Neva Mahan: I Can’t even say they have the worst customer service because customer service doesn’t exist. They do not answer phone calls, emails, or social media. The owner can post about meet ups and products he allegedly sells but cannot respond to actual customers. We paid for a tent which allegedly could not be fulfilled. After several months we inquired about our order and no response. We had to dispute the purchase and after promising a law suit the owner finally received all of our messages. He claimed the problem was with his bank. We still did not receive a refund. Our dispute was resolved and we were found not responsible because product was never provided. Other customers have made the same complaints for years which we were unaware of. Do not purchase anything from Artemis Overland.
Jake Coalson: Yet another person whose fallen victim. Card was charged March 16th, no answer from the company via email or phone. Something is definetly shady here.
Nathan George: Ordered a part, supposedly in stock and would ship in 1 to 2 days. Yeah right. Can't get any response via email or phone. Tried a few other ways looking back on older reviews, disconnected or no longer an email so I guess anyone who cared has moved on. Cancelled via email and a phone call but he probably hasnt looked or listened to know that. Luckily my credit card company will make it right. Just wish I would have looked at store reviews before ordering online. Hope this helps others!
Paul Taylor: I was sent there trying to find an off the wall connector for my generator. They didn't have it ( neither did anyone else) but the customer service was incredible. It's been a while since I had people help me as much as they did. Impressive!

Michael, Daphne Barnett: Ordered a $2,200 bumper on 3-13-23 it’s 4-21-23 haven’t heard a peep. Emailed a bunch of times to 2 different emails. Still haven’t heard anything from anyone. Asked for my order to be cancelled and refunded. Still haven’t heard from anyone. Filed a dispute with affirm to hopefully get this settled. That is a lot of money to be ok with taking from a customer and then ghosting them. Not very professional at all. Just a bunch of thieves.

Sean Charley: Stay away from any online ordering. I can’t vouch for their physical store location (if it even still exists), but all of the reviews about placing an order and getting charged and not receiving any product are correct. I placed an order, then followed up via email asking for an order update but received no response. Thankfully, I was able to dispute it with my credit card company and was able to receive a refund. Don’t do business with this company unless you want a headache.

David Chung: Made an order on 11/2/2022 and it is now 12/9/2022. Emailed them checking on shipping status…no response. Emailed them again asking for refund because they weren’t responding in any way….no response. I could have ordered from a bunch of other sites but for some random reason I ended up ordering from Artemis. Are they still in business? Or do they just collect the payments and ignore fulfilling the orders. Haven’t posted a bad review of a business in years but I don’t know how else to get their attention. Sad. Don’t make the same mistake I made. So frustrating.

Larry: Purchased a lift kit on 9/25. It's now 10/7. I have been calling since I purchased it and have gotten noting but a run around. Explained I had a time line and they just emailed letting me know after confirming the parts were available that they actually are not. They haven’t offered a refund at all and won't return my calls. Buyer beware, this company has poor communication and no ethics.

Skip Gorz: Well, the last time I was in a Play It Again was in Des Moines, IA many years ago. They had used equipment. I'd say this was 3 times the size I expected and had more new than old! I was there to run in and buy a used softball to shape an old glove I came across. And amidst a large basket of what looked like brand new softballs, I did find a cruddy old old softball! Just what I wanted! So, then I forgot about my wife waiting on the car because I had walk the store. This is much closer to a full fledged, broad activity sporting goods store. I was doing OK working my way from right to left. I was down to one more aisle. I looked up and saw the longest, highest 2 rows of brand new baseball gloves I've ever seen! The seemed to have every manufacturer represented, from A2000 down to Franklins. It was the only time I've been able to view the differences first hand....then, of course, I walked to the counter with my old softball, cursing my 74 stuff years and 300 pounds. Every spring I get this way and though I can't move much anymore, it was still the biggest thrill I've had in a year!...Maybe 10!

s clingan: I called to inquire about the prices of their pickle ball paddles, and was told from $20-$100. I arrived at the store 15 minutes or less after placing the call. I could not locate the $20 paddle and inquired. The clerk informed me "they must have sold out of them, but their best deal was now $54 for two paddles and two balls". That might be a deal, but not the price I was quoted on the phone. The clerk said they were sorry, but it does not impress me when they try to upsell you on a product they quoted you on the phone for $34 less.

S Terry: Great deals on used and new equipment, hands down, but I had something embroidered and it was about 3 weeks late and they charged about $10 more than I was quoted initially. There was some winter weather in the mix, which they said was part of the issue, but they did a very poor job of updating me unless I bugged them about it. I was told multiple times I would be getting a call back about the status of my order every time I inquired, but that didn't happen once. I didn't mind paying what they asked, as it was part of a gift for my son, but it would have been nice to have been told an honest price upfront. I'm not sure that I'll be personalizing anything like that with them again.
Peter Black: Honestly, this is one of the best play it again sports I've ever been to. It was much larger than any other one I've been to. It seems more like a sporting goods store than a play it again. They had a lot of options of used goods and everything seemed to be priced pretty decently.

I didn't make a purchase, but I will be back when it's time to spend some 2A money. Didn’t want to wait for rifle season so Tony took an hour to get me set up and comfortable with a new crossbow, 12 hours later and I tagged a nice buck. Then I went out one morning a week later and dry fired it like the dummy I am and broke the string. EO didn’t have extras in stock but Spencer bent over backwards calling around to find one for me to get me back in the woods that night.Big box store would have laughed at me and sent me packing.
