of he fairways looked like they were under construction, very rough play. Clippings from the mower was everywhere. The second cut wasn’t, way too high. The greens did roll well though.Used the restroom and it was okay but the hall didn’t have the light on and could have caused an accident.
Christina Nuttall: Read the fine PRINT! My family joined for $15 amonth after a year our rate was bumped up to $27 a person and we recieved no notification of this! After contacting the company we were told they sent and email which we didn't recieve. Also that they renewed our contract for another year and that in order to cancel your membership you have to fill out a form by February 28th they automatically renew on April 1st and can't be canceled for another year even with the spike in rates. I emailed numerous people in the company and being first time members, I will never join again! I'm use to contracts lasting a hear but after a year I've never seen one that automatically renewed me for another year of paying with out my permission and not being able to canceled:( Bad business!
Randy Bates: Played tournament under very wet conditions...course well maintained
keith coons: If you are a high handicap golfer, you had better bring lots of balls. Course is terrible with extremely high rough next to fairway. If you are off the fairway( number 10 fairway has a strip of rough running down the middle to lose balls in, seriously) you will be trying to find balls in 5-8 inch rough. you will have everyone in your group looking for a ball that misses the fairway by 5-10 yards. TERRIBLE. Guy at clubhouse said they were going to leave it high. I will drop membership if they can`t keep the course fair for weekend golfer. don`t think they have any idea how to maintain a public golf course. Can`t even give a 1 star, but have to to post
seldon essex: 4 stars, only because the grounds are under construction, very difficult to follow the tees. Needs better signs for people that have not played there much this year. Also need to open the hot dog griller. Still love the course. Course is coming on nicely, surprisingly well due to the past week of rain. Played 9 holes today, haven't gotten to play the back 9 since it was closed last week. I do hope they do better with food selection. Waiting to see.
Lee McIntosh: A great place to play golf
Craig Gilliam: Absolutely the worse course I have played in my 40 years of golf. Will never play this course again!
Jake V.: Was trying to check when my subscription was ending, ended up getting placed on hold for 10+minutes for a something that should've taken less than a minute. Dude never took my name or number or any information. ended up hanging up and just calling Great Life, was able to get an answer in less than 5 minutes. Not the first time I've had issues with Deer Lake.
Denise Dunaway: The staff was nice but the course was not. Do not use the bathroom on the course unless you are desperate. The fairway was basically rough in most places because they hadn’t mowed.
misty robinhood: Beautiful golf course
